"IndicationAndUsage": "Methocarbamol Tablets USP, 500 mg and 750 mg are indicated as an adjunct to rest, physical therapy, and other measures for the relief of discomfort associated with acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions. The mode of action of methocarbamol has not been clearly identified, but may be related to its sedative properties. Methocarbamol does not directly relax tense skeletal muscles in man.",
"Description": "Methocarbamol Tablets USP, a carbamate derivative of guaifenesin, is a central nervous system (CNS) depressant with sedative and musculoskeletal relaxant properties. The chemical name of methocarbamol is 3 - (2-methoxyphenoxy) -1, 2- propanediol 1-carbamate and has the empirical formula C11H15NO5. Its molecular weight is 241.24. The structural formula is shown below. Methocarbamol is a white powder, sparingly soluble in water and chloroform, soluble in alcohol (only with heating) and propylene glycol, and insoluble in benzene and n-hexane. Methocarbamol Tablets USP, 500 mg is available as a light orange colored, round, film-coated tablets, engraved with 'B134' on one side and scored on the other side, containing 500 mg of methocarbamol, USP for oral administration. The inactive ingredients present are corn starch, low substituted hydroxypropyl cellulose, hydroxyprolyl cellulose, sodium starch glycolate, povidone, sodium lauryl sulfate, colloidal silicon dioxide, stearic acid, magnesium stearate, and purified water. Methocarbamol Tablets USP, 500 mg contains Opadry 13H530000 (Orange) (hypromellose, titanium dioxide, propylene glycol, FD&C yellow #6/Sunset Yellow FCF Aluminum Lake, polysorbate 20) as coating material. Methocarbamol Tablets USP, 750 mg is available as an orange colored, capsule shaped, film coated tablets, engraved with 'B135' on one side and plain on the other side, containing 750 mg of methocarbamol, USP for oral administration. "IndicationAndUsage": "Metronidazole Gel USP, 1% is indicated for the topical treatment of inflammatory lesions of rosacea.",
"Description": "Metronidazole Gel USP, 1% contains metronidazole, USP. Chemically, metronidazole is 2-methyl-5-nitro-1 H-imidazole- 1-ethanol. The molecular formula for metronidazole is C 6H 9N 3O 3. It has the following structural formula:. Metronidazole has a molecular weight of 171.16. It is a white to pale yellow crystalline powder. It is slightly soluble in alcohol and has solubility in water of 10 mg/mL at 20°C. Metronidazole belongs to the nitroimidazole class of compounds. Metronidazole is a colorless to slightly yellow gel; each gram contains 10 mg of metronidazole in a base of alcohol (10% w/w), disodium edetate, hydroxyethylcellulose, methylparaben, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, propylparaben, and purified water."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Venlafaxine hydrochloride extended-release capsules, USP are a serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) indicated for the treatment of: 1 Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) , 2 Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD) , 3 Panic Disorder (PD) .",
"Description": "Venlafaxine hydrochloride extended-release capsule, USP is an extended-release capsule for once-a-day oral administration that contains venlafaxine hydrochloride, a serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI). Venlafaxine is designated (R/S)-1-[2-(dimethylamino)-1-(4-methoxyphenyl)ethyl] cyclohexanol hydrochloride or (±)-1-[α- [(dimethylamino)methyl]-p-methoxybenzyl] cyclohexanol hydrochloride and has the molecular formula of C 17H 27NO 2 HCl. Its molecular weight is 313.86. The structural formula is shown as follows:. Venlafaxine hydrochloride, USP is a white to off-white crystalline powder; soluble in methanol and in water. Its octanol:water (0.2 M sodium chloride) partition coefficient is 0.43. Drug release is controlled by diffusion through the coating membrane on the spheroids and is not pH-dependent. Venlafaxine hydrochloride extended-release capsules, USP intended for oral administration contains 37.5 mg, 75 mg and 150 mg of venlafaxine. In addition, each capsule contains the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, cetostearyl alcohol, gelatin, hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose, polyacrylate dispersion, sodium lauryl sulfate, talc and titanium dioxide. Additionally each 37.5 mg capsule shell contains black iron oxide and each 75 mg and 150 mg capsule shell contains red iron oxide. The capsule is printed with black pharmaceutical ink which contains black iron oxide as coloring agent. The product complies with USP dissolution test 7."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Enalapril maleate tablets, USP is indicated for the treatment of hypertension. Enalapril maleate tablets, USP is effective alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents, especially thiazide-type diuretics. The blood pressure lowering effects of enalapril maleate and thiazides are approximately additive.",
"Description": "Enalapril maleate, USP is the maleate salt of enalapril, the ethyl ester of a long-acting angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor, enalaprilat. Enalapril maleate is chemically described as L–Proline, 1–[N-[1-(ethoxycarbonyl)–3–phenylpropyl]–L–alanyl]-,(S)-,(Z)-2-butenedioate(1:1). Its empirical formula is C20H28N2O5●C4H4O4, and its structural formula is. Enalapril maleate, USP is an off-white, crystalline powder with a molecular weight of 492.52. It is practically insoluble in n-Heptane (non-polar organic solvents), slightly soluble in Acetone (semi polar organic solvents), sparingly soluble in water, soluble in alcohol, freely soluble in methanol and in dimethyl formamide. Enalapril is a pro-drug; following oral administration, it is bioactivated by hydrolysis of the ethyl ester to enalaprilat, which is the active angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor. Enalapril maleate, USP is supplied as 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg tablets for oral administration. In addition to the active ingredient enalapril maleate, USP each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, polyethylene glycol 4000, pregelatinised starch, sodium bicarbonate and sodium stearate. The 10 mg tablets also contain red iron oxide, and 20 mg tablets also contain yellow iron oxide and red iron oxide. FDA approved dissolution test specifications differs from the USP."

It has the following structural formula:. Metronidazole has a molecular weight of 171.16. It is a white to pale yellow crystalline powder. It is slightly soluble in alcohol and has solubility in water of 10 mg/mL at 20°C. Metronidazole belongs to the nitroimidazole class of compounds. Metronidazole is a colorless to slightly yellow gel; each gram contains 10 mg of metronidazole in a base of alcohol (10% w/w), disodium edetate, hydroxyethylcellulose, methylparaben, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, propylparaben, and purified water."
