"IndicationAndUsage": "A single dose of KINRIX is indicated for active immunization against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, and poliomyelitis as the fifth dose in the diphtheria, tetanus, and acellular pertussis (DTaP) vaccine series and the fourth dose in the inactivated poliovirus vaccine (IPV) series in children aged 4 through 6 years (prior to the seventh birthday) whose previous DTaP vaccine doses have been with INFANRIX (Diphtheria and Tetanus Toxoids and Acellular Pertussis Vaccine Adsorbed) and/or PEDIARIX [Diphtheria and Tetanus Toxoids and Acellular Pertussis Adsorbed, Hepatitis B (Recombinant) and Inactivated Poliovirus Vaccine] for the first 3 doses and INFANRIX for the fourth dose.",
"Description": "KINRIX (Diphtheria and Tetanus Toxoids and Acellular Pertussis Adsorbed and Inactivated Poliovirus Vaccine) is a noninfectious, sterile, injectable suspension for intramuscular use. Each 0.5 mL dose is formulated to contain 25 Lf of diphtheria toxoid, 10 Lf of tetanus toxoid, 25 mcg of inactivated pertussis toxin (PT), 25 mcg of filamentous hemagglutinin (FHA), 8 mcg of pertactin (69 kiloDalton outer membrane protein), 40 D‑antigen Units (DU) of Type 1 poliovirus (Mahoney), 8 DU of Type 2 poliovirus (MEF‑1), and 32 DU of Type 3 poliovirus (Saukett). The diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis components of KINRIX are the same as those in INFANRIX and PEDIARIX and the poliovirus component is the same as that in PEDIARIX. The diphtheria toxin is produced by growing Corynebacterium diphtheriae (C. diphtheriae) in Fenton medium containing a bovine extract. Tetanus toxin is produced by growing Clostridium tetani (C. tetani) in a modified Latham medium derived from bovine casein. The bovine materials used in these extracts are sourced from countries which the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has determined neither have nor are at risk of bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE). Both toxins are detoxified with formaldehyde, concentrated by ultrafiltration, and purified by precipitation, dialysis, and sterile filtration. The acellular pertussis antigens (PT, FHA, and pertactin) are isolated from Bordetella pertussis (B. pertussis) culture grown in modified Stainer-Scholte liquid medium. PT and FHA are isolated from the fermentation broth; pertactin is extracted from the cells by heat treatment and flocculation. The antigens are purified in successive chromatographic and precipitation steps. PT is detoxified using glutaraldehyde and formaldehyde. FHA and pertactin are treated with formaldehyde. Diphtheria and tetanus toxoids and pertussis antigens (inactivated PT, FHA, and pertactin) are individually adsorbed onto aluminum hydroxide. The inactivated poliovirus component of KINRIX is an enhanced potency component. Each of the 3 strains of poliovirus is individually grown in VERO cells, a continuous line of monkey kidney cells, cultivated on microcarriers. Calf serum and lactalbumin hydrolysate are used during VERO cell culture and/or virus culture. Calf serum is sourced from countries the USDA has determined neither have nor are at risk of BSE. After clarification, each viral suspension is purified by ultrafiltration, diafiltration, and successive chromatographic steps, and inactivated with formaldehyde. The 3 purified viral strains are then pooled to form a trivalent concentrate. Diphtheria and tetanus toxoid potency is determined by measuring the amount of neutralizing antitoxin in previously immunized guinea pigs. The potency of the acellular pertussis components (inactivated PT, FHA, and pertactin) is determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) on sera from previously immunized mice. The potency of the inactivated poliovirus component is determined by using the D-antigen ELISA and by a poliovirus-neutralizing cell culture assay on sera from previously immunized rats. Each 0.5 mL dose contains aluminum hydroxide as adjuvant (formulated to contain 0.5 mg aluminum) and ≤4.4 mg of sodium chloride. The aluminum content is measured by assay. Each dose also contains ≤100 mcg of residual formaldehyde and ≤100 mcg of polysorbate 80 (Tween 80). Neomycin sulfate and polymyxin B sulfate are used in the poliovirus vaccine manufacturing process and may be present in the final vaccine at ≤0.05 ng neomycin and ≤0.01 ng polymyxin B per dose. The tip cap and rubber plunger stopper of the prefilled syringe are not made with natural rubber latex. KINRIX does not contain a preservative."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Ziprasidone capsules are indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia, as monotherapy for the acute treatment of bipolar manic or mixed episodes, and as an adjunct to lithium or valproate for the maintenance treatment of bipolar disorder. When deciding among the alternative treatments available for the condition needing treatment, the prescriber should consider the finding of ziprasidone’s greater capacity to prolong the QT/QTc interval compared to several other antipsychotic drugs [see Warnings and Precautions ( 5.3) ]. Prolongation of the QTc interval is associated in some other drugs with the ability to cause torsade de pointes-type arrhythmia, a potentially fatal polymorphic ventricular tachycardia, and sudden death. In many cases this would lead to the conclusion that other drugs should be tried first. Whether ziprasidone will cause torsade de pointes or increase the rate of sudden death is not yet known [see Warnings and Precautions ( 5.3) ]. Schizophrenia. Ziprasidone capsules are indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia in adults [see Clinical Studies ( 14.1)] . Bipolar I Disorder (Acute Mixed or Manic Episodes and Maintenance Treatment as an Adjunct to Lithium or Valproate): 1 Ziprasidone capsules are indicated as monotherapy for the acute treatment of adults with manic or mixed episodes associated with bipolar I disorder [see Clinical Studies ( 14.2)]. , 2 Ziprasidone capsules are indicated as an adjunct to lithium or valproate for the maintenance treatment of bipolar I disorder in adults [see Clinical Studies ( 14.2)]. .",

