"Description": "Amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium for oral suspension, USP is an oral antibacterial combination consisting of the semisynthetic antibacterial amoxicillin and the beta-lactamase inhibitor, clavulanate potassium (the potassium salt of clavulanic acid). Amoxicillin is an analog of ampicillin, derived from the basic penicillin nucleus, 6-aminopenicillanic acid. Chemically, amoxicillin is (2 S,5 R,6 R)-6-[( R)-(-)-2-amino-2-( p-hydroxyphenyl)acetamido]-3,3-dimethyl-7-oxo-4-thia-1-azabicyclo[3.2.0] heptane-2-carboxylic acid trihydrate and may be represented structurally as:. C 16H 19N 3O 5S 3H 2O M.W. 419.46. Clavulanic acid is produced by the fermentation of Streptomyces clavuligerus. It is a beta-lactam structurally related to the penicillins and possesses the ability to inactivate a wide variety of beta-lactamases by blocking the active sites of these enzymes. Clavulanic acid is particularly active against the clinically important plasmid-mediated beta-lactamases frequently responsible for transferred drug resistance to penicillins and cephalosporins. Chemically, clavulanate potassium is potassium ( Z)-(2 R,5 R)-3-(2-hydroxyethylidene)-7-oxo-4-oxa-1-azabicyclo[3.2.0]-heptane-2-carboxylate and may be represented structurally as:. C 8H 8KNO 5M.W. 237.25. Following constitution, each 5 mL of oral suspension contains 600 mg of amoxicillin as the trihydrate and 42.9 mg of clavulanic acid (equivalent to 51.1 mg of clavulanate potassium). Inactive Ingredients:aspartame, citric acid, colloidal silicon dioxide, mannitol, hypromellose, PB82 spray dried orange 739 flavor, sodium citrate, sodium saccharin, and xanthan gum [see Warnings and Precautions (5.8)] . Each 5 mL of reconstituted amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium for oral suspension, USP, 600 mg/42.9 mg per 5 mL contains 600 mg amoxicillin as the trihydrate and 42.9 mg clavulanic acid as the potassium salt (clavulanate potassium). The potassium content per 5 mL is 0.23 mEq."

"IndicationAndUsage": "In children 6 weeks through 5 years of age (prior to the 6th birthday), Prevnar 13 is indicated for: 1 active immunization for the prevention of invasive disease caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae serotypes 1, 3, 4, 5, 6A, 6B, 7F, 9V, 14, 18C, 19A, 19F and 23F. (1.1), 2 active immunization for the prevention of otitis media caused by S. pneumoniae serotypes 4, 6B, 9V, 14, 18C, 19F, and 23F. No otitis media efficacy data are available for serotypes 1, 3, 5, 6A, 7F, and 19A. (1.1).",
"Description": "Prevnar 13, Pneumococcal 13-valent Conjugate Vaccine (Diphtheria CRM197 Protein) is a sterile suspension of saccharides of the capsular antigens of Streptococcus pneumoniae serotypes 1, 3, 4, 5, 6A, 6B, 7F, 9V, 14, 18C, 19A, 19F, and 23F, individually linked to non-toxic diphtheria CRM197 protein. Each serotype is grown in soy peptone broth. The individual polysaccharides are purified through centrifugation, precipitation, ultrafiltration, and column chromatography. The polysaccharides are chemically activated to make saccharides, which are directly conjugated by reductive amination to the protein carrier CRM197, to form the glycoconjugate. CRM197 is a nontoxic variant of diphtheria toxin isolated from cultures of Corynebacterium diphtheriae strain C7 (β197) grown in a casamino acids and yeast extract-based medium or in a chemically-defined medium. CRM197 is purified through ultrafiltration, ammonium sulfate precipitation, and ion-exchange chromatography. The individual glycoconjugates are purified by ultrafiltration and column chromatography and analyzed for saccharide to protein ratios, molecular size, free saccharide, and free protein. The individual glycoconjugates are compounded to formulate Prevnar 13. Potency of the formulated vaccine is determined by quantification of each of the saccharide antigens and by the saccharide to protein ratios in the individual glycoconjugates. Each 0.5 mL dose of the vaccine is formulated to contain approximately 2.2 µg of each of Streptococcus pneumoniae serotypes 1, 3, 4, 5, 6A, 7F, 9V, 14, 18C, 19A, 19F, 23F saccharides, 4.4 μg of 6B saccharides, 34 µg CRM197 carrier protein, 100 µg polysorbate 80, 295 µg succinate buffer and 125 µg aluminum as aluminum phosphate adjuvant. The tip cap and rubber plunger of the prefilled syringe are not made with natural rubber latex."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder is a combination product containing a corticosteroid and a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA) indicated for: 1 Twice-daily treatment of asthma in patients aged 4 years and older. (1.1), 2 Maintenance treatment of airflow obstruction and reducing exacerbations in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). (1.2).",
"Description": "Fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder USP, 100 mcg/50 mcg, fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder USP, 250 mcg/50 mcg, and fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder USP, 500 mcg/50 mcg are combinations of fluticasone propionate, USP and salmeterol xinafoate, USP. One active component of fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder is fluticasone propionate, a corticosteroid having the chemical name S-fluoromethyl-6α,9α-difluoro-11β-hydroxy-16α-methyl-3-oxo-17α-propionyloxyandrosta-1,4-diene-17β-carbothioate and the following chemical structure. Fluticasone propionate is a white or almost white powder with a molecular weight of 500.6, and the empirical formula is C25H31F3O5S. It is practically insoluble in water, freely soluble in dimethyl sulfoxide and dimethylformamide, and slightly soluble in methanol and 95% ethanol. The other active component of fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder is salmeterol xinafoate, a beta2-adrenergic bronchodilator. Salmeterol xinafoate is the racemic form of the 1-hydroxy-2-naphthoic acid salt of salmeterol. It has the chemical name 1,3-benzenedimethanol, 4-hydroxy-α1-[[[6-(4-phenylbutoxy)hexyl]amino]methyl]-(±)-,1-hydroxy-2-naphthalenecarboxylate (salt) and the following chemical structure. Salmeterol xinafoate is a white to off-white powder with a molecular weight of 603.75, and the empirical formula is C25H37NO4C11H8O3. It is freely soluble in methanol; slightly soluble in ethanol, chloroform, and isopropanol; and sparingly soluble in water. Fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder is in a gray plastic inhaler containing a foil blister strip. Each blister on the strip contains a white powder mix of micronized fluticasone propionate (100 mcg, 250 mcg, or 500 mcg) and micronized salmeterol xinafoate salt (72.5 mcg, equivalent to 50 mcg of salmeterol base) in 12.5 mg of formulation containing lactose monohydrate (which contains milk proteins). After the inhaler is activated, the powder is dispersed into the airstream created by the patient inhaling through the mouthpiece. Under standardized in vitro test conditions, fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder delivers 93 mcg, 233 mcg, and 465 mcg of fluticasone propionate and 45 mcg of salmeterol base per blister from fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder 100 mcg/50 mcg, fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder 250 mcg/50 mcg, and fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder 500 mcg/50 mcg, respectively, when tested at a flow rate of 60 L/min for 2 seconds. In adult subjects with obstructive lung disease and severely compromised lung function (mean FEV1 20% to 30% of predicted), mean peak inspiratory flow (PIF) through another dry powder inhaler was 82.4 L/min (range: 46.1 to 115.3 L/min). Inhalation profiles for adolescent (N = 13, aged 12 to 17 years) and adult (N = 17, aged 18 to 50 years) subjects with asthma inhaling maximally through another dry powder inhaler show mean PIF of 122.2 L/min (range: 81.6 to 152.1 L/min). Inhalation profiles for pediatric subjects with asthma inhaling maximally through another dry powder inhaler show a mean PIF of 75.5 L/min (range: 49.0 to 104.8 L/min) for the 4‑year‑old subject set (N = 20) and 107.3 L/min (range: 82.8 to 125.6 L/min) for the 8‑year‑old subject set (N = 20). The actual amount of drug delivered to the lung will depend on patient factors, such as inspiratory flow profile."

