"IndicationAndUsage": "TissueBlue 0.025% is indicated to selectively stain the internal limiting membrane (ILM).",
"Description": "TissueBlue (Brilliant Blue G Ophthalmic Solution) 0.025% is a sterile solution of BBG (a dye) for intraocular ophthalmic use. Each mL of TissueBlue 0.025% contains BBG 0.25 mg, polyethylene glycol and buffered sodium chloride solution (sodium chloride, dibasic sodium phosphate, monobasic sodium phospage, water for injection). Phosphoric acid and/or sodium hydroxide may also be used for pH adjustment. The pH range of TissueBlue 0.025% Solution is between 7.3 and 7.6. The drug substance BBG has the chemical name Brilliant Blue G, a molecular weight of 854.02 and has the following chemical structure:. Molecular formula: C 47H 48N 3NaO 7S 2."

"IndicationAndUsage": "MembraneBlue 0.15% is indicated for use as an aid in ophthalmic surgery by staining the epiretinal membranes during ophthalmic surgical vitrectomy procedures, facilitating removal of the tissue in adults and pediatric patients.",
"Description": "MembraneBlue (trypan blue ophthalmic solution) 0.15% is a sterile solution of trypan blue (an acid di-azo group dye) for intraocular ophthalmic use. MembraneBlue selectively stains epiretinal membranes during ophthalmic surgical vitrectomy procedures. Each mL of MembraneBlue 0.15% contains: 1.5 mg trypan blue; 1.9 mg sodium mono-hydrogen orthophosphate (Na 2HPO 42H 2O); 0.3 mg sodium di-hydrogen orthophosphate (NaH 2PO 42H 2O); 8.2 mg sodium chloride (NaCl); and water for injection. The pH is 7.3 - 7.6. The osmolality is 257 - 314 mOsm/kg. The drug substance trypan blue has the chemical name 3,3'-[(3,3'-dimethyl-4,4'-biphenylylene) bis (azo)] bis (5-amino-4-hydroxy-2,7-naphthalenedisulfonic acid) tetra sodium salt, a molecular weight of 960.8, a molecular formula of C 34H 24N 6Na 4O 14S 4, and has the following chemical structure:."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Methocarbamol Tablets, USP are indicated as an adjunct to rest, physical therapy, and other measures for the relief of discomfort associated with acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions. The mode of action of methocarbamol has not been clearly identified, but may be related to its sedative properties. Methocarbamol does not directly relax tense skeletal muscles in man.",
"Description": "Methocarbamol Tablets, USP, a carbamate derivative of guaifenesin, is a central nervous system (CNS) depressant with sedative and musculoskeletal relaxant properties. The chemical name of methocarbamol is 3-(2-methoxyphenoxy)-1,2-propanediol 1-carbamate and has the empirical formula C11H15NO5. Its molecular weight is 241.24. The structural formula is shown below. Methocarbamol is a white powder, sparingly soluble in water and chloroform, soluble in alcohol (only with heating) and propylene glycol, and insoluble in benzene and n-hexane. Methocarbamol Tablets, USP 500 mg are available as a white, round, scored, film-coated tablet containing 500 mg of methocarbamol, USP for oral administration. The inactive ingredients present are microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, povidone (k-30), sodium lauryl sulfate, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate 80. Methocarbamol Tablets, USP 750 mg are available as a white, capsule-shaped, film-coated tablet containing 750 mg of methocarbamol, USP for oral administration. "Description": "Rosuvastatin calcium USP is a 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A (HMG CoA)-reductase inhibitor. The chemical name for rosuvastatin calcium USP is 6-Heptenoic acid, 7-[4-(4-fluorophenyl)-6-(1-methylethyl)-2-[methyl(methylsulfonyl) amino]-5-pyrimidinyl]-3,5-dihydroxy-, calcium salt (2:1), (3R,5S,6E) with the following structural formula. The empirical formula for rosuvastatin calcium USP is (C 22H 27FN 3O 6S) 2Ca and the molecular weight is 1,001.14. Rosuvastatin calcium USP is a White or almost white, hygroscopic powder that is freely soluble in methylene chloride, slightly soluble in water practically insoluble in anhydrous ethanol. Rosuvastatin calcium is a hydrophilic compound with a partition coefficient (octanol/water) of 0.13 at pH of 7.0. Rosuvastatin tablets, USP for oral use contain rosuvastatin 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg, or 40 mg (equivalent to 5.2 mg, 10.4 mg, 20.8 mg, and 41.6 mg rosuvastatin calcium) and the following inactive ingredients: crospovidone USP, hypromellose USP, iron oxide red NF, lactose monohydrate USP, magnesium stearate USP, microcrystalline cellulose USP, sodium bicarbonate powder NF, titanium dioxide USP, triacetin USP."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Celecoxib capsules is indicated.",
