"Description": "EXPAREL (bupivacaine liposome injectable suspension) is a sterile, non-pyrogenic white to off-white preservative-free aqueous suspension consisting of multivesicular liposomes containing bupivacaine. Bupivacaine is present at a concentration of 13.3 mg/mL. After injection of EXPAREL, bupivacaine is released from the multivesicular liposomes. EXPAREL is for infiltration or perineural use."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen tablets are indicated for the management of, pain severe enough to require an opioid analgesic and for which alternative treatments are inadequate.Limitations of UseBecause of the risks of addiction, abuse, and misuse, with opioids, even at recommended doses [see WARNINGS], reserve hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen tablets for use in patients for whom alternative treatment options [e.g., non-opioid analgesics].",
"Description": "Hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen is supplied in tablet form for oral administration.Hydrocodone bitartrate is an opioid analgesic and antitussive and occurs as fine, white crystals or as a crystalline powder. It is affected by light. The chemical name is: 4,5α-epoxy-3-methoxy-17-methylmorphinan-6-one tartrate (1:1) hydrate (2:5). It has the following structural formula:. Acetaminophen, 4’-hydroxyacetanilide, a slightly bitter, white, odorless, crystalline powder, is a non-opiate, non-salicylate analgesic and antipyretic. It has the following structural formula. Hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen tablets USP, for oral administration, are available in a variety of strengths as described in the following table.Each hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen tablet contains. In addition each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, crospovidone, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, pregelatinized starch and stearic acid.Meets USP Dissolution Test 1."

"IndicationAndUsage": "To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of tetracycline hydrochloride and other antibacterial drugs, tetracycline hydrochloride should be used only to treat infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria. When culture and susceptibility information are available, they should be considered in selecting or modifying antibacterial therapy. In the absence of such data, local epidemiology and susceptibility patterns may contribute to the empiric selection of therapy. Tetracycline is indicated in the treatment of infections caused by susceptible strains of the designated organisms in the conditions listed below: 1 Upper respiratory tract infections caused by Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus pneumoniae and Hemophilus influenzae. Note: Tetracycline should not be used for streptococcal disease unless the organism has been demonstrated to be susceptible. , 2 Lower respiratory tract infections caused by Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Mycoplasma pneumoniae (Eaton agent, and Klebsiellasp .) , 3 Skin and soft tissue infections caused by Streptococcus pyogenes, Staphylococcus aureaus. (Tetracyclines are not the drugs of choice in the treatment of any type of staphylococcal infections.) , 4 Infections caused by rickettsia including Rocky Mountain spotted fever, typhus group infections, Q fever, rickettsialpox. , 5 Psittacosis caused by Chlamydophila psittaci., 6 Infections caused by Chlamydia trachomatis such as uncomplicated urethral, endocervical or rectal infections, inclusion conjunctivitis, trachoma, and lymphogranuloma venereum. , 7 Granuloma inquinale caused by Klebsiella granulomatis. , 8 Relapsing fever caused by Borreliasp. , 9 Bartonellosis caused by Bartonella bacilliformis. , 10 Chancroid caused by Hemophilus ducreyi. , 11 Tularemia caused by Francisella tularensis. , 12 Plaque caused by Yersinia pestis. , 13 Cholera caused by Vibrio cholerae. , 14 Brucellosis caused by Brucella species (tetracycline may be used in conjunction with an aminoglycoside). , 15 Infections due to Campylobacter fetus. , 16 As adjunctive therapy in intestinal amebiasis caused by Entamoeba histolytica. , 17 Urinary tract infections caused by susceptible strains of Escherichia coli, Klebsiella,etc. , 18 Other infections caused by susceptible gram-negative organisms such as E. coli, Enterobacter aerogenes, Shigellasp ., Acinetobactersp ., Klebsiellasp. ,and Bacteroidessp. , 19 In severe acne, adjunctive therapy with tetracycline may be useful.",
