"IndicationAndUsage": "Allergenic extracts are indicated for use in diagnostic testing and as part of a treatment regime for allergic disease, as established by allergy history and skin test reactivity. Allergenic extracts are indicated for the treatment of allergen specific allergic disease for use as hyposensitization or immunotherapy when avoidance of specific allergens can not be attained. The use of allergenic extracts for therapeutic purpose has been established by well-controlled clinical studies. Allergenic extracts may be used as adjunctive therapy along with pharmacotherapy which includes antihistamines, corticosteroids, and cromoglycate, and avoidance measures. Allergenic extracts for therapeutic use should be given using only the allergen selection to which the patient is allergic, has a history of exposure and are likely to be exposed to again.",

Aqueous extracts are prepared using cocas fluid containing NaCl 0.5%, NaHCO3 0.0275%, WFI, preservative 0.4% Phenol. Glycerinated allergenic extracts are prepared with cocas fluid and glycerin to produce a 50% (v/v) allergenic extract. Allergenic Extracts are supplied as concentrations designated as protein nitrogen units (PNU) or weight/volume (w/v) ratio. Standardized extracts are designated in Bioequivalent Allergy Units (BAU) or Allergy Units (AU). (See product insert for standardized extracts). For diagnostic purposes, allergenic extracts are to be administered by prick-puncture or intradermal routes. Allergenic extracts are administered subcutaneously for immunotherapy injections."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Levocetirizine dihydrochloride tablets are a histamine H1-receptor antagonist indicated for: 1 The relief of symptoms associated with perennial allergic rhinitis (1.1), 2 The treatment of the uncomplicated skin manifestations of chronic idiopathic urticaria (1.2).",
"Description": "Levocetirizine dihydrochloride, the active component of levocetirizine dihydrochloride tablets, USP is an orally active H1-receptor antagonist. The chemical name is [2-[4-[(R)-(4-chlorophenyl)-phenylmethyl]piperazin-1-yl]ethoxy]acetic acid dihydrochloride. Levocetirizine dihydrochloride is the R enantiomer of cetirizine hydrochloride, a racemic compound with antihistaminic properties. The molecular formula of levocetirizine dihydrochloride is C21H25ClN2O32HCl. The molecular weight is 461.82 g/mol and the chemical structure is shown below. Levocetirizine dihydrochloride is a white to off-white, powder, freely soluble in water and in methanol. Levocetirizine dihydrochloride 5 mg tablets, USP are formulated as immediate release, white to off-white, oval-shaped, biconvex coated, scored tablets for oral administration. Inactive ingredients are: croscarmellose sodium, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate and microcrystalline cellulose. The film coating contains hypromellose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, polyethylene glycol, and titanium dioxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) indicated for: 1 Treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions. ( 1.1) .",
"Description": "Telmisartan tablets USP is a non-peptide angiotensin II receptor (type AT 1) antagonist. Telmisartan is chemically described as 4'-[(1,4'-dimethyl-2'-propyl [2,6'-bi-1H-benzimidazol]-1'-yl)methyl]-[1,1'-biphenyl]-2-carboxylic acid. Its empirical formula is C 33H 30N 4O 2, its molecular weight is 514.63, and its structural formula is:. Telmisartan USP is a white to slightly yellowish solid. It is practically insoluble in water and in the pH range of 3 to 9, sparingly soluble in strong acid (except insoluble in hydrochloric acid), and soluble in strong base. Telmisartan is available as tablets for oral administration, containing 20 mg, 40 mg or 80 mg of telmisartan USP. The tablets contain the following inactive ingredients: magnesium stearate, mannitol, meglumine, povidone, sodium hydroxide and sodium streayl fumarate. Telmisartan tablets USP are hygroscopic and require protection from moisture."

To reduce the risk of. ○ Myocardial infarction (MI), stroke, revascularization procedures, and angina in adults with multiple risk factors for coronary heart disease (CHD) but without clinically evident CHD. ○ MI and stroke in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus with multiple risk factors for CHD but without clinically evident CHD. ○ Non-fatal MI, fatal and non-fatal stroke, revascularization procedures, hospitalization for congestive heart failure, and angina in adults with clinically evident CHD. "IndicationAndUsage": "Atorvastatin calcium tablets are indicated. To reduce the risk of. ○ Myocardial infarction (MI), stroke, revascularization procedures, and angina in adults with multiple risk factors for coronary heart disease (CHD) but without clinically evident CHD. ○ MI and stroke in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus with multiple risk factors for CHD but without clinically evident CHD. ○ Non-fatal MI, fatal and non-fatal stroke, revascularization procedures, hospitalization for congestive heart failure, and angina in adults with clinically evident CHD. As an adjunct to diet to reduce low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) in. ○ Adults with primary hyperlipidemia. ○ Adults and pediatric patients aged 10 years and older with heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HeFH). As an adjunct to other LDL-C-lowering therapies, or alone if such treatments are unavailable, to reduce LDL-C in adults and pediatric patients aged 10 years and older with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HoFH). As an adjunct to diet for the treatment of adults with. ○ Primary dysbetalipoproteinemia. ○ Hypertriglyceridemia.",
"Description": "Atorvastatin is an inhibitor of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-coenzyme A (HMG-CoA) reductase. Atorvastatin calcium USP is [R-(R*, R*)]-2-(4-fluorophenyl)-ß,δ-dihydroxy-5-(1-methylethyl)-3-phenyl-4-[(phenylamino)carbonyl]-1H-pyrrole-1-heptanoic acid, calcium salt (2:1) trihydrate. The empirical formula of atorvastatin calcium is (C33H34FN2O5)2Ca3H2O and its molecular weight is 1209.42. Its structural formula is. Atorvastatin calcium USP is a white to off-white crystalline powder that is insoluble in aqueous solutions of pH 4 and below. Atorvastatin calcium is very slightly soluble in distilled water, pH 7.4 phosphate buffer, and acetonitrile; slightly soluble in ethanol; and freely soluble in methanol. Atorvastatin Calcium Tablets, USP for oral administration contain 10 mg, 20 mg, 40 mg, or 80 mg atorvastatin and the following inactive ingredients: calcium carbonate, croscarmellose sodium, hydroxypropyl cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, Opadry White YS-1-7040 (hypromellose, polyethylene glycol, talc, titanium dioxide) and polysorbate 80. Atorvastatin Calcium Tablets, USP meets the requirements of USP dissolution Test 5."