"IndicationAndUsage": "Buspirone hydrochloride tablets are indicated for the management of anxiety disorders or the short-term relief of the symptoms of anxiety. Anxiety or tension associated with the stress of everyday life usually does not require treatment with an anxiolytic. The efficacy of buspirone hydrochloride tablets have been demonstrated in controlled clinical trials of outpatients whose diagnosis roughly corresponds to Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). Many of the patients enrolled in these studies also had coexisting depressive symptoms and buspirone hydrochloride tablets relieved anxiety in the presence of these coexisting depressive symptoms. The patients evaluated in these studies had experienced symptoms for periods of 1 month to over 1 year prior to the study, with an average symptom duration of 6 months. Generalized Anxiety Disorder (300.02) is described in the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, III 1 as follows:. Generalized, persistent anxiety (of at least 1 month continual duration), manifested by symptoms from three of the four following categories: 1 Motor tension Shakiness, jitteriness, jumpiness, trembling, tension, muscle aches, fatigability, inability to relax, eyelid twitch, furrowed brow, strained face, fidgeting, restlessness, easy startle. , 2 Autonomic hyperactivity Sweating, heart pounding or racing, cold, clammy hands, dry mouth, dizziness, lightheadedness, paresthesias (tingling in hands or feet), upset stomach, hot or cold spells, frequent urination, diarrhea, discomfort in the pit of the stomach, lump in the throat, flushing, pallor, high resting pulse and respiration rate. , 3 Apprehensive expectation Anxiety, worry, fear, rumination, and anticipation of misfortune to self or others. , 4 Vigilance and scanning Hyperattentiveness resulting in distractibility, difficulty in concentrating, insomnia, feeling \"on edge,\" irritability, impatience. .",
"Description": "Buspirone hydrochloride tablets, USP are an antianxiety agent that is not chemically or pharmacologically related to the benzodiazepines, barbiturates, or other sedative/anxiolytic drugs. Buspirone hydrochloride, USP is a white crystalline powder. It is very soluble in water; freely soluble in methanol and in methylene chloride; sparingly soluble in ethanol and in acetonitrile; very slightly soluble in ethyl acetate and practically insoluble in hexanes. Its molecular weight is 422. Chemically, buspirone hydrochloride is 8-[4-[4-(2-pyrimidinyl)-1-piperazinyl]butyl]-8-azaspiro[4.5]decane-7,9-dione monohydrochloride. The molecular formula C 21H 31N 5O 2HCl is represented by the following structural formula:. Each buspirone hydrochloride tablet intended for oral administration contains 5 mg or 7.5 mg or 10 mg or 15 mg or 30 mg buspirone hydrochloride (equivalent to 4.6 mg, 6.85 mg, 9.1 mg, 13.7 mg, and 27.4 mg of buspirone free base, respectively). In addition, each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose and sodium starch glycolate. The 5 mg and 10 mg tablets are scored so they can be bisected. Thus, the 5 mg tablet can also provide 2.5 mg dose, and the 10 mg tablet can provide a 5 mg dose. The 15 mg and 30 mg tablets are scored so they can be either bisected or trisected. Thus, a single 15 mg tablet can provide the following doses: 15 mg (entire tablet), 10 mg (two thirds of a tablet), 7.5 mg (one half of a tablet), or 5 mg (one third of a tablet). A single 30 mg tablet can provide the following doses: 30 mg (entire tablet), 20 mg (two thirds of a tablet), 15 mg (one half of a tablet), or 10 mg (one third of a tablet)."

