"Description": "RimabotulinumtoxinB is an acetylcholine release inhibitor. RimabotulinumtoxinB is a 700 kDA botulinum toxin type B complex produced from fermentation of the bacterium Clostridium botulinum type B (Bean strain) and exists in noncovalent association with hemagglutinin and nonhemagglutinin proteins as a neurotoxin complex. The neurotoxin complex is recovered from the fermentation process and purified through a series of precipitation and chromatography steps. MYOBLOC (rimabotulinumtoxinB) injection is a sterile, preservative-free, clear and colorless to light-yellow solution in a single-dose vial for intramuscular or intraglandular use. Each vial contains 2,500 Units/0.5 mL; 5,000 units/mL; or 10,000 Units/2 mL of rimabotulinumtoxinB at a concentration of 5,000 Units/mL at approximately pH 5.6. Each 2,500 Units/0.5 mL vial of MYOBLOC contains 2,500 Units rimabotulinumtoxinB, 0.235 mg albumin human, 2.9 mg sodium chloride and 1.35 mg sodium succinate. Each 5,000 Units/mL vial of MYOBLOC contains 5,000 Units rimabotulinumtoxinB, 0.47 mg albumin human, 5.8 mg sodium chloride and 2.7 mg sodium succinate. Each 10,000 Units/2 mL vial of MYOBLOC contains 10,000 Units rimabotulinumtoxinB, 0.94 mg albumin human, 11.6 mg sodium chloride and 5.4 mg sodium succinate. One unit of MYOBLOC corresponds to the calculated median lethal intraperitoneal dose (LD50) in mice. The method for performing the assay is specific to Solstice Neurosciences' manufacture of MYOBLOC. Due to differences in specific details such as the vehicle, dilution scheme and laboratory protocols for various mouse LD50 assays, Units of biological activity of MYOBLOC cannot be compared to or converted into Units of any other botulinum toxin or any toxin assessed with any other specific assay method. Therefore, differences in species sensitivities to different botulinum neurotoxin serotypes preclude extrapolation of animal dose-activity relationships to human dose estimates. The specific activity of MYOBLOC ranges between 70 to 130 Units/ng."

"Description": "Venlafaxine Extended Release Tablets (venlafaxine hydrochloride) are extended-release tablets for oral administration that contain venlafaxine hydrochloride, a structurally novel antidepressant. Venlafaxine hydrochloride is a selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI). It is designated (R/S)-1-[2-(dimethylamino)-1-(4-methoxyphenyl)ethyl] cyclohexanol hydrochloride or (±)-1-[α- [(dimethylamino)methyl]-p-methoxybenzyl] cyclohexanol hydrochloride and has the empirical formula of C17H27NO2 HCl. Its molecular weight is 313.87. The structural formula is shown below. Venlafaxine hydrochloride is a white to off-white crystalline solid with a solubility of 572 mg/mL in water (adjusted to ionic strength of 0.2 M with sodium chloride). Its octanol:water (0.2 M sodium chloride) partition coefficient is 0.43. Venlafaxine Extended Release Tablets are formulated as extended-release tablet for once-a-day oral administration. Venlafaxine Extended Release Tablets use osmotic pressure to deliver venlafaxine hydrochloride at a controlled rate over approximately 24 hours. The system, which resembles a conventional tablet in appearance, comprises an osmotically active core surrounded by a semipermeable membrane. The unitary tablet core is composed of the drug and excipients (including the osmotically active components). There is a precision-laser drilled orifice in the semipermeable membrane on the side of the tablet. In an aqueous environment, such as the gastrointestinal tract, water permeates through the membrane into the tablet core, causing the drug to dissolve and the osmotic components to expand. This expansion pushes the drug out through the orifice. The semipermeable membrane controls the rate at which water permeates into the tablet core, which in turn controls the rate of drug delivery. The controlled rate of drug delivery into the gastrointestinal lumen is thus independent of pH or gastrointestinal motility. The function of Venlafaxine Extended Release Tablets depends on the existence of an osmotic gradient between the contents of the core and the fluid in the gastrointestinal tract. Since the osmotic gradient remains constant, drug delivery remains essentially constant. The biologically inert components of the tablet remain intact during gastrointestinal transit and are eliminated in the feces as an insoluble shell. Tablets contain venlafaxine hydrochloride equivalent to 37.5 mg, 75 mg, 150 mg, or 225 mg venlafaxine. Inactive ingredients consist of black iron oxide, cellulose acetate, colloidal silicon dioxide, hypromellose, lactose, magnesium stearate, mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, povidone, propylene glycol, titanium dioxide, and triacetin."

