"IndicationAndUsage": "Carboprost tromethamine injection USP is indicated for aborting pregnancy between the 13th and 20th weeks of gestation as calculated from the first day of the last normal menstrual period and in the following conditions related to second trimester abortion: 1 1.Failure of expulsion of the fetus during the course of treatment by another method;, 2 2.Premature rupture of membranes in intrauterine methods with loss of drug and insufficient or absent uterine activity;, 3 3.Requirement of a repeat intrauterine instillation of drug for expulsion of the fetus;, 4 4.Inadvertent or spontaneous rupture of membranes in the presence of a previable fetus and absence of adequate activity for expulsion.",
"Description": "Carboprost Tromethamine Injection USP, an oxytocic, contains the tromethamine salt of the (15S)-15 methyl analogue of naturally occurring prostaglandin F2α in a solution suitable for intramuscular injection. Carboprost tromethamine is the established name for the active ingredient in Carboprost Tromethamine Injection USP. Four other chemical names are: 1 1.(15S)-15-methyl prostaglandin F2α tromethamine salt, 2 2.7-(3α,5α-dihydroxy-2ß-[(3S)-3-hydroxy-3-methyl-trans-1-octenyl]-1α-cyclopentyl]-cis-5-heptenoic acid compound with 2-amino-2-(hydroxymethyl)-1,3-propanediol, 3 3.(15S)-9α,11α,15-trihydroxy-15-methylprosta-cis-5, trans-13-dienoic acid tromethamine salt, 4 4.(15S)-15-methyl PGF2α-THAM."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Fluvoxamine Maleate Tablets are indicated for the treatment of obsessions and compulsions in patients with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) (1).",
"Description": "Fluvoxamine maleate is a selective serotonin (5-HT) reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) belonging to the chemical series, the 2-aminoethyl oxime ethers of aralkylketones. It is chemically designated as 5-methoxy-4′-(trifluoromethyl)valerophenone-(E)-O-(2-aminoethyl)oxime maleate (1:1) and has the empirical formula C15H21O2N2F3∙C4H4O4. Its molecular weight is 434.41. The structural formula is. Fluvoxamine maleate is a white to off white, odorless, crystalline powder which is sparingly soluble in water, freely soluble in ethanol and chloroform and practically insoluble in diethyl ether. Fluvoxamine Maleate Tablets are available in 25 mg, 50 mg and 100 mg strengths for oral administration. In addition to the active ingredient, fluvoxamine maleate, each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: mannitol, polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol, pregelatinized starch (potato), silicon dioxide, sodium stearyl fumarate, starch (corn), talc, and titanium dioxide. The 50 mg and 100 mg tablets also contain synthetic iron oxides."

"Description": "Metoclopramide hydrochloride, the active ingredient of Reglan, is a dopamine-2 receptor antagonist. Metoclopramide hydrochloride (metoclopramide monohydrochloride monohydrate) is a white crystalline, odorless substance, freely soluble in water. Its chemical name is 4-amino-5-chloro-N-[2-(diethylamino)ethyl]-2-methoxy benzamide monohydrochloride monohydrate. The molecular formula is C14H22ClN3O2HClH2O. Its molecular weight is 354.3. The structural formula is. Reglan tablets are for oral administration. Reglan is available in 5 mg and 10 mg tablets. : 1 Each Reglan 5 mg tablet contains 5 mg metoclopramide (equivalent to 5.91 mg of metoclopramide hydrochloride USP). Inactive ingredients consist of corn starch, D&C Yellow 10 Aluminum Lake, FD&C Blue 1 Aluminum Lake, lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, silicon dioxide, and stearic acid., 2 Each Reglan 10 mg tablet contains 10 mg metoclopramide (equivalent to 11.82 mg metoclopramide hydrochloride USP). Inactive ingredients consist of magnesium stearate, mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, and stearic acid."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Oxycodone Hydrochloride Capsules are an opioid agonist indicated in adults for the management of pain severe enough to require an opioid analgesic and for which alternative treatments are inadequate. : 1 Limitations of UseBecause of the risks of addiction, abuse, and misuse, overdose, and death, which can occur at any dosage or duration, and persist over the course of therapy [see Warnings and Precautions (5.1)], reserve opioid analgesics, including Oxycodone Hydrochloride Capsules, for use in patients for whom alternative treatment options are ineffective, not tolerated, or would be otherwise inadequate to provide sufficient management of pain.",
"Description": "Oxycodone Hydrochloride Capsules are an agonist, available as a hard gelatin capsule 5 mg for oral administration. The chemical name is (5R,9R,13S,14S)-4,5α-epoxy-14-hydroxy-3-methoxy-17-methylmorphinan-6-one hydrochloride. The molecular weight is 351.82. Its molecular formula is C18H21NO4∙HCl, and it has the following chemical structure. Oxycodone hydrochloride is a white, odorless crystalline powder derived from the opium alkaloid, thebaine. It is soluble in water and slightly soluble in alcohol. The inactive ingredients in Oxycodone Hydrochloride Capsules 5 mg include: colloidal silicon dioxide, gelatin, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, sodium starch glycolate, FD&C yellow #6, titanium dioxide, yellow iron oxide, shellac glaze, iron oxide black, propylene glycol, and ammonium hydroxide."

