"Description": "Immune Globulin Intravenous (Human), PANZYGA, is a solvent/detergent (S/D)-treated, sterile preparation of highly purified immunoglobulin G (IgG) derived from large pools of human plasma. PANZYGA is a solution for infusion to be administered intravenously. This preparation contains approximately 100 mg of protein per mL (10%), of which not less than 96% is normal human immunoglobulin G. PANZYGA contains not more than 3% aggregates, not less than 94% monomers and dimers, and not more than 4% fragments. On average, the product contains 100 µg/mL of IgA, and lower amounts of IgM. PANZYGA contains only trace amounts of sodium, and the pH is between 4.5 and 5.0. The osmolality is in the range of 240-310 mosmol/kg. The manufacturing process for PANZYGA isolates IgG without additional chemical or enzymatic modification, and the Fc portion is maintained intact. PANZYGA contains the IgG antibody activities present in the donor population. IgG subclasses are fully represented with the following approximate percents of total IgG: IgG 1 is 65%, IgG 2 is 28%, IgG 3 is 3% and IgG 4 is 4%. PANZYGA contains a broad spectrum of IgG antibodies against bacterial and viral agents that are capable of opsonization and neutralization of microbes and toxins. PANZYGA contains glycine (15.0-19.5 mg/mL), but no preservatives or sucrose. All units of human plasma used in the manufacture of PANZYGA are provided by FDA-approved blood and plasma establishments, and are tested by FDA-licensed serological tests for HBsAg, antibodies to HCV and HIV and Nucleic Acid Test (NAT) for HCV and HIV1 and found to be non-reactive (negative). The product is manufactured by the cold ethanol fractionation process followed by purification methodologies, as well as S/D treatment and nanofiltration (20 nm). The S/D mixture used is composed of tri-n-butyl phosphate (TNBP, solvent) and Triton X-100 (Octoxynol, detergent). The PANZYGA manufacturing process shows significant viral reduction and inactivation, demonstrated by in vitro infectivity studies ( Table 4 ). The virus safety of PANZYGA is achieved through a combination of various process steps, including S/D treatment, ion-exchange chromatography, and nanofiltration (20 nm). Table 4 shows the virus clearance during the manufacturing process for PANZYGA, expressed as the mean log 10 reduction factor (LRF). Table 4: Virus Reduction by PANZYGA Manufacturing Process. HIV-1: Human Immunodeficiency Virus – 1, a model for HIV-1 and HIV-2;. PRV: Pseudorabies Virus, a model for large enveloped DNA viruses (e.g., herpes virus);. BVDV: Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus, a model for e.g., Hepatitis C virus (HCV) and West-Nile virus (WNV);. MEV: Mouse Encephalomyelitis virus, a model for Hepatitis A virus (HAV);. PPV: Porcine Parvovirus, a model for Human Parvovirus B19;. n.a.: not applicable;. n.d: not done. Additionally, the manufacturing process was investigated for its capacity to decrease the infectivity of an experimental agent of transmissible spongiform encephalopathy (TSE), considered as a model for the vCJD and CJD agents. [ 10 ]. Several of the individual production steps in the PANZYGA manufacturing process were shown to decrease TSE infectivity of that experimental model agent. TSE reduction steps include ion-exchange chromatography and nanofiltration, which together give a total of at least 10.4 log10 decrease of infectivity. These studies provide reasonable assurance that low levels of CJD/vCJD agent infectivity, if present in the starting material, would be removed."

