"IndicationAndUsage": "Therapy with lipid-altering agents should be only one component of multiple risk factor intervention in individuals at significantly increased risk for atherosclerotic vascular disease due to hyperlipidemia. Niacin therapy is indicated as an adjunct to diet when the response to a diet restricted in saturated fat and cholesterol and other nonpharmacologic measures alone has been inadequate. Limitations of Use. Addition of niacin extended-release tablets did not reduce cardiovascular morbidity or mortality among patients treated with simvastatin in a large, randomized controlled trial (AIM-HIGH) [see Warnings and Precautions (5.1)].",
"Description": "Niacin extended-release tablets USP, contain niacin, USP, which at therapeutic doses is an antihyperlipidemic agent. Niacin USP (nicotinic acid, or 3-pyridinecarboxylic acid) is white crystals or crystalline powder, sparingly soluble in water, soluble in boiling alcohol, freely soluble in boiling water and in solutions of alkali hydroxides and carbonates. Very slightly soluble in ether, with the following structural formula: Niacin extended-release tablets USP are white to off-white, film-coated tablets for oral administration and are available in three tablet strengths containing 500 mg, 750 mg, and 1,000 mg niacin, USP. Niacin extended-release tablets USP also contain the inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, hydrogenated castor oil, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, polyethylene glycol, titanium dioxide. USP dissolution test is pending."

Benefits are most clearly evident in patients with left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) below normal. (1.1), 2 for the treatment of symptomatic heart failure with systemic left ventricular systolic dysfunction in pediatric patients aged one year and older. Sacubitril and valsartan tablets reduces NT-proBNP and is expected to improve cardiovascular outcomes. (1.2).",
"Description": "Sacubitril and valsartan tablets are combination of a neprilysin inhibitor and an angiotensin II receptor blocker. Sacubitril and valsartan tablets contain a complex comprised of anionic forms of sacubitril and valsartan, sodium cations, and water molecules in the molar ratio of 1:1:3:3, respectively. Following oral administration, the complex dissociates into sacubitril (which is further metabolized to LBQ657) and valsartan. The complex is chemically described as Octadecasodiumhexakis(4-{[(1S,3R)-1-([1,1´-biphenyl]-4-ylmethyl)-4-ethoxy-3-methyl-4-oxobutyl]amino}-4-oxobutanoate)hexakis(N-pentanoyl-N-{[2´-(1H-tetrazol-1-id-5-yl)[1,1´-biphenyl]-4-yl]methyl}-L-valinate)—water (1/15). Its empirical formula (trihydrate) is C 48H 55N 6Na 3O 8.3H 2O. Its molecular mass is 967 and its schematic structural formula is:. Sacubitril and valsartan tablets are available as film-coated tablets for oral administration, containing 24 mg of sacubitril and 26 mg of valsartan; 49 mg of sacubitril and 51 mg of valsartan; and 97 mg of sacubitril and 103 mg of valsartan. The tablet inactive ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, low-substituted hydroxypropylcellulose, crospovidone, magnesium stearate (vegetable origin), talc, and colloidal silicon dioxide. The film-coat inactive ingredients are hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E 171), polyethylene glycol, talc, and iron oxide red (E 172). The film-coat for the 24 mg of sacubitril and 26 mg of valsartan tablet and the 97 mg of sacubitril and 103 mg of valsartan tablet also contains iron oxide black (E 172). The film-coat for the 49 mg of sacubitril and 51 mg of valsartan tablet contains iron oxide yellow (E 172)."

