"IndicationAndUsage": "Mesalamine delayed-release capsules are an aminosalicylate indicated for: : 1 Treatment of mildly to moderately active ulcerative colitis in patients 5 years of age and older. (1.1) , 2 Maintenance of remission of ulcerative colitis in adults. (1.2) .",
"Description": "Each Mesalamine delayed-release capsule for oral administration contains four 100 mg tablets of mesalamine, USP an aminosalicylate. Mesalamine delayed-release capsules contain acrylic based resin, methacrylic acid copolymer (Eudragit S), which dissolves at pH 7 or greater and releases mesalamine in the terminal ileum and beyond for topical anti-inflammatory action in the colon. Mesalamine, USP (also referred to as 5-aminosalicylic acid or 5-ASA) has the chemical name 5-amino-2-hydroxybenzoic acid. Its structural formula is. C7H7NO3 M.W. 153.14. Inactive Ingredients: Each capsule contains colloidal silicon dioxide, dibutyl sebacate, hypromellose, iron oxide black, iron oxide red, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, methacrylic acid copolymer, polyethylene glycol, potassium hydroxide, povidone, propylene glycol, shellac, sodium starch glycolate (potato), strong ammonia solution and talc."

"Description": "Metformin hydrochloride extended-release tablets contain the biguanidine antihyperglycemic agent, metformin, in the form of monohydrochloride salt. The chemical name of metformin HCl is N, N-dimethylimidodicarbonimidic diamide hydrochloride with a molecular formula of C4H11N5HCl and a molecular weight of 165.63. Its structural formula is. Metformin HCl is a white to off-white crystalline powder that is freely soluble in water and is practically insoluble in acetone, ether, and chloroform. The pKa of metformin is 12.4. The pH of a 1% aqueous solution of metformin HCl is 6.68. Metformin hydrochloride extended-release tablets deliver 500 mg or 1,000 mg of metformin HCl, which is equivalent to 389.93 mg or 779.86 mg metformin, respectively. In addition to the active ingredient metformin HCl, each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: crospovidone, povidone (K-30, K-90), pregelatinised starch, magnesium stearate, sodium lauryl sulfate, hydroxypropyl cellulose, talc, cellulose acetate, polyethylene glycol (PEG 400, PEG 3350), triacetin, polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide, black iron oxide, propylene glycol and hypromellose. Canagliflozin is chemically known as (1S)-1,5-anhydro-1-[3-[[5-(4-fluorophenyl)-2-thienyl]methyl]-4-methylphenyl]-D-glucitol hemihydrate and its molecular formula and weight are C24H25FO5S∙1/2 H2O and 453.53, respectively. The structural formula for canagliflozin is. Canagliflozin is practically insoluble in aqueous media from pH 1.1 to 12.9. Metformin HCl. Metformin HCl is a biguanide chemically known as 1,1-Dimethylbiguanide HCl and its molecular formula and weight are C4H11N5 ∙ HCl and 165.62, respectively.