"IndicationAndUsage": "WILATE is indicated in adult and pediatric patients with von Willebrand disease (VWD) for: 1 On-demand treatment and control of bleeding episodes, 2 Perioperative management of bleeding, 3 Routine prophylaxis to reduce the frequency of bleeding episodes.",
"Description": "WILATE is a human plasma-derived, sterile, purified, double virus inactivated von Willebrand Factor/Coagulation Factor VIII Complex. WILATE is supplied as a lyophilized powder for reconstitution for intravenous injection. The diluent for reconstitution of the lyophilized powder is Water for Injection with 0.1% Polysorbate 80. WILATE contains no preservative. No albumin is added as a stabilizer. WILATE is labeled with the actual VWF:RCo and FVIII activities in IU per vial. The VWF activity (VWF:RCo) is determined using a manual agglutination method referenced to the current “WHO International Standard for von Willebrand Factor Concentrate”. The FVIII activity is determined using a chromogenic substrate assay referenced to the current “WHO International Standard for Human Coagulation Factor VIII Concentrate”. The assay methodologies are according to European Pharmacopoeia (Ph.Eur.). The resulting specific activity of WILATE is ≥ 60 IU VWF:RCo and ≥ 60 IU FVIII activities per mg of total protein. The nominal composition of WILATE is as follows. Von Willebrand Factor/Coagulation Factor VIII complex is the active ingredient in WILATE. It is derived from large pools of human plasma collected in U.S. plasma donation centers. All plasma donations are tested for viral markers in compliance with requirements of EU CPMP and FDA guidance. In addition, the limit for the titer of human parvovirus B19 DNA in the manufacturing pool is set not to exceed 104 IU/mL. The product is manufactured from cryoprecipitate, which is reconstituted in a buffer and treated with aluminum hydroxide followed by two different chromatography steps, ultra- and diafiltration, and sterile filtration. The manufacturing process includes two virus inactivation steps, namely, treatment with an organic solvent/detergent (S/D) mixture, composed of tri-n-butyl phosphate (TNBP) and Octoxynol-9, and a terminal dry heat (TDH) treatment of the lyophilized product in final container [at +100°C (212°F) for 120 minutes at a specified residual moisture level of 0.7-1.6%]. In addition, the ion-exchange chromatography step utilized during WILATE manufacturing also removes some viruses. PANZYGA contains not more than 3% aggregates, not less than 90% monomers and dimers, and not more than 3% fragments.

"Description": "Immune Globulin Intravenous (Human), Octagam 5% liquid, is a solvent/detergent (S/D)-treated, sterile preparation of highly purified immunoglobulin G (IgG) derived from large pools of human plasma. Octagam 5% liquid is a solution for infusion which must be administered intravenously. All units of human plasma used in the manufacture of Octagam 5% liquid are provided by FDA-approved blood establishments only, and are tested by FDA-licensed serological tests for HBsAg, antibodies to HCV and HIV and Nucleic Acid Test (NAT) for HCV and HIV-1 and found to be non-reactive (negative). The product is manufactured by the cold ethanol fractionation process followed by ultrafiltration and chromatography. The manufacturing process includes treatment with an organic S/D mixture composed of tri-n-butyl phosphate (TNBP) and Triton X-100 (Octoxynol). The Octagam 5% liquid manufacturing process provides a significant viral reduction in in vitro studies (Table 3). These reductions are achieved through a combination of process steps including cold ethanol fractionation, S/D treatment and pH 4 treatment. "Description": "Immune Globulin Intravenous (Human), Octagam 10%, is a solvent/detergent (S/D)-treated, sterile preparation of highly purified immunoglobulin G (IgG) derived from large pools of human plasma. Octagam 10% is a solution for infusion to be administered intravenously. This preparation contains approximately 100 mg of protein per mL (10%) of which not less than 96% is normal human immunoglobulin G. Octagam 10% contains not more than 3% aggregates, not less than 94% monomers and dimers and not more than 3% fragments. On average, the product contains 106 µg/mL of IgA and even lower amounts of IgM. The sodium content of the final solution is not more than 30 mmol/L and the pH is between 4.5 and 5.0. The osmolality is 310 - 380 mosmol/kg. The manufacturing process for Octagam 10% isolates IgG without additional chemical or enzymatic modification, and the Fc portion is maintained intact Octagam 10% contains the IgG antibody activities present in the donor population. IgG subclasses are fully represented with the following approximate percents of total IgG: IgG 1 is 65%, IgG 2 is 30%, IgG 3 is 3% and IgG 4 is 2%. Octagam 10% contains a broad spectrum of IgG antibodies against bacterial and viral agents that are capable of opsonization and neutralization of microbes and toxins. It contains maltose (90 mg/mL), but no preservatives or sucrose. All units of human plasma used in the manufacture of Octagam 10% are provided by FDA-approved blood establishments, and are tested by FDA-licensed serological tests for HBsAg, antibodies to HCV and HIV and Nucleic Acid Test (NAT) for HCV and HIV-1 and found to be non-reactive (negative).
Immune Globulin Intravenous (Human), PANZYGA, is a solvent/detergent (S/D)-treated, sterile preparation of highly purified immunoglobulin G (IgG) derived from large pools of human plasma. These studies provide reasonable assurance that low levels of CJD/vCJD agent infectivity, if present in the starting material, would be removed.

