"IndicationAndUsage": "AUSTEDO XR® and AUSTEDO® are indicated in adults for the treatment of: 1 chorea associated with Huntington’s disease [see Clinical Studies (14.1)], 2 tardive dyskinesia [see Clinical Studies (14.2)].",
"Description": "AUSTEDO XR extended-release tablets and AUSTEDO tablets are formulated with deutetrabenazine, a vesicular monoamine transporter 2 (VMAT2) inhibitor for oral administration. The molecular weight of deutetrabenazine is 323.46; the pKa is 6.31. Deutetrabenazine is a hexahydro-dimethoxybenzoquinolizine derivative and has the following chemical name: (RR, SS)-1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 11b-hexahydro-9, 10-di(methoxy-d3)-3-(2-methylpropyl)-2H-benzo[a]quinolizin-2-one. The molecular formula for deutetrabenazine is C19H21D6NO3. Deutetrabenazine is a racemic mixture containing the following structures. Deutetrabenazine is a white to slightly yellow crystalline powder that is sparingly soluble in water and soluble in ethanol.AUSTEDO XR. AUSTEDO XR extended-release tablets contain 6 mg, 12 mg, 18 mg, 24 mg, 30 mg, 36 mg, 42 mg, or 48 mg deutetrabenazine, and the following inactive ingredients: ammonium hydroxide, black iron oxide, butyl alcohol, butylated hydroxyanisole, butylated hydroxytoluene, cellulose acetate, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose, isopropyl alcohol, magnesium stearate, polyethylene glycol, polyethylene glycol 3350, polyethylene oxide, polyvinyl alcohol, propylene glycol, shellac, sodium chloride, talc, titanium dioxide, and FD&C red #40 lake. The 6 mg, 12 mg, 18 mg, 30 mg, 36 mg, and 42 mg extended-release tablets also contain FD&C yellow #6 lake. The 6 mg, 12 mg, 24 mg, and 36 mg extended-release tablets also contain FD&C blue #2 lake. The 18 mg extended-release tablets also contain carmine.AUSTEDO XR Delivery System Components and Performance AUSTEDO XR uses osmotic pressure to deliver deutetrabenazine at a controlled rate. The delivery system, which resembles a round tablet in appearance, consists of a bilayer core tablet that contains deutetrabenazine along with other excipients. The biologically inert components of the tablet remain intact during gastrointestinal transit and are eliminated in the stool. AUSTEDO. AUSTEDO tablets contain 6 mg, 9 mg, or 12 mg deutetrabenazine, and the following inactive ingredients: ammonium hydroxide, black iron oxide, butyl alcohol, butylated hydroxyanisole, butylated hydroxytoluene, magnesium stearate, mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polyethylene oxide, polysorbate 80, polyvinyl alcohol, povidone, propylene glycol, shellac, talc, titanium dioxide, and FD&C blue #2 lake. "IndicationAndUsage": "Fingolimod capsules are indicated for the treatment of relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS), to include clinically isolated syndrome, relapsing-remitting disease, and active secondary progressive disease, in patients 10 years of age and older.",
"Description": "Fingolimod is a sphingosine 1-phosphate receptor modulator. Chemically, fingolimod is 2-amino-2-[2-(4-octylphenyl)ethyl]propan-1,3-diol hydrochloride. Its structure is shown below. Fingolimod hydrochloride is a white to practically white powder that is freely soluble in water and alcohol and soluble in propylene glycol. It has a molecular weight of 343.93 g/mol. Fingolimod capsules are provided as 0.5 mg hard gelatin capsules for oral use. Each capsule contains 0.56 mg of fingolimod hydrochloride, equivalent to 0.5 mg of fingolimod. Each fingolimod capsule 0.5 mg is supplied as an imprinted hard-shell capsule containing the following inactive ingredients: dibasic calcium phosphate, magnesium stearate. The capsule shells contain gelatin, iron oxide yellow, and titanium dioxide. The imprinting ink contains propylene glycol, shellac and in addition, the black ink contains black iron oxide, and potassium hydroxide and yellow ink contains yellow iron oxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Varenicline tablets are indicated for use as an aid to smoking cessation treatment.",
"Description": "Varenicline tablets contain varenicline (as the tartrate salt), which is a partial nicotinic agonist selective for α 4β 2nicotinic acetylcholine receptor subtypes. Varenicline, as the tartrate salt, is a powder which is an off-white to light brown powder with the following chemical name: 7,8,9,10-tetrahydro-6,10-methano-6H-pyrazino [2,3-h] [3] benzazepine, (2R,3R)-2,3-dihydroxybutanedioate (1:1). It is soluble in water. Varenicline tartrate has a molecular weight of 361.35 Daltons, and a molecular formula of C 17H 19N 3O 6. The chemical structure is:. Varenicline tablets are supplied for oral administration in two strengths: a 0.5 mg pink, capsular, biconvex, film coated tablets debossed with \"H\" on one side and \"V23\" on the other side and a 1 mg yellow, capsular, biconvex, film coated tablets debossed with \"H\" on one side and \"V24\" on the other side. Each 0.5 mg varenicline tablet contains 0.855 mg of varenicline tartrate equivalent to 0.5 mg of varenicline free base; each 1 mg varenicline tablet contains 1.71 mg of varenicline tartrate equivalent to 1 mg of varenicline free base. The following inactive ingredients are included in the tablets: anhydrous dibasic calcium phosphate, croscarmellose sodium, stearic acid. The film coating contains hypromellose, iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow, polyethylene glycol, titanium dioxide and triacetin."

