"Description": "Pregabalin is described chemically as (S)-3-(aminomethyl)-5-methylhexanoic acid. The molecular formula is C8H17NO2 and the molecular weight is 159.23. The chemical structure of pregabalin is. Pregabalin is a white to off-white, crystalline solid with a pKa1 of 4.2 and a pKa2 of 10.6. It is freely soluble in water and both basic and acidic aqueous solutions. The log of the partition coefficient (n-octanol/0.05M phosphate buffer) at pH 7.4 is – 1.35. Pregabalin capsules are administered orally and are supplied as imprinted hard-shell capsules containing 25 mg, 50 mg, 75 mg, 100 mg, 150 mg, 200 mg, 225 mg, and 300 mg of pregabalin, along with co-processed starch and talc as inactive ingredients. The capsule shell for 25 mg, 50 mg & 150 mg contains: gelatin, purified water, sodium lauryl sulfate and titanium dioxide. The capsule shell for 75 mg, 100 mg, 200 mg, 225 mg & 300 mg contains: FD &C Blue 1, FD& C Red 40, FD& C Yellow 6, gelatin, purified water, sodium lauryl sulfate and titanium dioxide. The 25 mg, 50 mg, 75 mg, 100 mg, 150 mg, 200 mg, 225 mg, and 300 mg capsule imprinting ink contains black iron oxide, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, purified water and shellac."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Bisoprolol fumarate and hydrochlorothiazide tablets are indicated in the management of hypertension.",
"Description": "Bisoprolol fumarate and hydrochlorothiazide tablets, USP are indicated for the treatment of hypertension. It combines two antihypertensive agents in a once-daily dosage: a synthetic beta1-selective (cardioselective) adrenoceptor blocking agent (bisoprolol fumarate USP) and a benzothiadiazine diuretic (hydrochlorothiazide USP). Bisoprolol fumarate USP is chemically described as (±)-1-[4-[[2-(1-methylethoxy)ethoxy]methyl]phenoxy]-3-[(1-methylethyl)amino]-2-propanol(E)-2- butenedioate (2:1) (salt). It possesses an asymmetric carbon atom in its structure and is provided as a racemic mixture. The S(-) enantiomer is responsible for most of the beta-blocking activity. Its molecular formula is (C18H31NO4)2C4H4O4 and it has a molecular weight of 766.97. Its structural formula is. Bisoprolol fumarate USP is a white crystalline powder, approximately equally hydrophilic and lipophilic, and very soluble in water and in methanol. Hydrochlorothiazide USP is 6-Chloro-3,4-dihydro-2H-1,2,4-benzothiadiazine-7-sulfonamide 1,1-dioxide. It is a white or practically white, practically odorless, crystalline powder. It is slightly soluble in water, freely soluble in sodium hydroxide solution, in n-butylamine and in dimethylformamide, sparingly soluble in methanol, insoluble in ether, in chloroform, and in dilute mineral acids. Its molecular formula is C7H8ClN3O4S2 and it has a molecular weight of 297.73. Its structural formula is. Additionally 2.5 mg/6.25 mg and 5 mg/6.25 mg tablets contains iron oxide red and iron oxide yellow. FDA approved dissolution test specifications differ from USP."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Alprazolam tablets are indicated for the: : 1 acute treatment of generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) in adults., 2 treatment of panic disorder (PD), with or without agoraphobia in adults.",
"Description": "Alprazolam tablets, USP contain alprazolam which is a triazolo analog of the 1,4 benzodiazepine class of central nervous system-active compounds. The chemical name of alprazolam is 8-Chloro-1-methyl-6-phenyl-4H-s-triazolo [4,3-α] [1,4] benzodiazepine. The structural formula is:. Alprazolam USP is a white to off-white, crystalline powder, which is soluble in methanol or ethanol but which has no appreciable solubility in water at physiological pH. Each alprazolam tablet USP, for oral administration, contains 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, 1 mg, or 2 mg of alprazolam USP. Inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, corn starch, docusate sodium 85% with sodium benzoate 15%, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, and microcrystalline cellulose. In addition, the 0.5 mg tablet contains FD&C Yellow # 6 aluminum lake and the 1 mg tablet contains FD&C Blue No. 2 lake."

