"IndicationAndUsage": "Pregabalin capsules are indicated for.",
"Description": "Pregabalin is described chemically as (S)-3-(aminomethyl)-5-methylhexanoic acid. The molecular formula is C8H17NO2 and the molecular weight is 159.23. The chemical structure of pregabalin is. Pregabalin is a white to off-white, crystalline solid with a pKa1 of 4.2 and a pKa2 of 10.6. It is sparingly soluble in water and slightly soluble in methanol. The log of the partition coefficient (n-octanol/0.05M phosphate buffer) at pH 7.4 is – 1.35.Pregabalin capsules are administered orally and are supplied as imprinted hard-shell capsules containing 25 mg, 50 mg, 75 mg, 100 mg, 150 mg, 200 mg, 225 mg, and 300 mg of pregabalin, USP, along with lactose monohydrate and talc as inactive ingredients. The capsule shells contain gelatin, iron oxide black (200 mg and 225 mg), iron oxide red (75 mg, 100 mg, 200 mg, 225 mg and 300 mg) sodium lauryl sulfate and titanium dioxide. The imprinting black ink contains black iron oxide, butyl alcohol, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, shellac and strong ammonia solution."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Carbidopa, levodopa and entacapone tablets, are indicated for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease. Carbidopa, levodopa and entacapone tablets can be used: 1 To substitute (with equivalent strengths of each of the three components) carbidopa/levodopa and entacapone previously administered as individual products., 2 To replace carbidopa/levodopa therapy (without entacapone) when patients experience the signs and symptoms of end-of-dose “wearing-off” and when they have been taking a total daily dose of levodopa of 600 mg or less and have not been experiencing dyskinesias.",
"Description": "Carbidopa, levodopa and entacapone tablets is a combination of carbidopa, levodopa, and entacapone for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease. Carbidopa, an inhibitor of aromatic amino acid decarboxylation, is a white, crystalline compound, slightly soluble in water, with a molecular weight of 244.3. It is designated chemically as (-)-L-(α-hydrazino-(α-methyl-β-(3,4-dihydroxybenzene) propanoic acid monohydrate. Its empirical formula is C10H14N2O4H2O, and its structural formula is. Tablet content is expressed in terms of anhydrous carbidopa, which has a molecular weight of 226.3. Levodopa, an aromatic amino acid, is a white, crystalline compound, slightly soluble in water, with a molecular weight of 197.2. It is designated chemically as (-)-L-α-amino-β-(3,4-dihydroxybenzene) propanoic acid. Its empirical formula is C9H11NO4, and its structural formula is. Entacapone, a COMT inhibitor, is a nitro-catechol-structured compound with a molecular weight of 305.3. The chemical name of entacapone is (E)-2-cyano-3-(3,4-dihydroxy-5-nitrophenyl)-N,N-diethyl-2-propenamide. Its empirical formula is C14H15N3O5 and its structural formula is. Carbidopa, levodopa and entacapone tablets are supplied as tablets in 6 strengths. Carbidopa, levodopa and entacapone tablets: 12.5 mg of carbidopa, 50 mg of levodopa and 200 mg of entacapone. Carbidopa, levodopa and entacapone tablets: 18.75 mg of carbidopa, 75 mg of levodopa and 200 mg of entacapone. Carbidopa, levodopa and entacapone tablets: 25 mg of carbidopa, 100 mg of levodopa and 200 mg of entacapone. Carbidopa, levodopa and entacapone tablets: 31.25 mg of carbidopa, 125 mg of levodopa and 200 mg of entacapone. Carbidopa, levodopa and entacapone tablets: 37.5 mg of carbidopa, 150 mg of levodopa and 200 mg of entacapone. Carbidopa, levodopa and entacapone tablets: 50 mg of carbidopa, 200 mg of levodopa and 200 mg of entacapone. Inactive Ingredients: corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, glycerol 85%, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, mannitol, polysorbate 80, povidone, sucrose, red iron oxide, and titanium dioxide. Tablets containing 12.5 mg of carbidopa, 50 mg of levodopa and 200 mg of entacapone, tablets containing 25 mg of carbidopa, 100 mg of levodopa and 200 mg of entacapone and tablets containing 37.5 mg of carbidopa, 150 mg of levodopa and 200 mg of entacapone also contain yellow iron oxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Ciprofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibacterial indicated in adults (18 years of age and older) with the following infections caused by designated, susceptible bacteria and in pediatric patients where indicated: 1 Skin and Skin Structure Infections ( 1.1) , 2 Bone and Joint Infections ( 1.2) , 3 Complicated Intra-Abdominal Infections ( 1.3) , 4 Infectious Diarrhea ( 1.4) , 5 Typhoid Fever (Enteric Fever) ( 1.5) , 6 Uncomplicated Cervical and Urethral Gonorrhea ( 1.6) , 7 Inhalational Anthrax post-exposure in adult and pediatric patients ( 1.7) , 8 Plague in adult and pediatric patients ( 1.8) , 9 Chronic Bacterial Prostatitis ( 1.9) , 10 Lower Respiratory Tract Infections ( 1.10) , 11 Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Bronchitis, 12 Urinary Tract Infections ( 1.11) , 13 Urinary Tract Infections (UTI), 14 Acute Uncomplicated Cystitis, 15 Complicated UTI and Pyelonephritis in Pediatric Patients, 16 Acute Sinusitis ( 1.12) .",