"Description": "Tetracycline is a yellow, odorless, crystalline powder. Tetracycline is stable in air but exposure to strong sunlight causes it to darken. Its potency is affected in solutions of pH below 2 and is rapidly destroyed by alkali hydroxide solutions. Tetracycline is very slightly soluble in water, freely soluble in dilute acid and in alkali hydroxide solutions, sparingly soluble in alcohol, and practically insoluble in chloroform and in ether. The chemical name for tetracycline hydrochloride is 4-(Dimethylamino) -1,4,4a,5,5a,6,11,12a-octahydro-3,6,10,12,-12a-pentahydroxy-6-methyl-1,11-dioxo-2-naphthacenecarboxamide monohydrochloride. Its structural formula is as follows. C 22H 24N 20 8·HCI M.W. 480.90. Each capsule, for oral administration, contains 250 mg or 500 mg tetracycline hydrochloride. Inactive Ingredients: Lactose, and magnesium stearate. The 250 mg and 500 mg capsule shells contain D&C Yellow No. 10, FD&C Yellow No. 6, gelatin, sodium lauryl sulfate, and titanium dioxide. The imprinting ink for the 250 mg and 500 mg capsules contains D&C Yellow No. 10, FD&C Blue No. 1, FD&C Blue No. 2, FD&C Red No. 40, iron oxide black, pharmaceutical shellac glaze, propylene glycol, n-butyl alcohol, and ferrosoferric oxide. This product complies with USP dissolution Test 2."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Prevention of nausea and vomiting associated with highly emetogenic cancer chemotherapy, including cisplatin ≥50 mg/m2. Prevention of nausea and vomiting associated with initial and repeat courses of moderately emetogenic cancer chemotherapy. Prevention of nausea and vomiting associated with radiotherapy in patients receiving either total body irradiation, single high-dose fraction to the abdomen, or daily fractions to the abdomen. Prevention of postoperative nausea and/or vomiting. As with other antiemetics, routine prophylaxis is not recommended for patients in whom there is little expectation that nausea and/or vomiting will occur postoperatively. In patients where nausea and/or vomiting must be avoided postoperatively, ondansetron orally disintegrating tablets, USP are recommended even where the incidence of postoperative nausea and/or vomiting is low.",
"Description": "The active ingredient in ondansetron orally disintegrating tablets, USP is ondansetron base, the racemic form of ondansetron, and a selective blocking agent of the serotonin 5-HT3 receptor type. Chemically it is (±) 1, 2, 3, 9-tetrahydro-9-methyl-3-[(2-methyl-1H-imidazol-1-yl)methyl]-4H-carbazol-4-one. It has the following structural formula. The molecular formula is C18H19N3O representing a molecular weight of 293.4. Ondansetron is a white to off-white powder.Each 4 mg ondansetron orally disintegrating tablet, USP for oral administration contains 4 mg ondansetron base. Each 8 mg ondansetron orally disintegrating tablet, USP for oral administration contains 8 mg ondansetron base. Each ondansetron orally disintegrating tablet also contains the inactive ingredients mannitol, crospovidone, lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, aspartame, strawberry guarana flavor, colloidal silicon dioxide, and magnesium stearate. The strawberry guarana flavor contains maltodextrin, propylene glycol, artificial flavors, and acetic acid. Ondansetron orally disintegrating tablets, USP are orally administered formulation of ondansetron which rapidly disintegrates on the tongue and does not require water to aid dissolution or swallowing.This product does not meet USP Disintegration Time. The 4 mg and 8 mg tablets disintegrate in approximately 60 seconds."

