"IndicationAndUsage": "SIGNIFOR is a somatostatin analog indicated for the treatment of adult patients with Cushing's disease for whom pituitary surgery is not an option or has not been curative (1).",
"Description": "SIGNIFOR (pasireotide) injection is prepared as a sterile solution of pasireotide diaspartate in a tartaric acid buffer for administration by subcutaneous injection. SIGNIFOR is a somatostatin analog. Pasireotide diaspartate, chemically known as (2-Aminoethyl) carbamic acid (2R,5S,8S,11S,14R,17S,19aS)-11-(4-aminobutyl)-5-benzyl-8-(4-benzyloxybenzyl)-14-(1H-indol-3-ylmethyl)-4,7,10,13,16,19-hexaoxo-17-phenyloctadecahydro-3a,6,9,12,15,18-hexaazacyclopentacyclooctadecen-2-yl ester, di[(S)-2-aminosuccinic acid] salt, is a cyclohexapeptide with pharmacologic properties mimicking those of the natural hormone somatostatin. The molecular formula of pasireotide diaspartate is C58H66N10O9 2 C4H7NO4 and the molecular weight is 1313.41 g/mol. The structural formula is. SIGNIFOR is supplied as a sterile solution in a single-dose, 1 mL colorless glass ampule containing pasireotide in 0.3 mg/mL, 0.6 mg/mL, or 0.9 mg/mL strengths for subcutaneous injection. "Description": "ISTURISA (osilodrostat) is a cortisol synthesis inhibitor. The chemical name of osilodrostat is 4-[(5R)-6,7-Dihydro-5H-pyrrolo[1,2-c]imidazol-5-yl]-3-fluorobenzonitrile dihydrogen phosphate. Molecular formula of osilodrostat salt (phosphate) form on anhydrous basis is: (C13H11FN3) (H2PO4). Relative molecular mass of osilodrostat phosphate salt form is 325.24 g/mol. ISTURISA tablets for oral administration contains 1 mg or 5 mg of osilodrostat equivalent to 1.4 mg or 7.2 mg of osilodrostat phosphate respectively, and the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, and magnesium stearate. The film coat is composed of hypromellose, titanium dioxide, ferric oxide (yellow), ferric oxide (red) (1 mg only), polyethylene glycol 4000, and talc."

The chemical designation is 2-[2-(4-dibenzo [ b,f] [1,4] thiazepin-11-yl-1-piperazinyl)ethoxy]-ethanol fumarate (2:1) (salt). It is present in tablets as the fumarate salt. All doses and tablet strengths are expressed as milligrams of base, not as fumarate salt. Its molecular formula is C 42H 50N 6O 4S 2C 4H 4O 4and it has a molecular weight of 883.11 (fumarate salt). The structural formula is:. Quetiapine fumarate is a white to off-white crystalline powder which is moderately soluble in water. Quetiapine Extended-release tablets, USP 50 mg are supplied for oral administration as 50 mg (peach, capsule shaped and film coated). Inactive ingredients for quetiapine extended-release tablets, USP 50 mg are hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, povidone K30, silicified microcrystalline cellulose, sodium chloride and talc. The film coating contains polyethylene glycol, red iron oxide, yellow iron oxide, talc and titanium dioxide. Each 50 mg tablet contains 58 mg of quetiapine fumarate, USP equivalent to 50 mg quetiapine. Quetiapine Extended-release tablets, USP 50 mg meet USP Dissolution Test 5."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Qelbree is indicated for the treatment of Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in adults and pediatric patients 6 years and older.",
"Description": "Qelbree contains viloxazine, a selective norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor, in the form of viloxazine hydrochloride which is (±)-2-[(2-ethoxyphenoxy)methyl]morpholine hydrochloride. The molecular formula is C 13H 20NO 3Cl and its molecular weight is 273.8 (HCl salt) with the following structural formula:. Viloxazine hydrochloride is a white to off-white powder. Viloxazine hydrochloride is soluble in water, 0.1N HCl and aqueous solutions of pH 9.5 and lower. Viloxazine hydrochloride is sparingly soluble in methanol, very slightly soluble in acetonitrile, acetic acid and isopropyl alcohol, and practically insoluble in ethyl acetate. Qelbree extended-release capsules are intended for oral administration. Each extended-release capsule contains 100 mg, 150 mg, and 200 mg of viloxazine free base equivalent to 115mg, 173mg, and 231mg, respectively, of viloxazine hydrochloride salt. The inactive ingredients are: Ammonium hydroxide, black iron oxide, butyl alcohol, corn starch, ethylcellulose, FD&C Blue #1, FD&C Red #28, FD&C Yellow #5, FD&C Yellow #6, FD&C Yellow #10, gelatin, hypromellose, isopropyl alcohol, lactose monohydrate, medium chain triglycerides, oleic acid, polyethylene glycol, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, shellac, strong ammonia solution, sucrose, talc, triacetin, titanium dioxide."

