"Description": "Non-standardized allergenic extracts are labeled “No U.S. Standard of Potency”. Non-standardized allergenic extracts are supplied in a Glycero Cocas extraction solution, which consists of 0.5% sodium chloride for isotonicity, 0.275% sodium bicarbonate as a buffer, and 50% glycerin (volume/volume) as preservative. Non-standardized allergenic extracts are supplied as a weight to volume (w/v) solution of allergen in extraction solution. Product concentrations vary based on the source. Refer to the vial label for the product concentration. Source material mold mycelia and Candida albicans cells are cultivated on liquid medium which may contain one or more of the following constituents: casein hydrolysate; malt extract; yeast extract; maltose; dextrose; ammonium nitrate, calcium carbonate, calcium chloride, ammonium citrate, potassium phosphate, sodium citrate, citric acid; magnesium sulfate; or trace elements. Acetone and ether may be used as drying and de-fatting agents. Candida albicans cells are treated with phenol, which is removed by dialysis. "IndicationAndUsage": "Allergenic extracts are indicated for use in diagnostic testing and as part of a treatment regime for allergic disease, as established by allergy history and skin test reactivity. Allergenic extracts are indicated for the treatment of allergen specific allergic disease for use as hyposensitization or immunotherapy when avoidance of specific allergens can not be attained. The use of allergenic extracts for therapeutic purpose has been established by well-controlled clinical studies. Allergenic extracts may be used as adjunctive therapy along with pharmacotherapy which includes antihistamines, corticosteroids, and cromoglycate, and avoidance measures. Allergenic extracts for therapeutic use should be given using only the allergen selection to which the patient is allergic, has a history of exposure and are likely to be exposed to again.",
"Description": "Allergenic extracts are sterile solutions consisting of the extractable components from various biological sources including pollens, inhalants, molds, animal epidermals and insects. Aqueous extracts are prepared using cocas fluid containing NaCl 0.5%, NaHCO3 0.0275%, WFI, preservative 0.4% Phenol. Glycerinated allergenic extracts are prepared with cocas fluid and glycerin to produce a 50% (v/v) allergenic extract. Allergenic Extracts are supplied as concentrations designated as protein nitrogen units (PNU) or weight/volume (w/v) ratio. Standardized extracts are designated in Bioequivalent Allergy Units (BAU) or Allergy Units (AU). (See product insert for standardized extracts). For diagnostic purposes, allergenic extracts are to be administered by prick-puncture or intradermal routes. Allergenic extracts are administered subcutaneously for immunotherapy injections."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Lidocaine HCl Injections are indicated for production of local or regional anesthesia by infiltration techniques such as percutaneous injection by peripheral nerve block techniques such as brachial plexus and intercostal and by central neural techniques such as lumbar and caudal epidural blocks, when the accepted procedures for these techniques as described in standard textbooks are observed.",
"Description": "Lidocaine Hydrochloride Injections are sterile, nonpyrogenic, aqueous, isotonic solutions that contain a local anesthetic agent and are administered parenterally by injection. See INDICATIONS & USAGE for specific uses. Each mL of the 1% solution contains lidocaine hydrochloride 10 mg and sodium chloride 7 mg. Each mL of the 2% solution contains lidocaine hydrochloride 20 mg and sodium chloride 6 mg. The pH of these solutions is adjusted to approximately 5.0 to 7.0 with sodium hydroxide and/or hydrochloric acid. Lidocaine Hydrochloride Injection solutions contain lidocaine hydrochloride which is chemically designated as acetamide, 2-(diethylamino)-N-(2,6-dimethylphenyl)-, monohydrochloride and has the molecular wt. 270.8. Lidocaine HCl (C14H22N2O HCl) has the following structural formula."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Escitalopram oxalate is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) indicated for: 1 Acute and Maintenance Treatment of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) in adults and adolescents aged 12 to 17 years ( 1.1) , 2 Acute Treatment of Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) in adults ( 1.2) .",
