"IndicationAndUsage": "Allergenic extracts are indicated for use in diagnostic testing and as part of a treatment regime for allergic disease, as established by allergy history and skin test reactivity. Allergenic extracts are indicated for the treatment of allergen specific allergic disease for use as hyposensitization or immunotherapy when avoidance of specific allergens can not be attained. The use of allergenic extracts for therapeutic purpose has been established by well-controlled clinical studies. Allergenic extracts may be used as adjunctive therapy along with pharmacotherapy which includes antihistamines, corticosteroids, and cromoglycate, and avoidance measures. Allergenic extracts for therapeutic use should be given using only the allergen selection to which the patient is allergic, has a history of exposure and are likely to be exposed to again.",
"Description": "Allergenic extracts are sterile solutions consisting of the extractable components from various biological sources including pollens, inhalants, molds, animal epidermals and insects. Aqueous extracts are prepared using cocas fluid containing NaCl 0.5%, NaHCO3 0.0275%, WFI, preservative 0.4% Phenol. Glycerinated allergenic extracts are prepared with cocas fluid and glycerin to produce a 50% (v/v) allergenic extract. Allergenic Extracts are supplied as concentrations designated as protein nitrogen units (PNU) or weight/volume (w/v) ratio. Standardized extracts are designated in Bioequivalent Allergy Units (BAU) or Allergy Units (AU). (See product insert for standardized extracts). For diagnostic purposes, allergenic extracts are to be administered by prick-puncture or intradermal routes. Allergenic extracts are administered subcutaneously for immunotherapy injections."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Mirtazapine tablets are indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD) in adults [see Clinical Studies (14)].",
"Description": "Mirtazapine tablets, USP contain mirtazapine USP. Mirtazapine has a tetracyclic chemical structure and belongs to the piperazino-azepine group of compounds. It is designated 1,2,3,4,10,14b-hexahydro-2-methylpyrazino [2,1-a] pyrido [2,3-c][2] benzazepine and has the molecular formula of C17H19N3. Its molecular weight is 265.35. The structural formula is the following and it is the racemic mixture. Mirtazapine is a white to creamy white crystalline powder which is practically insoluble in water. Mirtazapine tablets, USP are available for oral administration as scored film-coated tablets containing 15 or 30 mg of mirtazapine USP, and unscored film-coated tablets containing 7.5 or 45 mg of mirtazapine USP. Each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, corn starch, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, and titanium dioxide. In addition, the 15 mg contains iron oxide yellow and 30 mg contains iron oxide red, iron oxide black, and iron oxide yellow."

"IndicationAndUsage": "The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for the emergency use of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine (2023-2024 Formula) for active immunization to prevent coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) in individuals 6 months through 11 years of age. Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine (2023-2024 Formula), which is supplied in multiple dose vials with yellow caps and labels with yellow borders, and in single dose vials with blue caps and labels with blue borders, is not licensed for any use. Justification for Emergency Use of Vaccines During the COVID-19 Pandemic. There is currently an outbreak of COVID-19 caused by SARS-CoV-2. "Description": "The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine does not contain preservative. The vial stoppers are not made with natural rubber latex. Multiple Dose Vials with Yellow Caps and Labels with Yellow Borders. The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine (2023-2024 Formula) in multiple dose vials with yellow caps and labels with yellow borders is supplied as a frozen suspension; each vial must be diluted with 1.1 mL of sterile 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection, USP prior to use to form the vaccine. After dilution, each 0.3 mL dose is formulated to contain 3 mcg of nucleoside-modified messenger RNA (modRNA) encoding the viral spike (S) glycoprotein of SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant lineage XBB.1.5 (Omicron XBB.1.5). Each 0.3 mL dose also includes the following ingredients: lipids (0.04 mg ((4-hydroxybutyl)azanediyl)bis(hexane-6,1-diyl)bis(2-hexyldecanoate), 0.005 mg 2[(polyethylene glycol)-2000]-N,N-ditetradecylacetamide, 0.01 mg 1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine, and 0.02 mg cholesterol), 9.4 mg sucrose, 0.02 mg tromethamine, and 0.12 mg tromethamine hydrochloride. "IndicationAndUsage": "EMRELIS is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with locally advanced or metastatic, non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with high c-Met protein overexpression [≥50% of tumor cells with strong (3+) staining], as determined by an FDA-approved test [see Dosage and Administration (2.1)], who have received a prior systemic therapy. This indication is approved under accelerated approval based on overall response rate (ORR) and duration of response (DOR) [see Clinical Studies (14)]. Continued approval for this indication may be contingent upon verification and description of clinical benefit in a confirmatory trial(s).",
