"IndicationAndUsage": "Levalbuterol inhalation solution is indicated for the treatment or prevention of bronchospasm in adults, adolescents, and children 6 years of age and older with reversible obstructive airway disease.",
"Description": "Levalbuterol inhalation solution, USP is a sterile, clear, colorless, preservative-free solution of the hydrochloride salt of levalbuterol, the (R)-enantiomer of the drug substance racemic albuterol. Levalbuterol hydrochloride is a relatively selective beta 2-adrenergic receptor agonist [see Clinical Pharmacology (12)]. The chemical name for levalbuterol hydrochloride is (R)-α 1-[[(1,1-dimethylethyl) amino]methyl]-4-hydroxy-1,3-benzenedimethanol hydrochloride, and its established chemical structure is as follows:. The molecular weight of levalbuterol hydrochloride USP is 275.78, and its molecular formula is C 13H 21NO 3HCl. It is a white or almost white, crystalline powder, with a melting point of approximately 188 to 195°C and freely soluble in water. Levalbuterol hydrochloride is the USAN modified name for (R)-albuterol hydrochloride in the United States. Levalbuterol inhalation solution, USP is supplied in unit-dose vials and requires no dilution before administration by nebulization. Each 3 mL unit-dose vial contains 0.31 mg of levalbuterol (as 0.36 mg of levalbuterol hydrochloride USP) or 0.63 mg of levalbuterol (as 0.73 mg of levalbuterol hydrochloride USP) or 1.25 mg of levalbuterol (as 1.44 mg of levalbuterol hydrochloride USP), edetate disodium, sodium chloride to adjust tonicity and sulfuric acid to adjust the pH to 4.0 (3.3 to 4.5)."

"Description": "Zidovudine (formerly called azidothymidine [AZT]), a pyrimidine nucleoside analogue active against HIV-1. The chemical name of zidovudine is 3'-azido-3'-deoxythymidine; it has the following structural formula. Zidovudine USP is a white to beige, odorless, crystalline solid with a molecular weight of 267.24 and a solubility of 20.1 mg per mL in water at 25°C. The molecular formula is C10H13N5O4. Zidovudine Oral Solution, USP is for oral administration. Each (mL) of zidovudine oral solution contains 10 mg of zidovudine and the inactive ingredients sodium benzoate 0.2% (added as a preservative), citric acid anhydrous, strawberry cream flavor, glycerin, and sucrose.Meets USP Organic Impurities Procedure 2."

"Description": "Lamivudine (also known as 3TC) is a synthetic nucleoside analogue with activity against HIV-1 and HBV. The chemical name of lamivudine is (2R,cis)-4-amino-l-(2-hydroxymethyl-l,3-oxathiolan-5-yl)-(1H)-pyrimidin-2-one. Lamivudine is the (-)enantiomer of a dideoxy analogue of cytidine. Lamivudine has also been referred to as (-)2',3'-dideoxy, 3'-thiacytidine. It has a molecular formula of C8H11N3O3S and a molecular weight of 229.3 g per mol. It has the following structural formula:. Lamivudine USP is a white to off-white crystalline solid with a solubility of approximately 70 mg per mL in water at 20°C.Lamivudine oral solution USP is for oral administration. One milliliter (1 mL) of lamivudine oral solution USP contains 10 mg of lamivudine USP (10 mg per mL) in an aqueous solution and the inactive ingredients are liquid strawberry flavor, liquid banana flavor, citric acid (anhydrous), methylparaben, propylene glycol, propylparaben, sodium citrate (dihydrate), and sucrose (200 mg)."

