"IndicationAndUsage": "Immunotherapy using allergenic extracts is indicated for use in patients with severe allergy symptoms (hay fever, rhinitis, etc.) to pollens, molds, insects, animal danders and various other allergens. "IndicationAndUsage": "Vancomycin Hydrochloride Capsules are indicated for the treatment of C. difficile-associated diarrhea. Vancomycin Hydrochloride Capsules are also used for the treatment of enterocolitis caused by Staphylococcus aureus (including methicillin-resistant strains) in adult and pediatric patients less than 18 years of age. Limitations of Use: 1 Parenteral administration of vancomycin is not effective for the above infections; therefore, Vancomycin Hydrochloride Capsules must be given orally for these infections., 2 Orally administered vancomycin hydrochloride capsules is not effective for other types of infections.",
"Description": "Vancomycin Hydrochloride Capsules USP for oral administration contain chromatographically purified vancomycin hydrochloride, a tricyclic glycopeptide antibiotic derived from Amycolatopsis orientalis (formerly Nocardia orientalis), which has the chemical formula C66H75Cl2N9O24HCl. The molecular weight of vancomycin hydrochloride is 1485.73; 500 mg of the base is equivalent to 0.34 mmol. The capsules contain 125 mg vancomycin (equivalent to 128 mg vancomycin hydrochloride). These capsules also contain polyethylene glycol 6000, FD&C Yellow No. 5, titanium dioxide, FD&C Blue No. 1, sodium lauryl sulfate and gelatin. The capsules contain 250 mg vancomycin (equivalent to 256 mg vancomycin hydrochloride).These capsules also contain polyethylene glycol 6000, yellow iron oxide, titanium dioxide, FD&C Blue No. 1, sodium lauryl sulfate, gelatin. Both 125 mg and 250 mg capsules are imprinted with ink which may contain titanium dioxide, carnauba wax, white shellac, glyceryl monooleate. Vancomycin hydrochloride has the structural formula."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Carefully consider the potential benefits and risks of diclofenac sodium delayed-release tablets and other treatment options before deciding to use diclofenac. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration consistent with individual patient treatment goals ( see WARNINGS; Gastrointestinal Bleeding, Ulceration, and Perforation). Diclofenac is indicated: 1 For relief of the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis, 2 For relief of the signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, 3 For acute or long-term use in the relief of signs and symptoms of ankylosing spondylitis.",
"Description": "Diclofenac sodium delayed-release tablets is a benzene-acetic acid derivative. Diclofenac sodium is a white or slightly yellowish crystalline powder and is sparingly soluble in water at 25°C. The chemical name is 2-[(2,6-dichlorophenyl)amino] benzeneacetic acid, monosodium salt. The molecular weight is 318.14. Its molecular formula is C 14H 10Cl 2NNaO 2, and it has the following structural formula. The inactive ingredients in diclofenac sodium delayed-release tablets include: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, methacrylic acid copolymer, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, povidone, propylene glycol, sodium starch glycolate, talc, titanium dioxide, triethyl citrate and ink fine black."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Doxepin Hydrochloride Capsules, USP are recommended for the treatment of: 1 Psychoneurotic patients with depression and/or anxiety., 2 Depression and/or anxiety associated with alcoholism (not to be taken concomitantly with alcohol)., 3 Depression and/or anxiety associated with organic disease (the possibility of drug interaction should be considered if the patient is receiving other drugs concomitantly)., 4 Psychotic depressive disorders with associated anxiety including involutional depression and manic-depressive disorders.",
"Description": "Doxepin hydrochloride is one of a class of psychotherapeutic agents known as dibenzoxepin tricyclic compounds. The molecular formula of the compound is C 19H 21NO HCl having a molecular weight of 315.84. It is a white crystalline powder freely soluble in water, in ethanol (96%), and methylene chloride. It may be represented by the following structural formula:. Chemically, doxepin hydrochloride is a dibenzoxepin derivative and is the first of a family of tricyclic psychotherapeutic agents. Specifically, it is an isomeric mixture of 1-Propanamine, 3-dibenz[ b, e]oxepin-11 (6 H)ylidene- N, N-dimethyl-hydrochloride. Each 10 mg, 25 mg, 50 mg, 75 mg and 100 mg doxepin capsule for oral administration contains doxepin hydrochloride, USP equivalent to 10 mg, 25 mg, 50 mg, 75 mg and 100 mg of doxepin, respectively and the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch (corn) and sodium lauryl sulfate. The empty gelatin capsule shells contain D&C Yellow No. 10, gelatin, sodium lauryl sulfate and titanium dioxide. In addition, the 10 mg, 25 mg and 50 mg empty gelatin capsule shells contain FD&C Yellow No. 6 and the 75 mg and 100 mg empty gelatin capsule shells contain FD&C Green No. 3. The imprinting ink contains black iron oxide, D&C Yellow No. 10 Aluminum Lake, FD&C Blue No. 1 Aluminum Lake, FD&C Blue No. 2 Aluminum Lake, FD&C Red No. 40 Aluminum Lake, propylene glycol and shellac glaze."

