"IndicationAndUsage": "NON-STANDARDIZED ALLERGENIC EXTRACTS are indicated for: 1 Skin test diagnosis of individuals with a clinical history of allergy to the specific corresponding allergens.",
"Description": "Non-standardized allergenic extracts are labeled “No U.S. Standard of Potency”. Non-standardized allergenic extracts are supplied in a Glycero Cocas extraction solution, which consists of 0.5% sodium chloride for isotonicity, 0.275% sodium bicarbonate as a buffer, and 50% glycerin (volume/volume) as preservative. Non-standardized allergenic extracts are supplied as a weight to volume (w/v) solution of allergen in extraction solution. Product concentrations vary based on the source. Refer to the vial label for the product concentration. Source material mold mycelia and Candida albicans cells are cultivated on liquid medium which may contain one or more of the following constituents: casein hydrolysate; malt extract; yeast extract; maltose; dextrose; ammonium nitrate, calcium carbonate, calcium chloride, ammonium citrate, potassium phosphate, sodium citrate, citric acid; magnesium sulfate; or trace elements. Acetone and ether may be used as drying and de-fatting agents. Candida albicans cells are treated with phenol, which is removed by dialysis. Dog Hair and Dander extracts are manufactured in 3 product forms: 1 Dog Hair and Dander (Regular Process) is derived from extraction of the source material without additional processing, and is prepared at 1:10 w/v in Glycero-Cocas., 2 Acetone Precipitated (AP) Dog Hair and Dander is derived from the acetone precipitated aqueous extract and is prepared at 1:100 w/v in Glycero-Cocas., 3 Ultrafiltered (UF) Dog Hair and Dander is derived from the UF aqueous extract and is prepared at 1:650 w/v in Glycero‑Cocas."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Allergenic extracts are indicated for use in diagnostic testing and as part of a treatment regime for allergic disease, as established by allergy history and skin test reactivity. Allergenic extracts are indicated for the treatment of allergen specific allergic disease for use as hyposensitization or immunotherapy when avoidance of specific allergens can not be attained. The use of allergenic extracts for therapeutic purpose has been established by well-controlled clinical studies. Allergenic extracts may be used as adjunctive therapy along with pharmacotherapy which includes antihistamines, corticosteroids, and cromoglycate, and avoidance measures. Allergenic extracts for therapeutic use should be given using only the allergen selection to which the patient is allergic, has a history of exposure and are likely to be exposed to again.",
"Description": "Allergenic extracts are sterile solutions consisting of the extractable components from various biological sources including pollens, inhalants, molds, animal epidermals and insects. Aqueous extracts are prepared using cocas fluid containing NaCl 0.5%, NaHCO3 0.0275%, WFI, preservative 0.4% Phenol. Glycerinated allergenic extracts are prepared with cocas fluid and glycerin to produce a 50% (v/v) allergenic extract. Allergenic Extracts are supplied as concentrations designated as protein nitrogen units (PNU) or weight/volume (w/v) ratio. Standardized extracts are designated in Bioequivalent Allergy Units (BAU) or Allergy Units (AU). (See product insert for standardized extracts). For diagnostic purposes, allergenic extracts are to be administered by prick-puncture or intradermal routes. Allergenic extracts are administered subcutaneously for immunotherapy injections."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Gabapentin is indicated for: 1 Management of postherpetic neuralgia in adults, 2 Adjunctive therapy in the treatment of partial onset seizures, with and without secondary generalization, in adults and pediatric patients 3 years and older with epilepsy.",
"Description": "The active ingredient in gabapentin tablets is gabapentin USP, which has the chemical name 1-(aminomethyl)cyclohexaneacetic acid. The molecular formula of gabapentin is C9H17NO2 and the molecular weight is 171.24. The structural formula of gabapentin is. Gabapentin is a white to off-white crystalline solid with a pKa1 of 3.7 and a pKa2 of 10.7. It is freely soluble in water and both basic and acidic aqueous solutions. The log of the partition coefficient (n-octanol/0.05M phosphate buffer) at pH 7.4 is –1.25. Each gabapentin tablet, USP contains 600 mg or 800 mg of gabapentin and the following inactive ingredients: Maize Starch, Poloxamer 407, Copovidone, Ethanol absolute, Hydroxy Propyl Cellulose, Magnesium Stearate, Hydroxy Propyl cellulose, Talc and Purified Water."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Theophylline oral solution is indicated for the treatment of the symptoms and reversible airflow obstruction associated with chronic asthma and other chronic lung diseases, e.g., emphysema and chronic bronchitis.",
"Description": "Theophylline is structurally classified as a methylxanthine. It occurs as a white, odorless, crystalline powder with a bitter taste. Anhydrous theophylline has the chemical name 1H-Purine-2,6-dione,3,7-dihydro-1,3-dimethyl-, and is represented by the following structural formula. The molecular formula of anhydrous theophylline is C7H8N4O2 with a molecular weight of 180.17. Theophylline Oral Solution, USP is available as a solution intended for oral administration, containing 80 mg of theophylline anhydrous per 15 mL (one tablespoonful). Theophylline Oral Solution is alcohol free. Theophylline Oral Solution also contains the following inactive ingredients: anhydrous citric acid, glycerin, methylparaben, orange oil, polysorbate 80, propylene glycol, purified water, sodium benzoate, sodium citrate, sodium saccharin, and sorbitol solution. Theophylline Oral Solution has pH of 4.3 to 4.7."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Buprenorphine sublingual tablets is indicated for the treatment of opioid dependence and is preferred for induction. Buprenorphine sublingual tablets should be used as part of a complete treatment plan to include counseling and psychosocial support.",
"Description": "Buprenorphine sublingual tablets are uncoated round white tablets intended for sublingual administration. The tablets contain buprenorphine HCL, a partial agonist at the mu‐opioid receptor, and are available in two dosage strengths, 2 mg buprenorphine and 8 mg buprenorphine (as free base, equivalent to 2.16 mg buprenorphine hydrochloride USP and 8.64 mg buprenorphine hydrochloride USP). It has the following chemical structure. Buprenorphine HCl has the molecular formula C 29H 41NO 4∙ HCl and the molecular weight is 504.10. It is a white or off-white crystalline powder, sparingly soluble in water, freely soluble in methanol, soluble in alcohol and practically insoluble in cyclohexane."
