"IndicationAndUsage": "QuilliChew ER is indicated for the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) [see Clinical Studies (14)]. Limitations of Use. The use of QuilliChew ER is not recommended in pediatric patients younger than 6 years of age because they had higher plasma exposure and a higher incidence of adverse reactions (e.g., weight loss) than patients 6 years and older at the same dosage [see Warnings and Precautions (5.7), Use in Specific Populations (8.4)].",
"Description": "QuilliChew ER (methylphenidate hydrochloride extended-release chewable tablets) contains methylphenidate and methylphenidate hydrochloride. QuilliChew ER is available in three dosage strengths - 20 mg, 30 mg and 40 mg. The dosage strengths are expressed in terms of methylphenidate hydrochloride equivalents; however only 15% of methylphenidate is present as methylphenidate hydrochloride salt. The remaining 85% is present as methylphenidate complexed with sodium polystyrene sulfonate. QuilliChew ER contains the equivalent of approximately 30% immediate-release and 70% extended-release methylphenidate. The QuilliChew ER extended-release chewable tablets are cherry flavored. Methylphenidate is a central nervous system (CNS) stimulant. The chemical name is methyl α- phenyl-2-piperidineacetate. Figure 1: Methylphenidate. C14H19NO2 Mol. Wt. 233.31. QuilliChew ER also contains the following inactive ingredients: aspartame [see Warnings and Precautions (5.8)], cherry flavor, citric acid, crospovidone, D&C red #30 (for 30 mg strength), D&C red #7 (for 40 mg strength), guar gum, magnesium stearate, mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, polyvinyl acetate, polyvinyl alcohol, povidone, silicon dioxide, sodium polystyrene sulfonate, talc, triacetin, xanthan gum."

When prescribing solely for the treatment of symptoms of vulvar and vaginal atrophy, topical vaginal products should be considered. , 3 Treatment of hypoestrogenism due to hypogonadism, castration or primary ovarian failure. , 4 Prevention of postmenopausal osteoporosis. When prescribing solely for the prevention of postmenopausal osteoporosis, therapy should only be considered for women at significant risk of osteoporosis and non-estrogen medications should be carefully considered. The mainstays for decreasing the risk of postmenopausal osteoporosis are weight bearing exercise, adequate calcium and vitamin D intake, and when indicated, pharmacologic therapy. Postmenopausal women require an average of 1500 mg/day of elemental calcium. Therefore, when not contraindicated, calcium supplementation may be helpful for women with suboptimal dietary intake. Vitamin D supplementation of 400 IU/day to 800 IU/day may also be required to ensure adequate daily intake in postmenopausal women.",

<IndicationAndUsage>QuilliChew ER is indicated for the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) [see Clinical Studies (14)]. Limitations of Use. The use of QuilliChew ER is not recommended in pediatric patients younger than 6 years of age because they had higher plasma exposure and a higher incidence of adverse reactions (e.g., weight loss) than patients 6 years and older at the same dosage [see Warnings and Precautions (5.7), Use in Specific Populations (8.4)].</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>QuilliChew ER (methylphenidate hydrochloride extended-release chewable tablets) contains methylphenidate and methylphenidate hydrochloride. Wt. 233.31. QuilliChew ER also contains the following inactive ingredients: aspartame [see Warnings and Precautions (5.8)], cherry flavor, citric acid, crospovidone, D&C red #30 (for 30 mg strength), D&C red #7 (for 40 mg strength), guar gum, magnesium stearate, mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, polyvinyl acetate, polyvinyl alcohol, povidone, silicon dioxide, sodium polystyrene sulfonate, talc, triacetin, xanthan gum.</Description>

<IndicationAndUsage>Estradiol Transdermal System Continuous Delivery (Once-Weekly), USP is indicated in the: 1 Treatment of moderate to severe vasomotor symptoms associated with the menopause. , 2 Treatment of moderate to severe symptoms of vulvar and vaginal atrophy associated with the menopause. Vitamin D supplementation of 400 IU/day to 800 IU/day may also be required to ensure adequate daily intake in postmenopausal women.</IndicationAndUsage>
