"IndicationAndUsage": "Midodrine hydrochloride tablets are indicated for the treatment of symptomatic orthostatic hypotension (OH). Because midodrine hydrochloride tablets can cause marked elevation of supine blood pressure (BP > 200 mmHg systolic), it should be used in patients whose lives are considerably impaired despite standard clinical care, including non-pharmacologic treatment (such as support stockings), fluid expansion, and lifestyle alterations. The indication is based on midodrine hydrochloride tablets' effect on increases in 1-minute standing systolic blood pressure, a surrogate marker considered likely to correspond to a clinical benefit. At present, however, clinical benefits of midodrine hydrochloride tablets, principally improved ability to perform life activities, have not been established. Further clinical trials are underway to verify and describe the clinical benefits of midodrine hydrochloride tablets. After initiation of treatment, midodrine hydrochloride tablets should be continued only for patients who report significant symptomatic improvement.",

Omeprazole is supplied as delayed-release capsules for oral administration. Each delayed-release capsule contains either 10 mg, 20 mg, or 40 mg of omeprazole in the form of enteric-coated granules. The 10 mg, 20 mg, and 40 mg capsule contains the following inactive ingredients: crospovidone, dibasic sodium phosphate, hypromellose, magnesium hydroxide granules (with corn starch), methacrylicacid and ethyl acrylate copolymer dispersion, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate 80, polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl alcohol-polyethylene glycol graft copolymer, purified water, silicon dioxide, sodium lauryl sulfate, sugar spheres (sucrose, corn starch, and purified water), talc, and titanium dioxide. The capsule shells for the 10 mg, 20 mg, and 40 mg have the following inactive ingredients: gelatin and titanium dioxide. The ink used for printing contains: black iron oxide, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, shellac, and strong ammonia solution. Omeprazole delayed-release capsules meet USP Dissolution Test 2.</Description>

<IndicationAndUsage>Midodrine hydrochloride tablets are indicated for the treatment of symptomatic orthostatic hypotension (OH). After initiation of treatment, midodrine hydrochloride tablets should be continued only for patients who report significant symptomatic improvement.</IndicationAndUsage>

<IndicationAndUsage>Clobetasol Propionate Ointment USP is a super-high potency corticosteroid formulation indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid responsive dermatoses. Treatment beyond 2 consecutive weeks is not recommended, and the total dosage should not exceed 50 g/week because of the potential for the drug to suppress the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis. Use in pediatric patients under 12 years of age is not recommended. As with other highly active corticosteroids, therapy should be discontinued when control has been achieved. If no improvement is seen within 2 weeks, reassessment of the diagnosis may be necessary.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>Clobetasol Propionate Ointment USP contains the active compound clobetasol propionate, a synthetic corticosteroid, for topical dermatologic use. Clobetasol, an analog of prednisolone, has a high degree of glucocorticoid activity and a slight degree of mineralocorticoid activity. Chemically, clobetasol propionate is (11β,16β)-21-chloro-9-fluoro-11-hydroxy-16-methyl-17-(1-oxopropoxy)-pregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione, and it has the following structural formula. Clobetasol propionate USP has the empirical formula C25H32ClFO5 and a molecular weight of 466.97. It is a white to almost white, crystalline powder, practically insoluble in water; slightly soluble in benzene and diethyl ether; sparingly soluble in ethanol; freely soluble in acetone, in dimethylsulfoxide, in chloroform, in methanol and in dioxane.