"Description": "Telisotuzumab vedotin-tllv is a c-Met directed antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) comprised of a humanized immunoglobulin G1 kappa (IgG1κ) monoclonal antibody conjugated to the small molecule microtubule-disrupting agent, monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE), via a protease-cleavable valine-citrulline (vc) linker. The antibody is produced in a mammalian cell line (Chinese hamster ovary) and the drug-linker is produced by chemical synthesis. Each monoclonal antibody molecule carries an average of 3 MMAE molecules. Telisotuzumab vedotin-tllv has an approximate molecular weight of 152 kDa. EMRELIS (telisotuzumab vedotin-tllv) for injection is a sterile, white to off-white, preservative-free, lyophilized powder in a single-dose vial for reconstitution and dilution prior to intravenous infusion. EMRELIS is supplied as 20 mg per vial or 100 mg per vial and requires reconstitution with Sterile Water for Injection, USP (1.1 mL and 5.2 mL, respectively) to obtain a concentration of 20 mg/mL [see Dosage and Administration (2.4)]. "IndicationAndUsage": "Metronidazole Injection is indicated in the treatment of serious infections caused by susceptible anaerobic bacteria. Indicated surgical procedures should be performed in conjunction with Metronidazole Injection therapy. In a mixed aerobic and anaerobic infection, antibacterial drugs appropriate for the treatment of the aerobic infection should be used in addition to Metronidazole Injection. Metronidazole Injection is effective in Bacteroides fragilis infections resistant to clindamycin, chloramphenicol and penicillin. : 1 Intra-Abdominal Infections, including peritonitis, intra-abdominal abscess and liver abscess, caused by Bacteroides species including the B. fragilis group (B. fragilis, B. distasonis, B. ovatus, B. thetaiotaomicron, B. vulgatus), Clostridium species, Eubacterium species, Peptococcus species and Peptostreptococcus species in adults and pediatric patients less than 4 months of age., 2 Skin and Skin Structure Infections caused by Bacteroides species including the B. fragilis group, Clostridium species, Peptococcus species, Peptostreptococcus species and Fusobacterium species in adults., 3 Gynecologic Infections, including endometritis, endomyometritis, tubo-ovarian abscess and postsurgical vaginal cuff infection, caused by Bacteroides species including the B. fragilis group, Clostridium species, Peptococcus species, Peptostreptococcus species and Fusobacterium species in adults., 4 Bacterial Septicemia caused by Bacteroides species including the B. fragilis group and Clostridium species in adults., 5 Bone and Joint Infections, as adjunctive therapy, caused by Bacteroides species including the B. fragilis group in adults., 6 Central Nervous System (CNS) Infections, including meningitis and brain abscess, caused by Bacteroides species including the B. fragilis group in adults. , 7 Lower Respiratory Tract Infections, including pneumonia, empyema and lung abscess, caused by Bacteroides species including the B. fragilis group in adults., 8 Endocarditis caused by Bacteroides species including the B. fragilis group in adults.",
"Description": "Metronidazole Injection, USP, is a parenteral formulation of the synthetic nitroimidazole antibacterial agent 2-methyl-5-nitro-1H-imidazole-1-ethanol. Metronidazole Injection, USP, in 100 mL VIAFLEX Plus single dose plastic container, is a sterile, nonpyrogenic, iso-osmotic, buffered solution of 500 mg Metronidazole, USP, 790 mg Sodium Chloride, USP, 47.6 mg Dibasic Sodium Phosphate Dried, USP and 22.9 mg Citric Acid Anhydrous, USP. Metronidazole Injection, USP has an osmolarity of 310 mOsmol/L (calc) and a pH of 5.5 (4.5 to 7.0). Each container contains 14 mEq of sodium. The plastic container is fabricated from a specially formulated polyvinyl chloride plastic. Water can permeate from inside the container into the overwrap in amounts insufficient to affect the solution significantly. Solutions in contact with the plastic container can leach out certain of its chemical components in very small amounts within the expiration period, e.g., di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP), up to 5 parts per million. However, the safety of the plastic has been confirmed in tests in animals according to USP biological tests for plastic containers as well as by tissue culture toxicity studies."
