"IndicationAndUsage": "Purified Cortrophin Gel is indicated in the following disorders: 1. Rheumatic disorders: As adjunctive therapy for short-term administration (to tide the patient over an acute episode or exacerbation) in: Psoriatic arthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis, including juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (selected cases may require low-dose maintenance therapy). Ankylosing spondylitis. Acute gouty arthritis. 2. Collagen diseases: During an exacerbation or as maintenance therapy in selected cases of: Systemic lupus erythematosus. Systemic dermatomyositis (polymyositis). 3. Dermatologic diseases: Severe erythema multiforme (Stevens-Johnson syndrome). Severe psoriasis. 4. Allergic states: Atopic dermatitis. Serum sickness. 5. Ophthalmic diseases: Severe acute and chronic allergic and inflammatory processes involving the eye and its adnexa such as: Allergic conjunctivitis. Keratitis. Iritis and iridocyclitis. Diffuse posterior uveitis and choroiditis. Optic neuritis. Chorioretinitis. Anterior segment inflammation. 6. Respiratory diseases: Symptomatic sarcoidosis. 7. Edematous states: To induce a diuresis or a remission of proteinuria in the nephrotic syndrome without uremia of the idiopathic type or that due to lupus erythematosus. 8. Nervous system: Acute exacerbations of multiple sclerosis.",
"Description": "Purified Cortrophin Gel is a porcine derived purified corticotropin (ACTH) in a sterile solution of gelatin. It is made up of a complex mixture of ACTH, ACTH related peptides and other porcine pituitary derived peptides. The drug product is a sterile preparation containing 80 USP units per mL and it contains 0.5% phenol (as preservative), 15.0% gelatin (for prolonged activity), water for injection, and the pH is adjusted with hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide. Purified Cortrophin Gel contains the porcine derived ACTH (1-39) with the following amino acid sequence:."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Carmustine for injection is indicated as palliative therapy as a single agent or in established combination therapy in the following. - Brain tumors glioblastoma, brainstem glioma, medulloblastoma, astrocytoma, ependymoma, and metastatic brain tumors. - Multiple myeloma in combination with prednisone. - Relapsed or refractory Hodgkin's lymphoma in combination with other approved drugs. - Relapsed or refractory Non-Hodgkin's lymphomas in combination with other approved drugs.",
"Description": "The active ingredient in carmustine for injection USP, is a nitrosourea with the chemical name1,3-bis(2-chloroethyl)-1-nitrosourea and a molecular weight of 214.06. The drug product is supplied as sterile lyophilized pale yellow flakes or a congealed mass, and it is highly soluble in alcohol and poorly soluble in water. Carmustine for injection USP, is administered by intravenous infusion after reconstitution, as recommended. The structural formula of carmustine USP is. Carmustine for injection USP, is available in 100 mg single dose vials of lyophilized material.Sterile diluent for constitution of carmustine is co-packaged with the active drug product for use in constitution of the lyophile. The diluent is supplied in a vial containing 3 mL of Dehydrated Alcohol Injection, USP."

"Description": "Ciprofloxacin tablets, USP are synthetic antimicrobial agents for oral administration. Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride, USP, a fluoroquinolone, is the monohydrochloride monohydrate salt of 1-cyclopropyl-6-fluoro-1, 4-dihydro-4-oxo-7-(1-piperazinyl)-3‑quinolinecarboxylic acid. It is a faintly yellowish to light yellow crystalline substance with a molecular weight of 385.8. Its molecular formula is C 17H 18FN 3O 3HClH 2O and its chemical structure is as follows:. Ciprofloxacin is 1-cyclopropyl-6-fluoro-1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-7-(1-piperazinyl)-3-quinolinecarboxylic acid. Its molecular formula is C 17H 18FN 3O 3 and its molecular weight is 331.4. It is a faintly yellowish to light yellow crystalline substance and its chemical structure is as follows:. Ciprofloxacin film-coated tablets are available in 250 mg, 500 mg and 750 mg (ciprofloxacin equivalent) strengths. Each ciprofloxacin film-coated tablet contains 250 mg (equivalent to 291 mg ciprofloxacin hydrochloride monohydrate) or 500 mg (equivalent to 582 mg ciprofloxacin hydrochloride monohydrate) or 750 mg of ciprofloxacin (equivalent to 873 mg ciprofloxacin hydrochloride monohydrate). Ciprofloxacin tablets, USP are white to off-white. The inactive ingredients are colloidal silicon dioxide, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, povidone, sodium starch glycolate, and titanium dioxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Atazanavir capsule is indicated in combination with other antiretroviral agents for the treatment of HIV-1 infection in adults and in pediatric patients 6 years and older weighing at least 15 kg. Limitations of Use.",