"Description": "Tramadol hydrochloride tablets is a centrally acting analgesic. The chemical name for tramadol hydrochloride is (±)cis-2-[(dimethylamino)methyl]-1-(3methoxyphenyl) cyclohexanol hydrochloride. Its structural formula is. The molecular formula of tramadol hydrochloride is C16H25NO2HCl and its molecular weight is 299.8. Tramadol hydrochloride is a white, bitter, crystalline and odorless powder. It is readily soluble in water and ethanol and has a pKa of 9.41. The n-octanol/water log partition coefficient (logP) is 1.35 at pH 7. Each tramadol hydrochloride tablet intended for oral administration contains 50 mg of tramadol hydrochloride. In addition, it also contains the following inactive ingredients: hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate 80, pregelatinized starch, sodium starch glycolate, and titanium dioxide."

"Description": "LIOMNY contains the active ingredient, liothyronine (L-triiodothyronine or LT3), a synthetic form of a thyroid hormone liothyronine in sodium salt form. It is chemically designated as L-Tyrosine, O-(4-hydroxy-3-iodophenyl)-3,5-diiodo-, monosodium salt. The molecular formula, molecular weight and structural formula of liothyronine sodium are given below. LIOMNY contains liothyronine sodium equivalent to liothyronine in 5 mcg, 25 mcg, and 50 mcg. Inactive ingredients consist of calcium sulfate dihydrate, corn starch, gelatin, magnesium stearate and mannitol."

Carvedilol is a racemic mixture with the following structure. Carvedilol tablets, USP are film-coated tablets containing 3.125 mg, 6.25 mg, 12.5 mg or 25 mg of carvedilol. Inactive ingredients consist of colloidal silicon dioxide, crospovidone, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polydextrose, polyethylene glycol, pregelatinized starch, sodium lauryl sulfate, and titanium dioxide. In addition, the 3.125 mg tablets contain FD&C Blue No. 2 Aluminum Lake and FD&C Yellow No. 6 Aluminum Lake. Carvedilol, USP is a white to off-white powder with a molecular weight of 406.5 and a molecular formula of C24H26N2O4. It is freely soluble in dimethylsulfoxide; soluble in methylene chloride and methanol; sparingly soluble in 95% ethanol and isopropanol; slightly soluble in ethyl ether; and practically insoluble in water, gastric fluid (simulated, TS, pH 1.1), and intestinal fluid (simulated, TS without pancreatin, pH 7.5). "IndicationAndUsage": "Hydrochlorothiazide tablets are indicated as adjunctive therapy in edema associated with congestive heart failure, hepatic cirrhosis, and corticosteroid and estrogen therapy. Hydrochlorothiazide tablets have also been found useful in edema due to various forms of renal dysfunction such as nephrotic syndrome, acute glomerulonephritis, and chronic renal failure. Hydrochlorothiazide tablets are indicated in the management of hypertension either as the sole therapeutic agent or to enhance the effectiveness of other antihypertensive drugs in the more severe forms of hypertension.",
"Description": "Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic and antihypertensive. It is the 3,4-dihydro derivative of chlorothiazide. It is chemically designated as 6-chloro-3,4-dihydro-2H-1,2,4-benzothiadiazine- 7-sulfonamide 1,1-dioxide and has the following structural formula. C7H8ClN3O4S2 M.W. 297.74. Hydrochlorothiazide is a white, or practically white, crystalline powder which is slightly soluble in water, but freely soluble in sodium hydroxide solution. Each tablet for oral administration contains 12.5 mg, 25 mg and 50 mg hydrochlorothiazide, USP. In addition, each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: corn starch, dibasic calcium phosphate, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, pregelatinized starch, and sodium starch glycolate.Tablets of 12.5 mg and 25 mg strengths also contain FD&C yellow #6."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Carefully consider the potential benefits and risks of Ibuprofen Tablets and other treatment options before deciding to use Ibuprofen Tablets. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration consistent with individual patient treatment goals [see WARNINGS]. Ibuprofen Tablets are indicated for relief of the signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. Ibuprofen Tablets are indicated for relief of mild to moderate pain. Ibuprofen Tablets are also indicated for the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea. Controlled clinical trials to establish the safety and effectiveness of Ibuprofen Tablets in children have not been conducted.",