"Description": "Nevirapine is a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI) with activity against Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 (HIV-1). Nevirapine is structurally a member of the dipyridodiazepinone chemical class of compounds.The chemical name of nevirapine is 11-cyclopropyl-5,11-dihydro-4-methyl-6H-dipyrido [3,2-b:2',3'-e][1,4] diazepin-6-one. Nevirapine USP is a white to off-white crystalline powder with the molecular weight of 266.30 and the molecular formula C15H14N4O. Nevirapine has the following structural formula. Nevirapine oral suspension, USP is for oral administration. Each 5 mL of nevirapine oral suspension contains 50 mg of nevirapine (as nevirapine hemihydrate). The suspension also contains the following inactive ingredients: carbopol 974PNF, methylparaben, propylparaben, non crystallizing sorbitol solution, sucrose, propylene glycol, polysorbate 80, sodium hydroxide, and purified water."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Citalopram oral solution, USP is indicated for the treatment of depression.The efficacy of citalopram oral solution, USP in the treatment of depression was established in 4 to 6 week, controlled trials of outpatients whose diagnosis corresponded most closely to the DSM-III and DSM-III-R category of major depressive disorder (see CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY).A major depressive episode (DSM-IV) implies a prominent and relatively persistent (nearly every day for at least 2 weeks) depressed or dysphoric mood that usually interferes with daily functioning, and includes at least five of the following nine symptoms: depressed mood, loss of interest in usual activities, significant change in weight and/or appetite, insomnia or hypersomnia, psychomotor agitation or retardation, increased fatigue, feelings of guilt or worthlessness, slowed thinking or impaired concentration, a suicide attempt or suicidal ideation. The antidepressant action of citalopram oral solution, USP in hospitalized depressed patients has not been adequately studied.The efficacy of citalopram oral solution, USP in maintaining an antidepressant response for up to 24 weeks following 6 to 8 weeks of acute treatment was demonstrated in two placebo-controlled trials (see CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY). Nevertheless, the physician who elects to use citalopram oral solution, USP for extended periods should periodically re-evaluate the long-term usefulness of the drug for the individual patient.",
"Description": "Citalopram hydrobromide is an orally administered selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) with a chemical structure unrelated to that of other SSRIs or of tricyclic, tetracyclic, or other available antidepressant agents. Citalopram hydrobromide is a racemic bicyclic phthalane derivative designated (±)-1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-1-(4-fluorophenyl)-1,3-dihydroisobenzofuran-5-carbonitrile, hydrobromide with the following structural formula. The molecular formula is C20H22BrFN2O and its molecular weight is 405.35.Citalopram hydrobromide USP occurs as a fine, white to off-white powder. Citalopram hydrobromide is sparingly soluble in water and soluble in ethanol.Citalopram hydrobromide is available as an oral solution.Citalopram oral solution, USP contains citalopram hydrobromide USP equivalent to 2 mg/mL citalopram base. It also contains the following inactive ingredients: non crystallizing sorbitol solution, purified water, propylene glycol, methylparaben, natural peppermint flavor, and propylparaben."

"Description": "Abacavir sulfate is a synthetic carbocyclic nucleoside analogue with inhibitory activity against HIV-1. The chemical name of abacavir sulfate is (1S,cis)-4-[2-amino-6-(cyclopropylamino)-9H-purin-9-yl]-2-cyclopentene-1-methanol sulfate (salt) (2:1). Abacavir sulfate is the enantiomer with 1S, 4R absolute configuration on the cyclopentene ring. It has a molecular formula of (C14H18N6O)2H2SO4 and a molecular weight of 670.76 g per mol. It has the following structural formula. Abacavir sulfate USP is a white to off-white solid and is soluble in water. Abacavir oral solution USP is for oral administration. Each milliliter (1 mL) of abacavir oral solution USP contains abacavir sulfate USP equivalent to 20 mg of abacavir (i.e., 20 mg per mL) as active ingredient and the following inactive ingredients: artificial strawberry and banana flavors, citric acid anhydrous, methylparaben and propylparaben (added as preservatives), propylene glycol, saccharin sodium, sodium citrate (dihydrate), noncrystallizing sorbitol solution, and water. In vivo, abacavir sulfate dissociates to its free base, abacavir. Dosages are expressed in terms of abacavir."

