"IndicationAndUsage": "Carefully consider the potential benefits and risks of celecoxib and other treatment options before deciding to use celecoxib. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration consistent with individual patient treatment goals [see Warnings and Precautions (5)].",
"Description": "Celecoxib USP is chemically designated as 4-[5-(4-methylphenyl)-3-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl] benzenesulfonamide and is a diaryl-substituted pyrazole. The empirical formula is C17H14F3N3O2S, and the molecular weight is 381.38; the chemical structure is as follows. Celecoxib oral capsules contain either50 mg, 100 mg, 200 mg or 400 mg of celecoxib, together with inactive ingredients including: croscarmellose sodium, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, povidone, sodium lauryl sulfate, titanium dioxide and gelatin. Details of non-volatile components of the imprinting ink are given below. 50 mg capsule contains shellac, propylene glycol and red iron oxide. 100 mg capsule contains shellac, propylene glycol and FD & C Blue No. # 2 aluminum lake. 200 mg capsule contains shellac, propylene glycol and yellow iron oxide. 400 mg capsule contains shellac, propylene glycol, titanium dioxide, yellow iron oxide and FD & C Blue No. # 2 aluminum lake."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen tablets are indicated for the management of, pain severe enough to require an opioid analgesic and for which alternative treatments are inadequate.Limitations of UseBecause of the risks of addiction, abuse, and misuse, with opioids, even at recommended doses [see WARNINGS], reserve hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen tablets for use in patients for whom alternative treatment options [e.g., non-opioid analgesics].",
"Description": "Hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen is supplied in tablet form for oral administration.Hydrocodone bitartrate is an opioid analgesic and antitussive and occurs as fine, white crystals or as a crystalline powder. It is affected by light. The chemical name is: 4,5α-epoxy-3-methoxy-17-methylmorphinan-6-one tartrate (1:1) hydrate (2:5). It has the following structural formula:. Acetaminophen, 4’-hydroxyacetanilide, a slightly bitter, white, odorless, crystalline powder, is a non-opiate, non-salicylate analgesic and antipyretic. It has the following structural formula. Hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen tablets USP, for oral administration, are available in a variety of strengths as described in the following table.Each hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen tablet contains. In addition each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, crospovidone, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, pregelatinized starch and stearic acid.Meets USP Dissolution Test 1."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Balsalazide disodium capsules are indicated for the treatment of mildly to moderately active ulcerative colitis in patients 5 years of age and older. Limitations of Use. Safety and effectiveness of balsalazide disodium capsules beyond 8 weeks in pediatric patients 5 years to 17 years of age and 12 weeks in adults have not been established.",
"Description": "Each Balsalazide Disodium Capsule, USP contains 750 mg of balsalazide disodium, a prodrug that is enzymatically cleaved in the colon to produce mesalamine (5-aminosalicylic acid or 5-ASA), an aminosalicylate. Each capsule of balsalazide (750 mg) is equivalent to 267 mg of mesalamine. Balsalazide disodium has the chemical name (E)-5-[[4-[[(2-Carboxyethyl)amino]carbonyl] phenyl]azo]-2-hydroxybenzoic acid, disodium salt, dihydrate. Its structural formula is. Molecular Weight: 437.31. Molecular Formula: C17H13N3Na2O62H2O. Balsalazide disodium is a yellow to orange crystalline powder. It is freely soluble in water and isotonic saline and DMSO, sparingly soluble in methanol and ethanol, and practically insoluble in all other organic solvents. The inactive ingredients in Balsalazide Disodium Capsules, USP are colloidal silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate. Additionally, the capsule shell contains FD&C Blue #1, FD&C Red #40, FD&C Yellow #6, gelatin, and titanium dioxide. The black monogramming ink contains ammonium hydroxide, iron oxide black, isopropyl alcohol, n-butyl alcohol, propylene glycol, and shellac glaze. The sodium content of each capsule is approximately 79 mg."