"Description": "Ibuprofen Tablets, USP contain the active ingredient ibuprofen, which is (±)-2-(p-isobutylphenyl) propionic acid. Ibuprofen is a white powder with a melting point of 74° to 77° C and is very slightly soluble in water (<1 mg/mL) and readily soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and acetone. The structural formula is represented below. Ibuprofen Tablets, USP, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), is available in 600 mg tablets for oral administration. Inactive ingredients: Colloidal Silicon Dioxide, Corn Starch, Hydroxypropyl Cellulose, Hypromellose, Lactose Anhydrous, Magnesium Stearate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Polyethylene Glycol, Povidone, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Starch Glycolate, Titanium Dioxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Temazepam Capsules, USP are indicated for the short-term treatment of insomnia (generally 7 to 10 days).For patients with short-term insomnia, instructions in the prescription should indicate that Temazepam Capsules, USP should be used for short periods of time (7 to 10 days).The clinical trials performed in support of efficacy were 2 weeks in duration with the final formal assessment of sleep latency performed at the end of treatment.",
"Description": "Temazepam is a benzodiazepine hypnotic agent. The chemical name is 7-chloro-1,3-dihydro-3-hydroxy-1-methyl-5-phenyl-2H-1,4-benzodiazepin-2-one, and the structural formula is. C16H13CIN2O2 MW = 300.74Temazepam is a white, crystalline substance, very slightly soluble in water and sparingly soluble in alcohol USP.Temazepam Capsules, USP, 7.5 mg, 15 mg, 22.5 mg and 30 mg, are for oral administration.7.5 mg, 15 mg, 22.5 mg and 30 mg CapsulesActive Ingredient: temazepam USP7.5 mg CapsulesInactive Ingredients: Corn starch, lactose anhydrous, magnesium stearate, sodium lauryl sulfate, FD&C Red #40 and titanium dioxide.May also include: sodium lauryl sulfate. "IndicationAndUsage": "Loperamide hydrochloride capsules are indicated for the control and symptomatic relief of acute nonspecific diarrhea and of chronic diarrhea associated with inflammatory bowel disease. Loperamide hydrochloride capsules are also indicated for reducing the volume of discharge from ileostomies.",
"Description": "Loperamide hydrochloride is a white to slightly yellow powder and is freely soluble in methanol, isopropyl alcohol, chloroform and slightly soluble in water. Loperamide hydrochloride, 4-(p-chlorophenyl)-4-hydroxy-N,N-dimethyl-α,α-diphenyl-1-piperidinebutyramide monohydrochloride, is a synthetic antidiarrheal for oral use. Its structural formula is. C 29H 33ClN 2O 2HCl M.W. 513.51. Loperamide hydrochloride is available in 2 mg capsules. Each capsule, for oral administration, contains 2 mg loperamide hydrochloride. Loperamide hydrochloride capsules USP also contain the inactive ingredients: dimethylpolysiloxane, gelatin, iron oxide black, iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow, lactose monohydrate, pregelatinized corn starch, magnesium stearate, shellac, and titanium dioxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Tamsulosin hydrochloride capsules are an alpha1 adrenoceptor antagonist indicated for treatment of the signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (1) . Tamsulosin hydrochloride capsules are not indicated for the treatment of hypertension (1).",