"Description": "The active ingredient in pantoprazole sodium delayed-release tablets, USP is a substituted benzimidazole, sodium 5-(difluoromethoxy)-2-[[(3,4-dimethoxy-2-pyridinyl)methyl] sulfinyl]-1H-benzimidazole sesquihydrate, a compound that inhibits gastric acid secretion. Its molecular formula is C16H14F2N3NaO4S x 1.5 H2O, with a molecular weight of 432.4. The structural formula is:. Pantoprazole sodium, USP sesquihydrate is a white to off-white powder. Pantoprazole has weakly basic and acidic properties. Pantoprazole sodium, USP sesquihydrate is freely soluble in water and in dehydrated alcohol, very soluble in methanol, practically insoluble in hexane and dichloromethane. The stability of the compound in aqueous solution is pH-dependent. The rate of degradation increases with decreasing pH. At ambient temperature, the degradation half-life is approximately 2.8 hours at pH 5 and approximately 220 hours at pH 7.8. Pantoprazole sodium, USP is supplied as a delayed-release tablet, available in two strengths (20 mg and 40 mg). Each pantoprazole sodium delayed-release tablet, USP contains 45.1 mg or 22.56 mg of pantoprazole sodium sesquihydrate (equivalent to 40 mg or 20 mg pantoprazole, respectively) with the following inactive ingredients: calcium stearate, crospovidone, ferric oxide black, ferric oxide yellow, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose, mannitol, methacrylic acid copolymer, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, propylene glycol, shellac, sodium carbonate, sodium lauryl sulfate, talc, titanium dioxide, and triethyl citrate. Pantoprazole sodium delayed-release tablets, USP (40 mg and 20 mg) complies with USP dissolution test 3."

"Description": "Escitalopram tablets, USP are an orally administered selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). Escitalopram is the pure S-enantiomer (single isomer) of the racemic bicyclic phthalane derivative citalopram. Escitalopram oxalate is designated S-(+)-1-[3-(dimethyl-amino)propyl]-1-( p-fluorophenyl)-5-phthalancarbonitrile oxalate with the following structural formula:. The molecular formula is C 20H 21FN 2O C 2H 2O 4 and the molecular weight is 414.40. Escitalopram oxalate, USP occurs as a fine, white to slightly-yellow powder and is freely soluble in methanol and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), soluble in isotonic saline solution, sparingly soluble in water and ethanol, slightly soluble in ethyl acetate and insoluble in heptane. Escitalopram oxalate is available as tablets. Escitalopram tablets are film-coated, round tablets containing escitalopram oxalate in strengths equivalent to 5 mg, 10 mg and 20 mg escitalopram base. The 10 mg and 20 mg tablets are scored. The tablets also contain the following inactive ingredients: talc, croscarmellose sodium, microcrystalline cellulose/colloidal silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate. The film coating contains hypromellose, titanium dioxide and polyethylene glycol."

"Description": "VIGAMOX® (moxifloxacin HCl ophthalmic solution) 0.5% is a sterile ophthalmic solution. It is an 8-methoxy fluoroquinolone anti-infective for topical ophthalmic use. Chemical Name. 1-Cyclopropyl-6-fluoro-1,4-dihydro-8-methoxy-7-[(4aS,7aS)-octahydro-6H-pyrrolol[3,4-b]pyridin-6-yl]-4-oxo-3-quinolinecarboxylic acid, monohydrochloride. Moxifloxacin hydrochloride is a slightly yellow to yellow crystalline powder. Each mL of VIGAMOX® solution contains 5.45 mg moxifloxacin hydrochloride equivalent to 5 mg moxifloxacin base. Contains: Active: Moxifloxacin 0.5% (5 mg/mL); Inactives: Boric acid, sodium chloride, and purified water. May also contain hydrochloric acid/sodium hydroxide to adjust pH to approximately 6.8. VIGAMOX® solution is an isotonic solution with an osmolality of approximately 290 mOsm/kg."

