"IndicationAndUsage": "Rosuvastatin tablets are indicated. To reduce the risk of major adverse cardiovascular (CV) events (CV death, nonfatal myocardial infarction, nonfatal stroke, or an arterial revascularization procedure) in adults without established coronary heart disease who are at increased risk of CV disease based on age, high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP) ≥2 mg/L, and at least one additional CV risk factor. As an adjunct to diet to:. o Reduce low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) in adults with primary hyperlipidemia. o Reduce LDL-C and slow the progression of atherosclerosis in adults. o Reduce LDL-C in adults and pediatric patients aged 8 years and older with heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HeFH). As an adjunct to other LDL-C-lowering therapies, or alone if such treatments are unavailable, to reduce LDL-C in adults and pediatric patients aged 7 years and older with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HoFH). "Description": "Rosuvastatin calcium, USP is a 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A (HMG CoA)-reductase inhibitor. The chemical name for rosuvastatin calcium is bis [(E)-7-[4-(4-fluorophenyl)-6-isopropyl-2 [methyl (methylsulfonyl) amino] pyrimidin-5-yl] (3R, 5S)-3, 5-dihydroxyhept-6-enoic acid] calcium salt with the following structural formula:. The molecular formula for rosuvastatin calcium, USP is (C22H27FN3O6S)2 Ca and the molecular weight is 1,001.14. Rosuvastatin calcium is a white amorphous powder that is sparingly soluble in water and methanol, and slightly soluble in ethanol. Rosuvastatin calcium is a hydrophilic compound with a partition coefficient (octanol/water) of 0.13 at pH of 7.0. Rosuvastatin tablets, USP for oral use contain rosuvastatin 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg, or 40 mg (equivalent to 5.2 mg, 10.4 mg, 20.8 mg, and 41.6 mg rosuvastatin calcium) and the following inactive ingredients: crospovidone, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, mannitol, meglumine, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, titanium dioxide and triacetin. Additionally, 10 mg, 20 mg and 40 mg tablets contain FD&C red No. 40/allura red AC aluminum lake, FD&C blue No. 2/indigo carmine aluminum lake and FD&C yellow No.6/sunset yellow FCF aluminum lake. Meets USP Dissolution Test 2."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Carefully consider the potential benefits and risks of nabumetone and other treatment options before deciding to use nabumetone. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration consistent with individual patient treatment goals (see WARNINGS). Nabumetone tablets are indicated for relief of signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.",
"Description": "Nabumetone is a naphthylalkanone designated chemically as 4-(6-methoxy-2-naphthalenyl)-2-butanone. It has the following structure. Nabumetone is a white to off-white crystalline substance. It is nonacidic and practically insoluble in water, but soluble in alcohol and most organic solvents. It has an n-octanol:phosphate buffer partition coefficient of 2400 at pH 7.4. Each nabumetone tablet, for oral administration, contains 500 mg or 750 mg of nabumetone and has the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, D&C yellow #10 aluminum lake, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate 80, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium starch glycolate and titanium dioxide. In addition, the 750 mg contains FD&C yellow #6 aluminum lake."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Nebivolol tablets are a beta-adrenergic blocking agent indicated for the treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions. (1.1).",
"Description": "The chemical name for the active ingredient in Nebivolol Tablets is [2S*[R*[R*[R*]]]] and [2R*[S*[S*[S*]]]]-(±) α, α'-[iminobis(metylene)] bis [6-fluoro-3,4-dihydro-2H-1-benzopyran-2-methanol] hydrochloride. Nebivolol is a racemate composed of d-Nebivolol and l-Nebivolol with the stereochemical designations of [SRRR]-nebivolol and [RSSS]-nebivolol, respectively. Nebivolol’s molecular formula is (C22H25F2NO4HCl) with the following structural formula. SRRR - or d-nebivolol hydrochloride. RSSS - or l-nebivolol hydrochloride. MW: 441.9 g/mol. Nebivolol hydrochloride is a white to off-white crystalline powder that is sparingly soluble in Dimethyl formamide and slightly soluble in Methanol. Nebivolol Tablets for oral administration contain nebivolol hydrochloride equivalent to 2.5, 5, 10, and 20 mg of nebivolol base. In addition, Nebivolol Tablets contain the following inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate NF, pregelatinized starch USNF, croscarmellose sodium USNF, FD&C Blue #2 aluminium lake, D&C Red #27, FD&C Yellow #6, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose USP, polysorbate 80 USP-NF, microcrystalline cellulose NF, colloidal silicon dioxide NF, magnesium stearate USP-NF, and sodium lauryl sulphate USNF."