"Description": "Escitalopram oxalate, an orally administered selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). Escitalopram is the pure S-enantiomer (single isomer) of the racemic bicyclic phthalane derivative citalopram. Escitalopram oxalate is designated S-(+)-1-[3-(dimethyl-amino)propyl]-1-( p-fluorophenyl)-5-phthalancarbonitrile oxalate with the following structural formula:. The molecular formula is C 20H 21FN 2O C 2H 2O 4 and the molecular weight is 414.40. Escitalopram oxalate occurs as a fine, white to slightly-yellow powder and is freely soluble in methanol and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), soluble in isotonic saline solution, sparingly soluble in water and ethanol, slightly soluble in ethyl acetate, and insoluble in heptane. Escitalopram oxalate is available as tablets. Escitalopram tablets, USP are film-coated, round tablets containing 6.38 mg, 12.75 mg, 25.50 mg escitalopram oxalate in strengths equivalent to 5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg, respectively of escitalopram base. The 10 and 20 mg tablets are scored. The tablets also contain the following inactive ingredients: croscarmellose sodium, microcrystalline cellulose, hypromellose, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate and talc. The film coating contains hypromellose, titanium dioxide, and polyethylene glycol."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Trazodone is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD) ( 1).",
"Description": "Trazodone hydrochloride is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor and 5HT2 receptor antagonist. Trazodone hydrochloride, USP is a triazolopyridine derivative designated as 2-[3-[4-(3-chlorophenyl)-1-piperazinyl]propyl]- 1,2,4-triazolo[4, 3-a]pyridin-3(2H)-one hydrochloride. It is a white to off-white, crystalline powder which is sparingly soluble in chloroform and in water. The structural formula is represented as follows. Molecular Formula: C 19H 22C lN 5OHCl. Molecular Weight: 408.33. Each trazodone hydrochloride tablet, USP for oral administration contains 50 mg, 100 mg, 150 mg or 300 mg of trazodone hydrochloride, USP. In addition, each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, sodium lauryl sulfate, and sodium starch glycolate. The USP Dissolution Test is pending."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Hypothyroidism. Levothyroxine Sodium Tablets are indicated in adult and pediatric patients, including neonates, as a replacement therapy in primary (thyroidal), secondary (pituitary), and tertiary (hypothalamic) congenital or acquired hypothyroidism. Pituitary Thyrotropin (Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone, TSH) Suppression. Levothyroxine Sodium Tablets are indicated in adult and pediatric patients, including neonates, as an adjunct to surgery and radioiodine therapy in the management of thyrotropin-dependent well-differentiated thyroid cancer. Limitations of Use: 1 Levothyroxine Sodium Tablets are not indicated for suppression of benign thyroid nodules and nontoxic diffuse goiter in iodine-sufficient patients as there are no clinical benefits and overtreatment with Levothyroxine Sodium Tablets may induce hyperthyroidism [see Warnings and Precautions (5.1)]., 2 Levothyroxine Sodium Tablets are not indicated for treatment of hypothyroidism during the recovery phase of subacute thyroiditis.",
"Description": "Levothyroxine Sodium Tablets are L-thyroxine (T4) and contain the active ingredient, levothyroxine, a synthetic crystalline L-3,3',5,5'-tetraiodothyronine sodium salt. Synthetic T4 is chemically identical to that produced in the human thyroid gland. Levothyroxine (T4) sodium has an empirical formula of C15H10I4NNaO4H2O, molecular weight of 798.86 g/mol (anhydrous), and structural formula as shown. Levothyroxine Sodium Tablets are for oral administration and are available in the following strengths: 25 mcg, 50 mcg, 75 mcg, 88 mcg, 100 mcg, 112 mcg, 125 mcg, 137 mcg, 150 mcg, 175 mcg, 200 mcg, and 300 mcg. Each levothyroxine sodium tablet contains the inactive ingredients butylated hydroxytoluene, calcium phosphate dibasic dihydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, sodium starch glycolate, and color additive(s). Table 9 provides a listing of the color additives by tablet strength."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Clobetasol Propionate Gel, 0.05% is a super-high potency corticosteroid formulation indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses. Treatment beyond 2 consecutive weeks is not recommended, and the total dosage should not exceed 50 g/week because of the potential for the drug to suppress the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis. Use in pediatric patients under 12 years of age is not recommended.",