"Description": "Celecoxib caspsule is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, available as capsules containing 50 mg, 100 mg, 200 mg and 400 mg celecoxib for oral administration. The chemical name is 4-[5-(4-methylphenyl)-3-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl] benzenesulfonamide and is a diaryl-substituted pyrazole. The molecular weight is 381.38. Its molecular formula is C 17H 14F 3N 3O 2S, and it has the following chemical structure:. Celecoxib is a white to off-white powder with a pKa of 11.1 (sulfonamide moiety). Celecoxib is hydrophobic (log P is 3.5) and is practically insoluble in aqueous media at physiological pH range. The inactive ingredients in celecoxib capsules include: croscarmellose sodium, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, povidone and sodium lauryl sulfate. The 50 mg, 100 mg, 200 mg and 400 mg capsule shell contains: gelatin, titanium dioxide, and edible inks. The edible ink contains the following non-volatile components: shellac; in addition, 50 mg capsule printing ink (yellow) contains yellow iron oxide and simethicone, 100 mg capsule printing ink (blue) contains titanium dioxide and FD&C blue #1 aluminum lake, 200 mg capsule printing ink (green) contains FD&C blue#1 aluminum lake and FD&C yellow#5 aluminum lake, and 400 mg capsule printing ink (red) contains red iron oxide, potassium hydroxide, and black iron oxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Diltiazem hydrochloride extended-release capsules, USP are indicated for the treatment of hypertension. It may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive medications. Diltiazem hydrochloride extended-release capsules, USP are indicated for the management of chronic stable angina and angina due to coronary artery spasm.",
"Description": "Diltiazem hydrochloride is a calcium ion cellular influx inhibitor (slow channel blocker or calcium antagonist). Chemically, diltiazem hydrochloride is 1, 5-Benzothiazepin-4(5 H)-one, 3-(acetyloxy)-5-[2-(dimethylamino)ethyl]-2, 3-dihydro-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)-, monohydrochloride,(+)- cis-. The chemical structure is:. Diltiazem hydrochloride, USP is a white, odorless crystalline powder or small crystals. It is freely soluble in chloroform, formic acid, methanol, and water. It is sparingly soluble in dehydrated alcohol and is insoluble in ether. It has a molecular weight of 450.98. Diltiazem hydrochloride is formulated as a once-a-day extended-release capsule containing 120 mg diltiazem hydrochloride, USP (equivalent to 110.3 mg diltiazem), 180 mg diltiazem hydrochloride, USP (equivalent to 165.45 mg diltiazem), 240 mg diltiazem hydrochloride, USP (equivalent to 220.6 mg diltiazem), 300 mg diltiazem hydrochloride, USP (equivalent to 275.75 mg diltiazem), or 360 mg diltiazem hydrochloride, USP (equivalent to 330.9 mg diltiazem). The 120 mg, 180 mg, 240 mg, 300 mg and 360 mg capsules also contain: acetyl tributyl citrate, ammonio methacrylate copolymer dispersion, hypromellose, sodium lauryl sulfate, sugar spheres (sucrose and corn starch), and talc. The 120 mg, 180 mg, 240 mg, 300 mg, and 360 mg capsule shells contain FD&C Blue #1, gelatin, sodium lauryl sulfate, and titanium dioxide. The 180 mg, 240 mg, 300 mg, and 360 mg capsule shells also contain iron oxide black. The 120 mg, 180 mg, 300 mg, and 360 mg capsules are imprinted with black ink which contains iron oxide black, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, and shellac. The 240 mg capsules are imprinted with white ink which contains potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, shellac, and titanium dioxide. For oral administration. Meets USP dissolution test 29."