"Description": "Tamsulosin hydrochloride is an antagonist of alpha1A adrenoceptors in the prostate. Tamsulosin hydrochloride is (-)-(R)-5-[2-[[2-(o-Ethoxyphenoxy) ethyl]amino]propyl]-2-methoxybenzenesulfonamide, monohydrochloride. Tamsulosin hydrochloride, USP is a white crystalline powder that melts with decomposition at approximately 230°C. It is sparingly soluble in water and methanol, slightly soluble in glacial acetic acid and ethanol, and practically insoluble in ether. The molecular formula of tamsulosin hydrochloride is C20H28N2O5S HCl. The molecular weight of tamsulosin hydrochloride is 444.98. Its structural formula is:. Each tamsulosin hydrochloride capsule intended for oral administration contains tamsulosin hydrochloride 0.4 mg. In addition, each capsule contains the following inactive ingredients: black iron oxide, D&C yellow # 10, FD&C blue # 1, FD&C red # 40, FD&C yellow # 6, gelatin, methacrylic acid copolymer dispersion, microcrystalline cellulose, polysorbate 80, talc, titanium dioxide, triacetin and yellow iron oxide. The capsule is printed with black pharmaceutical ink which contains black iron oxide as a coloring agent. The product meets USP Dissolution Test 8."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Dofetilide capsules are indicated for the maintenance of normal sinus rhythm (delay in time to recurrence of atrial fibrillation/atrial flutter [AF/AFl]) in patients with atrial fibrillation/atrial flutter of greater than one week duration who have been converted to normal sinus rhythm. Because dofetilide can cause life threatening ventricular arrhythmias, it should be reserved for patients in whom atrial fibrillation/atrial flutter is highly symptomatic. In general, antiarrhythmic therapy for atrial fibrillation/atrial flutter aims to prolong the time in normal sinus rhythm. Recurrence is expected in some patients (see CLINICAL STUDIES).",
"Description": "Dofetilide is an antiarrhythmic drug with Class III (cardiac action potential duration prolonging) properties. Its empirical formula is C 19H 27N 3O 5S 2 and it has a molecular weight of 441.6. The structural formula is. The chemical name for dofetilide is. N-[4-[2-[methyl[2-[4-[(methylsulfonyl) amino] phenoxy] ethyl] amino] ethyl] phenyl]‑methanesulfonamide. Dofetilide is a white to off-white powder. It is very slightly soluble in water and propan‑2‑ol and is soluble in 0.1M aqueous sodium hydroxide, acetone, and aqueous 0.1M hydrochloric acid. Dofetilide capsules contain the following inactive ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, corn starch, colloidal silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate. The capsule shells contain gelatin, titanium dioxide, FD&C yellow 6 and black imprint ink. The black imprint ink contains shellac, alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, butyl alcohol, propylene glycol, ammonia solution, black iron oxide and potassium hydroxide. Dofetilide capsules are supplied for oral administration in three dosage strengths: 125 mcg (0.125 mg) orange and white capsules, 250 mcg (0.25 mg) peach capsules, and 500 mcg (0.5 mg) peach and white capsules."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Propafenone hydrochloride extended-release capsules is indicated to prolong the time to recurrence of symptomatic atrial fibrillation (AF) in patients with episodic (most likely paroxysmal or persistent) AF who do not have structural heart disease. Usage Considerations: 1 The use of propafenone hydrochloride extended-release capsules in patients with permanent AF or in patients exclusively with atrial flutter or paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT) has not been evaluated. Do not use propafenone hydrochloride extended-release capsules to control ventricular rate during AF.",