"Description": "The Potassium Chloride Extended-release Tablets, USP 20 mEq product is an immediately dispersing extended-release oral dosage form of potassium chloride containing 1500 mg of microencapsulated potassium chloride, USP equivalent to 20 mEq of potassium in a tablet. The Potassium Chloride Extended-release Tablets, USP 10 mEq product is an immediately dispersing extended release oral dosage form of potassium chloride containing 750 mg of microencapsulated potassium chloride, USP equivalent to 10 mEq of potassium in a tablet. These formulations are intended to slow the release of potassium so that the likelihood of a high localized concentration of potassium chloride within the gastrointestinal tract is reduced. Potassium Chloride is an electrolyte replenisher. The chemical name of the active ingredient is potassium chloride, and the structural formula is KCI. Potassium chloride, USP occurs as a white, granular powder or as colorless crystals. It is odorless and has a saline taste. Its solutions are neutral to litmus. It is freely soluble in water and insoluble in alcohol. Potassium Chloride is a tablet formulation (not enteric coated or wax matrix) containing individually microencapsulated potassium chloride crystals which disperse upon tablet disintegration. In simulated gastric fluid at 37°C and in the absence of outside agitation, Potassium Chloride Tablets begin disintegrating into microencapsulated crystals within seconds and completely disintegrate within 1 minute. The microencapsulated crystals are formulated to provide an extended release of potassium chloride."

<IndicationAndUsage>Vancomycin hydrochloride for oral solution is indicated for the treatment of Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea in adults and pediatric patients less than 18 years of age. Vancomycin hydrochloride for oral solution is also indicated for the treatment of enterocolitis caused by Staphylococcus aureus (including methicillin-resistant strains) in adults and pediatric patients less than 18 years of age. Important Limitations of Use Parenteral administration of vancomycin is not effective for the above infections; therefore, vancomycin must be given orally for these infections. Orally administered vancomycin hydrochloride is not effective for treatment of other types of infections. To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of vancomycin hydrochloride for oral solution and other antibacterial drugs, vancomycin hydrochloride for oral solution should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria. When culture and susceptibility information are available, they should be considered in selecting or modifying antibacterial therapy. In the absence of such data, local epidemiology and susceptibility patterns may contribute to the empiric selection of therapy.</IndicationAndUsage>

<IndicationAndUsage>MYOBLOC is an acetylcholine release inhibitor indicated for: 1 Treatment of cervical dystonia to reduce the severity of abnormal head position and neck pain associated with cervical dystonia in adults ( 1.1) , 2 Treatment of chronic sialorrhea in adults ( 1.2) .</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>RimabotulinumtoxinB is an acetylcholine release inhibitor. The specific activity of MYOBLOC ranges between 70 to 130 Units/ng.</Description>

<IndicationAndUsage>Venlafaxine Extended Release Tablets are a selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) indicated for: : 1 Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) (1.1) , 2 Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD) (1.2).</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>Venlafaxine Extended Release Tablets (venlafaxine hydrochloride) are extended-release tablets for oral administration that contain venlafaxine hydrochloride, a structurally novel antidepressant. Inactive ingredients consist of black iron oxide, cellulose acetate, colloidal silicon dioxide, hypromellose, lactose, magnesium stearate, mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, povidone, propylene glycol, titanium dioxide, and triacetin.</Description>

<IndicationAndUsage>Hyoscyamine sulfate is effective as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of peptic ulcer. It can also be used to control gastric secretion, visceral spasm and hypermotility in spastic colitis, spastic bladder, cystitis, pylorospasm, and associated abdominal cramps. May be used in functional intestinal disorders to reduce symptoms such as those seen in mild dysenteries, diverticulitis, and acute enterocolitis. For use as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (irritable colon, spastic colon, mucous colitis) and functional gastrointestinal disorders. Also used as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of neurogenic bladder and neurogenic bowel disturbances (including the splenic flexure syndrome and neurogenic colon). Also used in the treatment of infant colic (elixir and drops). Hyoscyamine sulfate is indicated along with morphine or other narcotics in symptomatic relief of biliary and renal colic; as a “drying agent” in the relief of symptoms of acute rhinitis; in the therapy of parkinsonism to reduce rigidity and tremors and to control associated sialorrhea and hyperhidrosis. May be used in the therapy of poisoning by anticholinesterase agents.</IndicationAndUsage>

If hypokalemia is the result of diuretic therapy, consideration should be given to the use of a lower dose of diuretic, which may be sufficient without leading to hypokalemia., 2 For the prevention of hypokalemia in patients who would be at particular risk if hypokalemia were to develop, eg, digitalized patients or patients with significant cardiac arrhythmias.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>The Potassium Chloride Extended-release Tablets, USP 20 mEq product is an immediately dispersing extended-release oral dosage form of potassium chloride containing 1500 mg of microencapsulated potassium chloride, USP equivalent to 20 mEq of potassium in a tablet. The microencapsulated crystals are formulated to provide an extended release of potassium chloride.</Description>