"Description": "Ciprofloxacin Tablets, USP are synthetic antimicrobial agents for oral administration. Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride, USP, a fluoroquinolone, is the monohydrochloride monohydrate salt of 1-cyclopropyl- 6-fluoro- 1,4-dihydro- 4-oxo- 7-(1-piperazinyl)- 3-quinolinecarboxylic acid. It is a faintly yellowish to light yellow crystalline substance with a molecular weight of 385.8. Its empirical formula is C 17H 18FN 3O 3HClH 2O and its chemical structure is as follows:. Ciprofloxacin is 1-cyclopropyl- 6-fluoro- 1,4-dihydro- 4-oxo- 7-(1-piperazinyl)- 3-quinolinecarboxylic acid. Its empirical formula is C17H18FN3O3 and its molecular weight is 331.4. It is a faintly yellowish to light yellow crystalline substance and its chemical structure is as follows. Ciprofloxacin film-coated tablets are available in 250 mg and 500 mg (ciprofloxacin equivalent) strengths. Ciprofloxacin Tablets, USP are white. The inactive ingredients are colloidal silicon dioxide, corn starch, partially pregelatinized maize starch, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate (starch from non-GMO potatoes), hypromellose, titanium dioxide and PEG."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Fosaprepitant for injection is a substance P/neurokinin-1 (NK1) receptor antagonist, indicated in adults and pediatric patients 6 months of age and older, in combination with other antiemetic agents, for the prevention of (1): 1 acute and delayed nausea and vomiting associated with initial and repeat courses of highly emetogenic cancer chemotherapy (HEC) including high-dose cisplatin., 2 delayed nausea and vomiting associated with initial and repeat courses of moderately emetogenic cancer chemotherapy (MEC).",
"Description": "Fosaprepitant for injection is a sterile, lyophilized prodrug of aprepitant, a substance P/neurokinin-1 (NK1) receptor antagonist, an antiemetic agent, chemically described as 1-Deoxy-1-(methylamino)-D-glucitol[3-[[(2R,3S)-2-[(1R)-1-[3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]ethoxy]-3-(4-fluorophenyl)-4-morpholinyl]methyl]-2,5-dihydro-5-oxo-1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl]phosphonate (2:1) (salt). Its empirical formula is C23H22F7N4O6P⋅2 (C7H17NO5) and its structural formula is. Fosaprepitant dimeglumine is a white to off-white powder with a molecular weight of 1004.83. It is freely soluble in water, soluble in N, N-Dimethylsulfoxide and insoluble in n-hexane. Each vial of fosaprepitant for injection for administration as an intravenous infusion contains 245.3 mg of fosaprepitant dimeglumine equivalent to 150 mg of fosaprepitant free acid and the following inactive ingredients: edetate disodium (18.8 mg), lactose anhydrous (375 mg), polysorbate 80 (75 mg), sodium hydroxide and/or hydrochloric acid (for pH adjustment)."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Nifedipine extended-release tablets are indicated for the treatment of hypertension. It may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents.",
"Description": "Nifedipine extended-release tablet, USP is an extended release tablet dosage form of the calcium channel blocker nifedipine. Nifedipine is 3,5-pyridinedicarboxylic acid, 1,4-dihydro-2,6-dimethyl-4-(2-nitrophenyl)-dimethyl ester, C17H18N2O6, and has the structural formula. Nifedipine USP is a yellow crystalline substance, practically insoluble in water but soluble in ethanol. It has a molecular weight of 346.3. Nifedipine extended-release tablets consist of an external coat and an internal core. Both contain nifedipine, the coat as a slow release formulation and the core as a fast release formulation. Nifedipine extended-release tablets contain either: 30, 60, or 90 mg of nifedipine for once-a-day oral administration. Inert ingredients in the formulation are hydroxypropylcellulose, lactose monohydrate, pregelatinized Starch, crospovidone, microcrystalline cellulose, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate. The inert ingredients in the film coating for nifedipine extended-release tablets 30 mg and 60 mg are: hypromellose, titanium dioxide, polyethylene glycol, iron oxide yellow and iron oxide red. "Description": "ZEVTERA (ceftobiprole medocaril sodium for injection) contains sodium salt of ceftobiprole medocaril, a semisynthetic, cephalosporin antibacterial, for intravenous use. Chemically, ceftobiprole medocaril is (6R,7R)-7-[[(2Z)-2-(5-amino-1,2,4-thiadiazol-3-yl)-2-hydroxyiminoacetyl]amino]-3-[(E)-[1-[(3R)-1-[(5-methyl-2-oxo-1,3-dioxol-4-yl)methoxycarbonyl]pyrrolidin-3-yl]-2-oxopyrrolidin-3-ylidene]methyl]-8-oxo-5-thia-1-azabicyclo[4.2.0]oct-2-ene-2-carboxylic acid. Its molecular weight is 690.6 g/mol. The empirical formula is C26H25N8NaO11S2. Figure 1 Chemical Structure of ceftobiprole medocaril. ZEVTERA vials contain 667 mg of ceftobiprole medocaril sodium (equivalent to 500 mg of ceftobiprole). The powder for injection is a white, yellowish to slightly brownish sterile powder. Each vial includes inactive ingredient citric acid monohydrate (26.3 mg/vial) as a buffer component and sodium hydroxide (q.s.) as a pH adjustment agent. Each vial of ZEVTERA contains approximately 32 mg of sodium. The pH of the reconstituted solution is 4.5–5.5."

