"IndicationAndUsage": "Lacosamide is indicated for: 1 Treatment of partial-onset seizures in patients 1 month of age and older (1.1), 2 Adjunctive therapy in the treatment of primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures in patients 4 years of age and older (1.2).",
"Description": "The chemical name of lacosamide, the single (R)-enantiomer, is (R)-2-acetamido-N-benzyl-3-methoxypropionamide (IUPAC). Lacosamide is a functionalized amino acid. Its molecular formula is C13H18N2O3 and its molecular weight is 250.30. The chemical structure is. Lacosamide, USP is a white to light yellow powder. It is sparingly soluble in water and slightly soluble in acetonitrile and ethanol."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Levetiracetam injection is indicated for the treatment of partial-onset seizures in patients 1 month of age and older. (1.1). Levetiracetam injection is indicated for adjunctive therapy for the treatment of:oMyoclonic seizures in patients 12 years of age and older with juvenile myoclonic epilepsy. (1.2)oPrimary generalized tonic-clonic seizures in patients 6 years of age and older with idiopathic generalized epilepsy. (1.3). Levetiracetam injection is for intravenous use only as an alternative for patients when oral administration is temporarily not feasible. (1.4).",
"Description": "Levetiracetam injection, USP is an antiepileptic drug available as a clear, colorless, sterile solution (100 mg/mL) for intravenous administration. The chemical name of levetiracetam, a single enantiomer, is (-)-(S)-α-ethyl-2-oxo-1-pyrrolidine acetamide, its molecular formula is C8H14N2O2 and its molecular weight is 170.21. Levetiracetam is chemically unrelated to existing antiepileptic drugs (AEDs). It has the following structural formula. Levetiracetam is a white to off-white crystalline powder with a faint odor and a bitter taste. It is very soluble in water (104.0 g/100 mL). It is freely soluble in chloroform (65.3 g/100 mL) and in methanol (53.6 g/100 mL), soluble in ethanol (16.5 g/100 mL), sparingly soluble in acetonitrile (5.7 g/100 mL) and practically insoluble in n-hexane. (Solubility limits are expressed as g/100 mL solvent.). Levetiracetam injection contains 100 mg of levetiracetam per mL. It is supplied in single-dose 5 mL vials containing 500 mg levetiracetam, water for injection, 45 mg sodium chloride, and buffered at approximately pH 5.5 with glacial acetic acid and 8.2 mg sodium acetate trihydrate. Levetiracetam injection must be diluted prior to intravenous infusion [see Dosage and Administration (2.6)]."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Albendazole tablets are an anthelmintic drug indicated for: 1 Treatment of parenchymal neurocysticercosis due to active lesions caused by larval forms of the pork tapeworm, Taenia solium . (1.1), 2 Treatment of cystic hydatid disease of the liver, lung, and peritoneum, caused by the larval form of the dog tapeworm, Echinococcus granulosus . (1.2).",
"Description": "Albendazole is an orally administered anthelmintic drug. Chemically, it is methyl 5 - (propylthio)-2-benzimidazolecarbamate. Its molecular formula is C12H15N3O2S. Its molecular weight is 265.34. It has the following chemical structure. Albendazole, USP is a white to faintly yellowish powder. It is freely soluble in anhydrous formic acid, very slightly soluble in ether and in methylene chloride, practically insoluble in alcohol and water. Each film-coated tablet contains albendazole USP, 200 mg and inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, corn starch, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycols, povidone K-30, saccharin sodium, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium starch glycolate type A (botanical source: potato), talc and titanium dioxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Atazanavir capsules are indicated in combination with other antiretroviral agents for the treatment of HIV-1 infection for patients 3 months and older weighing at least 5 kg. Limitations of Use: 1 Atazanavir capsules are not recommended for use in pediatric patients below the age of 3 months due to the risk of kernicterus., 2 Use of atazanavir/ritonavir in treatment-experienced patients should be guided by the number of baseline primary protease inhibitor resistance substitutions [see Microbiology (12.4)] .",
"Description": "The active ingredient in atazanavir capsules is atazanavir sulfate, which is an HIV-1 protease inhibitor. The chemical name for atazanavir sulfate is (3S,8S,9S,12S)-3,12-Bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)-8-hydroxy-4,11-dioxo-9-(phenylmethyl)-6-[[4-(2-pyridinyl)phenyl]methyl]-2,5,6,10,13-pentaazatetradecanedioic acid dimethyl ester, sulfate (1:1). Its molecular formula is C38H52N6O7H2SO4, which corresponds to a molecular weight of 802.93 (sulfuric acid salt). The free base molecular weight is 704.9. Atazanavir sulfate has the following structural formula. Atazanavir sulfate is a white to pale-yellow crystalline powder. It is soluble in methanol and in ethyl alcohol, insoluble in water. Each hard gelatin capsule intended for oral administration contains atazanavir sulfate equivalent to 150 mg or 200 mg or 300 mg of atazanavir containing following inactive ingredients: crospovidone, gelatin, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, talc and titanium dioxide. Additionally, each 150 mg capsule shell contains: FD&C Blue 1, D&C Red 28, FD &C Red 40 and D&C Yellow 10. Each 200 mg capsule shell contains: FD&C Blue 1 and D&C Red 28. Each 300 mg capsule shell contains: FD&C Blue 1, D&C Red 28, iron oxide yellow and iron oxide red. The capsule is imprinted with black pharmaceutical ink and contains following inactive ingredients: black iron oxide, butyl alcohol, dehydrated alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, purified water, shellac and strong ammonia solution."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Oseltamivir Phosphate is an influenza neuraminidase inhibitor (NAI) indicated for: 1 Treatment of acute, uncomplicated influenza A and B in patients 2 weeks of age and older who have been symptomatic for no more than 48 hours. (1.1), 2 Prophylaxis of influenza A and B in patients 1 year and older. (1.2).",
