The chemical name for levalbuterol HCl is (R)-α1-[[(1,1 dimethylethyl)amino]methyl]-4-hydroxy-1,3-benzenedimethanol hydrochloride, and its established chemical structure is as follows. The molecular weight of levalbuterol HCl is 275.8, and its molecular formula is C13H21NO3HCl. It is a white to off-white, crystalline solid, with a melting point of approximately 187°C and solubility of approximately 180 mg/mL in water. Levalbuterol HCl is the USAN modified name for (R)-albuterol HCl in the United States. Levalbuterol inhalation solution, USP is supplied in unit-dose vials and requires no dilution before administration by nebulization. Each 3 mL unit-dose vial contains 0.31 mg of levalbuterol (as 0.36 mg of levalbuterol HCl, USP) or 0.63 mg of levalbuterol (as 0.73 mg of levalbuterol HCl, USP) or 1.25 mg of levalbuterol (as 1.44 mg of levalbuterol HCl, USP), sodium chloride to adjust tonicity, 0.30 mg of edetate disodium and sulfuric acid to adjust the pH to 4.0 (3.3 to 4.5)."

It is a white crystalline powder that is freely soluble in 96 percent ethanol, soluble in water, and slightly soluble in chloroform or acetone. It has the following structural formula. Bupivacaine hydrochloride is a clear and colorless sterile isotonic solution. Each mL of multiple-dose vial contains 2.5 mg or 5 mg of bupivacaine hydrochloride (equivalent to 2.22 mg or 4.44 mg of bupivacaine, respectively), sodium chloride for isotonicity, sodium hydroxide or hydrochloric acid to adjust the pH between 4 and 6.5, in water for injection. For the Multiple-dose vials, each mL also contains 1 mg methylparaben as preservative.

<IndicationAndUsage>ADAKVEO® is indicated to reduce the frequency of vaso-occlusive crises (VOCs) in adults and pediatric patients aged 16 years and older with sickle cell disease.</IndicationAndUsage>

Crizanlizumab-tmca is a P-selectin blocker humanized IgG2 kappa monoclonal antibody that binds to P-selectin. Crizanlizumab-tmca is produced using recombinant DNA technology in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells. It is composed of 2 heavy chains, each containing 448 amino acids, and 2 light chains each containing 218 amino acids, with a theoretical molecular weight of approximately 146 kDa. ADAKVEO (crizanlizumab-tmca) injection is supplied as a sterile, preservative-free, clear to opalescent, colorless to slightly brownish-yellow solution for dilution and subsequent administration by intravenous infusion. Each 10 mL vial contains 100 mg crizanlizumab-tmca, citric acid (5.4 mg), polysorbate 80 (2 mg), sodium citrate (50.5 mg), sucrose (753.3 mg), and water for injection with a pH of 6.

<IndicationAndUsage>Clariscan is a gadolinium-based contrast agent indicated for intravenous use with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in brain (intracranial), spine and associated tissues in adult and pediatric patients (including term neonates) to detect and visualize areas with disruption of the blood brain barrier (BBB) and/or abnormal vascularity.</IndicationAndUsage>

Clariscan (gadoterate meglumine) is a paramagnetic macrocyclic ionic contrast agent administered for magnetic resonance imaging. The chemical name for gadoterate meglumine is D-glucitol, 1-deoxy-1-(methylamino)-, [1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7,10-tetraaceto(4-)-.kappa.N1, .kappa.N4, .kappa.N7, .kappa.N10, .kappa.O1, .kappa.O4, .kappa.O7, .kappa.O10]gadolinate(1-)(1:1); it has a formula weight of 753.9 g/mol and empirical formula of C23H42O13N5Gd (anhydrous basis). The structural formula of gadoterate meglumine in solution is as follows. CAS Registry No. 92943-93-6. Clariscan Injection is a sterile, nonpyrogenic, clear, colorless to yellow, aqueous solution of 0.5 mmol/mL of gadoterate meglumine. Each +PlusPak polymer bottle contains 50 mmol per 100 mL. No preservative is added. Each mL of Clariscan contains 376.9 mg of gadoterate meglumine, 0.25 mg of DOTA and water for injection. Clariscan has a pH of 6.5 to 8.0. The main physiochemical properties of Clariscan are provided below. The thermodynamic stability constants for gadoterate (log Ktherm and log Kcond at pH 7.4) are 25.6 and 19.3, respectively.

<IndicationAndUsage>Haloperidol tablets, USP are indicated for use in the management of manifestations of psychotic disorders. Haloperidol tablets, USP are indicated for the control of tics and vocal utterances of Tourette’s Disorder in children and adults. Haloperidol tablets, USP are effective for the treatment of severe behavior problems in children of combative, explosive hyperexcitability (which cannot be accounted for by immediate provocation). Haloperidol tablets, USP are also effective in the short-term treatment of hyperactive children who show excessive motor activity with accompanying conduct disorders consisting of some or all of the following symptoms: impulsivity, difficulty sustaining attention, aggressivity, mood lability, and poor frustration tolerance. Haloperidol tablets, USP should be reserved for these two groups of children only after failure to respond to psychotherapy or medications other than antipsychotics.</IndicationAndUsage>

Haloperidol is the first of the butyrophenone series of major tranquilizers. The chemical designation is 4-[4-(p-chloro-phenyl)-4-hydroxypiperidino]-4’—fluorobutyrophenone and it has the following structural formula. Haloperidol is supplied as tablets for oral administration containing 0.5 mg, 1 mg, 2 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg or 20 mg of haloperidol, USP and contains the following inactive ingredients: magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch. In addition, the 1 mg, 5 mg and 10 mg tablets contain D&C Yellow No. 10 Aluminum Lake. The 5 mg and 10 mg tablets contain FD&C Blue No. 1 Aluminum Lake, 20 mg tablets contain FD&C Red No. 40 Aluminum Lake.
