"Description": "Vancomycin Hydrochloride for Injection contains the hydrochloride salt of vancomycin, a tricyclic glycopeptide antibacterial derived from Amycolatopsis orientalis (formerly Nocardia orientalis). The chemical name for vancomycin hydrochloride is (Sa)-(3S,6R,7R,22R,23S,26S,36R,38aR)-44-[[2-O-(3-Amino-2,3,6-trideoxy-3-C-methyl-α-L-lyxo-hexopyranosyl)-β-D-glucopyranosyl]oxy]-3-(carbamoylmethyl)-10,19-dichloro-2,3,4,5,6,7,23,24,25,26,36,37,38,38a-tetradecahydro-7,22,28,30,32-pentahydroxy-6-[(2R)-4-methyl-2-(methylamino)valeramido]-2,5,24,38,39-pentaoxo-22H-8,11:18,21-dietheno-23,36-(iminomethano)-13,16:31,35-dimetheno-1H,16H-[l,6,9]oxadiazacyclohexadecino[4,5-m][10,2,16]-benzoxadiazacyclotetracosine-26-carboxylic acid, monohydrochloride. The molecular formula is C66H75Cl2N9O24 HCl and the molecular weight is 1,485.71. Vancomycin hydrochloride has the following structural formula. Vancomycin Hydrochloride for Injection is a sterile, preservative-free, white, almost white to tan to brown, spray-dried powder, for preparing intravenous (IV) infusions, in single-dose vials each containing the equivalent of 500 mg, 750 mg, 1 g, 1.25 g or 1.5 g vancomycin base. Each 500 mg vial contains 500 mg vancomycin (equivalent to 513 mg vancomycin hydrochloride), 125 mg trehalose, 0.05 mg polysorbate 80, and hydrochloric acid used to adjust the pH. Each 750 mg vial contains 750 mg vancomycin (equivalent to 769 mg vancomycin hydrochloride), 187.5 mg trehalose, 0.075 mg polysorbate 80, and hydrochloric acid used to adjust the pH. Each 1 g vial contains 1 g vancomycin (equivalent to 1.025 g vancomycin hydrochloride), 250 mg trehalose, 0.1 mg polysorbate 80, and hydrochloric acid used to adjust the pH. Each 1.25 g vial contains 1.25 g vancomycin (equivalent to 1.28 g vancomycin hydrochloride), 312.5 mg trehalose, 0.125 mg polysorbate 80, and hydrochloric acid used to adjust the pH. Each 1.5 g vial contains 1.5 g vancomycin (equivalent to 1.54 g vancomycin hydrochloride), 375 mg trehalose, 0.15 mg polysorbate 80, and hydrochloric acid used to adjust the pH. Vancomycin Hydrochloride for Injection is a sterile, preservative-free, white, almost white to tan to brown, spray-dried powder, for preparing intravenous (IV) infusions, in single-dose vials each containing the equivalent of 500 mg, 750 mg, 1 g, 1.25 g or 1.5 g vancomycin base. Each 500 mg vial contains 500 mg vancomycin (equivalent to 513 mg vancomycin hydrochloride), 125 mg trehalose, 0.05 mg polysorbate 80, and hydrochloric acid used to adjust the pH. Each 750 mg vial contains 750 mg vancomycin (equivalent to 769 mg vancomycin hydrochloride), 187.5 mg trehalose, 0.075 mg polysorbate 80, and hydrochloric acid used to adjust the pH. Each 1 g vial contains 1 g vancomycin (equivalent to 1.025 g vancomycin hydrochloride), 250 mg trehalose, 0.1 mg polysorbate 80, and hydrochloric acid used to adjust the pH. Each 1.25 g vial contains 1.25 g vancomycin (equivalent to 1.28 g vancomycin hydrochloride), 312.5 mg trehalose, 0.125 mg polysorbate 80, and hydrochloric acid used to adjust the pH. Each 1.5 g vial contains 1.5 g vancomycin (equivalent to 1.54 g vancomycin hydrochloride), 375 mg trehalose, 0.15 mg polysorbate 80, and hydrochloric acid used to adjust the pH. "Description": "Saxagliptin is an orally-active inhibitor of the DPP-4 enzyme. Saxagliptin hydrochloride dihydrate is described chemically as (1S,3S,5S)-2-[(2S)-Amino-(3-hydroxytricyclo [3.3.1.13,7]dec-1-yl)acetyl]-2-azabicyclo[3.1.0] hexane-3-carbonitrile hydrochloride dihydrate or (1S,3S,5S)-2-[(2S)-2-Amino-2-(3-hydroxyadamantan-1-yl)acetyl]-2-azabicyclo [3.1.0] hexane-3-carbonitrile hydrochloride dihydrate. The empirical formula is C18H25N3O2HCl2H2O and the molecular weight is 387.92. The structural formula is. Saxagliptin hydrochloride dihydrate is a white to off-white, non-hygroscopic, crystalline powder. It is sparingly soluble in water at 24°C ± 3°C, slightly soluble in ethyl acetate, and soluble in methanol, ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, acetonitrile, acetone, and polyethylene glycol 400 (PEG 400). Each film-coated tablet of saxagliptin for oral use contains either 3.075 mg saxagliptin hydrochloride dihydrate equivalent to 2.5 mg saxagliptin or 6.149 mg saxagliptin hydrochloride dihydrate equivalent to 5 mg saxagliptin and the following inactive ingredients: croscarmellose sodium, hydrochloric acid, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol, sodium hydroxide, talc and titanium dioxide. The 2.5 mg tablets also contain yellow iron oxide. The imprinting ink contains ammonium hydroxide, black iron oxide, propylene glycol and shellac glaze."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Oral contraceptives are indicated for the prevention of pregnancy in women who elect to use this product as a method of contraception. Oral contraceptives are highly effective. Table I lists the typical accidental pregnancy rates for users of combination oral contraceptives and other methods of contraception. The efficacy of these contraceptive methods, except sterilization and the IUD, depends upon the reliability with which they are used. "Description": "Each Enpresse® (levonorgestrel and ethinyl estradiol tablets USP – triphasic regimen) cycle of 28 tablets consists of three different drug phases as follows: Phase 1 comprised of 6 pink tablets, each containing 0.050 mg of levonorgestrel (d(-)-13 beta-ethyl-17-alpha-ethinyl-17-beta-hydroxygon-4-en-3-one), a totally synthetic progestogen, and 0.030 mg of ethinyl estradiol (19-nor-17α-pregna-1,3,5(10)-trien-20-yne-3, 17-diol); phase 2 comprised of 5 white tablets, each containing 0.075 mg levonorgestrel and 0.040 mg ethinyl estradiol; and phase 3 comprised of 10 orange tablets, each containing 0.125 mg levonorgestrel and 0.030 mg ethinyl estradiol; then followed by 7 light-green inert tablets. The inactive ingredients present are hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, and pregelatinized corn starch.
