"IndicationAndUsage": "Haloperidol decanoate injection, 50 mg (base)/mL and haloperidol decanoate injection, 100 mg (base)/mL are indicated for the treatment of patients with schizophrenia who require prolonged parenteral antipsychotic therapy.",
"Description": "Haloperidol decanoate, USP is the decanoate ester of the butyrophenone, haloperidol, USP. It has a markedly extended duration of effect. It is available in sesame oil in sterile form for intramuscular (IM) injection. The structural formula of haloperidol decanoate, USP, 4-(4-chlorophenyl)-1-[4-(4-fluorophenyl)-4-oxobutyl]-4 piperidinyl decanoate, is. Haloperidol decanoate, USP is almost insoluble in water (0.01 mg/mL), but is soluble in most organic solvents. Each mL of haloperidol decanoate 50 mg (base)/mL for IM injection contains 50 mg haloperidol (present as haloperidol decanoate 70.52 mg) in a sesame oil vehicle, with 1.2% (w/v) benzyl alcohol as a preservative. Each mL of haloperidol decanoate 100 mg (base)/mL for IM injection contains 100 mg haloperidol (present as haloperidol decanoate 141.04 mg) in a sesame oil vehicle, with 1.2% (w/v) benzyl alcohol as a preservative."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Imatinib mesylate is a kinase inhibitor indicated for the treatment of: 1 Newly diagnosed adult and pediatric patients with Philadelphia chromosome positive chronic myeloid leukemia (Ph+ CML) in chronic phase. ( 1.1) , 2 Patients with Philadelphia chromosome positive chronic myeloid leukemia (Ph+ CML) in blast crisis (BC), accelerated phase (AP), or in chronic phase (CP) after failure of interferon-alpha therapy. ( 1.2) , 3 Adult patients with relapsed or refractory Philadelphia chromosome positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia (Ph+ ALL). ( 1.3) , 4 Pediatric patients with newly diagnosed Philadelphia chromosome positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia (Ph+ ALL) in combination with chemotherapy. (1.4), 5 Adult patients with myelodysplastic/myeloproliferative diseases (MDS/MPD) associated with platelet-derived growth factor receptor (PDGFR) gene re-arrangements. ( 1.5) , 6 Adult patients with aggressive systemic mastocytosis (ASM) without the D816V c-Kit mutation or with c-Kit mutational status unknown. ( 1.6) , 7 Adult patients with hypereosinophilic syndrome (HES) and/or chronic eosinophilic leukemia (CEL) who have the FIP1L1-PDGFRα fusion kinase (mutational analysis or fluorescence in situ hybridization [FISH] demonstration of CHIC2 allele deletion) and for patients with HES and/or CEL who are FIP1L1‑-PDGFRα fusion kinase negative or unknown. ( 1.7) , 8 Adult patients with unresectable, recurrent and/or metastatic dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP). ( 1.8) , 9 Patients with Kit (CD117) positive unresectable and/or metastatic malignant gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST). "Description": "Imatinib is a small molecule kinase inhibitor. Imatinib mesylate film-coated tablets are supplied as 100 mg and 400 mg tablets for oral administration. Each 100 mg tablet contains 119.45 mg of imatinib mesylate equivalent to 100 mg of imatinib free base. Each 400 mg tablet contains 477.8 mg of imatinib mesylate equivalent to 400 mg of imatinib free base Imatinib mesylate is designated chemically as 4-[(4-Methyl-‑1-piperazinyl)methyl]-N-[4-methyl-3-[[4-(3-pyridinyl)-2-pyrimidinyl]amino]-phenyl]benzamide methanesulfonate and its structural formula is:. Imatinib mesylate is an off-white to creamish yellow crystalline powder. Its molecular formula is C 29H 31N 7O CH 4SO 3and its molecular weight is 589.7 g/mol. Imatinib mesylate is soluble in aqueous buffers less than or equal to pH 5.5 but is very slightly soluble to insoluble in neutral/alkaline aqueous buffers. In non-aqueous solvents, the drug substance is freely soluble to very slightly soluble in dimethyl sulfoxide, methanol, and ethanol, but is insoluble in n-octanol, acetone, and acetonitrile. Inactive Ingredients: silicified microcrystalline cellulose, mannitol, copovidone, crospovidone, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, iron oxide yellow, polyethylene glycol, titanium dioxide, FD&C yellow # 6 aluminum lake and iron oxide red."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Pralatrexate injection is indicated for the treatment of patients with relapsed or refractory peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL). This indication is approved under accelerated approval based on overall response rate [see Clinical Studies (14)]. Continued approval for this indication may be contingent upon verification and description of clinical benefit in a confirmatory trial(s).",