The 10 mg tablets contain D&C red No. 30 aluminum lake. Chemically, oxymorphone hydrochloride is 4, 5α-epoxy-3, 14-dihydroxy-17-methylmorphinan-6-one hydrochloride, a white or slightly off-white, odorless powder, which is sparingly soluble in alcohol and ether, but freely soluble in water. The molecular weight of oxymorphone hydrochloride is 337.80. The pKa1 and pKa2 of oxymorphone at 37°C are 8.17 and 9.54, respectively. The octanol/aqueous partition coefficient at 37°C and pH 7.4 is 0.98. The structural formula for oxymorphone hydrochloride is as follows."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Prednisone tablets and solutions are indicated in the following conditions.",
"Description": "Prednisone is a glucocorticoid. Glucocorticoids are adrenocortical steroids, both naturally occurring and synthetic, which are readily absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. Prednisone, USP is a white to partially white, crystalline powder. It is very slightly soluble in water; slightly soluble in alcohol, chloroform, dioxane, and methanol. The chemical name for prednisone is 17,21-dihydroxypregna-1,4-dienne-3,11,20-trione. The structural formula is represented below. Each tablet, for oral administration, contains 1, 2.5, 5, 10, 20, or 50 mg of prednisone. PredniSONE Oral Solution contains 5 mg prednisone per 5 mL, and PredniSONE Intensol TMOral Solution (Concentrate) contains 5 mg prednisone per mL. Inactive Ingredients. PredniSONE Tablets, USP contain the following inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, sodium starch glycolate and stearic acid (1 mg, 2.5 mg, and 5 mg only). PredniSONE Oral Solution, USP contains alcohol 5% and the following inactive ingredients: anhydrous citric acid, edetate disodium, fructose, hydrochloric acid, maltol, peppermint oil, polysorbate 80, propylene glycol, saccharin sodium, sodium benzoate, vanilla flavor and purified water. "IndicationAndUsage": "Prednisone tablets and solutions are indicated in the following conditions.",
"Description": "Prednisone is a glucocorticoid. Glucocorticoids are adrenocortical steroids, both naturally occurring and synthetic, which are readily absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. Prednisone, USP is a white to partially white, crystalline powder. It is very slightly soluble in water; slightly soluble in alcohol, chloroform, dioxane, and methanol. The chemical name for prednisone is 17,21-dihydroxypregna-1,4-dienne-3,11,20-trione. The structural formula is represented below. Each tablet, for oral administration, contains 1, 2.5, 5, 10, 20, or 50 mg of prednisone. PredniSONE Oral Solution contains 5 mg prednisone per 5 mL, and PredniSONE Intensol TMOral Solution (Concentrate) contains 5 mg prednisone per mL. Inactive Ingredients. PredniSONE Tablets, USP contain the following inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, sodium starch glycolate and stearic acid (1 mg, 2.5 mg, and 5 mg only). "Description": "Doxepin hydrochloride is one of a class of psychotherapeutic agents known as dibenzoxepin tricyclic compounds. The molecular formula of the compound is C 19H 21NOHCl having a molecular weight of 315.84. It is a white crystalline solid readily soluble in water, lower alcohols and chloroform. Its structural formula is:. Chemically,Doxepin HCl is a dibenzoxepin derivative and is the first of a family of tricyclic psychotherapeutic agents. Specifically, it is an isomeric mixture of: 1-Propanamine, 3-dibenz[b,e]oxepin-11(6 H)ylidene- N,N-dimethyl-hydrochloride. Each doxepin hydrochloride capsule is equivalent to 10 mg, 25 mg, 50 mg, 75 mg, 100 mg, and 150 mg of doxepin for oral administration. Each capsule contains the following inactive ingredients: corn starch, D&C Yellow #10, FD&C Blue #1, FD&C Blue #2, FD&C Red #40, gelatin, magnesium stearate, pharmaceutical glaze, sodium lauryl sulfate, synthetic black iron oxide, titanium dioxide and other ingredients. In addition, the 10 mg capsule contains FD&C Yellow #6; the 25 mg and 50 mg capsules contain FD&C Yellow #6 and propylene glycol; the 75 mg capsule contains FD&C Green #3 and propylene glycol, and the 100 mg capsule contains FD&C Green #3."