<IndicationAndUsage>WILATE is indicated in adult and pediatric patients with von Willebrand disease (VWD) for: 1 On-demand treatment and control of bleeding episodes, 2 Perioperative management of bleeding, 3 Routine prophylaxis to reduce the frequency of bleeding episodes.</IndicationAndUsage>

WILATE is a human plasma-derived, sterile, purified, double virus inactivated von Willebrand Factor/Coagulation Factor VIII Complex. These studies provide reasonable assurance that low levels of CJD/vCJD agent infectivity, if present in the starting material, would be removed.

<IndicationAndUsage>Citalopram is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD) in adults [see Clinical Studies (14)].</IndicationAndUsage>

Citalopram tablet contains citalopram hydrobromide, an orally administered selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) with a chemical structure unrelated to that of other SSRIs or of tricyclic, tetracyclic, or other available antidepressant agents. Citalopram hydrobromide is a racemic bicyclic phthalane derivative designated ((±)-1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-1-(4-fluorophenyl)-1,3-dihydroisobenzofuran-5-carbonitrile, hydrobromide with the following structural formula. The molecular formula is C20H22BrFN2O and its molecular weight is 405.35. Citalopram hydrobromide occurs as a fine, white to off-white powder. Citalopram hydrobromide is sparingly soluble in water and soluble in ethanol. Citalopram is available only in tablet dosage form. Citalopram tablets, USP 10 mg are film-coated, round tablets containing citalopram hydrobromide in strengths equivalent to 10 mg citalopram base. Citalopram hydrobromide, USP 20 mg and 40 mg tablets are film-coated, round, scored tablets containing citalopram hydrobromide in strengths equivalent to 20 mg or 40 mg citalopram base. Their strengths reflect their citalopram base equivalent content. The 10 mg, 20 mg and 40 mg strength tablets contain 12.49 mg, 24.98 mg and 49.96 mg of citalopram hydrobromide, respectively. The tablets also contain the following. Inactive ingredients: copovidone, croscarmellose sodium, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, opadry beige (HPMC 2910/hypromellose 6cp, titanium dioxide, macrogol/Peg400, iron oxide yellow and iron oxide red), opadry pink (HPMC 2910/hypromellose 6cP, titanium dioxide, macrogol/Peg400 and iron oxide red) and opadry white (titanium dioxide, HPMC 2910/hypromellose 3cp, HPMC 2910/ hypromellose 6cp, Macrogol/Peg400 and Polysorbate 80) are used as coloring agents in the beige (10 mg) and pink (20 mg) and white (40 mg) tablets.

<IndicationAndUsage>In the treatment of both tuberculosis and the meningococcal carrier state, the small number of resistant cells present within large populations of susceptible cells can rapidly become the predominant type. Bacteriologic cultures should be obtained before the start of therapy to confirm the susceptibility of the organism to Rifampin for Injection, USP and they should be repeated throughout therapy to monitor the response to treatment. Since resistance can emerge rapidly, susceptibility tests should be performed in the event of persistent positive cultures during the course of treatment. If test results show resistance to Rifampin for Injection, USP and the patient is not responding to therapy, the drug regimen should be modified.</IndicationAndUsage>