"Description": "Fluorouracil injection, USP a nucleoside metabolic inhibitor, is a colorless to faint yellow, aqueous, sterile, nonpyrogenic injectable solution available in 10 mL and 20 mL, a sterile preparation that contains single dose vial for intravenous administration. Each mL contains 50 mg fluorouracil in water for injection, USP. The pH is adjusted to approximately 9.2 with sodium hydroxide. Chemically, fluorouracil, a fluorinated pyrimidine, is 5-fluoro-2,4 (1H,3H)-pyrimidinedione. Its structural formula is. Molecular formula: C4H3FN2O2 Molecular weight: 130.08 g/mole."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Atenolol tablets are indicated for the treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure lowers the risk of fatal and non-fatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions. These benefits have been seen in controlled trials of antihypertensive drugs from a wide variety of pharmacologic classes including atenolol. Control of high blood pressure should be part of comprehensive cardiovascular risk management, including, as appropriate, lipid control, diabetes management, antithrombotic therapy, smoking cessation, exercise, and limited sodium intake. Many patients will require more than 1 drug to achieve blood pressure goals. For specific advice on goals and management, see published guidelines, such as those of the National High Blood Pressure Education Program's Joint National Committee on Prevention, Detection, Evaluation, and Treatment of High Blood Pressure (JNC). Numerous antihypertensive drugs, from a variety of pharmacologic classes and with different mechanisms of action, have been shown in randomized controlled trials to reduce cardiovascular morbidity and mortality, and it can be concluded that it is blood pressure reduction, and not some other pharmacologic property of the drugs, that is largely responsible for those benefits. The largest and most consistent cardiovascular outcome benefit has been a reduction in the risk of stroke, but reductions in myocardial infarction and cardiovascular mortality also have been seen regularly. Elevated systolic or diastolic pressure causes increased cardiovascular risk, and the absolute risk increase per mmHg is greater at higher blood pressures, so that even modest reductions of severe hypertension can provide substantial benefit. Relative risk reduction from blood pressure reduction is similar across populations with varying absolute risk, so the absolute benefit is greater in patients who are at higher risk independent of their hypertension (for example, patients with diabetes or hyperlipidemia), and such patients would be expected to benefit from more aggressive treatment to a lower blood pressure goal. Some antihypertensive drugs have smaller blood pressure effects (as monotherapy) in black patients, and many antihypertensive drugs have additional approved indications and effects (eg, on angina, heart failure, or diabetic kidney disease). These considerations may guide selection of therapy. Atenolol tablets may be administered with other antihypertensive agents.",
"Description": "Atenolol, a synthetic, beta 1-selective (cardioselective) adrenoreceptor blocking agent, may be chemically described as benzeneacetamide, 4 -[2’-hydroxy-3’-[(1- methylethyl) amino] propoxy]-. The molecular formula is C 14H 22N 2O 3 and its structural formula is:. Atenolol (free base) has a molecular weight of 266. It is a relatively polar hydrophilic compound with a water solubility of 26.5 mg/mL at 37° C and a log partition coefficient (octanol/water) of 0.23. It is freely soluble in 1N HCl (300 mg/mL at 25° C) and less soluble in chloroform (3 mg/mL at 25° C). Atenolol tablets, USP are available as 25, 50 and 100 mg tablets for oral administration. Inactive Ingredients: Colloidal silicon dioxide, corn starch, magnesium carbonate, magnesium stearate, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium starch glycolate."

It is a white or almost white powder, sparingly soluble in water; soluble in absolute alcohol and practically insoluble in ether. Atenolol tablets, for oral administration, are available as 25 mg, 50 mg and 100 mg tablets. "Description": "JAVADIN (clonidine hydrochloride) oral solution is a central alpha-2 adrenergic agonist hypotensive agent available as a 0.02 mg/mL solution for oral administration. Clonidine hydrochloride is an imidazoline derivative and exists as a mesomeric compound. The chemical name is 2-(2,6-dichlorophenylamino)-2-imidazoline hydrochloride. Its molecular formula is C9H9Cl2N3, HCl which corresponds to a molecular weight of 266.5. The following is the structural formula. Clonidine hydrochloride USP is a white or almost white crystalline powder. It is soluble in water, and ethanol and slightly soluble in Chloroform. JAVADIN is a clear colorless oral solution. Each mL contains 0.02 mg of clonidine hydrochloride (equivalent to 0.0173 mg of clonidine). The inactive ingredients are: mixed berry flavor, purified water, sodium chloride, sodium propionate, sucralose."
