"IndicationAndUsage": "FENOPROFEN CALCIUM is indicated for. Relief of mild to moderate pain in adults Relief of the signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis Relief of the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis.",
"Description": "Fenoprofen calcium capsules, USP is a nonsteroidal, anti-inflammatory drug available in 200 mg, 300mg and 400 mg capsule form for oral administration. The 200 mg capsule has a Size \"0\" hard gelatin capsules with light Brown opaque cap imprinted with \"FENO 200\" in black and white opaque body imprinted with \"ZN05\" in black, filled with white to off-white granular powder. The 300 mg capsule has a Size \"0el\" hard gelatin capsules with brown opaque cap · imprinted with 'FENO 300' in black and yellow opaque body imprinted with \"ZN07\" in black, filled with white to off-white granular powder. The 400 mg capsule has a Size \"00\" hard gelatin capsules with green opaque cap imprinted with 'FENO 400' in black and blue opaque body imprinted with \"ZN04\" in white, filled with white to off-white granular powder. The chemical name is Benzeneacetic acid, α-methyl-3-phenoxy-, calcium salt dihydrate, (±)-. The molecular weight is 558.65. Its molecular formula is C 30H 26CaO 62H 2O, and it has the following chemical structure. Fenoprofen calcium is an arylacetic acid derivative. It is a white crystalline powder. At 25°C, it dissolves to a 15 mg/mL solution in alcohol (95%). It is slightly soluble in water and insoluble in benzene. The pKa of fenoprofen calcium is 4.5 at 25°C. Fenoprofen calcium capsules, USP contain fenoprofen calcium as the dihydrate in an amount equivalent to 200 mg (0.826 mmol) or 300 mg (1.24 mmol) or 400 mg (1.65 mmol) of fenoprofen. Inactive ingredients in Fenoprofen calcium capsules are crospovidone, magnesium stearate, sodium lauryl sulfate, and talc. In addition, the 200 mg capsules contain gelatin, titanium dioxide, yellow iron oxide, and the 300 mg capsules contain gelatin, FD&C Yellow #6, FD&C Blue #1, FD&C Red #40, FD&C Yellow #5, and titanium dioxide, and the 400 mg capsules contain gelatin, titanium dioxide, iron oxide yellow and FD&C Blue 2."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Propofol injectable emulsion is an intravenous general anesthetic and sedation drug indicated for: : 1 Induction of General Anesthesia for Patients Greater than or Equal to 3 Years of Age , 2 Maintenance of General Anesthesia for Patients Greater than or Equal to 2 Months of Age , 3 Initiation and Maintenance of Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC) Sedation in Adult Patients , 4 Sedation for Adult Patients in Combination with Regional Anesthesia , 5 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Sedation of Intubated, Mechanically Ventilated Adult Patients .",
"Description": "Propofol Injectable Emulsion, USP is an anesthetic available as a sterile, nonpyrogenic white to slight off-white homogeneous emulsion for intravenous administration. The structural formula is. Chemical name: 2,6-diisopropylphenol. Molecular formula: C12H18O. Molecular weight: 178.28. Propofol, USP is slightly soluble in water. The pKa is 11. The octanol/water partition coefficient for propofol is 6761:1 at a pH of 6 to 8.5. Each mL of propofol injectable emulsion, USP contains 10 mg of propofol, 100 mg of soybean oil (100 mg/mL), 22.5 mg of glycerol (22.5 mg/mL), 12 mg of egg lecithin (12 mg/mL), 1.5 mg of benzyl alcohol (1.5 mg/mL), 0.7 mg of sodium benzoate (0.7 mg/mL), and sodium hydroxide to adjust pH, in water for injection. Propofol Injectable Emulsion, USP is isotonic and has a pH of 6 to 8.5."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Losartan potassium tablets USP are indicated for the treatment of hypertension. It may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents, including diuretics.",
