Liraglutide is made by attaching a C-16 fatty acid (palmitic acid) with a glutamic acid spacer on the remaining lysine residue at position 26 of the peptide precursor. The molecular formula of liraglutide is C172H265N43O51 and the molecular weight is 3751.2 Daltons. The structural formula (Figure 1) is. Figure 1. Structural Formula of liraglutide. Liraglutide injection is a sterile, aqueous, clear, colorless or almost colorless solution for subcutaneous use. Each 1 mL of liraglutide injection solution contains 6 mg of liraglutide and the following inactive ingredients: sodium citrate dihydrate, 1.47 mg; propylene glycol, 14 mg; phenol, 5.5 mg; and water for injection. Liraglutide injection has a pH of approximately 8.15, hydrochloric acid or sodium hydroxide may be added to adjust pH. <IndicationAndUsage>Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride tablets, USP is indicated as an adjunct to rest and physical therapy for relief of muscle spasm associated with acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions. Improvement is manifested by relief of muscle spasm and its associated signs and symptoms, namely, pain, tenderness, limitation of motion, and restriction in activities of daily living. Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride tablets, USP should be used only for short periods (up to two or three weeks) because adequate evidence of effectiveness for more prolonged use is not available and because muscle spasm associated with acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions is generally of short duration and specific therapy for longer periods is seldom warranted. Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride tablets, USP have not been found effective in the treatment of spasticity associated with cerebral or spinal cord disease, or in children with cerebral palsy.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride is a white, crystalline tricyclic amine salt with the empirical formula C20H21N HCl and a molecular weight of 311.9.