The empirical formula of rasagiline mesylate is C12H13NCH4SO3 and its molecular weight is 267.34.Its structural formula is. Rasagiline mesylate is a white to off-white powder, freely soluble in water or ethanol and sparingly soluble in isopropanol. Each rasagiline tablets for oral administration contains 0.5mg or 1mg of rasagiline (equivalent to 0.78 mg or 1.56 mg of rasagiline mesylate).Each rasagiline tablet also contains the following inactive ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, corn starch, colloidal silicon dioxide, citric acid monohydrate, pregelatinized starch, stearic acid and talc."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Pirfenidone tablets are indicated for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF).",
"Description": "Pirfenidone belongs to the chemical class of pyridone. Pirfenidone is available as film-coated tablets containing 267 mg (yellow) and 801 mg (brown) pirfenidone. Pirfenidone has a molecular formula of C 12H 11NO and a molecular weight of 185.23. Pirfenidone has the following structural formula, which has been referred to as 5-methyl-1-phenyl-2-1(H)-pyridone or 5-methyl-1-phenyl-2-(1H)-pyridone. Pirfenidone is a white to pale yellow, non-hygroscopic powder. It is more soluble in methanol, ethyl alcohol, acetone and chloroform than in water and 1.0 N HCl. The melting point is approximately 109°C. Pirfenidone tablets contain pirfenidone and the following inactive ingredients: copovidone, croscarmellose sodium, lactose monohydrate, macrogol (polyethylene glycol), magnesium stearate, polyvinyl alcohol, iron oxide yellow (267 mg), iron oxide black (801 mg), iron oxide red (801 mg), talc and titanium dioxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Pirfenidone tablets are indicated for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF).",
"Description": "Pirfenidone belongs to the chemical class of pyridone. Pirfenidone is available as film-coated tablets containing 267 mg (yellow) and 801 mg (brown) pirfenidone. Pirfenidone has a molecular formula of C 12H 11NO and a molecular weight of 185.23. Pirfenidone has the following structural formula, which has been referred to as 5-methyl-1-phenyl-2-1(H)-pyridone or 5-methyl-1-phenyl-2-(1H)-pyridone. Pirfenidone is a white to pale yellow, non-hygroscopic powder. It is more soluble in methanol, ethyl alcohol, acetone and chloroform than in water and 1.0 N HCl. The melting point is approximately 109°C. Pirfenidone tablets contain pirfenidone and the following inactive ingredients: copovidone, croscarmellose sodium, lactose monohydrate, macrogol (polyethylene glycol), magnesium stearate, polyvinyl alcohol, iron oxide yellow (267 mg), iron oxide black (801 mg), iron oxide red (801 mg), talc and titanium dioxide."

"Description": "Zidovudine (formerly called azidothymidine [AZT]), a pyrimidine nucleoside analogue active against HIV-1. The chemical name of zidovudine is 3'- azido-3'-deoxythymidine; it has the following structural formula. Zidovudine USP is a white to beige, odorless, crystalline solid with a molecular weight of 267.24 and a solubility of 20.1 mg per mL in water at 25°C. The molecular formula is C 10H 13N 5O 4. Zidovudine tablets, USP are for oral administration. Each film-coated tablet contains 300 mg of zidovudine USP and the inactive ingredients microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate, magnesium stearate and opadry white. (hypromellose, polyethylene glycol, and titanium dioxide)."

"Description": "Tadalafil USP is a selective inhibitor of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP)-specific phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5). Tadalafil USP has the molecular formula C22H19N3O4 representing a molecular weight of 389.41. The structural formula is. The chemical designation is pyrazino[1′,2′:1,6]pyrido[3,4-b]indole-1,4-dione, 6-(1,3-benzodioxol-5-yl)2,3,6,7,12,12a-hexahydro-2-methyl-, (6R,12aR)-. It is a crystalline solid that is practically insoluble in water and very slightly soluble in ethanol. Tadalafil tablets, USP is available as almond-shaped tablets for oral administration. Each tablet contains 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, or 20 mg of tadalafil USP and the following inactive ingredients: croscarmellose sodium, colloidal silicon dioxide, povidone, hypromellose, iron oxide yellow, lactose monohydrate, sodium citrate dihydrate, sodium stearyl fumarate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium lauryl sulfate, talc, titanium dioxide, and triacetin."