"IndicationAndUsage": "BOOSTRIX is indicated for: 1 ·active booster immunization against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis in individuals aged 10 years and older,, 2 ·immunization during the third trimester of pregnancy to prevent pertussis in infants younger than 2 months of age.",
"Description": "BOOSTRIX (Tetanus Toxoid, Reduced Diphtheria Toxoid and Acellular Pertussis Vaccine, Adsorbed) is a noninfectious, sterile, injectable suspension for intramuscular use. It contains tetanus toxoid, diphtheria toxoid, and pertussis antigens (inactivated pertussis toxin [PT] and formaldehyde‑treated FHA and PRN). The antigens are the same as those in INFANRIX, but BOOSTRIX is formulated with reduced quantities of these antigens. Tetanus toxin is produced by growing Clostridium tetani (C. tetani) in a modified Latham medium derived from bovine casein. The diphtheria toxin is produced by growing Corynebacterium diphtheriae (C. diphtheriae) in Fenton medium containing a bovine extract. The acellular pertussis antigens (PT, FHA, and PRN) are isolated from Bordetella pertussis (B. pertussis) culture grown in modified Stainer-Scholte liquid medium. PT and FHA are isolated from the fermentation broth; PRN is extracted from the cells by heat treatment and flocculation. The antigens are purified in successive chromatographic and precipitation steps. PT is detoxified using glutaraldehyde and formaldehyde. FHA and PRN are treated with formaldehyde. Each antigen is individually adsorbed onto aluminum hydroxide. Each 0.5 mL dose is formulated to contain 5 Lf of tetanus toxoid, 2.5 Lf of diphtheria toxoid, 8 mcg of inactivated PT, 8 mcg of FHA, and 2.5 mcg of PRN (69 kiloDalton outer membrane protein). Tetanus and diphtheria toxoid potency is determined by measuring the amount of neutralizing antitoxin in previously immunized guinea pigs. The potency of the acellular pertussis components (inactivated PT and formaldehyde‑treated FHA and PRN) is determined by enzyme‑linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) on sera from previously immunized mice. Each 0.5 mL dose contains aluminum hydroxide as adjuvant (formulated to contain 0.3 mg aluminum) and 4.4 mg of sodium chloride. The aluminum content is measured by assay. Each dose also contains ≤100 mcg of residual formaldehyde and ≤100 mcg of polysorbate 80 (Tween 80). BOOSTRIX is available in vials and prefilled syringes. The tip cap and rubber plunger stopper of the prefilled syringe are not made with natural rubber latex. The vial stoppers are not made with natural rubber latex. BOOSTRIX is formulated without preservatives."

