"IndicationAndUsage": "Purified Cortrophin Gel is indicated in the following disorders: 1. Rheumatic disorders: As adjunctive therapy for short-term administration (to tide the patient over an acute episode or exacerbation) in: Psoriatic arthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis, including juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (selected cases may require low-dose maintenance therapy). Ankylosing spondylitis. Acute gouty arthritis. 2. Collagen diseases: During an exacerbation or as maintenance therapy in selected cases of: Systemic lupus erythematosus. Systemic dermatomyositis (polymyositis). 3. Dermatologic diseases: Severe erythema multiforme (Stevens-Johnson syndrome). Severe psoriasis. 4. Allergic states: Atopic dermatitis. Serum sickness. 5. Ophthalmic diseases: Severe acute and chronic allergic and inflammatory processes involving the eye and its adnexa such as: Allergic conjunctivitis. Keratitis. Iritis and iridocyclitis. Diffuse posterior uveitis and choroiditis. Optic neuritis. Chorioretinitis. Anterior segment inflammation. 6. Respiratory diseases: Symptomatic sarcoidosis. 7. Edematous states: To induce a diuresis or a remission of proteinuria in the nephrotic syndrome without uremia of the idiopathic type or that due to lupus erythematosus. 8. Nervous system: Acute exacerbations of multiple sclerosis.",
"Description": "Purified Cortrophin Gel is a porcine derived purified corticotropin (ACTH) in a sterile solution of gelatin. It is made up of a complex mixture of ACTH, ACTH related peptides and other porcine pituitary derived peptides. The drug product is a sterile preparation containing 80 USP units per mL and it contains 0.5% phenol (as preservative), 15.0% gelatin (for prolonged activity), water for injection, and the pH is adjusted with hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide. Purified Cortrophin Gel contains the porcine derived ACTH (1-39) with the following amino acid sequence:."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Atazanavir capsule is indicated in combination with other antiretroviral agents for the treatment of HIV-1 infection in adults and in pediatric patients 6 years and older weighing at least 15 kg. Limitations of Use.",
"Description": "The active ingredient in atazanavir capsules is atazanavir sulfate, which is an HIV-1 protease inhibitor. The chemical name for atazanavir sulfate is (3S,8S,9S,12S)-3,12-Bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)-8-hydroxy-4,11-dioxo-9-(phenylmethyl)-6-[[4-(2-pyridinyl)phenyl]methyl]-2,5,6,10,13-pentaazatetradecanedioic acid dimethyl ester, sulfate (1:1). Its molecular formula is C38H52N6O7H2SO4, which corresponds to a molecular weight of 802.9 (sulfuric acid salt). The free base molecular weight is 704.9. Atazanavir sulfate has the following structural formula: Atazanavir sulfate is a white to pale-yellow crystalline powder. It is slightly soluble in water (4 to 5 mg/mL, free base equivalent) with the pH of a saturated solution in water being about 1.9 at 24 ± 3°C. Atazanavir capsules are available for oral administration in strengths of 150 mg, 200 mg, or 300 mg of atazanavir, which are equivalent to 170.854 mg, 227.805 mg, or 341.708 mg of atazanavir sulfate, respectively. The capsules also contain the following inactive ingredients: crospovidone, lactose monohydrate, and magnesium stearate. The capsule shells contain the following inactive ingredients: FD&C blue 2, gelatin, iron oxide black, iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow, and titanium dioxide. The capsules are printed with ink containing black iron oxide, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, shellac, and titanium dioxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "SUBSYS is indicated for the management of breakthrough pain in cancer patients 18 years of age and older who are already receiving and who are tolerant to around-the-clock opioid therapy for their underlying persistent cancer pain. Patients considered opioid tolerant are those who are taking for one week or longer, around-the-clock medicine consisting of at least 60 mg of oral morphine per day, at least 25 mcg of transdermal fentanyl per hour, at least 30 mg of oral oxycodone per day, at least 8 mg of oral hydromorphone per day, or at least 25 mg oral oxymorphone per day, or at least 60mg oral hydrocodone per day, or an equianalgesic dose of another opioid daily for a week or longer. Patients must remain on around-the-clock opioids when taking SUBSYS. Limitations of Use: 1 Not for use in opioid non-tolerant patients., 2 Not for use in the management of acute or postoperative pain, including headache/migraine, dental pain, or in the emergency room [see Contraindications ( 4)]. , 3 As part of the Transmucosal Immediate-Release Fentanyl (TIRF) REMS ACCESS Program, SUBSYS may be dispensed only to outpatients enrolled in the program. [see Warnings and Precautions ( 5.7)] . For inpatient administration of SUBSYS, patient enrollment is not required. .",
"Description": "SUBSYS (fentanyl sublingual spray) is an opioid agonist, available as a sublingual spray designed to deliver doses of 100, 200, 400, 600, 800, 1200 and 1600 mcg of fentanyl. The chemical name of fentanyl is N-phenyl-N-[1-(2-phenylethyl)-4-piperidinyl]propanamide. Fentanyl is a highly lipophilic compound (octanol-water partition coefficient at pH 7.4 is 860:1) that is freely soluble in ethanol and methanol and practically insoluble in water (1:40). The molecular weight of the free base is 336.47. The pKa is 8.4. The inactive ingredients in SUBSYS include: dehydrated alcohol 63.6% (V/V), purified water, propylene glycol, xylitol, and L-menthol."

