"IndicationAndUsage": "Atenolol is indicated for the treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure lowers the risk of fatal and non-fatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions. These benefits have been seen in controlled trials of antihypertensive drugs from a wide variety of pharmacologic classes including atenolol. Control of high blood pressure should be part of comprehensive cardiovascular risk management, including, as appropriate, lipid control, diabetes management, antithrombotic therapy, smoking cessation, exercise, and limited sodium intake. Many patients will require more than 1 drug to achieve blood pressure goals. For specific advice on goals and management, see published guidelines, such as those of the National High Blood Pressure Education Program's Joint National Committee on Prevention, Detection, Evaluation, and Treatment of High Blood Pressure (JNC). Numerous antihypertensive drugs, from a variety of pharmacologic classes and with different mechanisms of action, have been shown in randomized controlled trials to reduce cardiovascular morbidity and mortality, and it can be concluded that it is blood pressure reduction, and not some other pharmacologic property of the drugs, that is largely responsible for those benefits. The largest and most consistent cardiovascular outcome benefit has been a reduction in the risk of stroke, but reductions in myocardial infarction and cardiovascular mortality also have been seen regularly. Elevated systolic or diastolic pressure causes increased cardiovascular risk, and the absolute risk increase per mmHg is greater at higher blood pressures, so that even modest reductions of severe hypertension can provide substantial benefit. Relative risk reduction from blood pressure reduction is similar across populations with varying absolute risk, so the absolute benefit is greater in patients who are at higher risk independent of their hypertension (for example, patients with diabetes or hyperlipidemia), and such patients would be expected to benefit from more aggressive treatment to a lower blood pressure goal. Some antihypertensive drugs have smaller blood pressure effects (as monotherapy) in black patients, and many antihypertensive drugs have additional approved indications and effects (e.g., on angina, heart failure, or diabetic kidney disease). These considerations may guide selection of therapy. Atenolol may be administered with other antihypertensive agents.",

"Description": "Filgrastim is a human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) manufactured by recombinant DNA technology. Filgrastim is produced by Escherichia coli (E. coli) bacteria into which has been inserted the human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor gene. Filgrastim has a molecular weight of 18,800 daltons. The protein has an amino acid sequence that is identical to the natural sequence predicted from human DNA sequence analysis, except for the addition of an N-terminal methionine necessary for expression in E. coli. Because filgrastim is produced in E. coli, the product is non-glycosylated and thus differs from G-CSF isolated from a human cell. NEUPOGEN (filgrastim) injection is a sterile, preservative-free, clear, and colorless liquid containing filgrastim at a specific activity of 1.0 ± 0.6 × 108 U/mg (as measured by a cell mitogenesis assay). The product is available in single-dose vials and single-dose prefilled syringes for subcutaneous use or intravenous use . The single-dose vials contain either 300 mcg/mL or 480 mcg/1.6 mL of filgrastim. The single-dose prefilled syringes contain either 300 mcg/0.5 mL or 480 mcg/0.8 mL of filgrastim. The NEUPOGEN drug product has a pH of 4.0. See table below for product composition of each single-dose vial or prefilled syringe."

"Description": "ELEVIDYS (delandistrogene moxeparvovec-rokl) is a recombinant gene therapy designed to deliver the gene encoding the ELEVIDYS micro-dystrophin protein. ELEVIDYS is a non-replicating, recombinant, adeno-associated virus serotype rh74 (AAVrh74) based vector containing the ELEVIDYS micro-dystrophin transgene under the control of the MHCK7 promoter. The genome within the ELEVIDYS AAVrh74 vector contains no viral genes and consequently is incapable of replication or reversion to a replicating form. The micro-dystrophin protein expressed by ELEVIDYS is a shortened version (138 kDa, compared to 427 kDa size of dystrophin expressed in normal muscle cells) that contains selected domains of dystrophin expressed in normal muscle cells. ELEVIDYS is a preservative-free, sterile, clear, colorless liquid that may have some opalescence and may contain white to off-white particles. ELEVIDYS is a suspension for intravenous infusion with a nominal concentration of 1.33 ×1013 vg/mL and supplied in a single-dose 10 mL vial. The use of Phenazopyridine Hydrochloride for relief of symptoms should not delay definitive diagnosis and treatment of causative conditions. The drug should be used for symptomatic relief of pain and not as a substitute for specific surgery or antimicrobial therapy. Phenazopyridine Hydrochloride is compatible with antimicrobial therapy and can help relieve pain and discomfort during the interval before antimicrobial therapy controls the infection. Treatment of a urinary tract infection with Phenazopyridine Hydrochloride should not exceed 2 days. There is no evidence that the combined administration of Phenazopyridine Hydrochloride and an antimicrobial provides greater benefit than administration of the antimicrobial alone after 2 days. (See DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION.).",