"IndicationAndUsage": "To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of tetracycline hydrochloride and other antibacterial drugs, tetracycline hydrochloride should be used only to treat infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria. When culture and susceptibility information are available, they should be considered in selecting or modifying antibacterial therapy. In the absence of such data, local epidemiology and susceptibility patterns may contribute to the empiric selection of therapy. Tetracycline is indicated in the treatment of infections caused by susceptible strains of the designated organisms in the conditions listed below: 1 Upper respiratory tract infections caused by Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus pneumoniae and Hemophilus influenzae. Note: Tetracycline should not be used for streptococcal disease unless the organism has been demonstrated to be susceptible., 2 Lower respiratory tract infections caused by Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus pneumoniae,Mycoplasma pneumoniae (Eaton agent, and Klebsiella sp.), 3 Skin and soft tissue infections caused by Streptococcus pyogenes, Staphylococcus aureaus . (Tetracyclines are not the drugs of choice in the treatment of any type of staphylococcalinfections.), 4 Infections caused by rickettsia including Rocky Mountain spotted fever, typhus group infections, Q fever, rickettsialpox., 5 Psittacosis caused by Chlamydophila psittaci., 6 Infections caused by Chlamydia trachomatis such as uncomplicated urethral, endocervical or rectal infections, inclusion conjunctivitis, trachoma, and lymphogranuloma venereum., 7 Granuloma inquinale caused by Klebsiella granulomatis., 8 Relapsing fever caused by Borrelia sp., 9 Bartonellosis caused by Bartonella bacilliformis ., 10 Chancroid caused by Hemophilus ducreyi ., 11 Tularemia caused by Francisella tularensis., 12 Plaque caused by Yersinia pestis ., 13 Cholera caused by Vibrio cholerae., 14 Brucellosis caused by Brucella species (tetracycline may be used in conjunction with an aminoglycoside)., 15 Infections due to Campylobacter fetus ., 16 As adjunctive therapy in intestinal amebiasis caused by Entamoeba histolytica ., 17 Urinary tract infections caused by susceptible strains of Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, etc., 18 Other infections caused by susceptible gram-negative organisms such as E. coli, Enterobacter aerogenes, Shigellasp., Acinetobacter sp., Klebsiellasp., and Bacteroides sp., 19 In severe acne, adjunctive therapy with tetracycline may be useful.",
"Description": "Tetracycline is a yellow, odorless, crystalline powder. Tetracycline is stable in air but exposure to strong sunlight causes it to darken. Its potency is affected in solutions of pH below 2 and is rapidly destroyed by alkali hydroxide solutions. Tetracycline is very slightly soluble in water, freely soluble in dilute acid and in alkali hydroxide solutions, sparingly soluble in alcohol, and practically insoluble in chloroform and in ether. <IndicationAndUsage>Therapy with lipid-altering agents should be only one component of multiple risk factor intervention in individuals at significantly increased risk for atherosclerotic vascular disease due to hyperlipidemia. Niacin therapy is indicated as an adjunct to diet when the response to a diet restricted in saturated fat and cholesterol and other nonpharmacologic measures alone has been inadequate. Limitations of Use. Addition of niacin extended-release tablets did not reduce cardiovascular morbidity or mortality among patients treated with simvastatin in a large, randomized controlled trial (AIM-HIGH) [see Warnings and Precautions (5.1)].</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>Niacin extended-release tablets USP, contain niacin, USP, which at therapeutic doses is an antihyperlipidemic agent. <IndicationAndUsage>VARITHENA (polidocanol injectable foam) is indicated for the treatment of incompetent great saphenous veins, accessory saphenous veins, and visible varicosities of the great saphenous vein (GSV) system above and below the knee. VARITHENA improves the symptoms of superficial venous incompetence and the appearance of visible varicosities.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>VARITHENA injectable foam contains the sclerosant, polidocanol. It is intended for intravenous use only. Chemically, polidocanol is polyoxyl lauryl ether. The structural formula is represented below. Polidocanol has the molecular formula CH3(CH2)11(OCH2CH2)nOH and a molecular weight of 582.9 when the average ethylene glycol moieties is nine (n=9). Polidocanol is a white to almost white, waxy, hygroscopic solid that is soluble in water and alcohol and melts at temperatures above 20°C. VARITHENA is a sterile, injectable foam of an aqueous polidocanol solution (1%) containing the following inactive ingredients: alcohol (4.2% w/w, purity 96% v/v) disodium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate (0.24% w/w), and potassium dihydrogen phosphate (0.085% w/w) with a pH of 6.0-7.5. The injectable foam is generated after activation of the polidocanol canister with oxygen from a second aluminum canister, resulting in a final gas mixture of oxygen:carbon dioxide in a ratio of 65:35 with low (<0.8%) nitrogen content. At the time of use, VARITHENA is generated as an injectable foam of controlled density and bubble size. The foam is then transferred to a syringe through the VARITHENA transfer unit. The injectable foam has a liquid to gas ratio of approximately 1:7 by volume. The median bubble diameter is less than 100 µm and no bubbles are greater than 500 µm.</Description>

Sacubitril and valsartan tablets reduces NT-proBNP and is expected to improve cardiovascular outcomes. (1.2).</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>Sacubitril and valsartan tablets are combination of a neprilysin inhibitor and an angiotensin II receptor blocker. The film-coat for the 49 mg of sacubitril and 51 mg of valsartan tablet contains iron oxide yellow (E 172).</Description>

<IndicationAndUsage>To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of tetracycline hydrochloride and other antibacterial drugs, tetracycline hydrochloride should be used only to treat infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria. (Tetracyclines are not the drugs of choice in the treatment of any type of staphylococcalinfections.), 4 Infections caused by rickettsia including Rocky Mountain spotted fever, typhus group infections, Q fever, rickettsialpox., 5 Psittacosis caused by Chlamydophila psittaci., 6 Infections caused by Chlamydia trachomatis such as uncomplicated urethral, endocervical or rectal infections, inclusion conjunctivitis, trachoma, and lymphogranuloma venereum., 7 Granuloma inquinale caused by Klebsiella granulomatis., 8 Relapsing fever caused by Borrelia sp., 9 Bartonellosis caused by Bartonella bacilliformis ., 10 Chancroid caused by Hemophilus ducreyi ., 11 Tularemia caused by Francisella tularensis., 12 Plaque caused by Yersinia pestis ., 13 Cholera caused by Vibrio cholerae., 14 Brucellosis caused by Brucella species (tetracycline may be used in conjunction with an aminoglycoside)., 15 Infections due to Campylobacter fetus ., 16 As adjunctive therapy in intestinal amebiasis caused by Entamoeba histolytica ., 17 Urinary tract infections caused by susceptible strains of Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, etc., 18 Other infections caused by susceptible gram-negative organisms such as E. coli, Enterobacter aerogenes, Shigellasp., Acinetobacter sp., Klebsiellasp., and Bacteroides sp., 19 In severe acne, adjunctive therapy with tetracycline may be useful.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>Tetracycline is a yellow, odorless, crystalline powder. The chemical name for tetracycline hydrochloride is 4-(Dimethylamino)-1,4,4a,5,5a,6,11,12a-octahydro-3,6,10,12,-12a-pentahydroxy-6-methyl-1,11-dioxo-2-naphthacenecarboxamide monohydrochloride. Its structural formula is as follows. Each capsule, for oral administration, contains 250 mg or 500 mg tetracycline hydrochloride. Inactive Ingredients: Lactose, light mineral oil, and magnesium stearate. The 250 mg and 500 mg capsule shells contain D&C yellow no. 10, FD&C blue no. 1, FD&C yellow no. 6, gelatin, and titanium dioxide.