"IndicationAndUsage": "1) Cholestyramine for Oral Suspension, USP powder is indicated as adjunctive therapy to diet for the reduction of elevated serum cholesterol in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia (elevated low density lipoprotein [LDL] cholesterol) who do not respond adequately to diet. Cholestyramine for Oral Suspension, USP powder may be useful to lower LDL cholesterol in patients who also have hypertriglyceridemia, but it is not indicated where hypertriglyceridemia is the abnormality of most concern. Therapy with lipid-altering agents should be a component of multiple risk factor intervention in those individuals at significantly increased risk for atherosclerotic vascular disease due to hypercholesterolemia. Treatment should begin and continue with dietary therapy specific for the type of hyperlipoproteinemia determined prior to initiation of drug therapy. Excess body weight may be an important factor and caloric restriction for weight normalization should be addressed prior to drug therapy in the overweight. Prior to initiating therapy with cholestyramine resin, secondary causes of hypercholesterolemia (e.g., poorly controlled diabetes mellitus, hypothyroidism, nephrotic syndrome, dysproteinemias, obstructive liver disease, other drug therapy, alcoholism), should be excluded and a lipid profile performed to assess Total cholesterol, HDL-C and triglycerides (TG). For individuals with TG less than 400 mg/dL (<4.5 mmol/L), LDL-C can be estimated using the following equation. LDL-C = Total cholesterol - [(TG/5) + HDL-C]. For TG levels > 400 mg/dL, this equation is less accurate and LDL-C concentrations should be determined by ultracentrifugation. In hypertriglyceridemic patients, LDL-C may be low or normal despite elevated Total-C. In such cases cholestyramine resin may not be indicated. Serum cholesterol and triglyceride levels should be determined periodically based on NCEP guidelines to confirm initial and adequate long-term response. A favorable trend in cholesterol reduction should occur during the first month of cholestyramine resin therapy. The therapy should be continued to sustain cholesterol reduction. If adequate cholesterol reduction is not attained, increasing the dosage of cholestyramine resin or adding other lipid-lowering agents in combination with cholestyramine resin should be considered. Since the goal of treatment is to lower LDL-C, the NCEP4 recommends that LDL-C levels be used to initiate and assess treatment response. If LDL-C levels are not available then Total-C alone may be used to monitor long-term therapy. A lipoprotein analysis (including LDL-C determination) should be carried out once a year. The NCEP treatment guidelines are summarized below. *Coronary heart disease or peripheral vascular disease (including symptomatic carotid artery disease). : 1 †Other risk factors for coronary heart disease (CHD) include: age (males ≥45 years; females: ≥55 years or premature menopause without estrogen replacement therapy); family history of premature CHD; current cigarette smoking; hypertension; confirmed HDL-C <35 mg/dL (<0.91 mmol/L); and diabetes mellitus. Subtract one risk factor if HDL-C is ≥60 mg/dL (≥1.6 mmol/L).",
"Description": "Cholestyramine for Oral Suspension, USP powder, the chloride salt of a basic anion exchange resin, a cholesterol lowering agent, is intended for oral administration. Cholestyramine resin is quite hydrophilic, but insoluble in water. Cholestyramine resin is not absorbed from the digestive tract. Each Nine grams of Cholestyramine for Oral Suspension, USP powder contain 4 grams of cholestyramine resin. It is represented by the following structural formula. Representation of structure of main polymeric groups. Inactive ingredients: citric acid anhydrous, fructose, mono ammonium glycyrrhizinate, pectin, propylene glycol alginate, sorbitol, sucrose, xanthan gum, natural and artificial orange flavor, D&C yellow No. 10 aluminum lake, FD&C yellow No. 6 aluminum lake."

"Description": "Cholestyramine for Oral Suspension, USP powder, the chloride salt of a basic anion exchange resin, a cholesterol lowering agent, is intended for oral administration. Cholestyramine resin is quite hydrophilic, but insoluble in water. Cholestyramine resin is not absorbed from the digestive tract. Each Nine grams of Cholestyramine for Oral Suspension, USP powder contain 4 grams of cholestyramine resin. It is represented by the following structural formula. Representation of structure of main polymeric groups. Inactive ingredients: citric acid anhydrous, fructose, mono ammonium glycyrrhizinate, pectin, propylene glycol alginate, sorbitol, sucrose, xanthan gum, natural and artificial orange flavor, D&C yellow No. 10 aluminum lake, FD&C yellow No. 6 aluminum lake."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Hydromorphone hydrochloride extended-release tablets are indicated for the management of pain in opioid-tolerant patients severe enough to require daily, around-the-clock, long-term opioid treatment and for which alternative treatment options are inadequate. Patients considered opioid tolerant are those who are receiving, for one week or longer, at least 60 mg oral morphine per day, 25 mcg transdermal fentanyl per hour, 30 mg oral oxycodone per day, 8 mg oral hydromorphone per day, 25 mg oral oxymorphone per day, 60 mg oral hydrocodone per day, or an equianalgesic dose of another opioid. Limitations of Use: 1 Because of the risks of addiction, abuse, and misuse with opioids, even at recommended doses, and because of the greater risks of overdose and death with extended-release opioid formulations, reserve hydromorphone hydrochloride extended-release tablets for use in patients for whom alternative treatment options (e.g., non-opioid analgesics or immediate-release opioids) are ineffective, not tolerated, or would be otherwise inadequate to provide sufficient management of pain., 2 Hydromorphone hydrochloride extended-release tablets is not indicated as an as-needed (prn) analgesic.",

