(1.10).",
"Description": "Doxycycline hyclate delayed-release tablets, USP, contain specially coated pellets of doxycycline hyclate, a tetracycline class drug synthetically derived from oxytetracycline, in a delayed-release formulation for oral administration. The structural formula for doxycycline hyclate is. with a molecular formula of C22H24N2O8, HCl, ½ C2H6O, ½ H2O and a molecular weight of 512.9. The chemical name for doxycycline hyclate is [4S(4aR,5S,5aR,6R,12aS)]-4-(dimethylamino)-1,4,4a,5,5a,6,11,12a-octahydro-3,5,10,12,12a-pentahydroxy-6-methyl-1,11-deoxonaphthacene-2-carboxamide monohydrochloride, compound with ethyl alcohol (2:1), monohydrate. Doxycycline hyclate is a yellow crystalline powder soluble in water and in solutions of alkali hydroxides and carbonates. Doxycycline has a high degree of lipid solubility and a low affinity for calcium binding. It is highly stable in normal human serum. Doxycycline will not degrade into an epianhydro form. Each tablet contains doxycycline 75 mg, 100 mg, 150 mg or 200 mg (equivalent to doxycycline hyclate 86.6 mg, 115.4 mg, 173.1 mg or 230.8 mg). Inactive ingredients in the tablet formulation are: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose; sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium chloride, hypromellose phthalate, hypromellose, triethyl citrate, anhydrous lactose, crospovidone, stearic acid, magnesium stearate. The tablets also contain opadry 03K29121 clear, which contains: hypromellose and triacetin. Each doxycycline hyclate delayed-release tablets 75 mg tablet contains 4.8 mg (0.208 mEq) of sodium, each doxycycline hyclate delayed-release tablets 100 mg tablet contains 6.4 mg (0.278 mEq) of sodium, each doxycycline hyclate delayed-release tablets 150 mg tablet contains 9.6 mg (0.417 mEq) of sodium, and each doxycycline hyclate delayed-release tablets 200 mg tablet contains 12.8 mg (0.556 mEq) of sodium. <IndicationAndUsage>Allergenic extract may be used as a diagnostic skin test reagent in persons suspected of being sensitive to the allergenic source material from which the extract is made. Skin tests should be used in conjunction with a thorough allergic history to establish the relevance of a given allergen in the etiology of allergic disease. (4,5,6) Immunotherapy with allergenic extract is indicated in persons suffering from allergic rhinitis, bronchitis, conjunctivitis, urticaria and asthma. The therapeutic efficacy of allergenic extract has been proven in ragweed, grass, and mountain cedar pollinosis, cat-induced asthma and hypersensitivity to hymenoptera venoms. (7-12). Immunotherapy may be used along with or exclusive of antihistamines and other medications used to control allergic symptoms.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>Allergenic extract contains the aqueous extractables from allergenic source material in extracting solution containing 0.25% sodium chloride, 0.125% sodium bicarbonate, and 50% glycerol. 0.4% phenol is added as a preservative. The weight by volume value shown on the label is a measurement of extract concentration, rather than extract potency. Extracts for which U.S. standards exist are labeled in allergy units, in addition to w/v strength.</Description>

<IndicationAndUsage>Varenicline tablets are indicated for use as an aid to smoking cessation treatment.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>Varenicline tablets contain varenicline (as the tartrate salt), which is a partial nicotinic agonist selective for α4β2 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor subtypes. Varenicline, as the tartrate salt, is a powder which is a white to off-white to slightly yellow solid with the following chemical name: 7,8,9,10-tetrahydro-6,10-methano-6H-pyrazino[2,3- h][3]benzazepine, (2R,3R)-2,3-dihydroxybutanedioate (1:1). It is freely soluble in water and very slightly soluble in methanol. Varenicline tartrate has a molecular weight of 361.35 Daltons, and a molecular formula of C13H13N3 C4H6O6. The chemical structure is. Varenicline tablets are supplied for oral administration in two strengths: 0.5 mg capsular, biconvex, white, film-coated tablet debossed with ‘VA’ on one side and ‘0.5’ on the other side and a 1 mg capsular, biconvex, light blue, film-coated tablet debossed with ‘VA’ on one side and ‘1’ on the other side. Each 0.5 mg varenicline tablet contains 0.85 mg of varenicline tartrate equivalent to 0.5 mg of varenicline free base; each 1 mg varenicline tablet contains 1.71 mg of varenicline tartrate equivalent to 1 mg of varenicline free base. The following inactive ingredients are included in the tablets: colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, dibasic calcium phosphate anhydrous, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, titanium dioxide.
