"Description": "The active ingredient in rabeprazole sodium delayed-release tablets is rabeprazole sodium, USP which is a proton pump inhibitor. It is a substituted benzimidazole known chemically as 2-[[[4-(3-methoxypropoxy)-3-methyl-2-pyridinyl]-methyl]sulfinyl]-1H–benzimidazole sodium salt. It has an empirical formula of C18H20N3NaO3S and a molecular weight of 381.42. Rabeprazole sodium, USP is a white to slightly yellowish-white solid. It is very soluble in water and methanol, freely soluble in ethanol, chloroform, and ethyl acetate and insoluble in ether and n-hexane. The stability of rabeprazole sodium is a function of pH; it is rapidly degraded in acid media, and is more stable under alkaline conditions. The structural figure is. Figure 1. Rabeprazole sodium, USP is available for oral administration as delayed-release, enteric-coated tablets containing 20 mg of rabeprazole sodium, USP. Inactive ingredients of the 20 mg tablet are ammonium hydroxide, crospovidone, diethyl phthalate, ethyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose phthalate, iron oxide black, iron oxide yellow, light magnesium oxide, magnesium stearate, mannitol, propylene glycol, shellac, sodium stearyl fumarate, talc, and titanium dioxide."

"Description": "The active ingredient in sevelamer carbonate tablets is sevelamer carbonate, a polymeric amine that binds phosphate and is meant for oral administration. It was developed as a pharmaceutical alternative to sevelamer hydrochloride (Renagel®). Sevelamer carbonate is an anion exchange resin, with the same polymeric structure as sevelamer hydrochloride, in which carbonate replaces chloride as the counterion. While the counterions differ for the two salts, the polymer itself, the active moiety involved in phosphate binding, is the same. Sevelamer carbonate is known chemically as poly(allylamine-co-N,N’-diallyl-1,3-diamino-2-hydroxypropane) carbonate salt. Sevelamer carbonate is hygroscopic, but insoluble in water. The structure is represented in Figure 1. Figure 1. Chemical Structure of Sevelamer Carbonate. a, b = number of primary amine groups a + b = 9. c = number of cross-linking groups c = 1. m = large number to indicate extended polymer network. Sevelamer carbonate tablets: Each film-coated tablet of sevelamer carbonate contains 800 mg of sevelamer carbonate on an anhydrous basis. The inactive ingredients are diacetylated monoglycerides, hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose, silicon dioxide and zinc stearate. Imprinting ink contains ammonium hydroxide, iron oxide black, propylene glycol and shellac."

The active ingredient in rabeprazole sodium delayed-release tablets is rabeprazole sodium, USP which is a proton pump inhibitor. Inactive ingredients of the 20 mg tablet are ammonium hydroxide, crospovidone, diethyl phthalate, ethyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose phthalate, iron oxide black, iron oxide yellow, light magnesium oxide, magnesium stearate, mannitol, propylene glycol, shellac, sodium stearyl fumarate, talc, and titanium dioxide.

The active ingredient in rabeprazole sodium delayed-release tablets is rabeprazole sodium, USP which is a proton pump inhibitor. Inactive ingredients of the 20 mg tablet are ammonium hydroxide, crospovidone, diethyl phthalate, ethyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose phthalate, iron oxide black, iron oxide yellow, light magnesium oxide, magnesium stearate, mannitol, propylene glycol, shellac, sodium stearyl fumarate, talc, and titanium dioxide.

<IndicationAndUsage>Sevelamer carbonate tablets are indicated for the control of serum phosphorus in adults and children 6 years of age and older with chronic kidney disease (CKD) on dialysis.</IndicationAndUsage>

The active ingredient in sevelamer carbonate tablets is sevelamer carbonate, a polymeric amine that binds phosphate and is meant for oral administration. Imprinting ink contains ammonium hydroxide, iron oxide black, propylene glycol and shellac.