"Description": "Losartan potassium is an angiotensin II receptor (type AT1) antagonist. Losartan potassium, a non-peptide molecule, is chemically described as 2-butyl-4-chloro-1-[p-(o-1H-tetrazol-5-ylphenyl)benzyl]imidazole-5-methanol monopotassium salt. Its empirical formula is C22H22ClKN6O, and its structural formula is:. Losartan potassium USP is a white to off-white free-flowing crystalline powder with a molecular weight of 461.01. It is freely soluble in water, soluble in alcohols, and slightly soluble in common organic solvents, such as acetonitrile and methyl ethyl ketone. Oxidation of the 5-hydroxymethyl group on the imidazole ring results in the active metabolite of losartan. Losartan potassium is available as tablets for oral administration containing either 25 mg, 50 mg or 100 mg of losartan potassium and the following inactive ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, pregelatinized starch, magnesium stearate, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose and titanium dioxide. "IndicationAndUsage": "Parenteral therapy should be reserved for patients unable to take oral medication or for patients in emergency clinical situations. Edema:Furosemide is indicated in adults and pediatric patients for the treatment of edema associated with congestive heart failure, cirrhosis of the liver, and renal disease, including the nephrotic syndrome. Furosemide is particularly useful when an agent with greater diuretic potential is desired. Furosemide is indicated as adjunctive therapy in acute pulmonary edema. The intravenous administration of furosemide is indicated when a rapid onset of diuresis is desired, e.g., in acute pulmonary edema. If gastrointestinal absorption is impaired or oral medication is not practical for any reason, furosemide is indicated by the intravenous or intramuscular route. Parenteral use should be replaced with oral furosemide as soon as practical.",
"Description": "Furosemide is a diuretic which is an anthranilic acid derivative. Chemically, it is 4-chloro- N-furfuryl-5-sulfamoylanthranilic acid. Furosemide Injection, USP 10 mg/mL is a sterile, non-pyrogenic solution in vials for intravenous and intramuscular injection. Furosemide USP is a white to slightly yellowish, odorless crystalline powder. It is practically insoluble in water, freely soluble in acetone, in dimethyl formamide, and in solutions of alkali hydroxides, soluble in methanol, sparingly soluble in alcohol, slightly soluble in ether, very slightly soluble in chloroform. The structural formula is as follows. Molecular Formula: Molecular Weight: C 12H 11ClN 2O 5S 330.74. Each mL contains: Furosemide USP 10 mg, Water for Injection q.s., Sodium Chloride 7.4 mg (for isotonicity), Sodium Hydroxide and, if necessary, Hydrochloric Acid to adjust pH between 8.0 and 9.3."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Piperacillin and Tazobactam for Injection, USP is a combination of piperacillin, a penicillin-class antibacterial and tazobactam, a beta-lactamase inhibitor, indicated for the treatment of: 1 Intra-abdominal infections in adult and pediatric patients 2 months of age and older (1.1), 2 Nosocomial pneumonia in adult and pediatric patients 2 months of age and older (1.2), 3 Skin and skin structure infections in adults (1.3), 4 Female pelvic infections in adults (1.4), 5 Community-acquired pneumonia in adults (1.5).",
"Description": "Piperacillin and tazobactam for injection, USP is an injectable antibacterial combination product consisting of the semisynthetic antibacterial piperacillin sodium and the beta-lactamase inhibitor tazobactam sodium for intravenous administration. Piperacillin sodium is derived from D(-)-α-aminobenzyl-penicillin. The chemical name of piperacillin sodium is sodium (2S,5R,6R)-6-[(R)-2-(4-ethyl-2,3-dioxo-1-piperazine-carboxamido)-2- phenylacetamido]-3,3-dimethyl-7-oxo-4-thia-1-azabicyclo[3.2.0]heptane-2-carboxylate. The chemical formula is C23H26N5NaO7S and the molecular weight is 539.5. The chemical structure of piperacillin sodium is. Tazobactam sodium, a derivative of the penicillin nucleus, is a penicillanic acid sulfone. Its chemical name is sodium (2S,3S,5R)-3-methyl-7-oxo-3-(1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-ylmethyl)-4-thia-1-azabicyclo[3.2.0]heptane-2-carboxylate-4,4-dioxide. The