"Description": "Pralatrexate is a dihydrofolate reductase inhibitor. Pralatrexate has the chemical name (2S)-2-[[4-[(1RS)-1-[(2, 4-diaminopteridin-6-yl)methyl]but-3- ynyl]benzoyl]amino]pentanedioic acid. The molecular formula is C23H23N7O5 and the molecular weight is 477.48 g/mol. Pralatrexate is a 1:1 racemic mixture of S- and R- diastereomers at the C10 position (indicated with *). The structural formula is as follows. Pralatrexate is an off-white to yellow hygroscopic powder. The pH is 4.45 (in 1% aqueous suspension). Pralatrexate is soluble in dimethyl sulfoxide and sparingly soluble in dimethyl formamide. The pKa values are 3.25, 4.70, and 6. Pralatrexate injection is supplied as a preservative-free, sterile, isotonic, non-pyrogenic clear yellow aqueous solution contained in a clear glass single-dose vial (Type I) for intravenous use. Each 1 mL of solution contains 20 mg of pralatrexate, 6.4 mg of sodium chloride to achieve an isotonic (280-300 mOsm) solution, and sufficient sodium hydroxide, and hydrochloric acid if needed, to adjust and maintain the pH at 7.5-8.5. Pralatrexate injection is supplied as either 20 mg (1 mL) or 40 mg (2 mL) single-dose vials at a concentration of 20 mg/mL."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Pralatrexate injection is indicated for the treatment of patients with relapsed or refractory peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL). This indication is approved under accelerated approval based on overall response rate [see Clinical Studies (14)]. Continued approval for this indication may be contingent upon verification and description of clinical benefit in a confirmatory trial(s).",
"Description": "Pralatrexate is a dihydrofolate reductase inhibitor. Pralatrexate has the chemical name (2S)-2-[[4-[(1RS)-1-[(2, 4-diaminopteridin-6-yl)methyl]but-3- ynyl]benzoyl]amino]pentanedioic acid. The molecular formula is C23H23N7O5 and the molecular weight is 477.48 g/mol. Pralatrexate is a 1:1 racemic mixture of S- and R- diastereomers at the C10 position (indicated with *). The structural formula is as follows. Pralatrexate is an off-white to yellow hygroscopic powder. The pH is 4.45 (in 1% aqueous suspension). Pralatrexate is soluble in dimethyl sulfoxide and sparingly soluble in dimethyl formamide. The pKa values are 3.25, 4.70, and 6. Pralatrexate injection is supplied as a preservative-free, sterile, isotonic, non-pyrogenic clear yellow aqueous solution contained in a clear glass single-dose vial (Type I) for intravenous use. Each 1 mL of solution contains 20 mg of pralatrexate, 6.4 mg of sodium chloride to achieve an isotonic (280-300 mOsm) solution, and sufficient sodium hydroxide, and hydrochloric acid if needed, to adjust and maintain the pH at 7.5-8.5. Pralatrexate injection is supplied as either 20 mg (1 mL) or 40 mg (2 mL) single-dose vials at a concentration of 20 mg/mL."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Butorphanol tartrate nasal spray is indicated for the management of pain severe enough to require an opioid analgesic and for which alternative treatments are inadequate. Limitations of Use: : 1 Because of the risks of addiction, abuse, misuse, overdose, and death, which can occur at any dosage or duration, and persist over the course of therapy [see WARNINGS], reserve opioid analgesics, including butorphanol tartrate, for use in patients for whom alternative treatment options are ineffective, not tolerated, or would be otherwise inadequate to provide sufficient management of pain.",
"Description": "Butorphanol tartrate is a synthetically derived opioid agonist-antagonist analgesic of the phenanthrene series. The chemical name is (-)-17-(cyclobutylmethyl)morphinan-3,14-diol[S-(R*,R*)]-2,3-dihydroxybutanedioate (1:1) (salt). The molecular formula is C21H29NO2C4H6O6, which corresponds to a molecular weight of 477.55 g/mol and the following structural formula. Butorphanol tartrate is a white crystalline substance. The dose is expressed as the tartrate salt. One milligram of the salt is equivalent to 0.68 mg of the free base. The n-octanol/aqueous buffer partition coefficient of butorphanol is 180:1 at pH 7.5. Butorphanol tartrate nasal spray, USP is an aqueous solution of butorphanol tartrate for administration as a metered spray to the nasal mucosa. Each bottle of butorphanol tartrate nasal spray, USP contains 2.5 mL of a 10 mg/mL solution of butorphanol tartrate with sodium chloride, citric acid, and benzethonium chloride in purified water with sodium hydroxide and/or hydrochloric acid added to adjust the pH to 5. The pump reservoir must be fully primed [see PATIENT INSTRUCTIONS] prior to initial use. After initial priming each metered spray delivers an average of 1 mg of butorphanol tartrate and the 2.5 mL bottle will deliver an average of 14 to 15 doses of butorphanol tartrate nasal spray, USP. If not used for 48 hours or longer, the unit must be reprimed [see PATIENT INSTRUCTIONS]. With intermittent use requiring repriming before each dose, the 2.5 mL bottle will deliver an average of 8 to 10 doses of butorphanol tartrate nasal spray, USP depending on how much repriming is necessary."

