"IndicationAndUsage": "Clarithromycin tablets are a macrolide antimicrobial indicated for mild to moderate infections caused by designated, susceptible bacteria in the following: 1 Acute Bacterial Exacerbation of Chronic Bronchitis in Adults (1.1), 2 Acute Maxillary Sinusitis (1.2), 3 Community-Acquired Pneumonia (1.3), 4 Pharyngitis/Tonsillitis (1.4), 5 Uncomplicated Skin and Skin Structure Infections (1.5) , 6 Acute Otitis Media in Pediatric Patients (1.6), 7 Treatment and Prophylaxis of Disseminated Mycobacterial Infections (1.7), 8 Helicobacter pylori Infection and Duodenal Ulcer Disease in Adults (1.8).",
"Description": "Clarithromycin is a semi-synthetic macrolide antimicrobial for oral use. Chemically, it is 6-0-methylerythromycin. The molecular formula is C38H69NO13, and the molecular weight is 747.96. The structural formula is. Figure 1: Structure of Clarithromycin. Clarithromycin USP is a white or almost white, crystalline powder. It is soluble in acetone, slightly soluble in methanol, ethanol, and acetonitrile, and practically insoluble in water. Clarithromycin tablets, USP are available as immediate-release tablets. Each film-coated tablet contains 250 mg or 500 mg of clarithromycin USP and the following inactive ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, povidone, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, hydroxypropyl cellulose, iron oxide yellow, propylene glycol, vanillin, and sorbic acid."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Spironolactone tablets are an aldosterone antagonist indicated for: 1 The treatment of NYHA Class III-IV heart failure and reduced ejection fraction to increase survival, manage edema, and to reduce the need for hospitalization for heart failure ( 1.1). , 2 Use as an add-on therapy for the treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions ( 1.2). , 3 The management of edema in adult patients who are cirrhotic when edema is not responsive to fluid and sodium restrictions and in the setting of nephrotic syndrome when treatment of the underlying disease, restriction of fluid and sodium intake, and the use of other diuretics produce an inadequate response ( 1.3). , 4 Treatment of primary hyperaldosternism for: ( 1.4) .",
"Description": "Spironolactone oral tablets contain 25 mg, 50 mg, or 100 mg of the aldosterone antagonist spironolactone, 17‑ hydroxy-7α-mercapto-3-oxo-17α-pregn-4-ene-21-carboxylic acid γ-lactone acetate, which has the following structural formula. Spironolactone, USP is practically insoluble in water, soluble in alcohol, and freely soluble in benzene and in chloroform. Spironolactone tablets, 25 mg contain the following inactive ingredients: anhydrous lactose, colloidal silicon dioxide, docusate sodium 85%/sodium benzoate 15%, entrapped peppermint flavor, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, and sodium starch glycolate. Spironolactone tablets, 50 mg and 100 mg contain the following inactive ingredients: anhydrous lactose, carnauba wax, colloidal silicon dioxide, docusate sodium 85%/sodium benzoate 15%, entrapped peppermint flavor, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polydextrose, polyethylene glycol, povidone, sodium starch glycolate, titanium dioxide, and triacetin."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Eletriptan hydrobromide tablets are indicated for the acute treatment of migraine with or without aura in adults. Limitations of Use: : 1 Use only if a clear diagnosis of migraine has been established. If a patient has no response to the first migraine attack treated with eletriptan hydrobromide tablets, reconsider the diagnosis of migraine before eletriptan hydrobromide tablets are administered to treat any subsequent attacks. , 2 Eletriptan hydrobromide tablets are not intended for the prevention of migraine attacks. , 3 Safety and effectiveness of eletriptan hydrobromide tablets have not been established for cluster headache.",