"IndicationAndUsage": "XARELTO is a factor Xa inhibitor indicated: 1 to reduce risk of stroke and systemic embolism in nonvalvular atrial fibrillation ( 1.1) , 2 for treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) ( 1.2) , 3 for treatment of pulmonary embolism (PE) ( 1.3) , 4 for reduction in the risk of recurrence of DVT or PE ( 1.4) , 5 for the prophylaxis of DVT, which may lead to PE in patients undergoing knee or hip replacement surgery ( 1.5) , 6 for prophylaxis of venous thromboembolism (VTE) in acutely ill medical patients ( 1.6) , 7 to reduce the risk of major cardiovascular events in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) ( 1.7) , 8 to reduce the risk of major thrombotic vascular events in patients with peripheral artery disease (PAD), including patients after recent lower extremity revascularization due to symptomatic PAD ( 1.8) , 9 for treatment of VTE and reduction in the risk of recurrent VTE in pediatric patients from birth to less than 18 years ( 1.9) , 10 for thromboprophylaxis in pediatric patients 2 years and older with congenital heart disease after the Fontan procedure ( 1.10) .",
"Description": "Rivaroxaban, a factor Xa (FXa) inhibitor, is the active ingredient in XARELTO ® Tablets and XARELTO ® for oral suspension with the chemical name 5-Chloro-N-({(5S)-2-oxo-3-[4-(3-oxo-4-morpholinyl)phenyl]-1,3-oxazolidin-5-yl}methyl)-2-thiophenecarboxamide. The molecular formula of rivaroxaban is C 19H 18ClN 3O 5S and the molecular weight is 435.89. The structural formula is:. Rivaroxaban is a pure ( S)-enantiomer. It is an odorless, non-hygroscopic, white to yellowish powder. Rivaroxaban is only slightly soluble in organic solvents (e.g., acetone, polyethylene glycol 400) and is practically insoluble in water and aqueous media. Each XARELTO tablet contains 2.5 mg, 10 mg, 15 mg, or 20 mg of rivaroxaban. The inactive ingredients of XARELTO are: croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, and sodium lauryl sulfate. Additionally, the proprietary film coating mixture used for XARELTO 2.5 mg is Opadry ® Light Yellow, containing ferric oxide yellow, hypromellose, polyethylene glycol 3350, and titanium dioxide, and for XARELTO 10 mg tablets is Opadry ® Pink and for XARELTO 15 mg tablets is Opadry ® Red, both containing ferric oxide red, hypromellose, polyethylene glycol 3350, and titanium dioxide, and for XARELTO 20 mg tablets is Opadry ® II Dark Red, containing ferric oxide red, polyethylene glycol 3350, polyvinyl alcohol (partially hydrolyzed), talc, and titanium dioxide. XARELTO for oral suspension is supplied as granules in bottles containing 155 mg of rivaroxaban (1 mg of rivaroxaban per mL after reconstitution). The inactive ingredients are: anhydrous citric acid, hypromellose, mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose and carboxymethylcellulose sodium, sodium benzoate, sucralose, sweet and creamy flavor and xanthan gum."

"IndicationAndUsage": "CLINIMIX is indicated as a source of calories and protein for patients requiring parenteral nutrition when oral or enteral nutrition is not possible, insufficient, or contraindicated. CLINIMIX may be used to treat negative nitrogen balance in patients.",
"Description": "CLINIMIX sulfite-free (amino acids in dextrose) injection for intravenous use consists of sterile, nonpyrogenic, hypertonic solutions in a dual chamber container. The outlet port chamber contains essential and nonessential amino acids. The formulas for the individual amino acids found in CLINIMIX sulfite-free (amino acids in dextrose) injections are provided in Table 8. The injection port chamber contains dextrose. Dextrose, USP, is chemically designated D-glucose, monohydrate (C6H12O6 H2O) and has the following structure. Dextrose is derived from corn.