"IndicationAndUsage": "To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of cefdinir for oral suspension and other antibacterial drugs, cefdinir for oral suspension should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria. When culture and susceptibility information are available, they should be considered in selecting or modifying antibacterial therapy. In the absence of such data, local epidemiology and susceptibility patterns may contribute to the empiric selection of therapy. Cefdinir for oral suspension is indicated for the treatment of patients with mild to moderate infections caused by susceptible strains of the designated microorganisms in the conditions listed below.",
"Description": "Cefdinir for oral suspension contain the active ingredient cefdinir, an extended-spectrum, semisynthetic cephalosporin, for oral administration. Chemically, cefdinir is [6R-[6α,7β(Z)]]-7-[[(2-amino-4-thiazolyl)(hydroxyimino)acetyl]amino]-3-ethenyl-8-oxo-5-thia-1-azabicyclo[4.2.0]oct-2-ene-2-carboxylic acid. Cefdinir is a white to slightly brownish-yellow solid. It is slightly soluble in dilute hydrochloric acid and sparingly soluble in 0.1 M pH 7.0 phosphate buffer. The molecular formula is C14H13N5O5S2 and the molecular weight is 395.42. Cefdinir has the structural formula shown below:. Cefdinir for oral suspension, after reconstitution, contains 125 mg cefdinir per 5 mL or 250 mg cefdinir per 5 mL and the following inactive ingredients: anhydrous citric acid; colloidal silicon dioxide; guar gum; anhydrous sodium citrate; sodium benzoate; strawberry flavour; sucrose; and xanthan gum."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Nateglinide tablets are indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Limitations of Use. Nateglinide tablets should not be used in patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus or for the treatment of diabetic ketoacidosis.",
"Description": "Nateglinide is an oral blood glucose-lowering drug of the glinide class. Nateglinide, (-)-N-[(trans-4- isopropylcyclohexane)carbonyl]-D-phenylalanine, is structurally unrelated to the oral sulfonylurea insulin secretagogues. The structural formula is as shown. Nateglinide, USP is a white powder with a molecular weight of 317.43 g/mol. It is freely soluble in methanol and alcohol, soluble in ether, sparingly soluble in acetonitrile and octanol, practically insoluble in water. Each nateglinide tablet, USP intended for oral administration contains nateglinide, USP 60 mg and 120 mg. In addition, each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: citric acid anhydrous, colloidal silicon dioxide, corn starch, crospovidone, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, polysorbate 80, polyethylene glycol, povidone, talc and titanium dioxide. Additionally, each 120 mg tablet contains iron oxide red and iron oxide yellow."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Theophylline extended-release tablets are indicated for the treatment of the symptoms and reversible airflow obstruction associated with chronic asthma and other chronic lung diseases, e.g., emphysema and chronic bronchitis.",
"Description": "Theophylline is structurally classified as a methylxanthine. It occurs as a white, practically odorless, crystalline powder. Theophylline Anhydrous, USP has the chemical name 1,3-dimethyl-3,7-dihydro-1H-purine-2,6-dione, and is represented by the following structural formula. C7H8N4O2 M.W. 180.17 g/mol. This product allows a 12-hour dosing interval for a majority of patients and a 24-hour dosing interval for selected patients (see DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION section for description of appropriate patient populations). Each extended-release tablet for oral administration contains either 300 mg or 450 mg of theophylline anhydrous, USP. Tablets also contain as inactive ingredients: anhydrous lactose, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate and povidone."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Escitalopram tablets are indicated for the treatment of: 1 major depressive disorder (MDD) in adults and pediatric patients 12 years of age and older., 2 generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) inadults.",
"Description": "Escitalopram tablets contain escitalopram, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), present as escitalopram oxalate salt. Escitalopram is the pure S-enantiomer (single isomer) of the racemic bicyclic phthalane derivative citalopram. Escitalopram oxalate is designated S-(+)-1-[3(dimethyl-amino)propyl]-1-( p-fluorophenyl)-5-phthalancarbonitrile oxalate with the following structural formula:. The molecular formula is C 20H 21FN 2O C 2H 2O 4and the molecular weight is 414.40. Escitalopram oxalate USP occurs as a white to almost white, crystalline powder and is freely soluble in methanol and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), soluble in isotonic saline solution, sparingly soluble in water and ethanol, slightly soluble in ethyl acetate, and insoluble in heptane. Escitalopram tablets USP, for oral use, are film-coated, containing 6.38 mg, 12.77 mg, 25.54 mg escitalopram oxalate USP in strengths equivalent to 5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg, respectively, of escitalopram base. The 10 and 20 mg tablets are scored. The tablets also contain the following inactive ingredients: butylated hydroxyl anisole, butylated hydroxy toluene, colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, silicified microcrystalline cellulose, and talc. The film coating contains hypromellose, polyethylene glycol 400, and titanium dioxide."