"Description": "Eletriptan hydrobromide tablets contain eletriptan hydrobromide, which is a selective 5-hydroxytryptamine 1B/1D (5-HT1B/1D) receptor agonist. Eletriptan hydrobromide is chemically designated as (R)-3-[(1-Methyl-2-pyrrolidinyl)methyl]-5-[2-(phenylsulfonyl)ethyl]-1H-indole monohydrobromide, and it has the following chemical structure. The molecular formula is C22H26N2O2S . HBr, representing a molecular weight of 463.43. Eletriptan hydrobromide is a cream to pale brown powder that is readily soluble in water. Each eletriptan hydrobromide tablet for oral administration contains 24.2 or 48.5 mg of eletriptan hydrobromide equivalent to 20 mg or 40 mg of eletriptan, respectively. Each tablet also contains the inactive ingredients microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, titanium dioxide, hypromellose, triacetin, FD&C Yellow No. 6 aluminum lake."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Cephalexin is a cephalosporin antibacterial drug indicated for the treatment of the following infections caused by susceptible isolates of designated bacteria. To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of cephalexin and other antibacterial drugs, Cephalexin should be used only to treat infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by bacteria. (1.6).",
"Description": "Cephalexin capsules, USP is a semisynthetic cephalosporin antibacterial drug intended for oral administration. It is 7-(D-α-Amino-α-phenylacetamido)-3-methyl-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid monohydrate. Cephalexin has the molecular formula C16H17N3O4SH2O and the molecular weight is 365.41.Cephalexin has the following structural formula. Each capsule contains cephalexin monohydrate equivalent to 250 mg, 333 mg, 500 mg, or 750 mg of cephalexin. The 250 mg, 333 mg, 500 mg and 750 mg capsules contain anhydrous lactose, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, FD & C Blue No. 1, D & C Yellow No. 10, gelatin, sodium lauryl sulphate, titanium dioxide. In addition, the 250 mg capsule contains FD & C Red No. 40; 333 mg and 750 mg Capsules contains FD & C Yellow No. 6. The imprinting ink contains; shellac, propylene glycol, strong ammonia solution and potassium hydroxide. Also black Iron oxide is used in 250mg, 333mg and 500mg and titanium dioxide is used in 750mg."

"IndicationAndUsage": "FASENRA is an interleukin-5 receptor alpha-directed cytolytic monoclonal antibody (IgG1, kappa) indicated for: 1 add-on maintenance treatment of adult and pediatric patients aged 6 years and older with severe asthma, and with an eosinophilic phenotype. (1.1), 2 treatment of adult patients with eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA). (1.2), 3 treatment of adult and pediatric patients aged 12 years and older with hypereosinophilic syndrome (HES) without an identifiable non-hematologic secondary cause. (1.3).",
"Description": "Benralizumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody (IgG1/κ-class) selective for interleukin-5 receptor alpha subunit (IL-5Rα). Benralizumab is produced in Chinese hamster ovary cells by recombinant DNA technology. Benralizumab has a molecular weight of approximately 150 kDa. FASENRA (benralizumab) injection is a sterile, preservative-free, clear to opalescent, colorless to slightly yellow solution for subcutaneous injection. Since benralizumab is a protein, a few translucent or white to off-white particles may be present in the solution. Each 10 mg single-dose prefilled syringe delivers 0.5 mL containing 10 mg benralizumab, L-histidine (0.7 mg); L-histidine hydrochloride monohydrate (1.2 mg); polysorbate 20 (0.03 mg); α,α‑trehalose dihydrate (47 mg); and Water for Injection, USP, at pH of 5.5 – 6.5. The single-dose prefilled syringe contains a 1 mL glass syringe with a staked 29-gauge ½ inch stainless steel needle. Each 30 mg single-dose prefilled syringe or single-dose autoinjector delivers 1 mL containing 30 mg benralizumab, L-histidine (1.4 mg); L-histidine hydrochloride monohydrate (2.3 mg); polysorbate 20 (0.06 mg); α,α‑trehalose dihydrate (95 mg); and Water for Injection, USP, at pH of 5.5 – 6.5. "IndicationAndUsage": "Methylphenidate HCl extended-release capsules are indicated for the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in pediatric patients 6 to 15 years of age. Limitations of Use. The use of methylphenidate HCl extended-release capsules is not recommended in pediatric patients younger than 6 years of age because they had higher plasma exposure and a higher incidence of adverse reactions (e.g., weight loss) than patients 6 years and older at the same dosage [see Warnings and Precautions (5.7), Use in Specific Populations (8.4)].",