<IndicationAndUsage>Amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium for oral suspension, 600 mg/42.9 mg per 5 mL is indicated for the treatment of pediatric patients aged 3 months to 12 years weighing less than or equal to 40 kg with. : 1 Recurrent or persistent acute otitis media due to S. pneumoniae(penicillin MICs less than or equal to 2 mcg/mL), H. influenzae(including beta-lactamase-producing strains), or M. catarrhalis(including beta-lactamase-producing strains) characterized by the following risk factors: .</IndicationAndUsage>

Amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium for oral suspension, USP is an oral antibacterial combination consisting of the semisynthetic antibacterial amoxicillin and the beta-lactamase inhibitor, clavulanate potassium (the potassium salt of clavulanic acid). The potassium content per 5 mL is 0.23 mEq.

<IndicationAndUsage>In children 6 weeks through 5 years of age (prior to the 6th birthday), Prevnar 13 is indicated for: 1 active immunization for the prevention of invasive disease caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae serotypes 1, 3, 4, 5, 6A, 6B, 7F, 9V, 14, 18C, 19A, 19F and 23F. (1.1).</IndicationAndUsage>

Prevnar 13, Pneumococcal 13-valent Conjugate Vaccine (Diphtheria CRM197 Protein) is a sterile suspension of saccharides of the capsular antigens of Streptococcus pneumoniae serotypes 1, 3, 4, 5, 6A, 6B, 7F, 9V, 14, 18C, 19A, 19F, and 23F, individually linked to non-toxic diphtheria CRM197 protein. The tip cap and rubber plunger of the prefilled syringe are not made with natural rubber latex.

The tip cap and rubber plunger of the prefilled syringe are not made with natural rubber latex.

<IndicationAndUsage>Fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder is a combination product containing a corticosteroid and a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA) indicated for: 1 Twice-daily treatment of asthma in patients aged 4 years and older. (1.1), 2 Maintenance treatment of airflow obstruction and reducing exacerbations in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). (1.2).</IndicationAndUsage>

Fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder USP, 100 mcg/50 mcg, fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder USP, 250 mcg/50 mcg, and fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder USP, 500 mcg/50 mcg are combinations of fluticasone propionate, USP and salmeterol xinafoate, USP. The actual amount of drug delivered to the lung will depend on patient factors, such as inspiratory flow profile.
