"IndicationAndUsage": "Non-Standardized Allergenic Extracts are indicated for. : 1 Skin test diagnosis of patients with a clinical history of allergies to one or more of the specific non-standardized allergens., 2 Immunotherapy for the reduction of allergen-induced allergic symptoms confirmed by appropriate positive skin tests or by in vitro testing for allergen-specific IgE antibodies. .",
"Description": "Non-Standardized Allergenic Extracts are sterile solutions used for percutaneous testing, intradermal testing, or subcutaneous immunotherapy. Aqueous extracts contain the soluble extractants of the source material in water for injection, 0.5% sodium chloride, 0.54% sodium bicarbonate, and 0.4% phenol. Glycerinated extracts contain the soluable extractants of the source material in water for injection and 50% glycerin, 0.25% sodium chloride, 0.27% sodium bicarbonate, and 0.2% phenol. The pH of the extracts range from 6 to 9. Certain food extracts (Barley, Oat, Pineapple, Rye, Spinach, and Wheat), labeled “For Diagnostic Use Only”, contain 0.1% sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate as an antioxidant. Source materials used in the manufacture of allergenic extracts are collected from natural sources or from laboratory cultures. Non-Standardized Allergenic Extracts appear as clear and colorless to dark brown solutions that should be free of particulate matter. Extracts are labeled either as weight-to-volume based on the weight of the source material to the volume of the extracting fluid, or as PNU/milliliter with one PNU representing 0.00001 mg of protein nitrogen per milliliter."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Allergenic extracts are indicated for use in diagnostic testing and as part of a treatment regime for allergic disease, as established by allergy history and skin test reactivity. Allergenic extracts are indicated for the treatment of allergen specific allergic disease for use as hyposensitization or immunotherapy when avoidance of specific allergens can not be attained. The use of allergenic extracts for therapeutic purpose has been established by well-controlled clinical studies. Allergenic extracts may be used as adjunctive therapy along with pharmacotherapy which includes antihistamines, corticosteroids, and cromoglycate, and avoidance measures. Allergenic extracts for therapeutic use should be given using only the allergen selection to which the patient is allergic, has a history of exposure and are likely to be exposed to again.",
"Description": "Allergenic extracts are sterile solutions consisting of the extractable components from various biological sources including pollens, inhalants, molds, animal epidermals and insects. Aqueous extracts are prepared using cocas fluid containing NaCl 0.5%, NaHCO3 0.0275%, WFI, preservative 0.4% Phenol. Glycerinated allergenic extracts are prepared with cocas fluid and glycerin to produce a 50% (v/v) allergenic extract. Allergenic Extracts are supplied as concentrations designated as protein nitrogen units (PNU) or weight/volume (w/v) ratio. Standardized extracts are designated in Bioequivalent Allergy Units (BAU) or Allergy Units (AU). (See product insert for standardized extracts). For diagnostic purposes, allergenic extracts are to be administered by prick-puncture or intradermal routes. Allergenic extracts are administered subcutaneously for immunotherapy injections."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Lidocaine Hydrochloride and Epinephrine Injection, USP is indicated for production of local or regional anesthesia by infiltration techniques such as percutaneous injection, by peripheral nerve block techniques such as brachial plexus and intercostal and by central neural techniques such as lumbar and caudal epidural blocks, when the accepted procedures for these techniques as described in standard textbooks are observed.",
