"IndicationAndUsage": "HCG HAS NOT BEEN DEMONSTRATED TO BE EFFECTIVE ADJUNCTIVE THERAPY IN THE TREATMENT OF OBESITY. THERE IS NO SUBSTANTIAL EVIDENCE THAT IT INCREASES WEIGHT LOSS BEYOND THAT RESULTING FROM CALORIC RESTRICTION, THAT IT CAUSES A MORE ATTRACTIVE OR ‘‘NORMAL’’ DISTRIBUTION OF FAT, OR THAT IT DECREASES THE HUNGER AND DISCOMFORT ASSOCIATED WITH CALORIE-RESTRICTED DIETS. : 1 Prepubertal cryptorchidism not due to anatomical obstruction. In general, HCG is thought to induce testicular descent in situations when descent would have occurred at puberty. HCG thus may help predict whether or not orchiopexy will be needed in the future. Although, in some cases, descent following HCG administration is permanent, in most cases, the response is temporary. Therapy is usually instituted between the ages four and nine., 2 Selected cases of hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (hypogonadism secondary to a pituitary deficiency) in males., 3 Induction of ovulation and pregnancy in the anovulatory, infertile woman in whom the cause of anovulation is secondary and not due to primary ovarian failure, and who has been appropriately pretreated with human menotropins.",
"Description": "Human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG), a polypeptide hormone produced by the human placenta, is composed of an alpha and a beta sub-unit. The alpha sub-unit is essentially identical to the alpha sub-units of the human pituitary gonadotropins, luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), as well as to the alpha sub-unit of human thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH). The beta sub-units of these hormones differ in amino acid sequence. Chorionic gonadotropin is obtained from the human pregnancy urine. It is standardized by a biological assay procedure. Chorionic Gonadotropin for Injection, USP is available in multiple dose vials containing 10,000 USP units with accompanying Bacteriostatic Water for Injection for reconstitution. When reconstituted with 10 mL of the accompanying diluent each vial contains. Chorionic gonadotropin 10,000 units. mannitol 100 mg. benzyl alcohol 0.9%. water for injection q.s. Buffered with dibasic sodium phosphate and monobasic sodium phosphate. Hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide may have been used for pH adjustment (6.0-8.0). Nitrogen gas is used in the freeze drying process."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Preservative-free morphine sulfate injection is indicated for: 1 the management of pain severe enough to require use of an opioid analgesic by intravenous administration, and for which alternative treatments are not expected to be adequate., 2 the epidural or intrathecal management of pain without attendant loss of motor, sensory, or sympathetic function.",
"Description": "Preservative-free morphine sulfate injection (morphine sulfate injection) is an opioid agonist, available as a sterile, nonpyrogenic isobaric solution of morphine sulfate in strengths of 0.5 mg or 1 mg morphine sulfate per mL, free of antioxidants, preservatives or other potentially neurotoxic additives, and is intended for intravenous, epidural, or intrathecal administration. Morphine is the most important alkaloid of opium and is a phenanthrene derivative. It is available as the sulfate salt, chemically identified as 7,8-Didehydro-4,5-epoxy-17-methyl-(5α,6α)-morphinan-3,6-diol sulfate (2:1) (salt), pentahydrate, with the following structural formula. Morphine sulfate USP is an odorless, white crystalline powder with a bitter taste. It has a solubility of 1 in 21 parts of water and 1 in 1000 parts of alcohol, but is practically insoluble in chloroform or ether. The octanol:water partition coefficient of morphine is 1.42 at physiologic pH and the pKa is 7.9 for the tertiary nitrogen (the majority is ionized at pH 7.4). Each mL of preservative-free morphine sulfate injection contains morphine sulfate, USP 0.5 mg (5 mg/10 mL) or 1 mg (10 mg/10 mL) and sodium chloride 9 mg in Water for Injection. The pH range is 2.5 – 6.5. Contains no preservative. Each 10 mL vial of preservative-free morphine sulfate injection is intended for SINGLE DOSE ONLY."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Benazepril hydrochloride tablets are indicated for the treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions. These benefits have been seen in controlled trials of antihypertensive drugs from a wide variety of pharmacologic classes including the class to which this drug principally belongs. Control of high blood pressure should be part of comprehensive cardiovascular risk management, including, as appropriate, lipid control, diabetes management, antithrombotic therapy, smoking cessation, exercise, and limited sodium intake. Many patients will require more than one drug to achieve blood pressure goals. For specific advice on goals and management, see published guidelines, such as those of the National High Blood Pressure Education Program’s Joint National Committee on Prevention, Detection, Evaluation, and Treatment of High Blood Pressure (JNC). Numerous antihypertensive drugs, from a variety of pharmacologic classes and with different mechanisms of action, have been shown in randomized controlled trials to reduce cardiovascular morbidity and mortality, and it can be concluded that it is blood pressure reduction, and not some other pharmacologic property of the drugs, that is largely responsible for those benefits. The largest and most consistent cardiovascular outcome benefit has been a reduction in the risk of stroke, but reductions in myocardial infarction and cardiovascular mortality also have been seen regularly. Elevated systolic or diastolic pressure causes increased cardiovascular risk, and the absolute risk increase per mmHg is greater at higher blood pressures, so that even modest reductions of severe hypertension can provide substantial benefit. Relative risk reduction from blood pressure reduction is similar across populations with varying absolute risk, so the absolute benefit is greater in patients who are at higher risk independent of their hypertension (for example, patients with diabetes or hyperlipidemia), and such patients would be expected to benefit from more aggressive treatment to a lower blood pressure goal. Some antihypertensive drugs have smaller blood pressure effects (as monotherapy) in black patients, and many antihypertensive drugs have additional approved indications and effects (e.g., on angina, heart failure, or diabetic kidney disease). These considerations may guide selection of therapy. It may be used alone or in combination with thiazide diuretics.",

<IndicationAndUsage>HCG HAS NOT BEEN DEMONSTRATED TO BE EFFECTIVE ADJUNCTIVE THERAPY IN THE TREATMENT OF OBESITY. Therapy is usually instituted between the ages four and nine., 2 Selected cases of hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (hypogonadism secondary to a pituitary deficiency) in males., 3 Induction of ovulation and pregnancy in the anovulatory, infertile woman in whom the cause of anovulation is secondary and not due to primary ovarian failure, and who has been appropriately pretreated with human menotropins.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>Human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG), a polypeptide hormone produced by the human placenta, is composed of an alpha and a beta sub-unit. Nitrogen gas is used in the freeze drying process.</Description>

<IndicationAndUsage>Preservative-free morphine sulfate injection is indicated for: 1 the management of pain severe enough to require use of an opioid analgesic by intravenous administration, and for which alternative treatments are not expected to be adequate., 2 the epidural or intrathecal management of pain without attendant loss of motor, sensory, or sympathetic function.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>Preservative-free morphine sulfate injection (morphine sulfate injection) is an opioid agonist, available as a sterile, nonpyrogenic isobaric solution of morphine sulfate in strengths of 0.5 mg or 1 mg morphine sulfate per mL, free of antioxidants, preservatives or other potentially neurotoxic additives, and is intended for intravenous, epidural, or intrathecal administration. Each 10 mL vial of preservative-free morphine sulfate injection is intended for SINGLE DOSE ONLY.</Description>

<IndicationAndUsage>Benazepril hydrochloride tablets are indicated for the treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure. It may be used alone or in combination with thiazide diuretics.</IndicationAndUsage>