"Description": "The active ingredient in atazanavir capsules is atazanavir sulfate, which is an HIV-1 protease inhibitor. The chemical name for atazanavir sulfate is (3S,8S,9S,12S)-3,12-Bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)-8-hydroxy-4,11-dioxo-9-(phenylmethyl)-6-[[4-(2-pyridinyl)phenyl]methyl]-2,5,6,10,13-pentaazatetradecanedioic acid dimethyl ester, sulfate (1:1). Its molecular formula is C38H52N6O7H2SO4, which corresponds to a molecular weight of 802.9 (sulfuric acid salt). The free base molecular weight is 704.9. Atazanavir sulfate has the following structural formula: Atazanavir sulfate is a white to pale-yellow crystalline powder. It is slightly soluble in water (4 to 5 mg/mL, free base equivalent) with the pH of a saturated solution in water being about 1.9 at 24 ± 3°C. Atazanavir capsules are available for oral administration in strengths of 150 mg, 200 mg, or 300 mg of atazanavir, which are equivalent to 170.854 mg, 227.805 mg, or 341.708 mg of atazanavir sulfate, respectively. The capsules also contain the following inactive ingredients: crospovidone, lactose monohydrate, and magnesium stearate. The capsule shells contain the following inactive ingredients: FD&C blue 2, gelatin, iron oxide black, iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow, and titanium dioxide. The capsules are printed with ink containing black iron oxide, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, shellac, and titanium dioxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Flucytosine capsules are indicated only in the treatment of serious infections caused by susceptible strains of Candida and/or Cryptococcus. Candida: Septicemia, endocarditis and urinary system infections have been effectively treated with flucytosine. Limited trials in pulmonary infections justify the use of flucytosine. Cryptococcus: Meningitis and pulmonary infections have been treated effectively. Studies in septicemias and urinary tract infections are limited, but good responses have been reported. Flucytosine capsules should be used in combination with amphotericin B for the treatment of systemic candidiasis and cryptococcosis because of the emergence of resistance to Flucytosine capsules (see MICROBIOLOGY).",

The imprinting ink Tekprint SW-9008 Black contains, black iron oxide, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol and shellac. Chemically, flucytosine is 5-fluorocytosine, a fluorinated pyrimidine which is related to fluorouracil and floxuridine. It is a white to off-white powder with a molecular weight of 129.09 and the following structural formula. FDA approved dissolution specification differs from the USP dissolution specification."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Tramadol hydrochloride extended-release tablets are indicated for the management of severe and persistent pain that requires an opioid analgesic and that cannot be adequately treated with alternative options, including immediate-release opioids. Limitations of Use Because of the risks of addiction, abuse, misuse, overdose, and death, which can occur at any dosages or duration, and persist over the course of therapy, [see Warnings and Precautions (5.1)], reserve opioid analgesics, including tramadol hydrochloride extended-release tablets, for use in patients for whom alternative treatment options are ineffective, not tolerated or would be otherwise inadequate to provide sufficient management of pain. "Description": "Tramadol hydrochloride is an opioid agonist in an extended-release tablet formulation for oral use. The chemical name is (±)cis-2-[(dimethylamino) methyl]-1-(3-methoxyphenyl) cyclohexanol hydrochloride. Its structural formula is. The molecular weight of tramadol hydrochloride is 299.84. It is a white, crystalline powder that is freely soluble in water and methanol, very slightly soluble in acetone and has a pKa of 9.41. The n-octanol/water log partition coefficient (logP) is 1.35 at pH 7. Tramadol hydrochloride extended-release tablets, USP contain 100 mg, 200 mg or 300 mg of tramadol hydrochloride, USP in an extended-release formulation. The tablets are white in color and contain the inactive ingredients pregelatinized maize starch, hypromellose, mannitol, magnesium stearate, cellulose acetate and polyethylene glycol. Imprinting ink contains, shellac glaze, iron oxide black, N-butyl alcohol, ammonium hydroxide and propylene glycol. Meets USP dissolution test 4."