"Description": "Lidocaine Hydrochloride and Epinephrine Injection, USP is a sterile, nonpyrogenic solution of lidocaine hydrochloride and epinephrine in water for injection for parenteral administration in various concentrations with characteristics as follows. Sodium metabisulfite 0.5 mg/mL and citric acid, anhydrous 0.2 mg/mL added as stabilizers. The headspace of Lists 1209, 3177, 3178, 3181, 3182 and 3183 are nitrogen gassed. May contain sodium hydroxide and/or hydrochloric acid to adjust pH; pH is 4.5 (3.3 to 5.5). See HOW SUPPLIED section for various sizes and strengths. Multiple-dose vials contain methylparaben 1 mg/mL added as preservative. Single-dose ampuls and vials contain no bacteriostat or antimicrobial agent. Discard unused portion. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic of the amide type. Lidocaine Hydrochloride, USP is chemically designated 2-(diethyl-amino)-2',6'-acetoxylidide monohydrochloride monohydrate, a white powder freely soluble in water. It has the following structural formula. Epinephrine, USP is a sympathomimetic (adrenergic) agent designated chemically as 4-[1-hydroxy-2 (methylamino) ethyl]-1,2 benzenediol, a white, microcrystalline powder. It has the following structural formula."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Topiramate is indicated for: 1 Epilepsy: initial monotherapy for the treatment of partial-onset or primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures in patients 2 years of age and older (1.1); adjunctive therapy for the treatment of partial-onset seizures, primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures, or seizures associated with Lennox- Gastaut syndrome in patients 2 years of age and older (1.2), 2 Preventive treatment of migraine in patients 12 years of age and older (1.3).",
"Description": "Topiramate is a sulfamate-substituted monosaccharide. Topiramate tablets are available as 25 mg, 50 mg, 100 mg, and 200 mg round tablets for oral administration. Topiramate is a white crystalline powder with a bitter taste. Topiramate USP is most soluble in alkaline solutions containing sodium hydroxide or sodium phosphate and having a pH of 9 to 10. It is freely soluble in acetone, chloroform, dimethylsulfoxide, and ethanol. The solubility in water is 9.8 mg/mL. Its saturated solution has a pH of 6.3. Topiramate has the molecular formula C 12H 21NO 8S and a molecular weight of 339.37. Topiramate is designated chemically as 2,3:4,5-Di- O-isopropylidene-β-D-fructopyranose sulfamate and has the following structural formula: Topiramate tablets, USP contain the following inactive ingredients: anhydrous lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized maize starch, sodium starch glycolate type A potato, magnesium stearate, polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide, polyethylene glycol and talc. In addition, individual tablets contain: 50 mg tablets: iron oxide yellow 100 mg tablets: iron oxide yellow, and D&C Yellow # 10 Aluminum Lake 200 mg tablets: iron oxide red, lecithin (soya), and iron oxide black."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Non-Standardized Allergenic Extracts are indicated for. : 1 Skin test diagnosis of patients with a clinical history of allergies to one or more of the specific non-standardized allergens., 2 Immunotherapy for the reduction of allergen-induced allergic symptoms confirmed by appropriate positive skin tests or by in vitro testing for allergen-specific IgE antibodies. .",
"Description": "Non-Standardized Allergenic Extracts are sterile solutions used for percutaneous testing, intradermal testing, or subcutaneous immunotherapy. Aqueous extracts contain the soluble extractants of the source material in water for injection, 0.5% sodium chloride, 0.54% sodium bicarbonate, and 0.4% phenol. Glycerinated extracts contain the soluable extractants of the source material in water for injection and 50% glycerin, 0.25% sodium chloride, 0.27% sodium bicarbonate, and 0.2% phenol. The pH of the extracts range from 6 to 9. Certain food extracts (Barley, Oat, Pineapple, Rye, Spinach, and Wheat), labeled “For Diagnostic Use Only”, contain 0.1% sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate as an antioxidant. Source materials used in the manufacture of allergenic extracts are collected from natural sources or from laboratory cultures. Non-Standardized Allergenic Extracts appear as clear and colorless to dark brown solutions that should be free of particulate matter. Extracts are labeled either as weight-to-volume based on the weight of the source material to the volume of the extracting fluid, or as PNU/milliliter with one PNU representing 0.00001 mg of protein nitrogen per milliliter."