"IndicationAndUsage": "RabAvert is indicated for preexposure vaccination, in both primary series and booster dose, and for postexposure prophylaxis against rabies in all age groups. Usually an immunization series is initiated and completed with 1 vaccine product. No clinical studies have been conducted that document a change in efficacy or the frequency of adverse reactions when the series is completed with a second vaccine product. However, for booster immunization, RabAvert was shown to elicit protective antibody level responses in persons tested who received a primary series with HDCV.4,11.",
"Description": "RabAvert Rabies Vaccine produced by GlaxoSmithKline GmbH is a sterile, freeze-dried vaccine obtained by growing the fixed-virus strain Flury Low Egg Passage (LEP) in primary cultures of chicken fibroblasts. The strain Flury LEP was obtained from American Type Culture Collection as the 59th egg passage. The growth medium for propagation of the virus is a synthetic cell culture medium with the addition of human albumin, polygeline (processed bovine gelatin), and antibiotics. The virus is inactivated with β-propiolactone and further processed by zonal centrifugation in a sucrose density gradient. The vaccine is lyophilized after addition of a stabilizer solution that consists of buffered polygeline and potassium glutamate. One dose of reconstituted vaccine contains ≤12 mg polygeline (processed bovine gelatin), ≤0.3 mg human serum albumin, 1 mg potassium glutamate, and 0.3 mg sodium EDTA. Small quantities of bovine serum are used in the cell culture process. Bovine components originate only from the United States, Australia, and New Zealand. Minimal amounts of chicken protein may be present in the final product; ovalbumin content is ≤3 ng/dose (1 mL), based on ELISA. Antibiotics (neomycin, chlortetracycline, amphotericin B) added during cell and virus propagation are largely removed during subsequent steps in the manufacturing process. In the final vaccine, neomycin is present at ≤10 mcg, chlortetracycline at ≤200 ng, and amphotericin B at ≤20 ng per dose. RabAvert is intended for intramuscular (IM) injection. The vaccine contains no preservative and should be used immediately after reconstitution with the supplied Sterile Diluent for RabAvert (Water for Injection). The potency of the final product is determined by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) mouse potency test using the United States (US) reference standard. The potency of 1 dose (1.0 mL) of RabAvert is at least 2.5 IU of rabies antigen. RabAvert is a white, freeze-dried vaccine for reconstitution with the diluent prior to use; the reconstituted vaccine is a clear to slightly opalescent, colorless to slightly pink suspension."

