"IndicationAndUsage": "Allergenic extracts are indicated for use in diagnostic testing and as part of a treatment regime for allergic disease, as established by allergy history and skin test reactivity. Allergenic extracts are indicated for the treatment of allergen specific allergic disease for use as hyposensitization or immunotherapy when avoidance of specific allergens can not be attained. The use of allergenic extracts for therapeutic purpose has been established by well-controlled clinical studies. Allergenic extracts may be used as adjunctive therapy along with pharmacotherapy which includes antihistamines, corticosteroids, and cromoglycate, and avoidance measures. Allergenic extracts for therapeutic use should be given using only the allergen selection to which the patient is allergic, has a history of exposure and are likely to be exposed to again.",
"Description": "Allergenic extracts are sterile solutions consisting of the extractable components from various biological sources including pollens, inhalants, molds, animal epidermals and insects. Aqueous extracts are prepared using cocas fluid containing NaCl 0.5%, NaHCO3 0.0275%, WFI, preservative 0.4% Phenol. Glycerinated allergenic extracts are prepared with cocas fluid and glycerin to produce a 50% (v/v) allergenic extract. Allergenic Extracts are supplied as concentrations designated as protein nitrogen units (PNU) or weight/volume (w/v) ratio. Standardized extracts are designated in Bioequivalent Allergy Units (BAU) or Allergy Units (AU). (See product insert for standardized extracts). For diagnostic purposes, allergenic extracts are to be administered by prick-puncture or intradermal routes. Allergenic extracts are administered subcutaneously for immunotherapy injections."

"IndicationAndUsage": "To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain effectiveness of doxycycline hyclate and other antibacterial drugs, doxycycline hyclate capsules should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria. When culture and susceptibility information are available, they should be considered in selecting or modifying antibacterial therapy. In the absence of such data, local epidemiology and susceptibility patterns may contribute to the empiric selection of therapy.",
"Description": "Doxycycline hyclate is an antibacterial drug synthetically derived from oxytetracycline, and is available as doxycycline hyclate capsules for oral administration. The chemical designation for doxycyclin is 4-(Dimethylamino)-1,4,4a,5,5a,6,11,12a-octahydro-3,5,10,12,12a-pentahydroxy-6-methyl-1,11-dioxo-2-naphthacene-carboxamide monohydrate. The structural formula of doxycycline hyclate is. Doxycycline hyclate, USP is yellow to light yellow powder. It is freely soluble in water and methanol, sparingly soluble in alcohol; practically insoluble in chloroform and in ether. It dissolves in aqueous solution of alkali hydroxides and carbonates. Doxycycline has a high degree of lipoid solubility and a low affinity for calcium binding. It is highly stable in normal human serum. Doxycycline will not degrade into an epianhydro form. Each capsule contains doxycycline hyclate equivalent to doxycycline 50 mg or 100 mg and inactive ingredients: anhydrous lactose, croscarmellose sodium, D&C red 28, FD & C blue 1, gelatin, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate and sodium lauryl sulfate and titanium dioxide. Each capsule cap is printed with white pharmaceutical ink and capsule body is printed with black pharmaceutical ink which contains following ingredient butyl alcohol, dehydrated alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, strong ammonia solution, and shellac. Additionally black pharmaceutical ink also contains black iron oxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Dexlansoprazole delayed-release capsules are a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) indicated in patients 12 years of age and older for: 1 Healing of all grades of erosive esophagitis (EE). (1.1), 2 Maintenance of healed EE and relief of heartburn. (1.2), 3 Treatment of symptomatic non-erosive gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). (1.3).",
"Description": "The active ingredient in dexlansoprazole delayed-release capsules, a proton pump inhibitor, is 2-[(R)-[[3-methyl-4-(2,2,2-trifluoroethoxy)-2- pyridinyl]methyl]sulfinyl]-1H-benzimidazole Sesquihydrate, a compound that inhibits gastric acid secretion. Dexlansoprazole is the R-enantiomer of lansoprazole (a racemic mixture of the R- and S-enantiomers). Dexlansoprazole sesquihydrate’s molecular formula is: C16H14F3N3O2S1½ H2O, with a molecular weight of 396.39. Dexlansoprazole sesquihydrate has the following chemical structure. Dexlansoprazole sesquihydrate is a white to brown color powder which melts with decomposition at 85.5°C. Dexlansoprazole sesquihydrate is freely soluble in N,N-dimethylformamide and practically insoluble in water. Dexlansoprazole sesquihydrate is not stable when exposed to light. Dexlansoprazole sesquihydrate is not stable in alkaline or acidic conditions. Dexlansoprazole is supplied for oral administration as a dual delayed-release formulation in capsules. The capsules contain dexlansoprazole sesquihydrate in a single type of enteric-coated pellets [see Clinical Pharmacology (12.3)]. Dexlansoprazole delayed-release capsules are available in two dosage strengths: 30 and 60 mg, per capsule.
