"IndicationAndUsage": "Allergenic extracts are indicated for use in diagnostic testing and as part of a treatment regime for allergic disease, as established by allergy history and skin test reactivity. Allergenic extracts are indicated for the treatment of allergen specific allergic disease for use as hyposensitization or immunotherapy when avoidance of specific allergens can not be attained. The use of allergenic extracts for therapeutic purpose has been established by well-controlled clinical studies. Allergenic extracts may be used as adjunctive therapy along with pharmacotherapy which includes antihistamines, corticosteroids, and cromoglycate, and avoidance measures. Allergenic extracts for therapeutic use should be given using only the allergen selection to which the patient is allergic, has a history of exposure and are likely to be exposed to again.",
"Description": "Allergenic extracts are sterile solutions consisting of the extractable components from various biological sources including pollens, inhalants, molds, animal epidermals and insects. Aqueous extracts are prepared using cocas fluid containing NaCl 0.5%, NaHCO3 0.0275%, WFI, preservative 0.4% Phenol. Glycerinated allergenic extracts are prepared with cocas fluid and glycerin to produce a 50% (v/v) allergenic extract. Allergenic Extracts are supplied as concentrations designated as protein nitrogen units (PNU) or weight/volume (w/v) ratio. Standardized extracts are designated in Bioequivalent Allergy Units (BAU) or Allergy Units (AU). (See product insert for standardized extracts). For diagnostic purposes, allergenic extracts are to be administered by prick-puncture or intradermal routes. Allergenic extracts are administered subcutaneously for immunotherapy injections."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Perphenazine tablets, USP are indicated for use in the treatment of schizophrenia and for the control of severe nausea and vomiting in adults. Perphenazine tablets, USP have not been shown effective for the management of behavioral complications in patients with mental retardation.",
"Description": "Perphenazine (4-[3-(2-chlorophenothiazin-10-yl)propyl]-1-piperazineethanol), a piperazinyl phenothiazine, having the molecular formula, C21H26CIN3OS. It is available as oral tablets containing 2 mg, 4 mg, 8 mg, and 16 mg of perphenazine. Its structural formula is. Perphenazine is a white or yellowish-white crystalline powder. It is practically insoluble in water; freely soluble in alcohol and in chloroform; soluble in acetone. Each film-coated perphenazine tablet intended for oral administration contains 2 mg, 4 mg, 8 mg and 16 mg of perphenazine. In addition, each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: corn starch, hydroxypropyl cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate and microcrystalline cellulose. Additionally, each film-coated perphenazine tablet contains opadry II white 03B28796 which contains hypromellose, polyethylene glycol and titanium dioxide."

"Description": "The active ingredient in gabapentin tablets is gabapentin, which has the chemical name 1-(aminomethyl)cyclohexaneacetic acid. The molecular formula of gabapentin is C9H17NO2 and the molecular weight is 171.24. The structural formula of gabapentin is. Gabapentin is a white to off-white crystalline solid with a pKa1 of 3.7 and a pKa2 of 10.7. It is freely soluble in water and both basic and acidic aqueous solutions. The log of the partition coefficient (n-octanol/0.05M phosphate buffer) at pH 7.4 is –1.25. Each gabapentin tablet contains 600 mg or 800 mg of gabapentin and copovidone, hydroxyl propyl cellulose, magnesium stearate, mannitol, poloxamer, talc, low-substituted hydroxypropyl cellulose and opadry II (white). Opadry II (white) contains polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol, titanium dioxide, and talc."

"IndicationAndUsage": "ALDACTONE is an aldosterone antagonist indicated for: 1 The treatment of NYHA Class III–IV heart failure and reduced ejection fraction to increase survival, manage edema, and to reduce the need for hospitalization for heart failure (1.1)., 2 Use as an add-on therapy for the treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions (1.2)., 3 The management of edema in adult patients who are cirrhotic when edema is not responsive to fluid and sodium restrictions and in the setting of nephrotic syndrome when treatment of the underlying disease, restriction of fluid and sodium intake, and the use of other diuretics produce an inadequate response (1.3)., 4 Treatment of primary hyperaldosternism for: (1.4)oShort-term preoperative treatmentoLong-term maintenance for patients with discrete aldosterone-producing adrenal adenomas who are not candidates for surgery and patients with bilateral micro or macronodular adrenal hyperplasia.",
"Description": "ALDACTONE oral tablets contain 25 mg, 50 mg, or 100 mg of the aldosterone antagonist spironolactone, 17-hydroxy-7α-mercapto-3-oxo-17α-pregn-4-ene-21-carboxylic acid γ-lactone acetate, which has the following structural formula. Spironolactone is practically insoluble in water, soluble in alcohol, and freely soluble in benzene and in chloroform. Inactive ingredients include calcium sulfate, corn starch, flavor, hypromellose, iron oxide, magnesium stearate, polyethylene glycol, povidone, and titanium dioxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Irbesartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) indicated for: 1 Treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure. "Description": "Irbesartan is an angiotensin II receptor (AT 1subtype) antagonist. Irbesartan is a non-peptide compound, chemically described as a 2-butyl-3-[ p-( o-1 H-tetrazol-5-ylphenyl)benzyl]-1,3-diazaspiro[4.4]non-1-en-4-one. Its empirical formula is C 25H 28N 6O, and the structural formula:. Irbesartan is a white to off-white crystalline powder with a molecular weight of 428.5. It is a nonpolar compound with a partition coefficient (octanol/water) of 10.1 at pH of 7.4. Irbesartan is slightly soluble in alcohol and methylene chloride and practically insoluble in water. Irbesartan is available for oral administration in unscored, film-coated tablets containing 75 mg, 150 mg, or 300 mg of irbesartan. Inactive ingredients include: carnauba wax, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, silicon dioxide, and titanium dioxide."

