"IndicationAndUsage": "Prednisolone syrup is indicated in the following conditions. 1. Endocrine Disorders. Primary or secondary adrenocortical insufficiency (hydrocortisone or cortisone is the first choice: synthetic analogs may be used in conjunction with mineralocorticoids where applicable; in infancy mineralocorticoid supplementation is of particular importance). Congenital adrenal hyperplasia. Nonsuppurative thyroiditis. Hypercalcemia associated with cancer. 2. Rheumatic Disorders. As adjunctive therapy for short-term administration (to tide the patient over an acute episode or exacerbation) in. Psoriatic arthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis, including juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (selected cases may require low-dose maintenance therapy). Ankylosing spondylitis. Acute and subacute bursitis. Acute nonspecific tenosynovitis. Acute gouty arthritis. Post-traumatic osteoarthritis. Synovitis of osteoarthritis. Epicondylitis. 3. Collagen Diseases. During an exacerbation or as maintenance therapy in selected cases of. Systemic lupus erythematosus. Acute rheumatic carditis. 4. Dermatologic Diseases. Pemphigus. Bullous dermatitis herpetiformis. Severe erythema multiforme. (Stevens-Johnson syndrome). Exfoliative dermatitis. Mycosis fungoides. Severe psoriasis. Severe seborrheic dermatitis. 5. Allergic States. Control of severe or incapacitating allergic conditions intractable to adequate trials of conventional treatment. Seasonal or perennial allergic rhinitis. Bronchial asthma. Contact dermatitis. Atopic dermatitis. Serum sickness. Drug hypersensitivity reactions. 6. Ophthalmic Diseases. Severe acute and chronic allergic and inflammatory processes involving the eye and its adnexa such as. Allergic corneal marginal ulcers. Herpes zoster ophthalmicus. Anterior segment inflammation. Diffuse posterior uveitis and choroiditis. Sympathetic ophthalmia. Allergic conjunctivitis. Keratitis. Chorioretinitis. Optic neuritis. Iritis and iridocyclitis. 7. Respiratory Diseases. Symptomatic sarcoidosis. Loeffler’s syndrome not manageable by other means. Berylliosis. Fulminating or disseminated pulmonary tuberculosis when used concurrently with appropriate chemotherapy. Aspiration pneumonitis. 8. Hematologic Disorders. Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura in adults. Secondary thrombocytopenia in adults. Acquired (autoimmune) hemolytic anemia. Erythroblastopenia (RBC anemia). Congenital (erythroid) hypoplastic anemia. 9. Neoplastic Diseases. For palliative management of. Leukemias and lymphomas in adults. Acute leukemia of childhood. 10. Edematous States. To induce a diuresis or remission of proteinuria in the nephrotic syndrome, without uremia, of the idiopathic type or that due to lupus erythematosus. 11. Gastrointestinal Diseases. To tide the patient over a critical period of the disease in. Ulcerative colitis. Regional enteritis. 12. Miscellaneous. Tuberculous meningitis with subarachnoid block or impending block used concurrently with appropriate antituberculous chemotherapy. Trichinosis with neurologic or myocardial involvement. In addition to the above indications prednisolone syrup is indicated for systemic dermatomyositis (polymyositis).",
"Description": "Prednisolone Syrup, USP contains prednisolone which is a glucocorticoid. Glucocorticoids are adrenocortical steroids, both naturally occurring and synthetic, which are readily absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. Prednisolone is a white to practically white, odorless, crystalline powder. It is very slightly soluble in water; soluble in methanol and in dioxane; sparingly soluble in acetone and in alcohol; slightly soluble in chloroform. The chemical name for Prednisolone is Pregna- 1,4-diene-3,20-dione,11,17,21- trihydroxy-,(11β)-. Prednisolone Syrup, USP contains 15 mg of prednisolone in each 5 mL. Benzoic acid, 0.1% is added as a preservative. It also contains alcohol 5%, citric acid, edetate disodium, ethyl maltol, flavors, glycerin, ammoniated glycyrrhizin, propylene glycol, purified water, sodium saccharin, sucrose, FD&C blue #1 and FD&C red #40."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Phentermine hydrochloride, USP 37.5 mg is indicated as short-term (a few weeks) adjunct in a regimen of weight reduction based on exercise, behavioral modification and caloric restriction in the management of exogenous obesity for patients with an initial body mass index greater than or equal to 30 kg/m2, or greater than or equal to 27 kg/m2 in the presence of other risk factors (e.g., controlled hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia). Below is a chart of Body Mass Index (BMI) based on various heights and weights. BMI is calculated by taking the patient’s weight, in kilograms (kg), divided by the patient’s height, in meters (m), squared. Metric conversions are as follows: pounds ÷ 2.2 = kg; inches x 0.0254 = meters. The limited usefulness of agents of this class, including Phentermine hydrochloride, [see CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY ( 12.1, 12.2)] should be measured against possible risk factors inherent in their use such as those described below.",