"Description": "AUSTEDO XR extended-release tablets and AUSTEDO tablets are formulated with deutetrabenazine, a vesicular monoamine transporter 2 (VMAT2) inhibitor for oral administration. The molecular weight of deutetrabenazine is 323.46; the pKa is 6.31. Deutetrabenazine is a hexahydro-dimethoxybenzoquinolizine derivative and has the following chemical name: (RR, SS)-1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 11b-hexahydro-9, 10-di(methoxy-d3)-3-(2-methylpropyl)-2H-benzo[a]quinolizin-2-one. The molecular formula for deutetrabenazine is C19H21D6NO3. Deutetrabenazine is a racemic mixture containing the following structures. Deutetrabenazine is a white to slightly yellow crystalline powder that is sparingly soluble in water and soluble in ethanol.AUSTEDO XR. AUSTEDO XR extended-release tablets contain 6 mg, 12 mg, 18 mg, 24 mg, 30 mg, 36 mg, 42 mg, or 48 mg deutetrabenazine, and the following inactive ingredients: ammonium hydroxide, black iron oxide, butyl alcohol, butylated hydroxyanisole, butylated hydroxytoluene, cellulose acetate, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose, isopropyl alcohol, magnesium stearate, polyethylene glycol, polyethylene glycol 3350, polyethylene oxide, polyvinyl alcohol, propylene glycol, shellac, sodium chloride, talc, titanium dioxide, and FD&C red #40 lake. The 6 mg, 12 mg, 18 mg, 30 mg, 36 mg, and 42 mg extended-release tablets also contain FD&C yellow #6 lake. The 6 mg, 12 mg, 24 mg, and 36 mg extended-release tablets also contain FD&C blue #2 lake. The 18 mg extended-release tablets also contain carmine.AUSTEDO XR Delivery System Components and Performance AUSTEDO XR uses osmotic pressure to deliver deutetrabenazine at a controlled rate. The delivery system, which resembles a round tablet in appearance, consists of a bilayer core tablet that contains deutetrabenazine along with other excipients. The biologically inert components of the tablet remain intact during gastrointestinal transit and are eliminated in the stool. AUSTEDO. AUSTEDO tablets contain 6 mg, 9 mg, or 12 mg deutetrabenazine, and the following inactive ingredients: ammonium hydroxide, black iron oxide, butyl alcohol, butylated hydroxyanisole, butylated hydroxytoluene, magnesium stearate, mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polyethylene oxide, polysorbate 80, polyvinyl alcohol, povidone, propylene glycol, shellac, talc, titanium dioxide, and FD&C blue #2 lake. AUSTEDO XR extended-release tablets contain 6 mg, 12 mg, 18 mg, 24 mg, 30 mg, 36 mg, 42 mg, or 48 mg deutetrabenazine, and the following inactive ingredients: ammonium hydroxide, black iron oxide, butyl alcohol, butylated hydroxyanisole, butylated hydroxytoluene, cellulose acetate, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose, isopropyl alcohol, magnesium stearate, polyethylene glycol, polyethylene glycol 3350, polyethylene oxide, polyvinyl alcohol, propylene glycol, shellac, sodium chloride, talc, titanium dioxide, and FD&C red #40 lake. The 6 mg, 12 mg, 18 mg, 30 mg, 36 mg, and 42 mg extended-release tablets also contain FD&C yellow #6 lake. The 6 mg, 12 mg, 24 mg, and 36 mg extended-release tablets also contain FD&C blue #2 lake. The 18 mg extended-release tablets also contain carmine.AUSTEDO XR Delivery System Components and Performance AUSTEDO XR uses osmotic pressure to deliver deutetrabenazine at a controlled rate. The delivery system, which resembles a round tablet in appearance, consists of a bilayer core tablet that contains deutetrabenazine along with other excipients. The biologically inert components of the tablet remain intact during gastrointestinal transit and are eliminated in the stool. AUSTEDO. "IndicationAndUsage": "Butorphanol tartrate nasal spray is indicated for the management of pain severe enough to require an opioid analgesic and for which alternative treatments are inadequate. Limitations of Use :Because of the risks of addiction, abuse, and misuse, with opioids, which can occur at any dosage or duration [see WARNINGS] reserve butorphanol tartrate nasal spray for use in patients for whom alternative treatment options (e.g., non-opioid analgesics): 1 Have not been tolerated, or are not expected to be tolerated,, 2 Have not provided adequate analgesia, or are not expected to provide adequate analgesia.",