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Duloxetine delayed-release capsules are indicated for the treatment of: Major depressive disorder in adults Generalized anxiety disorder in adults and pediatric patients 7 years of age and older Diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain in adults Fibromyalgia in adults Chronic musculoskeletal pain in adults.",
"Description": "Duloxetine delayed-release capsules, USP are a selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) for oral administration. Its chemical designation is (+)-(S)-N-methyl-γ-(1-naphthyloxy)-2-thiophenepropylamine hydrochloride. The empirical formula is C18H19NOSHCl, which corresponds to a molecular weight of 333.88. The structural formula is:. Duloxetine hydrochloride is a white to slightly brownish white solid, which is slightly soluble in water. Each capsule contains enteric-coated pellets of 20, 30, or 60 mg of duloxetine (equivalent to 22.4, 33.7, or 67.3 mg of duloxetine hydrochloride, respectively). These enteric-coated pellets are designed to prevent degradation of the drug in the acidic environment of the stomach. Inactive ingredients include FD&C Blue No. 2, gelatin, hypromellose, hypromellose phthalate, sodium lauryl sulfate, polyethylene glycol, sucrose, sugar spheres, talc, titanium dioxide, and triethyl citrate.The 20 and 60 mg capsules also contain iron oxide yellow."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Modafinil tablets are indicated to improve wakefulness in adult patients with excessive sleepiness associated with narcolepsy, obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), or shift work disorder (SWD). Limitations of UseIn OSA, modafinil tablets are indicated to treat excessive sleepiness and not as treatment for the underlying obstruction. If continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) is the treatment of choice for a patient, a maximal effort to treat with CPAP for an adequate period of time should be made prior to initiating and during treatment with modafinil tablets for excessive sleepiness.",
"Description": "Modafinil, USP is wakefulness-promoting agent for oral administration. Modafinil, USP is a racemic compound. The chemical name for modafinil, USP is 2-[(diphenylmethyl)sulfinyl]acetamide. The molecular formula is C15H15NO2S and the molecular weight is 273.35. The chemical structure is. Modafinil, USP is a white to off-white, crystalline powder that is practically insoluble in water and cyclohexane. It is sparingly to slightly soluble in methanol and acetone. Modafinil tablets, USP contain 100 mg or 200 mg of modafinil, USP and the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, crospovidone, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, pregelatinized starch, and talc. USP dissolution test pending."

"Description": "Carvedilol is a nonselective β-adrenergic blocking agent with α1-blocking activity. It is (±)-1-(Carbazol-4-yloxy)-3-[[2-(o-methoxyphenoxy)ethyl]amino]-2-propanol. Carvedilol is a racemic mixture with the following structure. Carvedilol tablets, USP are film-coated tablets containing 3.125 mg, 6.25 mg, 12.5 mg or 25 mg of carvedilol. Inactive ingredients consist of colloidal silicon dioxide, crospovidone, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polydextrose, polyethylene glycol, pregelatinized starch, sodium lauryl sulfate, and titanium dioxide. In addition, the 3.125 mg tablets contain FD&C Blue No. 2 Aluminum Lake and FD&C Yellow No. 6 Aluminum Lake. Carvedilol, USP is a white to off-white powder with a molecular weight of 406.5 and a molecular formula of C24H26N2O4. It is freely soluble in dimethylsulfoxide; soluble in methylene chloride and methanol; sparingly soluble in 95% ethanol and isopropanol; slightly soluble in ethyl ether; and practically insoluble in water, gastric fluid (simulated, TS, pH 1.1), and intestinal fluid (simulated, TS without pancreatin, pH 7.5). Carvedilol Tablets, USP meet USP Dissolution Test 2."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Tamsulosin hydrochloride capsules, USP are indicated for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) [see Clinical Studies (14)]. Tamsulosin hydrochloride capsules are not indicated for the treatment of hypertension.",