"Description": "Finasteride tablets, USP contain finasteride as the active ingredient. Finasteride, a synthetic 4-azasteroid compound, is a specific inhibitor of steroid Type II 5α-reductase, an intracellular enzyme that converts the androgen testosterone into 5α-dihydrotestosterone (DHT). The chemical name of finasteride is N-tert-Butyl-3-oxo-4-aza-5α-androst-1-ene-17β-carboxamide. The empirical formula of finasteride is C23H36N2O2 and its molecular weight is 372.55. Its structural formula is."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Pravastatin sodium tablets are an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (statin) indicated as an adjunctive therapy to diet to: : 1 Reduce the risk of MI, revascularization, and cardiovascular mortality in hypercholesterolemic patients without clinically evident CHD. (1.1), 2 Reduce the risk of total mortality by reducing coronary death, MI, revascularization, stroke/TIA, and the progression of coronary atherosclerosis in patients with clinically evident CHD. (1.1), 3 Reduce elevated Total-C, LDL-C, ApoB, and TG levels and to increase HDL-C in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia. (1.2), 4 Reduce elevated serum TG levels in patients with hypertriglyceridemia.(1.2), 5 Treat patients with primary dysbetalipoproteinemia who are not responding to diet. (1.2), 6 Treat children and adolescent patients ages 8 years and older with heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia after failing an adequate trial of diet therapy. (1.2).",
"Description": "Pravastatin sodium tablets, USP is one of a class of lipid-lowering compounds, the statins, which reduce cholesterol biosynthesis. These agents are competitive inhibitors of HMG-CoA reductase, the enzyme catalyzing the early rate-limiting step in cholesterol biosynthesis, conversion of HMG-CoA to mevalonate. Pravastatin sodium is designated chemically as 1-Naphthalene-heptanoic acid, 1,2,6,7,8,8a-hexahydro-β,δ,6-trihydroxy-2-methyl-8-(2-methyl-1-oxobutoxy)-, monosodium salt, [1S[1α(βS*,δS*),2α,6α,8β(R*),8aα]]-. Structural formula. Pravastatin sodium is an odorless, white to off-white, fine or crystalline powder. It is a relatively polar hydrophilic compound with a partition coefficient (octanol/water) of 0.59 at a pH of 7.0. It is soluble in methanol and water (>300 mg/mL), slightly soluble in isopropanol, and practically insoluble in acetone, acetonitrile, chloroform, and ether. Pravastatin sodium tablets, USP are available for oral administration as 10 mg, 20 mg, 40 mg, and 80 mg tablets. Inactive ingredients include: Calcium Stearate, Crospovidone, Ferric Oxide, Low Substituted Hydroxypropyl Cellulose and Mannitol."

Pravastatin sodium is designated chemically as 1-Naphthalene-heptanoic acid, 1,2,6,7,8,8a-hexahydro-β,δ,6-trihydroxy-2-methyl-8-(2-methyl-1-oxobutoxy)-, monosodium salt, [1S[1α(βS*,δS*),2α,6α,8β(R*),8aα]]-. Structural formula. Pravastatin sodium is an odorless, white to off-white, fine or crystalline powder. It is a relatively polar hydrophilic compound with a partition coefficient (octanol/water) of 0.59 at a pH of 7.0. It is soluble in methanol and water (>300 mg/mL), slightly soluble in isopropanol, and practically insoluble in acetone, acetonitrile, chloroform, and ether. Chemically, solifenacin succinate is butanedioic acid compound with (1S)-(3R)-1-azabicyclo[2.2.2]oct-3-yl 3,4-dihydro-1-phenyl-2(1H)-iso-quinolinecarboxylate (1:1) having an empirical formula of C23H26N2O2C4H6O4, and a molecular weight of 480.55. The structural formula of solifenacin succinate is. Solifenacin succinate is a white to pale-yellowish-white crystal or crystalline powder. It is freely soluble at room temperature in water, glacial acetic acid, dimethyl sulfoxide, and methanol. Each solifenacin succinate tablet contains 5 or 10 mg of solifenacin succinate and is for oral administration. The structural formula is. Duloxetine hydrochloride is a white to slightly brownish white solid, which is slightly soluble in water. Each capsule contains enteric-coated pellets of 22.4, 33.7, or 67.3 mg of duloxetine hydrochloride USP equivalent to 20, 30, or 60 mg of duloxetine, respectively. These enteric-coated pellets are designed to prevent degradation of the drug in the acidic environment of the stomach.