<IndicationAndUsage>Atenolol is indicated for the treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure. Atenolol may be administered with other antihypertensive agents.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>Atenolol, a synthetic, beta1-selective (cardioselective) adrenoreceptor blocking agent, may be chemically described as benzeneacetamide, 4-[2'-hydroxy-3'-[(1-methylethyl) amino] propoxy]-. The molecular and structural formulas are. Atenolol (free base) has a molecular weight of 266. It is a relatively polar hydrophilic compound with a water solubility of 26.5 mg/mL at 37°C and a log partition coefficient (octanol/water) of 0.23. It is freely soluble in 1N HCl (300 mg/mL at 25°C) and less soluble in chloroform (3 mg/mL at 25°C). Atenolol is available as 25 mg, 50 mg, and 100 mg tablets for oral administration. Inactive ingredients are: magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, and sodium starch glycolate.</Description>

<Description>Filgrastim is a human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) manufactured by recombinant DNA technology. See table below for product composition of each single-dose vial or prefilled syringe.</Description>

<IndicationAndUsage>ELEVIDYS is indicated for the treatment of patients 4 years of age and older with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), who are ambulatory and have a confirmed mutation in the DMD gene [see Clinical Pharmacology (12.2), Clinical Studies (14)].</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>ELEVIDYS (delandistrogene moxeparvovec-rokl) is a recombinant gene therapy designed to deliver the gene encoding the ELEVIDYS micro-dystrophin protein. Each vial contains an extractable volume of 10 mL and the following excipients: 200mM sodium chloride, 13 mM tromethamine HCl, 7 mM tromethamine, 1mM magnesium chloride, 0.001% poloxamer 188, with a pH of 8.0 ± 0.3.</Description>

<IndicationAndUsage>Phenazopyridine Hydrochloride is indicated for the symptomatic relief of pain, burning, urgency frequency, and other discomforts arising from irritation of the mucosa of the lower urinary tract caused by infection, trauma, surgery, endoscopic procedures, or the passage of sounds or catheters. (See DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION.).</IndicationAndUsage>

<IndicationAndUsage>Ampicillin for Injection, USP is indicated in the treatment of infections caused by susceptible strains of the designated organisms in the following conditions. Respiratory Tract Infections caused by S. pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus (penicillinase and nonpenicillinase-producing), H. influenzae, and Group A beta-hemolytic streptococci. Bacterial Meningitis caused by E. coli, Group B streptococci, and other Gram-negative bacteria ( Listeria monocytogenes, N. meningitidis). The addition of an aminoglycoside with ampicillin may increase its effectiveness against Gram-negative bacteria. Septicemia and Endocarditis caused by susceptible Gram-positive organisms including Streptococcus spp., penicillin G-susceptible staphylococci, and enterococci. Gram-negative sepsis caused by E. coli, Proteus mirabilis and Salmonella spp. responds to ampicillin. Endocarditis due to enterococcal strains usually respond to intravenous therapy. The addition of an aminoglycoside may enhance the effectiveness of ampicillin when treating streptococcal endocarditis. Urinary Tract Infections caused by sensitive strains of E. coli and Proteus mirabilis. Gastrointestinal Infections caused by Salmonella typhi (typhoid fever), other Salmonella spp., and Shigella spp. (dysentery) usually respond to oral or intravenous therapy. Bacteriology studies to determine the causative organisms and their susceptibility to ampicillin should be performed. Therapy may be instituted prior to obtaining results of susceptibility testing. It is advisable to reserve the parenteral form of this drug for moderately severe and severe infections and for patients who are unable to take the oral forms. A change to oral ampicillin may be made as soon as appropriate. To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of Ampicillin for Injection, USP and other antibacterial drugs, Ampicillin for Injection, USP should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria. When culture and susceptibility information are available, they should be considered in selecting or modifying antibacterial therapy. In the absence of such data, local epidemiology and susceptibility patterns may contribute to the empiric selection of therapy. Indicated surgical procedures should be performed.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>Ampicillin for Injection, USP the monosodium salt of [2S-[2α,5α,6β(S*)]]-6-[(aminophenylacetyl) amino]-3,3-dimethyl-7-oxo-4-thia-1-azabicyclo[3.2.0]heptane-2-carboxylic acid, is a synthetic penicillin. It is an antibacterial agent with a broad spectrum of bactericidal activity against both penicillin-susceptible Gram-positive organisms and many common Gram-negative pathogens. Ampicillin for Injection, USP is a dry, white to off-white powder. The reconstituted solution is clear, colorless and free from visible particulates.