Hydromorphone hydrochloride is a white or almost white crystalline powder that is freely soluble in water, very slightly soluble in ethanol (96%), and practically insoluble in methylene chloride. Its empirical formula is C17H19NO3HCl. The compound has the following structural formula. Hydromorphone hydrochloride extended-release tablets also contains the following inactive ingredients: Polyethylene Oxide, Povidone, butylated hydroxytoluene, Isopropyl Alcohol, Magnesium Stearate, Sodium Chloride, Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose, Ferric Oxide Yellow, Acetone, Cellulose acetate, Polyethylene glycol, hypromellose and titanium dioxide. The 8 mg, 12 mg and 16 mg also contains iron oxide yellow and polysorbate. The 32 mg also contains talc, black iron oxide and propylene glycol."

"IndicationAndUsage": "TRIZIVIR is indicated in combination with other antiretrovirals or alone for the treatment of human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV‑1) infection. Limitations of Use: 1 Limited data exist on the use of TRIZIVIR alone in patients with higher baseline viral load levels (greater than 100,000 copies per mL) [see Clinical Studies (14)].",
"Description": "TRIZIVIR tablets contain the following 3 synthetic nucleoside analogues: abacavir (ZIAGEN), lamivudine (also known as EPIVIR or 3TC), and zidovudine (also known as RETROVIR, azidothymidine, or ZDV) with inhibitory activity against HIV-1. TRIZIVIR tablets are for oral administration. Each film-coated tablet contains the active ingredients 300 mg of abacavir as abacavir sulfate, 150 mg of lamivudine, and 300 mg of zidovudine, and the inactive ingredients magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, and sodium starch glycolate. The tablets are coated with a film (OPADRY green 03B11434) that is made of FD&C Blue No. 2, hypromellose, polyethylene glycol, titanium dioxide, and yellow iron oxide. Abacavir Sulfate: The chemical name of abacavir sulfate is (1S,cis)-4-[2-amino-6-(cyclopropylamino)-9H-purin-9-yl]-2-cyclopentene-1-methanol sulfate (salt) (2:1). Abacavir sulfate is the enantiomer with 1S, 4R absolute configuration on the cyclopentene ring. It has a molecular formula of (C14H18N6O)2H2SO4 and a molecular weight of 670.76 g per mol. It has the following structural formula. Abacavir sulfate is a white to off-white solid and soluble in water. Dosages are expressed in terms of abacavir. Lamivudine: The chemical name of lamivudine is (2R,cis)-4-amino-1-(2-hydroxymethyl-1,3-oxathiolan-5-yl)-(1H)-pyrimidin-2-one. Lamivudine is the (-)enantiomer of a dideoxy analogue of cytidine. Lamivudine has also been referred to as (-)2′,3′-dideoxy, 3′-thiacytidine. It has a molecular formula of C8H11N3O3S and a molecular weight of 229.3 g per mol. It has the following structural formula. Lamivudine is a white to off-white crystalline solid and is soluble in water. Zidovudine: The chemical name of zidovudine is 3′-azido-3′-deoxythymidine. It has a molecular formula of C10H13N5O4 and a molecular weight of 267.24 g per mol. It has the following structural formula. Zidovudine is a white to beige, odorless, crystalline solid with a solubility of 20.1 mg per mL in water at 25°C."

"IndicationAndUsage": "ESBRIET is indicated for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF).",
"Description": "ESBRIET belongs to the chemical class of pyridone. ESBRIET is available as a white to off-white hard gelatin capsule containing 267 mg of pirfenidone for oral administration, or, as film-coated tablets containing 267 mg (yellow) and 801 mg (brown) pirfenidone. Pirfenidone has a molecular formula of C12H11NO and a molecular weight of 185.23. Pirfenidone has the following structural formula, which has been referred to as 5-methyl-1-phenyl-2-1(H)-pyridone or 5-methyl-1-phenyl-2-(1H)-pyridone. Pirfenidone is a white to pale yellow, non-hygroscopic powder. It is more soluble in methanol, ethyl alcohol, acetone and chloroform than in water and 1.0 N HCl. The melting point is approximately 109°C. ESBRIET capsule contains pirfenidone and the following inactive ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, povidone, and magnesium stearate. In addition, the capsule shell contains gelatin and titanium dioxide. The capsule brown printing ink includes shellac, iron oxide black, iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow, propylene glycol, ammonium hydroxide. ESBRIET tablets contain pirfenidone and the following inactive ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, colloidal anhydrous silica, povidone, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide, macrogol (polyethylene glycol), talc, and iron oxide."