"Description": "FLUARIX, Influenza Vaccine, is a sterile colorless and slightly opalescent injectable suspension for intramuscular use. FLUARIX is a vaccine prepared from influenza viruses propagated in embryonated chicken eggs. Each of the influenza viruses is produced and purified separately. After harvesting the virus‑containing fluids, each influenza virus is concentrated and purified by zonal centrifugation using a linear sucrose density gradient solution containing detergent to disrupt the viruses. Following dilution, the vaccine is further purified by diafiltration. Each influenza virus solution is inactivated by the consecutive effects of sodium deoxycholate and formaldehyde leading to the production of a “split virus.” Each split inactivated virus is then suspended in sodium phosphate‑buffered isotonic sodium chloride solution. The vaccine is formulated from the 3 split inactivated virus solutions. FLUARIX is formulated to contain 45 micrograms (mcg) hemagglutinin (HA) per 0.5‑mL dose, in the recommended ratio of 15 mcg HA of each of the following 3 strains: A/Switzerland/6849/2025 IVR‑278 (an A/Missouri/11/2025 pdm09-like virus) (H1N1), A/Michigan/105/2025 SAN-049A (an A/Darwin/1454/2025‑like virus) (H3N2), and B/Tokyo/EIS13‑175/2025 (B‑Victoria lineage). These three influenza virus strains are recommended by FDA for the 2026‑2027 influenza season. FLUARIX is formulated without preservatives. FLUARIX does not contain thimerosal. "IndicationAndUsage": "AREPANRIX is indicated for active immunization for the prevention of disease caused by the influenza A virus H5 subtype contained in the vaccine. AREPANRIX is approved for use in individuals 6 months of age and older at increased risk of exposure to the influenza A virus H5 subtype contained in the vaccine. In individuals 6 months through 17 years of age, this indication is approved under accelerated approval based on immune responses, as measured by hemagglutination‑inhibition (HI) titers [see Clinical Studies (14.2)]. Continued approval for this indication in individuals 6 months through 17 years of age may be contingent upon verification and description of clinical benefit in a confirmatory trial.",
"Description": "AREPANRIX (Influenza A [H5] Monovalent Vaccine, Adjuvanted) is a sterile injectable emulsion administered intramuscularly. The vaccine is supplied as 2 components: a vial of inactivated, split-virion, H5 Antigen Component and a vial of AS03 Adjuvant Component that must be combined prior to administration to form AREPANRIX. The H5 Antigen Component is manufactured according to a similar process as that used to produce the antigens contained in FLULAVAL (Influenza Vaccine) and FLULAVAL QUADRIVALENT (Influenza Vaccine), which are unadjuvanted seasonal influenza vaccines licensed in the U.S. The H5 Antigen Component is a sterile, translucent to whitish opalescent suspension in a phosphate-buffered, thimerosal‑containing saline solution that may sediment slightly. The sediment resuspends upon mixing by inversion to form a homogeneous suspension. The H5 Antigen Component is prepared from virus propagated in the allantoic cavity of embryonated hen’s eggs. The virus is inactivated with ultraviolet light treatment followed by formaldehyde treatment, purified by centrifugation, and disrupted with sodium deoxycholate. The AS03 Adjuvant Component is a homogenized, sterile, whitish to yellowish milky emulsion composed of squalene, DL-α-tocopherol, and polysorbate 80. AREPANRIX is prepared by combining the H5 Antigen Component with the AS03 Adjuvant Component. After combining, AREPANRIX is a whitish to yellowish homogenous milky emulsion. Each 0.5‑mL dose of AREPANRIX (H5N8) for individuals 18 years of age and older contains 3.75 mcg hemagglutinin (HA) of the influenza virus strain A/Astrakhan/3212/2020-like (H5N8, clade 2.3.4.4b); 5 mcg thimerosal, a mercury derivative, as a preservative (2.5 mcg mercury); and AS03 adjuvant (10.69 mg squalene, 11.86 mg DL-α-tocopherol, and 4.86 mg polysorbate 80). Each 0.5-mL dose may also contain residual amounts of ovalbumin (≤0.083 mcg), formaldehyde (≤12.5 mcg), and sodium deoxycholate (≤3.75 mcg) from the manufacturing process. Each 0.25‑mL dose of AREPANRIX (H5N8) for individuals 6 months through 17 years contains 1.9 mcg hemagglutinin (HA) of the influenza virus strain A/Astrakhan/3212/2020-like (H5N8, clade 2.3.4.4b); 2.5 mcg thimerosal, a mercury derivative, as a preservative (1.25 mcg mercury); and AS03 adjuvant (5.35 mg squalene, 5.93 mg DL-α-tocopherol, and 2.43 mg polysorbate 80). Each 0.25‑mL dose may also contain residual amounts of ovalbumin (≤0.042 mcg), formaldehyde (≤6.25 mcg), and sodium deoxycholate (≤1.88 mcg) from the manufacturing process. The vial stoppers are not made with natural rubber latex."

"Description": "FLUARIX QUADRIVALENT, Influenza Vaccine, for intramuscular injection, is a sterile, colorless, and slightly opalescent suspension. FLUARIX QUADRIVALENT is prepared from influenza viruses propagated in embryonated chicken eggs. Each of the influenza viruses is produced and purified separately. After harvesting the virus-containing fluids, each influenza virus is concentrated and purified by zonal centrifugation using a linear sucrose density gradient solution containing detergent to disrupt the viruses. Following dilution, the vaccine is further purified by diafiltration. Each influenza virus solution is inactivated by the consecutive effects of sodium deoxycholate and formaldehyde leading to the production of a “split virus.” Each split inactivated virus is then suspended in sodium phosphate-buffered isotonic sodium chloride solution. Each vaccine is formulated from the split inactivated virus solutions. FLUARIX QUADRIVALENT has been standardized according to U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS) requirements for the 2023-2024 influenza season and is formulated to contain 60 micrograms (mcg) hemagglutinin (HA) per 0.5‑mL dose, in the recommended ratio of 15 mcg HA of each of the following 4 influenza virus strains (2 A strains and 2 B strains): A/Victoria/4897/2022 (H1N1) IVR-238, A/Darwin/6/2021 (H3N2) IVR-227 (an A/Darwin/9/2021 (H3N2)-like virus), B/Austria/1359417/2021 BVR-26 (B-Victoria lineage), and B/Phuket/3073/2013 (B-Yamagata lineage). FLUARIX QUADRIVALENT is formulated without preservatives. FLUARIX QUADRIVALENT does not contain thimerosal. Each 0.5‑mL dose also contains octoxynol-10 (TRITON X-100) ≤0.115 mg, α-tocopheryl hydrogen succinate ≤0.135 mg, and polysorbate 80 (Tween 80) ≤0.550 mg. Each dose may also contain residual amounts of hydrocortisone ≤0.0015 mcg, gentamicin sulfate ≤0.15 mcg, ovalbumin ≤0.050 mcg, formaldehyde ≤5 mcg, and sodium deoxycholate ≤65 mcg from the manufacturing process. The tip caps and plungers of the prefilled syringes of FLUARIX QUADRIVALENT are not made with natural rubber latex."