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Fentanyl transdermal system is indicated for the management of severe and persistent pain in opioid-tolerant patients, that requires an opioid analgesic and that cannot be adequately treated with alternative options, including immediate-release opioids. Patients considered opioid-tolerant are those who are taking, for one week or longer, at least 60 mg morphine per day, 25 mcg transdermal fentanyl per hour, 30 mg oral oxycodone per day, 8 mg oral hydromorphone per day, 25 mg oral oxymorphone per day, 60 mg oral hydrocodone per day, or an equianalgesic dose of another opioid. The molecular weight of fentanyl base is 336.5, and the molecular formula is C 22H 28N 2O. The n-octanol: water partition coefficient is 860:1. The pKa is 8.4. The chemical name is N-Phenyl-N-(1-(2-phenylethyl)-4-piperidinyl) propanamide. The structural formula is. Fentanyl transdermal system is a rectangular translucent system with rounded corners. The product name, “FENTANYL” and dosage strength are printed in green on each system. Each system is comprised of a clear polyethylene terephthalate (PET) release liner and two functional layers. Proceeding from the outer surface toward the surface adhering to skin, these functional layers are. 1) a translucent backing layer of ethylene vinyl acetate/polyethylene terephthalate (EVA/PET) film with green print; 2) a drug-in-adhesive layer containing fentanyl, acrylate copolymer adhesive, and methyl laurate. "IndicationAndUsage": "XOFLUZA is an influenza virus polymerase acidic (PA) endonuclease inhibitor indicated for: 1 Treatment of acute uncomplicated influenza in patients 5 years of age and older who have been symptomatic for no more than 48 hours and who are otherwise healthy or at high risk of developing influenza-related complications. (1.1), 2 Post-exposure prophylaxis of influenza in patients 5 years of age and older following contact with an individual who has influenza. (1.2).",
"Description": "Baloxavir marboxil is an influenza virus PA endonuclease inhibitor. The active component of XOFLUZA is baloxavir marboxil. The chemical name of baloxavir marboxil is ({(12aR)-12-[(11S)-7,8-Difluoro-6,11-dihydrodibenzo[b,e]thiepin-11-yl]-6,8-dioxo-3,4,6,8,12,12a-hexahydro-1H-[1,4]oxazino[3,4-c]pyrido[2,1-f][1,2,4]triazin-7-yl}oxy)methyl methyl carbonate. The empirical formula of baloxavir marboxil is C27H23F2N3O7S, and the chemical structure is shown below. Baloxavir marboxil has a molecular mass of 571.55 grams per mole and a partition coefficient (log P) of 2.26. It is freely soluble in dimethylsulfoxide, soluble in acetonitrile, slightly soluble in methanol and ethanol, and practically insoluble in water. XOFLUZA is supplied as tablets and for oral suspension (in packets and in bottles). XOFLUZA tablets are white to light yellow, film-coated for oral administration. The 40 mg film-coated tablet contains 40 mg of baloxavir marboxil, and the 80 mg film-coated tablet contains 80 mg of baloxavir marboxil. The inactive ingredients of XOFLUZA tablets are: croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone K25, sodium stearyl fumarate, talc, and titanium dioxide. XOFLUZA for oral suspension (packets) is supplied as white to light yellow granules in a packet. Each packet contains either 30 mg or 40 mg of baloxavir marboxil. The granules must be reconstituted in about 15 to 20 mL of room temperature drinking water. The inactive ingredients are: hypromellose, maltitol, mannitol, povidone K25, silicon dioxide, sodium chloride, strawberry flavor, sucralose, and talc. XOFLUZA for oral suspension (bottles) is supplied as white to light yellow granules in an amber glass bottle. Each bottle contains 40 mg (nominal) of baloxavir marboxil. The granules must be reconstituted with 20 mL of drinking water or sterile water to yield a 2 mg/mL greyish white, white to light yellow opaque suspension with strawberry flavor. The inactive ingredients are: hypromellose, maltitol, mannitol, povidone K25, silicon dioxide, sodium chloride, strawberry flavor, sucralose, and talc."

"Description": "Prednisolone oral solution, USP contains prednisolone which is a glucocorticoid. Glucocorticoids are adrenocortical steroids, both naturally occurring and synthetic, which are readily absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. Prednisolone is a white to practically white, odorless, crystalline powder. It is very slightly soluble in water, soluble in methanol and in dioxane; sparingly soluble in acetone and in alcohol, slightly soluble in chloroform. The chemical name for Prednisolone is Pregna-1,4 -diene -3, 20 - dione, 11, 17, 21- trihydroxy-,(11β). Its molecular weight is 360.45. The molecular formula is C 21H 28O 5 and the structural formula is:. Prednisolone oral solution contains 15 mg of prednisolone in each 5 mL. Benzoic acid, 0.1% is added as a preservative. It also contains ethyl alcohol 5% (v/v), ethyl maltol, glycerin, propylene glycol, purified water, sucralose, berry mixed flavor and FD&C red #40."