"Description": "Tamsulosin hydrochloride is an antagonist of alpha1A adrenoceptors in the prostate.Tamsulosin hydrochloride is (-)-(R)-5-[2-[[2-(o-Ethoxyphenoxy) ethyl]amino]propyl]-2-methoxybenzenesulfonamide, monohydrochloride. Tamsulosin hydrochloride is a white or almost white crystalline powder that melts with decomposition at approximately 230°C. It is slightly soluble in water, freely soluble in formic acid, slightly soluble in anhydrous ethanol, sparingly soluble in methanol, slightly soluble in glacial acetic acid, and practically insoluble in ether. The molecular formula of tamsulosin hydrochloride is C20H28N2O5S HCl. The molecular weight of tamsulosin hydrochloride is 444.98. Its structural formula is. Each tamsulosin hydrochloride capsule USP for oral administration contains tamsulosin hydrochloride USP 0.4 mg, and the following inactive ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, methacrylic acid copolymer dispersion, hypromellose acetate succinate, triethyl citrate, talc, and sodium lauryl sulfate. The capsule shell contains gelatin, sodium lauryl sulfate, FD&C blue No. 2, ferric oxide red, ferric oxide yellow, and titanium dioxide.Imprinting black ink contains shellac, dehydrated alcohol, butyl alcohol, propylene glycol, strong ammonia solution, black iron oxide, and potassium hydroxide. It meets USP Dissolution Test 9."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Tolterodine Tartrate Extended-Release Capsules are indicated for the treatment of overactive bladder with symptoms of urge urinary incontinence, urgency, and frequency [see CLINICAL STUDIES (14)] .",
"Description": "Tolterodine Tartrate Extended-Release Capsules, USP contain tolterodine tartrate. The active moiety, tolterodine, is a muscarinic receptor antagonist. The chemical name of tolterodine tartrate is (R)-N,N-diisopropyl-3-(2-hydroxy-5-methylphenyl)-3-phenylpropanamine L-hydrogen tartrate. The empirical formula of tolterodine tartrate is C 26H 37NO 7,. Its structure is:. Tolterodine tartrate is a white, crystalline powder with a molecular weight of 475.6. The pK a value is 9.87 and the solubility in water is 12 mg/mL. It is soluble in methanol, slightly soluble in ethanol, and practically insoluble in toluene. The partition coefficient (Log D) between n-octanol and water is 1.83 at pH 7.3. Each capsule contains 2 mg or 4 mg of tolterodine tartrate with the following inactive ingredients: ethylcellulose, hypromellose, medium-chain triglycerides, oleic acid, sugar spheres (composed of corn starch and sucrose) and talc. The capsule shell contains FD&C Blue No.1, FD&C Red No.40 (4 mg), gelatin, titanium dioxide and ferric oxide yellow (2 mg). The imprinting ink contains ferrosoferric oxide, potassium hydroxide and shellac. FDA approved dissolution test specifications differ from USP."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Gabapentin tablets are indicated for: : 1 Management of postherpetic neuralgia in adults, 2 Adjunctive therapy in the treatment of partial onset seizures, with and without secondary generalization, in adults and pediatric patients 3 years and older with epilepsy.",
"Description": "The active ingredient in gabapentin tablets is gabapentin, which has the chemical name 1-(aminomethyl)cyclohexaneacetic acid. The molecular formula of gabapentin is C9H17NO2 and the molecular weight is 171.24. The structural formula of gabapentin is. Gabapentin is a white to off-white crystalline solid with a pKa1 of 3.7 and a pKa2 of 10.7. It is freely soluble in water and both basic and acidic aqueous solutions. The log of the partition coefficient (n-octanol/0.05M phosphate buffer) at pH 7.4 is –1.25. Each gabapentin tablet contains 600 mg or 800 mg of gabapentin and the following inactive ingredients: copovidone, hydroxyl propyl cellulose, magnesium stearate, mannitol, poloxamer, talc, low-substituted hydroxypropyl cellulose and opadry II (white). Opadry II (white) contains polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol, titanium dioxide, and talc."