"IndicationAndUsage": "IMOVAX RABIES is a vaccine indicated for the prevention of rabies in all age groups. : 1 IMOVAX RABIES is approved for pre-exposure prophylaxis to prevent rabies., 2 IMOVAX RABIES is approved for post-exposure prophylaxis to prevent rabies.",
"Description": "IMOVAX RABIES (Rabies Vaccine) is a sterile, injectable suspension for intramuscular use. IMOVAX RABIES is supplied as a vial of lyophilized vaccine which must be reconstituted with the accompanying Sterile Water diluent. The vaccine is prepared from rabies vaccine virus strain PM-1503-3M. The vaccine virus is harvested from infected human diploid cells, MRC-5 cell line, concentrated by ultrafiltration and is inactivated by beta-propiolactone. One dose of reconstituted vaccine contains less than 100 mg human albumin, less than 150 mcg neomycin sulfate and 20 mcg of phenol red indicator. Beta-propiolactone, a residual component of the manufacturing process, is present in less than 50 parts per million. IMOVAX RABIES contains no preservative. The potency of one dose (1 mL) of IMOVAX RABIES is equal to or greater than 2.5 international units (IU) of rabies antigen. The vial stopper, the plunger rod and the tip cap of the syringe are not made with natural rubber latex."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Lidocaine Hydrochloride and Epinephrine Injection, USP is indicated for production of local or regional anesthesia by infiltration techniques such as percutaneous injection, by peripheral nerve block techniques such as brachial plexus and intercostal and by central neural techniques such as lumbar and caudal epidural blocks, when the accepted procedures for these techniques as described in standard textbooks are observed.",
"Description": "Lidocaine Hydrochloride and Epinephrine Injection, USP is a sterile, nonpyrogenic solution of lidocaine hydrochloride and epinephrine in water for injection for parenteral administration in various concentrations with characteristics as follows. Sodium metabisulfite 0.5 mg/mL and citric acid, anhydrous 0.2 mg/mL added as stabilizers. The headspace of Lists 1209, 3177, 3178, 3181, 3182 and 3183 are nitrogen gassed. May contain sodium hydroxide and/or hydrochloric acid to adjust pH; pH is 4.5 (3.3 to 5.5). See HOW SUPPLIED section for various sizes and strengths. Multiple-dose vials contain methylparaben 1 mg/mL added as preservative. Single-dose ampuls and vials contain no bacteriostat or antimicrobial agent. Discard unused portion. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic of the amide type. Lidocaine Hydrochloride, USP is chemically designated 2-(diethyl-amino)-2',6'-acetoxylidide monohydrochloride monohydrate, a white powder freely soluble in water. It has the following structural formula. Epinephrine, USP is a sympathomimetic (adrenergic) agent designated chemically as 4-[1-hydroxy-2 (methylamino) ethyl]-1,2 benzenediol, a white, microcrystalline powder. "Description": "Duloxetine hydrochloride USP is a selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) for oral administration. Its chemical designation is (+)-(S)-N-methyl-γ-(1-naphthyloxy)-2-thiophenepropylamine hydrochloride. The molecular formula is C18H19NOSHCl, which corresponds to a molecular weight of 333.88. The structural formula is:. Duloxetine hydrochloride USP is a white to brownish-white solid, which is slightly soluble in water. Each capsule contains enteric-coated pellets of 20, 30, 40 or 60 mg of duloxetine hydrochloride USP (equivalent to 22.4, 33.7, 44.9 or 67.3 mg of duloxetine, respectively). These enteric-coated pellets are designed to prevent degradation of the drug in the acidic environment of the stomach. Inactive ingredients include sugar spheres, hypromellose, sucrose, talc, methacrylic acid copolymer dispersion, and triethyl citrate. The capsule shell contains gelatin, FD&C Red No. 3 (40 mg), FD&C Blue No. 1 (40 mg), FD&C Blue No. 2 (20 mg, 30 mg, 60 mg), titanium dioxide, and sodium lauryl sulfate. For 20 mg, 30 mg, 40 mg (body & cap) and 60 mg (body only) strengths, imprinting black ink contains shellac, dehydrated alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, butyl alcohol, propylene glycol, strong ammonia solution, black iron oxide, potassium hydroxide and purified water. For 60 mg (cap only) strength, imprinting white ink contains shellac, dehydrated alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, butyl alcohol, propylene glycol, strong ammonia solution, purified water, potassium hydroxide, and titanium dioxide.