"Description": "Baloxavir marboxil is an influenza virus PA endonuclease inhibitor. The active component of XOFLUZA is baloxavir marboxil. The chemical name of baloxavir marboxil is ({(12aR)-12-[(11S)-7,8-Difluoro-6,11-dihydrodibenzo[b,e]thiepin-11-yl]-6,8-dioxo-3,4,6,8,12,12a-hexahydro-1H-[1,4]oxazino[3,4-c]pyrido[2,1-f][1,2,4]triazin-7-yl}oxy)methyl methyl carbonate. The empirical formula of baloxavir marboxil is C27H23F2N3O7S, and the chemical structure is shown below. Baloxavir marboxil has a molecular mass of 571.55 grams per mole and a partition coefficient (log P) of 2.26. It is freely soluble in dimethylsulfoxide, soluble in acetonitrile, slightly soluble in methanol and ethanol, and practically insoluble in water. XOFLUZA is supplied as tablets and for oral suspension (in packets and in bottles). XOFLUZA tablets are white to light yellow, film-coated for oral administration. The 40 mg film-coated tablet contains 40 mg of baloxavir marboxil, and the 80 mg film-coated tablet contains 80 mg of baloxavir marboxil. The inactive ingredients of XOFLUZA tablets are: croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone K25, sodium stearyl fumarate, talc, and titanium dioxide. XOFLUZA for oral suspension (packets) is supplied as white to light yellow granules in a packet. Each packet contains either 30 mg or 40 mg of baloxavir marboxil. The granules must be reconstituted in about 15 to 20 mL of room temperature drinking water. The inactive ingredients are: hypromellose, maltitol, mannitol, povidone K25, silicon dioxide, sodium chloride, strawberry flavor, sucralose, and talc. XOFLUZA for oral suspension (bottles) is supplied as white to light yellow granules in an amber glass bottle. Each bottle contains 40 mg (nominal) of baloxavir marboxil. The granules must be reconstituted with 20 mL of drinking water or sterile water to yield a 2 mg/mL greyish white, white to light yellow opaque suspension with strawberry flavor. "IndicationAndUsage": "Prednisolone Oral Solution, USP is indicated in the following conditions. 1. Endocrine Disorders. Primary or secondary adrenocortical insufficiency (hydrocortisone or cortisone is the first choice: synthetic analogs may be used in conjunction with mineralocorticoids where applicable; in infancy mineralocorticoid supplementation is of particular importance). Congenital adrenal hyperplasia Nonsuppurative thyroiditis Hypercalcemia associated with cancer. 2. Rheumatic Disorders. As adjunctive therapy for short-term administration (to tide the patient over an acute episode or exacerbation) in. Psoriatic arthritis Rheumatoid arthritis, including juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (selected cases may require low-dose maintenance therapy) Ankylosing spondylitis Acute and subacute bursitis Acute nonspecific tenosynovitis Acute gouty arthritis Post-traumatic osteoarthritis Synovitis of osteoarthritis Epicondylitis. 3. Glucocorticoids are adrenocortical steroids, both naturally occurring and synthetic, which are readily absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. Prednisolone is a white to practically white, odorless, crystalline powder. It is very slightly soluble in water, soluble in methanol and in dioxane; sparingly soluble in acetone and in alcohol, slightly soluble in chloroform. The chemical name for Prednisolone is Pregna-1,4 -diene -3, 20 - dione, 11, 17, 21- trihydroxy-,(11β). Its molecular weight is 360.45. The molecular formula is C 21H 28O 5 and the structural formula is:. Prednisolone oral solution contains 15 mg of prednisolone in each 5 mL. Benzoic acid, 0.1% is added as a preservative. It also contains ethyl alcohol 5% (v/v), ethyl maltol, glycerin, propylene glycol, purified water, sucralose, berry mixed flavor and FD&C red #40."

"Description": "Purified Cortrophin Gel is a porcine derived purified corticotropin (ACTH) in a sterile solution of gelatin. It is made up of a complex mixture of ACTH, ACTH related peptides and other porcine pituitary derived peptides. The drug product is a sterile preparation containing 80 USP units per mL and it contains 0.5% phenol (as preservative), 15.0% gelatin (for prolonged activity), water for injection, and the pH is adjusted with hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide. Purified Cortrophin Gel contains the porcine derived ACTH (1-39) with the following amino acid sequence."

"IndicationAndUsage": "SUBSYS is indicated for the management of breakthrough pain in cancer patients 18 years of age and older who are already receiving and who are tolerant to around-the-clock opioid therapy for their underlying persistent cancer pain. Patients considered opioid tolerant are those who are taking for one week or longer, around-the-clock medicine consisting of at least 60 mg of oral morphine per day, at least 25 mcg of transdermal fentanyl per hour, at least 30 mg of oral oxycodone per day, at least 8 mg of oral hydromorphone per day, or at least 25 mg oral oxymorphone per day, or at least 60mg oral hydrocodone per day, or an equianalgesic dose of another opioid daily for a week or longer. Patients must remain on around-the-clock opioids when taking SUBSYS. Limitations of Use: 1 Not for use in opioid non-tolerant patients., 2 Not for use in the management of acute or postoperative pain, including headache/migraine, dental pain, or in the emergency room [see Contraindications ( 4)]. , 3 As part of the Transmucosal Immediate-Release Fentanyl (TIRF) REMS, SUBSYS may be dispensed by outpatient pharmacies only to outpatients enrolled in the program.