"Description": "Methylphenidate HCl extended-release capsules contain methylphenidate hydrochloride, a CNS stimulant. The extended-release capsules comprise both immediate-release (IR) and extended-release (ER) beads such that 30% of the dose is provided by the IR component and 70% of the dose is provided by the ER component. Methylphenidate HCl extended-release capsules are available in six capsule strengths containing 10 mg (3 mg IR; 7 mg ER), 20 mg (6 mg IR; 14 mg ER), 30 mg (9 mg IR; 21 mg ER), 40 mg (12 mg IR; 28 mg ER), 50 mg (15 mg IR; 35 mg ER), or 60 mg (18 mg IR; 42 mg ER) of methylphenidate hydrochloride for oral administration. Chemically, methylphenidate HCl is d,l (racemic)-threo-methyl α-phenyl-2-piperidineacetate hydrochloride. Its empirical formula is C14H19NO2HCl. Its structural formula is. Methylphenidate HCl USP is a white, odorless, crystalline powder. Its solutions are acid to litmus. It is freely soluble in water and in methanol, soluble in alcohol, and slightly soluble in chloroform and in acetone. Its molecular weight is 269.77. Methylphenidate HCl extended-release capsules also contain the following inactive ingredients: Sugar Spheres, Ethylcellulose, Oleic Acid, Medium-Chain Triglycerides, Titanium Dioxide, Gelatin, Shellac, Propylene Glycol, Hypromellose, Polyethylene Glycol, and Black Iron Oxide. The individual capsules contain the following color agents. 10 mg capsules: FD&C Blue No. 2, Yellow Iron Oxide, Sodium Hydroxide, Povidone. 20 mg capsules: FD&C Blue No. 2, Sodium Hydroxide, Povidone. 30 mg capsules: FD&C Blue No. 1, FD&C Red No. 40, FD&C Yellow No. 6, Sodium Hydroxide, Povidone. 40 mg capsules: Yellow Iron Oxide. 50 mg capsules: FD&C Blue No. 2, Red Iron Oxide, Sodium Hydroxide, Povidone."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Testosterone cypionate injection is indicated for replacement therapy in the male in conditions associated with symptoms of deficiency or absence of endogenous testosterone. 1. Primary hypogonadism (congenital or acquired)-testicular failure due to cryptorchidism, bilateral torsion, orchitis, vanishing testis syndrome; or orchidectomy. 2. Hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (congenital or acquired)-gonadotropin or LHRH deficiency, or pituitary-hypothalamic injury from tumors, trauma, or radiation. Safety and efficacy of testosterone cypionate injection in men with “age-related hypogonadism” (also referred to as “late-onset hypogonadism”) have not been established.",
"Description": "Testosterone Cypionate Injection, USP, for intramuscular injection, contains testosterone cypionate which is the oil-soluble 17 (beta)- cyclopentylpropionate ester of the androgenic hormone testosterone. Testosterone cypionate is a white or creamy white crystalline powder, odorless or nearly so and stable in air. It is insoluble in water, freely soluble in alcohol, chloroform, dioxane, ether, and soluble in vegetable oils. The chemical name for testosterone cypionate is androst-4-en-3-one,17-(3-cyclopentyl-1-oxopropoxy)-, (17β)-. Its molecular formula is C27H40O3, and the molecular weight 412.61. The structural formula is represented below. Testosterone Cypionate Injection, USP is available as 200 mg/mL testosterone cypionate. Each mL of the solution contains Testosterone Cypionate, 200 mg; Benzyl Benzoate, 0.2 mL; Cottonseed Oil, 560 mg; Benzyl Alcohol (as preservative), 9.45 mg."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Entacapone tablets USP are indicated as an adjunct to levodopa and carbidopa to treat end-of-dose \"wearing-off\" in patients with Parkinson's disease (see CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY, Clinical Studies). Entacapone's effectiveness has not been systematically evaluated in patients with Parkinson's disease who do not experience end-of-dose \"wearing-off\".",
"Description": "Entacapone tablets USP is available as tablets containing 200 mg entacapone. Entacapone is an inhibitor of catechol- O-methyltransferase (COMT), used in the treatment of Parkinson's disease as an adjunct to levodopa and carbidopa therapy. It is a nitrocatechol-structured compound with a relative molecular mass of 305.29. The chemical name of entacapone is (E)-2-cyano-3-(3,4-dihydroxy-5-nitrophenyl)-N,N-diethyl-2-propenamide. Its empirical formula is C 14H 15N 3O 5 and its structural formula is:. The inactive ingredients of the entacapone tablets USP are microcrystalline cellulose, mannitol, sodium starch glycolate, povidone, magnesium stearate, polyvinyl alcohol- partly hydrolyzed, talc, macrogol, lecithin (soya), iron oxide yellow, iron oxide red, and titanium dioxide."