<IndicationAndUsage>A single dose of KINRIX is indicated for active immunization against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, and poliomyelitis as the fifth dose in the diphtheria, tetanus, and acellular pertussis (DTaP) vaccine series and the fourth dose in the inactivated poliovirus vaccine (IPV) series in children aged 4 through 6 years (prior to the seventh birthday) whose previous DTaP vaccine doses have been with INFANRIX (Diphtheria and Tetanus Toxoids and Acellular Pertussis Vaccine Adsorbed) and/or PEDIARIX [Diphtheria and Tetanus Toxoids and Acellular Pertussis Adsorbed, Hepatitis B (Recombinant) and Inactivated Poliovirus Vaccine] for the first 3 doses and INFANRIX for the fourth dose.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>KINRIX (Diphtheria and Tetanus Toxoids and Acellular Pertussis Adsorbed and Inactivated Poliovirus Vaccine) is a noninfectious, sterile, injectable suspension for intramuscular use. KINRIX does not contain a preservative.</Description>

<IndicationAndUsage>Ziprasidone capsules are indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia, as monotherapy for the acute treatment of bipolar manic or mixed episodes, and as an adjunct to lithium or valproate for the maintenance treatment of bipolar disorder. Bipolar I Disorder (Acute Mixed or Manic Episodes and Maintenance Treatment as an Adjunct to Lithium or Valproate): 1 Ziprasidone capsules are indicated as monotherapy for the acute treatment of adults with manic or mixed episodes associated with bipolar I disorder [see Clinical Studies ( 14.2)]. , 2 Ziprasidone capsules are indicated as an adjunct to lithium or valproate for the maintenance treatment of bipolar I disorder in adults [see Clinical Studies ( 14.2)]. .</IndicationAndUsage>

<IndicationAndUsage>Buspirone hydrochloride tablets are indicated for the management of anxiety disorders or the short-term relief of the symptoms of anxiety. Generalized, persistent anxiety (of at least 1 month continual duration), manifested by symptoms from three of the four following categories: 1 Motor tension Shakiness, jitteriness, jumpiness, trembling, tension, muscle aches, fatigability, inability to relax, eyelid twitch, furrowed brow, strained face, fidgeting, restlessness, easy startle. , 2 Autonomic hyperactivity Sweating, heart pounding or racing, cold, clammy hands, dry mouth, dizziness, lightheadedness, paresthesias (tingling in hands or feet), upset stomach, hot or cold spells, frequent urination, diarrhea, discomfort in the pit of the stomach, lump in the throat, flushing, pallor, high resting pulse and respiration rate. , 3 Apprehensive expectation Anxiety, worry, fear, rumination, and anticipation of misfortune to self or others. , 4 Vigilance and scanning Hyperattentiveness resulting in distractibility, difficulty in concentrating, insomnia, feeling "on edge," irritability, impatience. .</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>Buspirone hydrochloride tablets, USP are an antianxiety agent that is not chemically or pharmacologically related to the benzodiazepines, barbiturates, or other sedative/anxiolytic drugs. A single 30 mg tablet can provide the following doses: 30 mg (entire tablet), 20 mg (two thirds of a tablet), 15 mg (one half of a tablet), or 10 mg (one third of a tablet).</Description>

<IndicationAndUsage>Oxazepam capsules are indicated for the management of anxiety disorders or for the short-term relief of the symptoms of anxiety. Anxiety or tension associated with the stress of everyday life usually does not require treatment with an anxiolytic. Anxiety associated with depression is also responsive to oxazepam therapy. This product has been found particularly useful in the management of anxiety, tension, agitation and irritability in older patients. Alcoholics with acute tremulousness, inebriation, or with anxiety associated with alcohol withdrawal are responsive to therapy. The effectiveness of oxazepam in long-term use, that is, more than 4 months, has not been assessed by systematic clinical studies. The physician should periodically reassess the usefulness of the drug for the individual patient.</IndicationAndUsage>