It is a nearly white powder almost insoluble in water. Each Lorazepam tablet USP, to be taken orally, contains 0.5 mg, 1 mg, or 2 mg of lorazepam USP. The inactive ingredients present are lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, and low-substituted hydroxypropyl cellulose."

"Description": "Oxcarbazepine Tablets USP are an AED available as 150 mg, 300 mg, and 600 mg film-coated tablets for oral administration. Oxcarbazepine is 10,11-Dihydro-10-oxo- 5H-dibenz[b,f]azepine-5-carboxamide, and its structural formula is. Oxcarbazepine is a white to faintly orange crystalline powder. It is slightly soluble in chloroform, dichloromethane, acetone, and methanol and practically insoluble in ethanol, ether and water. Its molecular weight is 252.27 g/mol. Oxcarbazepine Tablets USP contain the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, crospovidone, hypromellose, iron oxide black, iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, talc, and titanium dioxide. Oxcarbazepine Tablets USP meet USP Organic Impurities Test 2."

Initiate treatment in the hospital.",
"Description": "Propafenone Hydrochloride Tablets USP are an antiarrhythmic drug supplied in scored, film-coated tablets of 150 mg, 225 mg and 300 mg for oral administration. Propafenone has some structural similarities to beta-blocking agents. Chemically, propafenone hydrochloride is 2’-[2-hydroxy-3-(propylamino)-propoxy]-3-phenylpropiophenone hydrochloride, with a molecular weight of 377.92. The molecular formula is C21H27NO3HCl. The structural formula of propafenone hydrochloride is given below:. Propafenone hydrochloride occurs as colorless crystals or white crystalline powder with a very bitter taste. It is slightly soluble in water (20°C), chloroform, and ethanol. The following inactive ingredients are contained in the tablet: corn starch, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, maltodextrin, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polydextrose, polyethylene glycol, povidone, silicon dioxide colloidal, titanium dioxide, and triacetin."

"Description": "Dipyridamole Tablets USP are a platelet inhibitor chemically described as 2,2',2'',2'''-[(4,8-Dipiperidinopyrimido[5,4-d]pyrimidine-2,6-diyl)dinitrilo]-tetraethanol. It has the following structural formula. Dipyridamole is an odorless yellow crystalline powder, having a bitter taste. It is soluble in dilute acids, methanol and chloroform, and practically insoluble in water. Dipyridamole Tablets USP for oral administration contain. Active Ingredient TABLETS 25 mg, 50 mg, and 75 mg: dipyridamole USP 25 mg, 50 mg and 75 mg, respectively. "Description": "Etodolac is a member of the pyranocarboxylic acid group of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Each capsule contains etodolac for oral administration. Etodolac is a racemic mixture of [+]S and [-]R-enantiomers. Etodolac is a white crystalline compound, insoluble in water but soluble in alcohols, chloroform, dimethyl sulfoxide, and aqueous polyethylene glycol. The chemical name is (±)1,8-diethyl-1,3,4,9-tetrahydropyrano-[3,4-b]indole-1-acetic acid. The molecular weight of the base is 287.37. It has a pKa of 4.65 and an n-octanol:water partition coefficient of 11.4 at pH 7.4. The molecular formula for etodolac is C17H21NO3, and it has the following structural formula. Each capsule, for oral administration, contains 200 mg or 300 mg of etodolac USP. The onset of action of oral isosorbide mononitrate is not sufficiently rapid for this product to be useful in aborting an acute anginal episode.",

The chemical name for Isosorbide mononitrate is 1,4:3,6-Dianhydro-D-glucitol 5-nitrate and the compound has the following structural formula. Isosorbide Mononitrate Tablets USP, for oral administration, are available in 10 mg and 20 mg tablets. Each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate, povidone, magnesium stearate, polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol, titanium dioxide, and talc. The 20 mg tablets also contain D&C yellow #10 aluminum lake, FD&C yellow #6 aluminum lake, and FD&C blue #2 aluminum lake. FDA approved dissolution test specifications differ from USP."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Acebutolol Hydrochloride Capsules USP are indicated for the management of hypertension in adults. It may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents, especially thiazide-type diuretics.",
"Description": "Acebutolol hydrochloride USP is a selective, hydrophilic beta-adrenoreceptor blocking agent with mild intrinsic sympathomimetic activity for use in treating patients with hypertension and ventricular arrhythmias. It is marketed in capsule form for oral administration. Acebutolol Hydrochloride Capsules USP are provided in two dosage strengths which contain 200 mg or 400 mg of acebutolol as the hydrochloride salt. The inactive ingredients are povidone, corn starch, pregelatinized starch, and stearic acid. The capsule shells and imprinting ink for the 200 mg dosage strength also contain FD&C Blue 1, FD&C Red 40, titanium dioxide, black iron oxide, yellow iron oxide, sodium lauryl sulfate, gelatin, carboxymethylcellulose, shellac, ammonium hydroxide, propylene glycol, and potassium hydroxide. The capsule shells and imprinting ink for the 400 mg dosage strength also contain FD&C Blue 1, FD&C Red 3, titanium dioxide, FD&C Yellow 6, D&C Yellow 10, sodium lauryl sulfate, gelatin, shellac, ammonium hydroxide, propylene glycol, simethicone, and sodium hydroxide. Acebutolol hydrochloride USP has the following structural formula. C18H28N2O4HCl M.W. 372.9. Acebutolol hydrochloride USP is a white or slightly off-white powder freely soluble in water, and less soluble in alcohol.