chemical formula is C10H11N4NaO5S and the molecular weight is 322.3. The chemical structure of tazobactam sodium is. Piperacillin and tazobactam for injection, USP contains a total of 2.35 mEq (54 mg) of sodium (Na+) per gram of piperacillin in the combination product. Piperacillin and tazobactam for injection, USP is a white to off-white sterile, cryodesiccated powder consisting of piperacillin and tazobactam as their sodium salts packaged in glass vials. The product does not contain excipients or preservatives. : 1 Each piperacillin and tazobactam for injection, USP 2.25 g single-dose vial contains an amount of drug sufficient for withdrawal of piperacillin sodium equivalent to 2 grams of piperacillin and tazobactam sodium equivalent to 0.25 g of tazobactam. Each vial contains 4.69 mEq (108 mg) of sodium., 2 Each piperacillin and tazobactam for injection, USP 3.375 g single-dose vial contains an amount of drug sufficient for withdrawal of piperacillin sodium equivalent to 3 grams of piperacillin and tazobactam sodium equivalent to 0.375 g of tazobactam. Each vial contains 7.04 mEq (162 mg) of sodium., 3 Each piperacillin and tazobactam for injection, USP 4.5 g single-dose vial contains an amount of drug sufficient for withdrawal of piperacillin sodium equivalent to 4 grams of piperacillin and tazobactam sodium equivalent to 0.5 g of tazobactam. "IndicationAndUsage": "Nicardipine hydrochloride capsules are indicated for the management of patients with chronic stable angina (effort-associated angina). Nicardipine hydrochloride capsules may be used alone or in combination with beta-blockers.",
"Description": "Nicardipine hydrochloride capsules for oral administration each contain 20 mg or 30 mg of nicardipine hydrochloride. Nicardipine hydrochloride capsules are a calcium ion influx inhibitor (slow channel blocker or calcium channel blocker). Nicardipine hydrochloride is a dihydropyridine structure with the IUPAC (International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry) chemical name 2-(benzyl-methyl amino)ethyl methyl 1,4-dihydro-2,6-dimethyl-4-(m-nitrophenyl)-3,5-pyridinedicarboxylate monohydrochloride, and it has the following structure. Nicardipine hydrochloride is a greenish-yellow, odorless, crystalline powder that melts at about 169°C. It is freely soluble in chloroform, methanol and glacial acetic acid, sparingly soluble in anhydrous ethanol, slightly soluble in n-butanol, water, 0.01 M potassium dihydrogen phosphate, acetone and dioxane, very slightly soluble in ethyl acetate, and practically insoluble in benzene, ether and hexane. It has a molecular weight of 515.99. Each capsule, for oral administration, contains 20 mg or 30 mg of nicardipine hydrochloride. In addition, each capsule contains the following inactive ingredients: magnesium stearate, pregelatinized starch, titanium dioxide, gelatin and FD&C Blue #1. The colorants used in the capsules are black iron oxide, FD&C Blue #2, FD&C Red #40, D&C Yellow #10 and FD&C Blue #1. In addition, the 30 mg capsules also contain propylene glycol."

Nicardipine hydrochloride is a dihydropyridine structure with the IUPAC (International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry) chemical name 2-(benzyl-methyl amino)ethyl methyl 1,4-dihydro-2,6-dimethyl-4-(m-nitrophenyl)-3,5-pyridinedicarboxylate monohydrochloride, and it has the following structure. Nicardipine hydrochloride is a greenish-yellow, odorless, crystalline powder that melts at about 169°C. It is freely soluble in chloroform, methanol and glacial acetic acid, sparingly soluble in anhydrous ethanol, slightly soluble in n-butanol, water, 0.01 M potassium dihydrogen phosphate, acetone and dioxane, very slightly soluble in ethyl acetate, and practically insoluble in benzene, ether and hexane. It has a molecular weight of 515.99. Each capsule, for oral administration, contains 20 mg or 30 mg of nicardipine hydrochloride. "Description": "Levetiracetam in Sodium Chloride Injection is an antiepileptic drug available as a clear, colorless, sterile solution for intravenous administration. The