<IndicationAndUsage>HIBERIX is indicated for active immunization for the prevention of invasive disease caused by Haemophilus influenzae (H. influenzae) type b. HIBERIX is approved for use in children aged 6 weeks through 4 years (prior to fifth birthday).</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>HIBERIX [Haemophilus b Conjugate Vaccine (Tetanus Toxoid Conjugate)] is a solution for intramuscular injection, supplied as a sterile, lyophilized powder which is reconstituted at the time of use with the accompanying saline diluent. HIBERIX contains Haemophilus b capsular polysaccharide (polyribosyl‑ribitol‑phosphate [PRP]), a high molecular weight polymer prepared from the H. influenzae type b strain 20,752 grown in a synthetic medium that undergoes heat inactivation and purification. The tetanus toxin, prepared from Clostridium tetani grown in a semi‑synthetic medium, is detoxified with formaldehyde and purified. The capsular polysaccharide is covalently bound to the tetanus toxoid. After purification, the conjugate is lyophilized in the presence of lactose as a stabilizer. The diluent for HIBERIX is a sterile saline solution (0.9% sodium chloride) supplied in prefilled syringes. After reconstitution, each approximately 0.5‑mL dose of HIBERIX contains 10 mcg of purified capsular polysaccharide conjugated to approximately 25 mcg of tetanus toxoid, 12.6 mg of lactose, and ≤0.5 mcg of residual formaldehyde. HIBERIX does not contain a preservative. The stopper of the vial containing Lyophilized Antigen Component and the tip cap and rubber plunger stopper of the prefilled syringe containing Sterile Saline Diluent are not made with natural rubber latex.</Description>

<IndicationAndUsage>ENGERIX-B is indicated for immunization against infection caused by all known subtypes of hepatitis B virus.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>ENGERIX‑B [Hepatitis B Vaccine (Recombinant)] is a sterile, injectable suspension of noninfectious HBsAg for intramuscular use. It contains purified surface antigen of the virus obtained by culturing genetically engineered Saccharomyces cerevisiae cells, which carry the surface antigen gene of the hepatitis B virus. The HBsAg expressed in the cells is purified by several physicochemical steps and formulated as a suspension of the antigen adsorbed on aluminum hydroxide. The procedures used to manufacture ENGERIX‑B result in a product that contains no more than 5% yeast protein. Each 0.5 mL pediatric/adolescent dose contains 10 mcg of HBsAg adsorbed on 0.25 mg aluminum as aluminum hydroxide. Each 1 mL adult dose contains 20 mcg of HBsAg adsorbed on 0.5 mg aluminum as aluminum hydroxide. ENGERIX‑B contains the following excipients: Sodium chloride (8 mg/mL) and phosphate buffers (disodium phosphate dihydrate, 0.9 mg/mL; sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, 0.7 mg/mL). ENGERIX‑B is available in vials (adult dose only) and prefilled syringes. The tip cap and rubber plunger stopper of the prefilled syringe are not made with natural rubber latex. The vial stoppers are not made with natural rubber latex. ENGERIX‑B is formulated without preservatives.</Description>

<IndicationAndUsage>BOOSTRIX is indicated for: 1 ·active booster immunization against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis in individuals aged 10 years and older,, 2 ·immunization during the third trimester of pregnancy to prevent pertussis in infants younger than 2 months of age.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>BOOSTRIX (Tetanus Toxoid, Reduced Diphtheria Toxoid and Acellular Pertussis Vaccine, Adsorbed) is a noninfectious, sterile, injectable suspension for intramuscular use. BOOSTRIX is formulated without preservatives.</Description>