"Description": "Phentermine hydrochloride is a sympathomimetic amine anorectic. Its chemical name is α,α,-dimethylphenethylamine hydrochloride. The structural formula is as follows. Phentermine hydrochloride is a white, odorless, hygroscopic, crystalline powder which is soluble in water and lower alcohols, slightly soluble in chloroform and insoluble in ether. Phentermine hydrochloride capsules USP is available as an oral capsule containing 15 mg or 30 mg of phentermine hydrochloride (equivalent to 12 mg or 24 mg of phentermine base). Each phentermine hydrochloride capsule contains the following inactive ingredients: starch 1500, lactose monohydrate and magnesium stearate. Phentermine hydrochloride capsules 15 mg also contain D&C yellow No. 10, FD&C red No. 3, FD&C blue No 1, FD&C red No. 40, gelatin and titanium dioxide. Phentermine hydrochloride capsules 30 mg also contain D&C yellow No. 10, FD&C red No. 3, gelatin and titanium dioxide. The imprinting ink for the capsules contains the following ingredients: shellac glaze in ethanol, iron oxide black, n-butyl alcohol, propylene glycol, SDA 3A alcohol, methanol, FD&C blue No. 2, FD&C red No. 40, FD &C blue No. 1, and D&C yellow No. 10."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Risperidone tablets are an atypical antipsychotic indicated for: 1 Treatment of schizophrenia ( 1.1) , 2 As monotherapy or adjunctive therapy with lithium or valproate, for the treatment of acute manic or mixed episodes associated with Bipolar I Disorder ( 1.2) , 3 Treatment of irritability associated with autistic disorder ( 1.3) .",
"Description": "Risperidone tablets, USP contains risperidone USP, an atypical antipsychotic belonging to the chemical class of benzisoxazole derivatives. The chemical designation is 3-[2-[4-(6-fluoro-1,2-benzisoxazol-3-yl)-1-piperidinyl]ethyl]-6,7,8,9-tetrahydro-2-methyl-4H-pyrido[1,2-a]pyrimidin-4-one. Its molecular formula is C 23H 27FN 4O 2 and its molecular weight is 410.48. The structural formula is:. Risperidone, USP is a white to almost white powder. Soluble in methylene dichloride, sparingly soluble in alcohol It is practically insoluble in water. Risperidone tablets, USP are for oral administration and available in 0.25 mg (yellow), 0.5 mg (brown), 1 mg (white), 2 mg (orange), 3 mg (yellow), and 4 mg (green) strengths. Risperidone tablets contain the following inactive ingredients: lactose anhydrous, NF, microcrystalline cellulose, NF, magnesium stearate, NF, and pregelatinized starch, NF. Tablets of 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, 1 mg, 2 mg, 3 mg, and 4 mg also contain hypromellose and macrogol. The 0.25 mg tablets contain D&C Yellow #10 Aluminum Lake, FD&C Yellow #6 Aluminum Lake, Ferrosoferric Oxide, Iron Oxide Yellow and Titanium Dioxide; 0.5 mg tablets contain Iron Oxide Red and Titanium Dioxide; 2 mg tablets contain FD&C Yellow #6 Aluminum Lake and Titanium Dioxide; the 3 mg and 4 mg tablets contain FD&C Yellow #5 Aluminum Lake and Titanium Dioxide; the 3 mg tablets contain FD&C Blue #2 Aluminum Lake and the 4 mg tablets contain FD&C Blue #1 Aluminum Lake."

"Description": "The active ingredient in BYSANTI is milsaperidone, an atypical antipsychotic that is in the piperidinyl-benzisoxazole derivative chemical class. Its chemical name is benzenemethanol, 4-[3-[4-(6-fluoro-1,2-benzisoxazol-3-yl)-1-piperidinyl]propoxy]-3-methoxy-α- methyl-, (αS)-. Its molecular formula is C24H29FN2O4 and its molecular weight is 428.50. Milsaperidone is a white to off-white finely crystalline powder. The structural formula of milsaperidone is. Milsaperidone is a white to off-white finely crystalline powder. BYSANTI (milsaperidone) tablets are for oral administration only. Coated tablets contain 1 mg, 2 mg, 4 mg, 6 mg, 8 mg, 10 mg, or 12 mg of milsaperidone. Inactive ingredients are the following: colloidal silicon dioxide, crospovidone, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, and water (removed during processing)."