"Description": "Clobetasol Propionate Gel, 0.05% contains the active compound clobetasol propionate, a synthetic corticosteroid, for topical dermatologic use. Clobetasol, an analog of prednisolone, has a high degree of glucocorticoid activity and a slight degree of mineralocorticoid activity. Chemically, clobetasol propionate is (11ß,16ß)-21-chloro-9-fluoro-11-hydroxy-16- methyl-17-(1-oxopropoxy)-pregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione, and it has the following structural formula. Clobetasol propionate has the empirical formula C25H32ClFO5 and a molecular weight of 467. It is a white to cream-colored crystalline powder insoluble in water. Clobetasol Propionate Gel, 0.05% contains clobetasol propionate 0.5 mg/g in a base of carbomer homopolymer type B, propylene glycol, purified water, and sodium hydroxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Naproxen and esomeprazole magnesium delayed-release tablets, a combination of naproxen and esomeprazole magnesium, is indicated in adult and adolescent patients 12 years of age and older weighing at least 38 kg, requiring naproxen for symptomatic relief of arthritis and esomeprazole magnesium to decrease the risk for developing naproxen-associated gastric ulcers. The naproxen component of naproxen and esomeprazole magnesium delayed-release tablets are indicated for relief of signs and symptoms of: 1 osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis in adults., 2 juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) in adolescent patients.",
"Description": "The active ingredients of naproxen and esomeprazole magnesium delayed-release tablets are naproxen which is an NSAID and esomeprazole magnesium which is a Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI). Naproxen and esomeprazole magnesium delayed-release tablets (naproxen and esomeprazole magnesium) is combination of a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug and a PPI available as an oval, yellow, multi-layer, delayed-release tablet combining an enteric-coated naproxen core and an immediate-release esomeprazole magnesium layer surrounding the core. Each strength contains either 375 mg of naproxen and 20 mg of esomeprazole (equivalent to 22.3 mg esomeprazole magnesium trihydrate) or 500 mg of naproxen and 20 mg of esomeprazole (equivalent to 22.3 mg esomeprazole magnesium trihydrate) for oral administration. The inactive ingredients are colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, iron oxide yellow, magnesium oxide, magnesium stearate, methacrylic acid and ethyl acrylate copolymer dispersion, talc, plasacryl, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate 80, povidone, titanium dioxide. The imprinting ink contains ammonium hydroxide, iron oxide black, propylene glycol, shellac glaze. The chemical name for naproxen is (S)-6-methoxy-α-methyl-2-naphthaleneacetic acid. Naproxen has the following structure. Naproxen has a molecular weight of 230.26 and a molecular formula of C 14H 14O 3. Naproxen, USP is an odorless, white to off-white crystalline substance. It is lipid soluble, practically insoluble in water at low pH and freely soluble in water at high pH. The octanol/water partition coefficient of naproxen at pH 7.4 is 1.6 to 1.8. The chemical name for esomeprazole, USP is bis(5-methoxy-2-[(S)-[(4-methoxy-3,5-dimethyl-2-pyridinyl)methyl]sulfinyl]-1 H-benzimidazole-1-yl) magnesium trihydrate. Esomeprazole, USP is the S-isomer of omeprazole, which is a mixture of the S- and R- isomers. Its molecular formula is (C 17H 18N 3O 3S)2Mg x 3 H 2O with molecular weight of 767.2 as a trihydrate and 713.1 on an anhydrous basis. The structural formula is:. The magnesium salt is a white to slightly colored crystalline powder. It contains 3 moles of water of solvation and is slightly soluble in water. The stability of esomeprazole magnesium is a function of pH; it rapidly degrades in acidic media, but it has acceptable stability under alkaline conditions. At pH 6.8 (buffer), the half-life of the magnesium salt is about 19 hours at 25°C and about 8 hours at 37°C."