<IndicationAndUsage>RabAvert is indicated for preexposure vaccination, in both primary series and booster dose, and for postexposure prophylaxis against rabies in all age groups. Usually an immunization series is initiated and completed with 1 vaccine product. No clinical studies have been conducted that document a change in efficacy or the frequency of adverse reactions when the series is completed with a second vaccine product. However, for booster immunization, RabAvert was shown to elicit protective antibody level responses in persons tested who received a primary series with HDCV.4,11.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>RabAvert Rabies Vaccine produced by GlaxoSmithKline GmbH is a sterile, freeze-dried vaccine obtained by growing the fixed-virus strain Flury Low Egg Passage (LEP) in primary cultures of chicken fibroblasts. RabAvert is a white, freeze-dried vaccine for reconstitution with the diluent prior to use; the reconstituted vaccine is a clear to slightly opalescent, colorless to slightly pink suspension.</Description>

<IndicationAndUsage>FLUARIX is indicated for active immunization for the prevention of disease caused by influenza A subtype viruses and type B virus contained in the vaccine [see Description (11)]. FLUARIX is approved for use in persons aged 6 months and older.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>FLUARIX, Influenza Vaccine, is a sterile colorless and slightly opalescent injectable suspension for intramuscular use. Each 0.5‑mL dose also contains octoxinol‑10 (TRITON X‑100) ≤0.085 mg, α‑tocopheryl hydrogen succinate ≤0.1 mg, and polysorbate 80 (Tween 80) ≤0.415 mg. Each dose may also contain residual amounts of hydrocortisone ≤0.0015 mcg, gentamicin sulfate ≤0.15 mcg, ovalbumin ≤0.05 mcg, formaldehyde ≤5 mcg, and sodium deoxycholate ≤50 mcg from the manufacturing process. The tip cap and rubber plunger stopper of the prefilled syringe are not made with natural rubber latex.</Description>

<IndicationAndUsage>AREPANRIX is indicated for active immunization for the prevention of disease caused by the influenza A virus H5 subtype contained in the vaccine. Continued approval for this indication in individuals 6 months through 17 years of age may be contingent upon verification and description of clinical benefit in a confirmatory trial.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>AREPANRIX (Influenza A [H5] Monovalent Vaccine, Adjuvanted) is a sterile injectable emulsion administered intramuscularly. <IndicationAndUsage>ENGERIX-B is indicated for immunization against infection caused by all known subtypes of hepatitis B virus.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>ENGERIX-B [Hepatitis B Vaccine (Recombinant)] is a sterile suspension of noninfectious HBsAg for intramuscular administration. The procedures used to manufacture ENGERIX-B result in a product that contains no more than 5% yeast protein. Each 0.5-mL pediatric/adolescent dose contains 10 mcg of HBsAg adsorbed on 0.25 mg aluminum as aluminum hydroxide. Each 1-mL adult dose contains 20 mcg of HBsAg adsorbed on 0.5 mg aluminum as aluminum hydroxide. ENGERIX-B contains the following excipients: Sodium chloride (8 mg/mL) and phosphate buffers (disodium phosphate dihydrate, 0.9 mg/mL; sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, 0.7 mg/mL). ENGERIX‑B is available in vials (adult dose only) and prefilled syringes. The tip cap and rubber plunger stopper of the prefilled syringe are not made with natural rubber latex.
FLUARIX is a vaccine prepared from influenza viruses propagated in embryonated chicken eggs. Each of the influenza viruses is produced and purified separately. The vaccine is formulated from the 3 split inactivated virus solutions. FLUARIX has been standardized according to U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS) requirements for the 2024‑2025 influenza season and is formulated to contain 45 micrograms (mcg) hemagglutinin (HA) per 0.5‑mL dose, in the recommended ratio of 15 mcg HA of each of the following 3 strains: A/Victoria/4897/2022 (H1N1) IVR-238, A/Thailand/8/2022 (H3N2) IVR-237 and, B/Austria/1359417/2021 BVR-26 (B-Victoria lineage). FLUARIX is formulated without preservatives. FLUARIX does not contain thimerosal. Each 0.5‑mL dose also contains octoxinol-10 (TRITON X-100) ≤0.085 mg, α-tocopheryl hydrogen succinate ≤0.1 mg, and polysorbate 80 (Tween 80) ≤0.415 mg.

RabAvert is a white, freeze-dried vaccine for reconstitution with the diluent prior to use; the reconstituted vaccine is a clear to slightly opalescent, colorless to slightly pink suspension.</Description>