Mild, uncomplicated allergic skin manifestations of urticaria and angioedema. Amelioration of allergic reactions to blood or plasma. Dermographism. Anaphylactic reactions, as adjunctive therapy to epinephrine and other standard measures, after the acute manifestations have been controlled. Preoperative, postoperative or obstetric sedation. Prevention and control of nausea and vomiting associated with certain types of anesthesia and surgery. Therapy adjunctive to meperidine or other analgesics for control of postoperative pain. Sedation in both children and adults, as well as relief of apprehension and production of light sleep from which the patient can be easily aroused. Active and prophylactic treatment of motion sickness. Antiemetic therapy in postoperative patients.",
"Description": "Promethazine hydrochloride, USP a phenothiazine derivative, is designated chemically as (±)-10-[2-(Dimethylamino)propyl]phenothiazine monohydrochloride and has the following structural formula. Promethazine hydrochloride, USP is a racemic compound; the molecular formula is C17H20N2S HCl and its molecular weight is 320.88. Promethazine hydrochloride, USP occurs as a white to faint yellow, practically odorless, crystalline powder which slowly oxidizes and turns blue on prolonged exposure to air. It is freely soluble in water and soluble in alcohol. Each tablet for oral administration contains 25 mg or 50 mg of promethazine hydrochloride, USP. The inactive ingredients include: lactose (monohydrate), magnesium stearate and microcrystalline cellulose. The 50 mg also contains D & C Red Lake Blend (D & C Red #27 and D & C Red #30)."

Clarithromycin USP is a white or almost white, crystalline powder. It is soluble in acetone, slightly soluble in methanol, ethanol, and acetonitrile, and practically insoluble in water. Clarithromycin tablets, USP are available as immediate-release tablets. Each film-coated tablet contains 250 mg or 500 mg of clarithromycin USP and the following inactive ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, povidone, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, hydroxypropyl cellulose, iron oxide yellow, propylene glycol, vanillin, and sorbic acid."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Clarithromycin tablets are a macrolide antimicrobial indicated for mild to moderate infections caused by designated, susceptible bacteria in the following: 1 Acute Bacterial Exacerbation of Chronic Bronchitis in Adults (1.1), 2 Acute Maxillary Sinusitis (1.2), 3 Community-Acquired Pneumonia (1.3), 4 Pharyngitis/Tonsillitis (1.4), 5 Uncomplicated Skin and Skin Structure Infections (1.5) , 6 Acute Otitis Media in Pediatric Patients (1.6), 7 Treatment and Prophylaxis of Disseminated Mycobacterial Infections (1.7), 8 Helicobacter pylori Infection and Duodenal Ulcer Disease in Adults (1.8).",
"Description": "Clarithromycin is a semi-synthetic macrolide antimicrobial for oral use. Chemically, it is 6-0-methylerythromycin. The molecular formula is C38H69NO13, and the molecular weight is 747.96. The structural formula is. Figure 1: Structure of Clarithromycin. Clarithromycin USP is a white or almost white, crystalline powder. It is soluble in acetone, slightly soluble in methanol, ethanol, and acetonitrile, and practically insoluble in water. Clarithromycin tablets, USP are available as immediate-release tablets.