chemical name of levetiracetam, a single enantiomer, is (-)-(S)-α-ethyl-2-oxo-1-pyrrolidine acetamide, its molecular formula is C8H14N2O2 and its molecular weight is 170.21. Levetiracetam is chemically unrelated to existing antiepileptic drugs (AEDs). It has the following structural formula. Levetiracetam is a white to off-white crystalline powder with a faint odor and a bitter taste. It is very soluble in water (104.0 g/100 mL). It is freely soluble in chloroform (65.3 g/100 mL) and in methanol (53.6 g/100 mL), soluble in ethanol (16.5 g/100 mL), sparingly soluble in acetonitrile (5.7 g/100 mL) and practically insoluble in n-hexane. (Solubility limits are expressed as g/100 mL solvent.). Levetiracetam in Sodium Chloride Injection is a clear, colorless, sterile solution that is available in a single-dose dual port bag with an aluminum overwrap. The container closure is not made with natural rubber latex. 500 mg/100 mL: One 100 mL bag contains 500 mg of levetiracetam (5 mg/mL), water for injection, 820 mg sodium chloride, 5.5 mg of glacial acetic acid and buffered at approximately pH 5.5 with glacial acetic acid and 164 mg sodium acetate trihydrate. 1000 mg/100 mL: One 100 mL bag contains 1000 mg of levetiracetam (10 mg/mL), water for injection, 750 mg sodium chloride, 6.5 mg of glacial acetic acid and buffered at approximately pH 5.5 with glacial acetic acid and 164 mg sodium acetate trihydrate. 1500 mg/100 mL: One 100 mL bag contains 1500 mg of levetiracetam (15 mg/mL), water for injection, 540 mg sodium chloride, 7.5 mg of glacial acetic acid and buffered at approximately pH 5.5 with glacial acetic acid and 164 mg sodium acetate trihydrate."

"Description": "HEPSERA® is the tradename for adefovir dipivoxil, a diester prodrug of adefovir. Adefovir is an acyclic nucleotide analog with activity against human hepatitis B virus (HBV). The chemical name of adefovir dipivoxil is 9-[2-[[bis[(pivaloyloxy)methoxy]-phosphinyl]-methoxy]ethyl]adenine. It has a molecular formula of C20H32N5O8P, a molecular weight of 501.48 and the following structural formula. Adefovir dipivoxil is a white to off-white crystalline powder with an aqueous solubility of 19 mg/mL at pH 2.0 and 0.4 mg/mL at pH 7.2. It has an octanol/aqueous phosphate buffer (pH 7) partition coefficient (log p) of 1.91. HEPSERA tablets are for oral administration. Each tablet contains 10 mg of adefovir dipivoxil and the following inactive ingredients: croscarmellose sodium, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, pregelatinized starch, and talc."

EpiPen and EpiPen Jr are intended for immediate administration as emergency supportive therapy only and are not a substitute for immediate medical care.",
"Description": "EpiPen (epinephrine injection, USP) 0.3 mg and EpiPen Jr (epinephrine injection, USP) 0.15 mg are single-dose auto-injectors and combination products containing drug and device components. Each EpiPen Auto-Injector, 0.3 mg delivers a single dose of 0.3 mg epinephrine from epinephrine injection, USP 0.3 mg/0.3 mL in a sterile solution. Each EpiPen Jr Auto-Injector, 0.15 mg delivers a single dose of 0.15 mg epinephrine from epinephrine injection, USP 0.15 mg/0.3 mL in a sterile solution. Each 0.3 mL in the EpiPen Auto-Injector contains 0.3 mg epinephrine, 1.8 mg sodium chloride, 0.5 mg sodium metabisulfite, hydrochloric acid to adjust pH, and Water for Injection. The pH range is 2.2-5.0. Each 0.3 mL in the EpiPen Jr Auto-Injector contains 0.15 mg epinephrine, 1.8 mg sodium chloride, 0.5 mg sodium metabisulfite, hydrochloric acid to adjust pH, and Water for Injection. The pH range is 2.2-5.0. Epinephrine is a sympathomimetic catecholamine. Chemically, epinephrine is (-)-3,4- Dihydroxy-α-[(methylamino)methyl]benzyl alcohol with the following structure. Epinephrine solution deteriorates rapidly on exposure to air or light, turning pink from oxidation to adrenochrome and brown from the formation of melanin. Replace EpiPen and EpiPen Jr if the epinephrine solution appears discolored (pinkish or brown color), cloudy, or contains particles.