"Description": "READI-CAT 2 and READI-CAT 2 SMOOTHIE (barium sulfate) are radiographic contrast agents supplied as a suspension (2% w/v) for oral administration. The active ingredient barium sulfate is designated chemically as BaSO4 with a molecular weight of 233.4 g/mol, a density of 4.5 g/cm3, and the following chemical structure. READI-CAT 2 products contain excipients including: benzoic acid, citric acid, potassium sorbate, saccharin sodium, simethicone emulsion, sodium benzoate, sodium citrate, sorbitol solution, xanthan gum, and purified water. READI-CAT 2 products also contain natural and artificial flavorings including: banana, blueberry, orange, vanilla, chocolate, and coffee flavors."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Terbutaline Sulfate Tablets USP are indicated for the prevention and reversal of bronchospasm in patients 12 years of age and older with asthma and reversible bronchospasm associated with bronchitis and emphysema.",
"Description": "Terbutaline sulfate USP, the active ingredient of Terbutaline Sulfate Tablets USP, is a beta-adrenergic agonist bronchodilator available as tablets of 2.5 mg (2.05 mg of the free base) and 5 mg (4.1 mg of the free base) for oral administration. Terbutaline sulfate is ±-α-[(tert-butylamino)methyl]-3,5-dihydroxybenzyl alcohol sulfate (2:1) (salt). The empirical formula is (C12H19NO3)2 H2SO4 and the structural formula is. Terbutaline sulfate USP is a white to gray-white crystalline powder. It is odorless or has a faint odor of acetic acid. It is soluble in water and in 0.1N hydrochloric acid, slightly soluble in methanol, and insoluble in chloroform. Its molecular weight is 548.65. Inactive Ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, povidone, and corn starch."

"Description": "Diltiazem hydrochloride is a calcium ion cellular influx inhibitor (slow channel blocker or calcium antagonist). Chemically, diltiazem hydrochloride is 1, 5-Benzothiazepin-4(5 H)-one, 3-(acetyloxy)-5-[2-(dimethylamino)ethyl]-2, 3-dihydro-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)-, monohydrochloride,(+)- cis-. The chemical structure is:. Diltiazem hydrochloride, USP is a white, odorless crystalline powder or small crystals. It is freely soluble in chloroform, formic acid, methanol, and water. It is sparingly soluble in dehydrated alcohol and is insoluble in ether. It has a molecular weight of 450.98. Diltiazem hydrochloride is formulated as a once-a-day extended-release capsule containing 120 mg diltiazem hydrochloride, USP (equivalent to 110.3 mg diltiazem), 180 mg diltiazem hydrochloride, USP (equivalent to 165.45 mg diltiazem), 240 mg diltiazem hydrochloride, USP (equivalent to 220.6 mg diltiazem), 300 mg diltiazem hydrochloride, USP (equivalent to 275.75 mg diltiazem), or 360 mg diltiazem hydrochloride, USP (equivalent to 330.9 mg diltiazem). The 120 mg, 180 mg, 240 mg, 300 mg, and 360 mg capsule shells contain FD&C Blue #1, gelatin, sodium lauryl sulfate, and titanium dioxide. The 180 mg, 240 mg, 300 mg, and 360 mg capsule shells also contain iron oxide black.