"Description": "Butorphanol tartrate is a synthetically derived opioid agonist-antagonist analgesic of the phenanthrene series. The chemical name is (-)-17-(cyclobutylmethyl)morphinan-3,14-diol[S-(R*,R*)]-2,3-dihydroxybutanedioate (1:1) (salt). The molecular formula is C21H29NO2C4H6O6, which corresponds to a molecular weight of 477.55 g/mol and the following structural formula. Butorphanol tartrate is a white crystalline substance. The dose is expressed as the tartrate salt. One milligram of the salt is equivalent to 0.68 mg of the free base. The n-octanol/aqueous buffer partition coefficient of butorphanol is 180:1 at pH 7.5. Butorphanol tartrate nasal spray, USP is an aqueous solution of butorphanol tartrate for administration as a metered spray to the nasal mucosa. Each bottle of butorphanol tartrate nasal spray, USP contains 2.5 mL of a 10 mg/mL solution of butorphanol tartrate with sodium chloride, citric acid, and benzethonium chloride in purified water with sodium hydroxide and/or hydrochloric acid added to adjust the pH to 5.0. The pump reservoir must be fully primed [see PATIENT INSTRUCTIONS] prior to initial use. After initial priming each metered spray delivers an average of 1.0 mg of butorphanol tartrate and the 2.5 mL bottle will deliver an average of 14 to 15 doses of butorphanol tartrate nasal spray, USP. If not used for 48 hours or longer, the unit must be reprimed [see PATIENT INSTRUCTIONS]. With intermittent use requiring repriming before each dose, the 2.5 mL bottle will deliver an average of 8 to 10 doses of butorphanol tartrate nasal spray, USP depending on how much repriming is necessary."

The structural formula is as follows. Pralatrexate is an off-white to yellow solid. It is soluble in aqueous solutions at pH 6.5 or higher. Pralatrexate is practically insoluble in chloroform and ethanol. The pKa values are 3.25, 4.76, and 6.17. FOLOTYN (pralatrexate) is supplied as a preservative-free, sterile, isotonic, non-pyrogenic clear yellow aqueous solution contained in a clear glass single-dose vial (Type I) for intravenous use. "IndicationAndUsage": "Methylprednisolone Tablets are indicated in the following conditions. 1.Endocrine Disorders. Primary or secondary adrenocortical insufficiency (hydrocortisone or cortisone is the first choice; synthetic analogs may be used in conjunction with mineralocorticoids where applicable; in infancy mineralocorticoid supplementation is of particular importance). Congenital adrenal hyperplasia. Nonsuppurative thyroiditis. Hypercalcemia associated with cancer. 2.Rheumatic Disorders. As adjunctive therapy for short-term administration (to tide the patient over an acute episode or exacerbation) in. Rheumatoid arthritis, including juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (selected cases may require low-dose maintenance therapy). Ankylosing spondylitis. Acute and subacute bursitis. Methylprednisolone occurs as a white to practically white, odorless, crystalline powder. It is sparingly soluble in alcohol, in dioxane, and in methanol, slightly soluble in acetone, and in chloroform, and very slightly soluble in ether. It is practically insoluble in water. The chemical name for methylprednisolone is pregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione, 11, 17, 21-trihydroxy-6- methyl-,(6α,11β)- and the molecular weight is 374.48. The structural formula is represented below. C 22H 30O 5. Methylprednisolone Tablets, USP for oral administration, are available as scored tablets in the following strength: 4 mg, 8 mg, 16 mg, and 32 mg. In addition each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, lactose anhydrous (4 mg and 8 mg), lactose monohydrate (16 mg and 32 mg), magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium starch glycolate."