"Description": "Amlodipine and benazepril hydrochloride capsules USP are combination of amlodipine besylate and benazepril hydrochloride. Benazepril hydrochloride USP is a white to off-white crystalline powder. Freely soluble in methanol and ethanol, soluble in Water. Benazepril hydrochloride’s chemical name is 3-[[1-(ethoxycarbonyl)-3-phenyl-(1S)- propyl]amino]-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-2-oxo-1H-1-(3S)-benzazepine-1-acetic acid monohydrochloride; its structural formula is. Its molecular formula is C24H28N205HCl, and its molecular weight is 460.96. Benazeprilat, the active metabolite of benazepril, is a nonsulfhydryl angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. Benazepril is converted to benazeprilat by hepatic cleavage of the ester group. Amlodipine besylate USP is a white or almost white powder. Freely soluble in methanol, sparingly soluble in ethanol, slightly soluble in water and in 2-proponal. Its chemical name is (R,S) 3-ethyl-5-methyl-2-(2-aminoethoxymethyl)-4-(2-chlorophenyl)-1,4- dihydro-6-methyl-3,5-pyridinedicarboxylate benzenesulfonate; its structural formula is. Its molecular formula is C20H25ClN205C6H603S, and its molecular weight is 567.1. Amlodipine besylate is the besylate salt of amlodipine, a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker. Amlodipine and benazepril hydrochloride capsules, USP are formulated in 6 different strengths for oral administration with a combination of amlodipine besylate equivalent to 2.5 mg, 5 mg or 10 mg of amlodipine, with 10 mg, 20 mg or 40 mg of benazepril hydrochloride providing for the following available combinations: 2.5 mg/10 mg, 5 mg/10 mg, 5 mg/20 mg,5 mg/40 mg, 10 mg/20 mg and 10 mg/40 mg. The inactive ingredients of the capsules are colloidal silicon dioxide, crospovidone, hydrogenated castor oil, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, sodium starch glycolate and talc. Each hard-gelatin capsule contains gelatin, sodium lauryl sulfate, titanium dioxide, D&C yellow # 10 and D&C red # 28, (5 mg/20 mg, 10 mg/40 mg), FD&C blue # 1 and FD&C red # 40 (5 mg/20 mg, 5 mg/40 mg), FD & C Yellow 6 (5 mg/40 mg), FD&C green # 3 (2.5 mg/10 mg), iron oxide black (10 mg/20 mg) and iron oxide red (5 mg/20 mg and 10 mg/20 mg ) as coloring agents."

Benazepril is converted to benazeprilat by hepatic cleavage of the ester group. Amlodipine besylate USP is a white or almost white powder. Freely soluble in methanol, sparingly soluble in ethanol, slightly soluble in water and in 2-proponal. Its chemical name is (R,S) 3-ethyl-5-methyl-2-(2-aminoethoxymethyl)-4-(2-chlorophenyl)-1,4- dihydro-6-methyl-3,5-pyridinedicarboxylate benzenesulfonate; its structural formula is. Its molecular formula is C20H25ClN205C6H603S, and its molecular weight is 567.1. Amlodipine besylate is the besylate salt of amlodipine, a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker. Amlodipine and benazepril hydrochloride capsules, USP are formulated in 6 different strengths for oral administration with a combination of amlodipine besylate equivalent to 2.5 mg, 5 mg or 10 mg of amlodipine, with 10 mg, 20 mg or 40 mg of benazepril hydrochloride providing for the following available combinations: 2.5 mg/10 mg, 5 mg/10 mg, 5 mg/20 mg,5 mg/40 mg, 10 mg/20 mg and 10 mg/40 mg. The inactive ingredients of the capsules are colloidal silicon dioxide, crospovidone, hydrogenated castor oil, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, sodium starch glycolate and talc.