"Description": "Doxazosin mesylate is a quinazoline compound that is a selective inhibitor of the alpha 1 subtype of alpha-adrenergic receptors. The chemical name of doxazosin mesylate is 1-(4-amino-6,7- dimethoxy-2-quinazolinyl)-4-(1,4-benzodioxan-2-ylcarbonyl) piperazine methanesulfonate. The empirical formula for doxazosin mesylate is C 23H 25N 5O 5 CH 4O 3S and the molecular weight is 547.6. It has the following structure:. Doxazosin mesylate is freely soluble in dimethylsulfoxide, soluble in dimethylformamide, slightly soluble in methanol, ethanol, and water (0.8% at 25°C), and very slightly soluble in acetone and methylene chloride. "IndicationAndUsage": "Hypothyroidism. Levothyroxine sodium tablets are indicated as a replacement therapy in primary (thyroidal), secondary (pituitary), and tertiary (hypothalamic) congenital or acquired hypothyroidism. Pituitary Thyrotropin (Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone, TSH) Suppression. Levothyroxine sodium tablets are indicated as an adjunct to surgery and radioiodine therapy in the management of thyrotropin-dependent well-differentiated thyroid cancer. Limitations of Use. Levothyroxine sodium tablets are not indicated for suppression of benign thyroid nodules and nontoxic diffuse goiter in iodine-sufficient patients as there are no clinical benefits and overtreatment with levothyroxine sodium tablets may induce hyperthyroidism [see Warnings and Precautions (5.4)] . Levothyroxine sodium tablets are not indicated for treatment of hypothyroidism during the recovery phase of subacute thyroiditis.",
"Description": "Levothyroxine sodium tablets USP contain synthetic crystalline L-3,3',5,5' tetraiodothyronine sodium salt [levothyroxine (T4) sodium]. Synthetic T4 is chemically identical to that produced in the human thyroid gland. Levothyroxine (T4) sodium has an empirical formula of C15H10I4N NaO4xH2O, molecular weight of 798.85 (anhydrous), and structural formula as shown. [image-1]. Levothyroxine sodium tablets USP for oral administration are supplied in the following strengths: 25 mcg, 50 mcg, 75 mcg, 88 mcg, 100 mcg, 112 mcg, 125 mcg, 137 mcg, 150 mcg, 175 mcg, 200 mcg, and 300 mcg. Each levothyroxine sodium tablets USP contains the inactive ingredients corn starch, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, mannitol and sodium bicarbonate. Table 6 provides a listing of the color additives by tablet strength. * Note – FD&C Yellow No. 6 is peach in color. "IndicationAndUsage": "Candesartan cilexetil tablets are an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) indicated for: 1 Treatment of hypertension in adults and children 1 year to < 17 years of age, to lower blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and non-fatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions (1.1)., 2 Treatment of heart failure (NYHA class II-IV); candesartan cilexetil reduces cardiovascular death and heart failure hospitalization (1.2).",
"Description": "Candesartan cilexetil, a prodrug, is hydrolyzed to candesartan during absorption from the gastrointestinal tract. Candesartan is a selective AT1 subtype angiotensin II receptor antagonist. Candesartan cilexetil, a nonpeptide, is chemically described as (±)-1-Hydroxyethyl 2-ethoxy-1-[p-(o-1H-tetrazol-5-ylphenyl)benzyl]-7-benzimidazolecarboxylate, cyclohexyl carbonate (ester). Its molecular formula is C33H34N6O6, and its structural formula is. Candesartan cilexetil, USP is a white to off-white powder with a molecular weight of 610.67. It is practically insoluble in water and sparingly soluble in methanol. Candesartan cilexetil is a racemic mixture containing one chiral center at the cyclohexyloxycarbonyloxy ethyl ester group. Following oral administration, candesartan cilexetil undergoes hydrolysis at the ester link to form the active drug, candesartan, which is achiral. Each candesartan cilexetil tablet, USP intended for oral administration contains 4 mg or 8 mg or 16 mg or 32 mg candesartan cilexetil. In addition each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: carboxymethyl cellulose calcium, corn starch, hydroxypropyl cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate and polyethylene glycol. Additionally each 4 mg and 8 mg tablet contains ferric oxide red."

Rosuvastatin tablets, USP for oral use contain rosuvastatin 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg, or 40 mg (equivalent to 5.2 mg, 10.4 mg, 20.8 mg, and 41.6 mg rosuvastatin calcium) and the following inactive ingredients: crospovidone, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, mannitol, meglumine, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, titanium dioxide and triacetin. Additionally, 10 mg, 20 mg and 40 mg tablets contain FD&C red No. 40/allura red AC aluminum lake, FD&C blue No. 2/indigo carmine aluminum lake and FD&C yellow No.6/sunset yellow FCF aluminum lake.