The chemical name for methylprednisolone is pregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione, 11, 17, 21-trihydroxy-6- methyl-,(6α,11β)- and the molecular weight is 374.48. The structural formula is represented below. C 22H 30O 5. Methylprednisolone Tablets, USP for oral administration, are available as scored tablets in the following strength: 4 mg, 8 mg, 16 mg, and 32 mg. "Description": "Methylprednisolone tablets contain methylprednisolone which is a glucocorticoid. Glucocorticoids are adrenocortical steroids, both naturally occurring and synthetic, which are readily absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. Methylprednisolone, USP occurs as a white to practically white, odorless, crystalline powder. It melts at about 240°C, with some decomposition. It is practically insoluble in water, sparingly soluble in ethanol (96 %), in dioxane, in methanol and slightly soluble in acetone, in methylene chloride and in chloroform, very slightly soluble in ether. The chemical name for methylprednisolone is pregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione, 11, 17, 21-trihydroxy-6-methyl-,(6α,11β)- and the molecular weight is 374.48. The structural formula is represented below. C 22H 30O 5. Each methylprednisolone tablet USP, contains 4 mg of methylprednisolone. In addition each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, and sodium starch glycolate. ACTIONS. Naturally occurring glucocorticoids (hydrocortisone and cortisone), which also have salt-retaining properties, are used as replacement therapy in adrenocortical deficiency states. Their synthetic analogs are primarily used for their potent anti-inflammatory effects in disorders of many organ systems. Glucocorticoids cause profound and varied metabolic effects. In addition, they modify the body's immune responses to diverse stimuli."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Butorphanol Tartrate Nasal Spray is indicated for the management of pain severe enough to require an opioid analgesic and for which alternative treatments are inadequate. Limitations of Use. Because of the risks of addiction, abuse, misuse, overdose, and death, which can occur at any dosage or duration and persist over the course of therapy [see WARNINGS], reserve opioid analgesics, including Butorphanol Tartrate Nasal Spray, for use in patients for whom alternative treatment options are ineffective, not tolerated, or would be otherwise inadequate to provide sufficient management of pain.",

"Description": "FABHALTA contains iptacopan, a complement Factor B inhibitor. The molecular weight of iptacopan hydrochloride monohydrate is approximately 477 g/mol. The chemical name is (2S,4S)-2-(4-Carboxyphenyl)-4-ethoxy-1-[(5-methoxy-7-methyl-1H-indol-4-yl)methyl]piperidin-1-ium chloride―water (1/1). The molecular formula is C25H30N2O4·HCl H2O. The structure is shown below. Iptacopan hydrochloride monohydrate is a white or almost white to pale purplish-pink powder. FABHALTA is supplied as hard gelatin capsules for oral administration. The capsules are packaged in high-density polyethylene (HDPE) bottles with induction seals and child resistant caps. Each FABHALTA capsule contains 200 mg iptacopan (provided as 225.8 mg iptacopan hydrochloride monohydrate) and the capsule shell contains the following inactive ingredients: gelatin, red ferric oxide, titanium dioxide, yellow ferric oxide. The black printing ink contains ferrosoferric oxide, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, shellac, and strong ammonia solution."

The molecular formula is C21H29NO2,C4H6O6, which corresponds to a molecular weight of 477.55 and the following structural formula. Butorphanol tartrate is a white crystalline substance. The dose is expressed as the tartrate salt. One milligram of the salt is equivalent to 0.68 mg of the free base. The n-octanol/aqueous buffer partition coefficient of butorphanol is 180:1 at pH 7.5. Butorphanol Tartrate Injection, USP is a sterile, nonpyrogenic, parenteral, aqueous solution of butorphanol tartrate for intravenous or intramuscular administration. Each milliliter (mL) of solution contains, butorphanol tartrate 1 or 2 mg, 3.3 mg of citric acid, 6.4 mg sodium citrate, and 6.4 mg sodium chloride, and 0.1 mg benzethonium chloride (in multiple dose vial only) as a preservative."