"Description": "Propafenone hydrochloride extended-release capsules, USP is an antiarrhythmic drug supplied in extended-release capsules of 225, 325 and 425 mg for oral administration. Chemically, propafenone hydrochloride is 2′-[2-hydroxy-3-(propylamino)propoxy]-3-phenylpropiophenone hydrochloride, with a molecular weight of 377.92. The molecular formula is C21H27NO3HCl. Propafenone HCl has some structural similarities to beta-blocking agents. The structural formula of propafenone HCl is given below. Propafenone Hydrochloride, USP occurs as colorless crystals or white crystalline powder with a very bitter taste. It is slightly soluble in water (20°C), chloroform, and ethanol. Propafenone hydrochloride extended-release capsules, USP are filled with round 2 mm mini-tablets containing propafenone hydrochloride, USP and the following inactive ingredients: hypromellose, magnesium stearate, titanium dioxide, gelatin, shellac, dehydrated alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, butyl alcohol, propylene glycol, strong ammonia solution, FD&C Blue 1 and FD&C Red 3 (225 mg and 325 mg only). The 225 mg and 325 mg capsule also contains FD&C Yellow No. 5 (tartrazine) as a color additive. Meets USP Dissolution Test #4."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Metoprolol tartrate tablets, USP are indicated for the treatment of hypertension. They may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents.",
"Description": "Metoprolol tartrate USP is a selective beta1-adrenoreceptor blocking agent, available as 25 and 50 mg tablets for oral administration. Metoprolol tartrate is (±)-1-(isopropylamino)-3-[p-(2-methoxyethyl)phenoxy]-2-propanol (2:1) dextro-tartrate salt. Its structural formula is. Metoprolol tartrate USP is a white, practically odorless, crystalline powder with a molecular weight of 684.82. It is very soluble in water; freely soluble in methylene chloride, in chloroform, and in alcohol; slightly soluble in acetone; and insoluble in ether.Each tablet for oral administration contains 25 mg or 50 mg of metoprolol tartrate.The tablets contain the following inactive ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, corn starch, sodium starch glycollate, colloidal silicon dioxide, sodium lauryl sulfate, talc, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, polyethylene glycol and polysorbate 80. "IndicationAndUsage": "Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride tablets, USP are indicated as an adjunct to rest and physical therapy for relief of muscle spasm associated with acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions. Improvement is manifested by relief of muscle spasm and its associated signs and symptoms, namely, pain, tenderness, limitation of motion, and restriction in activities of daily living. Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride tablets, USP should be used only for short periods (up to two or three weeks) because adequate evidence of effectiveness for more prolonged use is not available and because muscle spasm associated with acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions is generally of short duration and specific therapy for longer periods is seldom warranted. Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride tablets, USP has not been found effective in the treatment of spasticity associated with cerebral or spinal cord disease, or in children with cerebral palsy.",
"Description": "Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride, USP is a white to off-white crystalline powder with the molecular formula C20H21NHCl and a molecular weight of 311.9. It has a melting point of 217° C, and a pKa of 8.47 at 25° C. It is freely soluble in water, in alcohol and in methanol, sparingly soluble in isopropanol, slightly soluble in chloroform and in methylene chloride and insoluble in hydrocarbons. If aqueous solutions are made alkaline, the free base separates. Cyclobenzaprine HCl is designated chemically as 3-(5H-dibenzo[a,d] cyclohepten-5-ylidene)-N, N-dimethyl-1-propanamine hydrochloride, and has the following structural formula. Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride tablets, USP are supplied as a 7.5 mg tablets for oral administration. Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride 7.5 mg tablets contain the following inactive ingredients: corn starch, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, polyethylene glycol, pregelatinized starch, talc and titanium dioxide."