"Description": "Dutasteride is a synthetic 4-azasteroid compound that is a selective inhibitor of both the type 1 and type 2 isoforms of steroid 5 alpha-reductase, an intracellular enzyme that converts testosterone to DHT. Dutasteride is chemically designated as (5a,17b)-N-{2,5 bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl}-3-oxo-4-azaandrost-1-ene-17-carboxamide. The empirical formula of dutasteride is C27H30F6N2O2, representing a molecular weight of 528.5 with the following structural formula. Dutasteride is a white to pale yellow powder with a melting point of 242° to 250°C. It is soluble in ethanol (44 mg/mL), methanol (64 mg/mL), and polyethylene glycol 400 (3 mg/mL), but it is insoluble in water. Each dutasteride capsule, administered orally, contains 0.5 mg of dutasteride dissolved in a mixture of mono-di-glycerides of caprylic/capric acid and butylated hydroxytoluene. Below is a chart of body mass index (BMI) based on various heights and weights. BMI is calculated by taking the patient’s weight, in kilograms (kg), divided by the patient’s height, in meters (m), squared. Metric conversions are as follows: pounds ÷ 2.2 = kg; inches x 0.0254 = meters. The limited usefulness of agents of this class, including phentermine, [see Clinical Pharmacology (12.1, 12.2)] should be measured against possible risk factors inherent in their use such as those described below.",

C10H15N HCl M.W. 185.7. Phentermine hydrochloride is a white, odorless, hygroscopic, crystalline powder which is soluble in water and lower alcohols, slightly soluble in chloroform and insoluble in ether. Phentermine Hydrochloride Capsules, USP are available as. a) powder-filled capsules containing 15 mg phentermine hydrochloride (equivalent to 12 mg phentermine base) or 30 mg phentermine hydrochloride (equivalent to 24 mg phentermine base) and inactive ingredients: corn starch and magnesium stearate. In addition, the 15 mg gray/orange capsules contain lactose monohydrate, gelatin, D&C Yellow # 10, FD&C Red # 40, FD&C Yellow # 6, titanium dioxide, black iron oxide, yellow iron oxide; the 30 mg natural/blue capsules contain lactose anhydrous, gelatin, D&C Red # 28, and FD&C Blue # 1; the 30 mg yellow/yellow capsules contain lactose anhydrous, gelatin, D&C Yellow # 10, FD&C Red # 3, and titanium dioxide; and the 30 mg black/black capsules contain lactose anhydrous, gelatin, FD&C Yellow # 6, FD&C Blue # 1, and FD&C Red # 40. "IndicationAndUsage": "Escitalopram oxalate is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) indicated for: 1 Acute and Maintenance Treatment of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) in adults and adolescents aged 12 to 17 years ( 1.1) , 2 Acute Treatment of Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) in adults ( 1.2) .",
"Description": "Escitalopram oxalate, an orally administered selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). Escitalopram is the pure S-enantiomer (single isomer) of the racemic bicyclic phthalane derivative citalopram. Escitalopram oxalate is designated S-(+)-1-[3-(dimethyl-amino)propyl]-1-( p-fluorophenyl)-5-phthalancarbonitrile oxalate with the following structural formula:. The molecular formula is C 20H 21FN 2O C 2H 2O 4 and the molecular weight is 414.40. Escitalopram oxalate occurs as a fine, white to slightly-yellow powder and is freely soluble in methanol and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), soluble in isotonic saline solution, sparingly soluble in water and ethanol, slightly soluble in ethyl acetate, and insoluble in heptane. Escitalopram oxalate is available as tablets. Escitalopram tablets, USP are film-coated, round tablets containing 6.38 mg, 12.75 mg, 25.50 mg escitalopram oxalate in strengths equivalent to 5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg, respectively of escitalopram base. The 10 and 20 mg tablets are scored. The tablets also contain the following inactive ingredients: croscarmellose sodium, microcrystalline cellulose, hypromellose, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate and talc. The film coating contains hypromellose, titanium dioxide, and polyethylene glycol."