"Description": "AZILECT® tablets contain rasagiline (as the mesylate), a propargylamine-based drug indicated for the treatment of idiopathic Parkinson’s disease. Rasagiline mesylate is designated chemically as: 1H-Inden-1-amine, 2, 3-dihydro-N-2-propynyl-, (1R)-, methanesulfonate. The empirical formula of rasagiline mesylate is C12H13NCH4SO3 and its molecular weight is 267.34. Its structural formula is. Rasagiline mesylate is a white to off-white powder, freely soluble in water or ethanol and sparingly soluble in isopropanol. Each AZILECT tablet for oral administration contains 0.5 mg or 1 mg of rasagiline (equivalent to 0.78 mg or 1.56 mg of rasagiline mesylate). Each AZILECT tablet also contains the following inactive ingredients: mannitol, starch, pregelatinized starch, colloidal silicon dioxide, stearic acid, and talc."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Fingolimod capsules are indicated for the treatment of relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS), to include clinically isolated syndrome, relapsing-remitting disease, and active secondary progressive disease, in patients 10 years of age and older.",
"Description": "Fingolimod is a sphingosine 1-phosphate receptor modulator. Chemically, fingolimod is 2-amino-2-[2-(4-octylphenyl)ethyl]propan-1,3-diol hydrochloride. Its structure is shown below. Fingolimod hydrochloride is a white to practically white powder that is freely soluble in water and alcohol and soluble in propylene glycol. It has a molecular weight of 343.93 g/mol. Fingolimod capsules are provided as 0.5 mg hard gelatin capsules for oral use. Each capsule contains 0.56 mg of fingolimod hydrochloride, equivalent to 0.5 mg of fingolimod. Each fingolimod capsule 0.5 mg is supplied as an imprinted hard-shell capsule containing the following inactive ingredients: dibasic calcium phosphate, magnesium stearate. The capsule shells contain gelatin, iron oxide yellow, and titanium dioxide. The imprinting ink contains propylene glycol, shellac and in addition, the black ink contains black iron oxide, and potassium hydroxide and yellow ink contains yellow iron oxide."

"Description": "Fingolimod is a sphingosine 1-phosphate receptor modulator. Chemically, fingolimod is 2-amino-2-[2-(4-octylphenyl)ethyl]propan-1,3-diol hydrochloride. Its structure is shown below. Fingolimod hydrochloride is a white to practically white powder that is freely soluble in water and alcohol and soluble in propylene glycol. It has a molecular weight of 343.93 g/mol. Fingolimod capsules are provided as 0.5 mg hard gelatin capsules for oral use. Each capsule contains 0.56 mg of fingolimod hydrochloride, equivalent to 0.5 mg of fingolimod. Deutetrabenazine is a hexahydro-dimethoxybenzoquinolizine derivative and has the following chemical name: (RR, SS)-1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 11b-hexahydro-9, 10-di(methoxy-d3)-3-(2-methylpropyl)-2H-benzo[a]quinolizin-2-one. The molecular formula for deutetrabenazine is C19H21D6NO3. Deutetrabenazine is a racemic mixture containing the following structures. Deutetrabenazine is a white to slightly yellow crystalline powder that is sparingly soluble in water and soluble in ethanol.AUSTEDO XR.