"Description": "Escitalopram oral solution, USP contains escitalopram a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), present as escitalopram oxalate salt. Escitalopram is the pure S- enantiomer (single isomer) of the racemic bicyclic phthalane derivative citalopram. Escitalopram oxalate is designated S-(+)-1-[3(dimethyl-amino)propyl]-1-(p-fluorophenyl)-5-phthalancarbonitrile oxalate with the following structural formula. The molecular formula is C20H21FN2O C2H2O4 and the molecular weight is 414.40.Escitalopram oxalate USP occurs as a fine, white to almost white, crystalline powder and is freely soluble in methanol and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), soluble in isotonic saline solution, sparingly soluble in water and ethanol, slightly soluble in ethyl acetate, and insoluble in heptane.Escitalopram oral solution USP contains 1.28 mg/mL escitalopram oxalate USP equivalent to 1 mg/mL escitalopram base. It also contains the following inactive ingredients: anhydrous citric acid, DL – malic acid, glycerin, methylparaben, natural peppermint flavor, noncrystalizing sorbitol solution, propylene glycol, propylparaben, purified water, and sodium citrate."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Levalbuterol inhalation solution is indicated for the treatment or prevention of bronchospasm in adults, adolescents, and children 6 years of age and older with reversible obstructive airway disease.",
"Description": "Levalbuterol inhalation solution, USP is a sterile, clear, colorless, preservative-free solution of the hydrochloride salt of levalbuterol, the (R)-enantiomer of the drug substance racemic albuterol. Levalbuterol hydrochloride is a relatively selective beta 2-adrenergic receptor agonist [see Clinical Pharmacology (12)]. The chemical name for levalbuterol hydrochloride is (R)-α 1-[[(1,1-dimethylethyl) amino]methyl]-4-hydroxy-1,3-benzenedimethanol hydrochloride, and its established chemical structure is as follows:. The molecular weight of levalbuterol hydrochloride USP is 275.78, and its molecular formula is C 13H 21NO 3HCl. It is a white or almost white, crystalline powder, with a melting point of approximately 188 to 195°C and freely soluble in water. Levalbuterol hydrochloride is the USAN modified name for (R)-albuterol hydrochloride in the United States. Levalbuterol inhalation solution, USP is supplied in unit-dose vials and requires no dilution before administration by nebulization. Each 3 mL unit-dose vial contains 0.31 mg of levalbuterol (as 0.36 mg of levalbuterol hydrochloride USP) or 0.63 mg of levalbuterol (as 0.73 mg of levalbuterol hydrochloride USP) or 1.25 mg of levalbuterol (as 1.44 mg of levalbuterol hydrochloride USP), edetate disodium, sodium chloride to adjust tonicity and sulfuric acid to adjust the pH to 4.0 (3.3 to 4.5)."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Fosphenytoin sodium injection is indicated for the treatment of generalized tonic-clonic status epilepticus and prevention and treatment of seizures occurring during neurosurgery. Fosphenytoin sodium injection can also be substituted, short-term, for oral phenytoin. Fosphenytoin sodium injection should be used only when oral phenytoin administration is not possible [see Dosage and Administration (2.4) and Warnings and Precautions (5.2)].",
"Description": "Fosphenytoin sodium injection, USP is a prodrug intended for parenteral administration; its active metabolite is phenytoin. 1.5 mg of fosphenytoin sodium USP is equivalent to 1 mg phenytoin sodium, and is referred to as 1 mg phenytoin sodium equivalents (PE). The amount and concentration of fosphenytoin is always expressed in terms of mg PE. The pharmacological class of the fosphenytoin sodium is hydantoin derivative, and the therapeutic class is anticonvulsant. Fosphenytoin sodium injection, USP is marketed in 10 mL vials containing a total of 500 mg PE/10mL (50 mg PE/mL), for intravenous or intramuscular administration. The concentration of each vial is 50 mg PE/mL. Fosphenytoin sodium injection, USP is supplied in vials as a sterile solution in Water for Injection, USP, and Tromethamine, USP (TRIS) (12 mg/mL), buffer adjusted to pH 8.6 to 9.0 with either Hydrochloric Acid, NF, or Sodium Hydroxide, NF. Fosphenytoin sodium injection, USP is a clear, colorless to pale yellow, sterile solution. The chemical name of fosphenytoin is 5,5-diphenyl-3-[(phosphonooxy)methyl]-2,4-imidazolidinedione disodium salt. The molecular structure of fosphenytoin is. The molecular weight of fosphenytoin is 406.24."

"Description": "Citalopram tablets, USP contains citalopram, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). Citalopram hydrobromide is a racemic bicyclic phthalane structure and is designated (±)-1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-1-(4-fluorophenyl)-1,3-dihydroisobenzofuran-5-carbonitrile hydrobromide with the following structural formula. The molecular formula is C20H22BrFN2O and its molecular weight is 405.35.Citalopram hydrobromide USP occurs as a fine, white to off-white powder. Citalopram hydrobromide is sparingly soluble in water and soluble in ethanol. Citalopram tablets, USP are for oral administration and are available as film-coated round and capsule shaped tablets. The strengths reflect citalopram base equivalent content. The 10 mg, 20 mg, and 40 mg strength tablets contain 12.49 mg, 24.98 mg, and 49.96 mg of citalopram hydrobromide, respectively. The 20 mg and 40 mg tablets are scored. Inactive ingredients: copovidone, corn starch, croscarmellose sodium, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, and titanium dioxide. Iron oxides are used as coloring agents in the peach (10 mg) and light pink (20 mg) tablets."
