"IndicationAndUsage": "Moexipril hydrochloride tablets USP are indicated for treatment of patients with hypertension. It may be used alone or in combination with thiazide diuretics. In using moexipril hydrochloride tablets USP, consideration should be given to the fact that another ACE inhibitor, captopril, has caused agranulocytosis, particularly in patients with renal impairment or collagen-vascular disease. Available data are insufficient to show that moexipril hydrochloride tablets USP do not have a similar risk (see WARNINGS). In considering use of moexipril hydrochloride tablets USP, it should be noted that in controlled trials ACE inhibitors have an effect on blood pressure that is less in black patients than in non-blacks. In addition, ACE inhibitors (for which adequate data are available) cause a higher rate of angioedema in black than in non-black patients (see WARNINGS,Angioedema).",
"Description": "Moexipril hydrochloride, USP, the hydrochloride salt of moexipril, is chemically described as [3S-[2[R*(R*)],3R*]]-2-[2-[[1-(ethoxycarbonyl)-3-phenylpropyl]amino]-1-oxopropyl]-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-6,7-dimethoxy-3-isoquinolinecarboxylic acid, monohydrochloride. It is a non-sulfhydryl containing precursor of the active angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor moexiprilat and its structural formula is. C27H34N2O7HCl M.W. 535.04. Moexipril hydrochloride, USP is a fine white to off-white powder. It is soluble (about 10% weight-to-volume) in distilled water at room temperature. Moexipril hydrochloride tablets USP are supplied as bisected, coated tablets containing 7.5 mg and 15 mg of moexipril hydrochloride, USP for oral administration. In addition to the active ingredient, moexipril hydrochloride, USP, the tablet core contains the following inactive ingredients: crospovidone, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, pregelatinized starch and sodium bicarbonate. The film coating of the 7.5 mg tablet contains: hypromellose, iron oxide red, lactose monohydrate, titanium dioxide and triacetin. The film coating of the 15 mg tablet contains: hypromellose, iron oxide red, lactose monohydrate, titanium dioxide and triacetin. Moexipril hydrochloride tablets USP meet USP Dissolution Test 2."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Dextrose Injection (5% and 10%) is indicated as source of water and calories in adult and pediatric patients, and may also be used as a diluent for reconstitution of a powder or liquid drug product.",
"Description": "Dextrose Injection, 5% and 10% USP are sterile, non-pyrogenic solutions of Dextrose, USP in Water for Injection in a polyvinylchloride flexible plastic container for intravenous administration as a source of water and calories. Partial-fill containers, designed to facilitate admixture when necessary, are available in 25 mL, 50 mL, 100 mL, 250 mL, 500 mL, and 1000 mL sizes. See Table 1 for the content and characteristics of this solution. The solution contains no bacteriostatic, antimicrobial agent or added buffer and is intended only for use as a single-dose injection. The pH range is 4.0 (3.2 to 6.5). Water can permeate from inside the container into the overwrap but not in amounts sufficient to affect the solution significantly. Dextrose, USP is chemically designated D-glucose, monohydrate (C6H12O6 H2O), a hexose sugar freely soluble in water. The molecular weight of dextrose (D-glucose) monohydrate is 198.17. It has the following structural formula. Water for Injection, USP is chemically designated H2O. Dextrose is derived from corn. The VIAFLEX Plus plastic container is fabricated from polyvinyl chloride (PL 146 Plastic). VIAFLEX Plus on the container indicates the presence of a drug additive in a drug vehicle. The VIAFLEX Plus plastic container system utilizes the same container as the VIAFLEX plastic container system. The amount of water that can permeate from inside the container into the overwrap is insufficient to affect the solution. Solutions in contact with the plastic container can leach out certain of its chemical components in small amounts within the expiration period, e.g., di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP), up to 5 parts per million. The safety of the plastic has been confirmed in tests in animals according to USP biological tests for plastic containers as well as by tissue culture toxicity studies."

<IndicationAndUsage>Therapy with lipid-altering agents should be only one component of multiple risk factor intervention in individuals at significantly increased risk for atherosclerotic vascular disease due to hyperlipidemia. Niacin therapy is indicated as an adjunct to diet when the response to a diet restricted in saturated fat and cholesterol and other nonpharmacologic measures alone has been inadequate. Limitations of Use. No incremental benefit of NIASPAN coadministered with simvastatin or lovastatin on cardiovascular morbidity and mortality over and above that demonstrated for niacin, simvastatin, or lovastatin monotherapy has been established.</IndicationAndUsage>

NIASPAN (niacin tablet, film-coated extended-release), contains niacin, which at therapeutic doses is an antihyperlipidemic agent. Niacin (nicotinic acid, or 3-pyridinecarboxylic acid) is a white, crystalline powder, very soluble in water, with the following structural formula. NIASPAN is an unscored, medium-orange, film-coated tablet for oral administration and is available in three tablet strengths containing 500, 750, and 1000 mg niacin. NIASPAN tablets also contain the inactive ingredients hypromellose, povidone, stearic acid, and polyethylene glycol, and the following coloring agents: FD&C yellow #6/sunset yellow FCF Aluminum Lake, synthetic red and yellow iron oxides, and titanium dioxide.

<IndicationAndUsage>Prednisone tablets and solutions are indicated in the following conditions.</IndicationAndUsage>

Prednisone is a glucocorticoid. Glucocorticoids are adrenocortical steroids, both naturally occurring and synthetic, which are readily absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. Prednisone, USP is a white to partially white, crystalline powder. It is very slightly soluble in water; slightly soluble in alcohol, chloroform, dioxane, and methanol. <IndicationAndUsage>Moexipril hydrochloride tablets USP are indicated for treatment of patients with hypertension. In addition, ACE inhibitors (for which adequate data are available) cause a higher rate of angioedema in black than in non-black patients (see WARNINGS,Angioedema).</IndicationAndUsage>

Moexipril hydrochloride, USP, the hydrochloride salt of moexipril, is chemically described as [3S-[2[R*(R*)],3R*]]-2-[2-[[1-(ethoxycarbonyl)-3-phenylpropyl]amino]-1-oxopropyl]-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-6,7-dimethoxy-3-isoquinolinecarboxylic acid, monohydrochloride. Moexipril hydrochloride tablets USP meet USP Dissolution Test 2.

<IndicationAndUsage>Dextrose Injection (5% and 10%) is indicated as source of water and calories in adult and pediatric patients, and may also be used as a diluent for reconstitution of a powder or liquid drug product.</IndicationAndUsage>

Dextrose Injection, 5% and 10% USP are sterile, non-pyrogenic solutions of Dextrose, USP in Water for Injection in a polyvinylchloride flexible plastic container for intravenous administration as a source of water and calories. The safety of the plastic has been confirmed in tests in animals according to USP biological tests for plastic containers as well as by tissue culture toxicity studies.

The safety of the plastic has been confirmed in tests in animals according to USP biological tests for plastic containers as well as by tissue culture toxicity studies.
