"IndicationAndUsage": "Prednisolone sodium phosphate oral solution is indicated in the following conditions:.",
"Description": "Prednisolone Sodium Phosphate Oral Solution is a dye free, pale to light yellow solution. Each 5 mL (teaspoonful) of Prednisolone Sodium Phosphate Oral Solution contains 20.2 mg prednisolone sodium phosphate (15 mg prednisolone base) in a palatable, aqueous vehicle. Inactive ingredients: Prednisolone Sodium Phosphate Oral Solution equivalent to 15 mg prednisolone per 5 mL contains the following inactive ingredients: anti-bitter mask, edetate disodium, glycerin, grape flavor, high fructose corn syrup, hydroxyethylcellulose, methylparaben, potassium phosphate dibasic, potassium phosphate monobasic, purified water, and saccharin sodium. Prednisolone sodium phosphate occurs as white or slightly yellow, friable granules or powder. It is freely soluble in water; soluble in methanol; slightly soluble in alcohol and in chloroform; and very slightly soluble in acetone and in dioxane. The chemical name of prednisolone sodium phosphate is: pregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione,11,17-dihydroxy-21-(phosphonooxy)-,disodium salt, (11β)-. The empirical formula is C21H27Na2O8P; the molecular weight is 484.39. Its chemical structure is. Pharmacological Category: Glucocorticoid."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Ondansetron Injection is a 5-HT3 receptor antagonist indicated for the prevention of: 1 nausea and vomiting associated with initial and repeat courses of emetogenic cancer chemotherapy. (1.1), 2 postoperative nausea and/or vomiting. (1.2).",
"Description": "The active ingredient of Ondansetron Injection, USP is ondansetron hydrochloride, a selective blocking agent of the serotonin 5-HT3 receptor type. Its chemical name is (±) 1, 2, 3, 9‑ tetrahydro-9-methyl-3-[(2-methyl-1H-imidazol-1-yl)methyl]-4H-carbazol-4-one, monohydrochloride, dihydrate. It has the following structural formula. The empirical formula is C18H19N3O∙HCl∙2H2O, representing a molecular weight of 365.9 g/mol. Ondansetron HCl is a white to off-white powder that is soluble in water and normal saline. Each 1 mL of aqueous solution in the 2-mL single-dose vial contains 2 mg of ondansetron as the hydrochloride dihydrate; 9 mg of sodium chloride, USP; and 0.46 mg of citric acid anhydrous, USP and 0.25 mg of sodium citrate dihydrate, USP as buffers in Water for Injection, USP. Each 1 mL of aqueous solution in the 20-mL multiple-dose vial contains 2 mg of ondansetron as the hydrochloride dihydrate; 8.3 mg of sodium chloride, USP; 0.46 mg of citric acid anhydrous, USP and 0.25 mg of sodium citrate dihydrate, USP as buffers; and 1.2 mg of methylparaben, NF and 0.15 mg of propylparaben, NF as preservatives in Water for Injection, USP. Ondansetron Injection, USP is a clear, colorless, nonpyrogenic, sterile solution for intravenous or intramuscular use. The pH of the injection solution is 3.3 to 4.0."

"IndicationAndUsage": "CONCERTA® is indicated for the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in children 6 years of age and older, adolescents, and adults up to the age of 65 [see Clinical Studies (14)]. A diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD; DSM-IV) implies the presence of hyperactive-impulsive or inattentive symptoms that caused impairment and were present before age 7 years. The symptoms must cause clinically significant impairment, e.g., in social, academic, or occupational functioning, and be present in two or more settings, e.g., school (or work) and at home. The symptoms must not be better accounted for by another mental disorder. For the Inattentive Type, at least six of the following symptoms must have persisted for at least 6 months: lack of attention to details/careless mistakes; lack of sustained attention; poor listener; failure to follow through on tasks; poor organization; avoids tasks requiring sustained mental effort; loses things; easily distracted; forgetful. For the Hyperactive-Impulsive Type, at least six of the following symptoms must have persisted for at least 6 months: fidgeting/squirming; leaving seat; inappropriate running/climbing; difficulty with quiet activities; \"on the go;\" excessive talking; blurting answers; can't wait turn; intrusive. The Combined Type requires both inattentive and hyperactive-impulsive criteria to be met.",

"IndicationAndUsage": "Divalproex sodium delayed-release capsules are an anti-epileptic drug indicated for: 1 Monotherapy and adjunctive therapy of complex partial seizures and simple and complex absence seizures; adjunctive therapy in patients with multiple seizure types that include absence seizures (1).",
"Description": "Divalproex sodium is a stable co-ordination compound comprised of sodium valproate and valproic acid in a 1:1 molar relationship. Chemically it is designated as sodium hydrogen bis(2-propylpentanoate). Divalproex sodium has the following structure. Divalproex sodium, USP occurs as a white powder with a characteristic odor. Each divalproex sodium delayed-release capsules, USP intended for oral administration contains divalproex sodium equivalent to 125 mg of valproic acid. In addition, each capsule contains the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, FD &C blue # 1, gelatin, hypromellose, methacrylic acid copolymer dispersion, microcrystalline cellulose spheres, sodium lauryl sulfate, talc, titanium dioxide and triethyl citrate. Each capsule is printed with black pharmaceutical ink which contains: ammonia solution, butyl alcohol, dehydrated alcohol, ferrosoferric oxide, isopropyl alcohol, propylene glycol, potassium hydroxide, purified water and shellac. The Product meets USP Dissolution Test 4."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Metoprolol tartrate tablets, USP are indicated for the treatment of hypertension. They may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents.",
"Description": "Metoprolol tartrate USP is a selective beta 1-adrenoreceptor blocking agent, available as 25, 50 and 100 mg tablets for oral administration. Metoprolol tartrate is (±)-1-(isopropylamino)-3-[ p-(2-methoxyethyl)phenoxy]-2-propanol (2:1) dextro-tartrate salt. Its structural formula is:. Metoprolol tartrate USP is a white, practically odorless, crystalline powder with a molecular weight of 684.82. It is very soluble in water; freely soluble in methylene chloride, in chloroform, and in alcohol; slightly soluble in acetone; and insoluble in ether. Each tablet for oral administration contains 25 mg, 50 mg or 100 mg of metoprolol tartrate. The tablets contain the following inactive ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, corn starch, sodium starch glycollate, colloidal silicon dioxide, sodium lauryl sulfate, talc, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, polyethylene glycol and polysorbate 80. In addition, 50 mg tablet contains D&C Red #30 Aluminium Lake and 100 mg tablet contains FD&C Blue #2 Aluminium Lake as coloring agents."