"Description": "Oseltamivir Phosphate for Oral Suspension, an influenza neuraminidase inhibitor (NAI), is available as a powder for oral suspension, which when constituted with water as directed contains 6 mg per mL oseltamivir base. In addition to the active ingredient, the powder for oral suspension contains sorbitol, titanium dioxide, xanthan gum, sodium benzoate, monosodium citrate, tutti-frutti flavoring, and saccharin sodium. Oseltamivir phosphate is a white crystalline solid with the chemical name (3R,4R,5S)-4-acetylamino-5- amino-3(1-ethylpropoxy)-1-cyclohexene-1-carboxylic acid, ethyl ester, phosphate (1:1). The chemical formula is C16H28N2O4 (free base). The molecular weight is 312.4 for oseltamivir free base and 410.4 for oseltamivir phosphate salt. The structural formula is as follows."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Dimethyl fumarate is indicated for the treatment of relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS), to include clinically isolated syndrome, relapsing-remitting disease, and active secondary progressive disease, in adults.",
"Description": "Dimethyl fumarate delayed-release capsules contain dimethyl fumarate which is also known by its chemical name, dimethyl (E) butenedioate, (C6H8O4). It has the following structure. Dimethyl fumarate is a white to off-white powder that is soluble in methanol and slightly soluble in water with a molecular mass of 144.13. Each dimethyl fumarate delayed-release capsule intended for oral administration contains 120 mg or 240 mg dimethyl fumarate respectively and contains the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, ferric oxide red, ferric oxide yellow, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, methacrylic acid copolymer (Type A), methacrylic acid copolymer dispersion (Type C), mono and di-glycerides, povidone, polysorbate 80, sodium lauryl sulphate, talc and triethyl citrate. The capsule shell contains following inactive ingredients: D&C Yellow#10, FD&C Blue#1, FD&C Red#40, gelatin and titanium dioxide. The capsule shell is imprinted with black pharmaceutical ink and contains the following inactive ingredients: black iron oxide, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, shellac and strong ammonia solution."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Tofacitinib tablets are Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitors. Tofacitinib tablets are indicated for the treatment of adult patients with: 1 Moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis (RA),who have had an inadequate response or intolerance to one or more TNF blockers., 2 Active psoriatic arthritis (PsA),who have had an inadequate response or intolerance to one or more TNF blockers., 3 Active ankylosing spondylitis (AS),who have had an inadequate response or intolerance to one or more TNF blockers., 4 Moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis (UC),who have had an inadequate response or intolerance to one or more TNF blockers.",
"Description": "Tofacitinib tablets are formulated with the citrate salt of tofacitinib, a JAK inhibitor. Tofacitinib citrate is a white to off-white powder and soluble in dimethylsulfoxide and. insoluble in water with the following chemical name: (3R,4R)-4-methyl-3-(methyl-7Hpyrrolo [2,3-d]pyrimidin-4-ylamino)-ß-oxo-1-piperidinepropanenitrile, 2-hydroxy-1,2,3- propanetricarboxylate (1:1). The solubility of tofacitinib citrate in water is 2.9 mg/mL. Tofacitinib citrate has a molecular weight of 504.5 Daltons (or 312.4 Daltons as the. tofacitinib free base) and a molecular formula of C16H20N6OC6H8O7. The chemical. structure of tofacitinib citrate is. Each 5 mg and 10 mg film-coated tablet contains tofacitinib equivalent to 8.08 mg and 16.15 mg of tofacitinib citrate respectively for oral administration and contains following inactive ingredients: croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, povidone and titanium dioxide. Additionally, each 10 mg tablet contains FD&C blue #1 Aluminum Lake and iron oxide yellow."

The complex is chemically described as Trisodium [3-((1S,3R)-1-biphenyl-4-yl methyl-3-ethoxycarbonyl-1-butylcarbamoyl)propionate-(S)-3-methyl-2-(pentanoyl{2-(tetrazol-5-ylate)biphenyl-4-ylmethyl} amino)butyrate] trihydrate. Its molecular formula (trihydrate) is C48H55N6O8Na3 3H2O. Its molecular mass is 967 and its schematic structural formula is. Sacubitril and valsartan tablets are available as film-coated tablets for oral administration, containing 24 mg of sacubitril and 26 mg of valsartan; 49 mg of sacubitril and 51 mg of valsartan; and 97 mg of sacubitril and 103 mg of valsartan. Each film-coated tablet contains following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, crospovidone, hypromellose, low substituted hyproxypropylcellulose, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, sodium stearyl fumarate and titanium dioxide. "IndicationAndUsage": "Mesalamine is an aminosalicylate indicated in adults for the treatment of mildly to moderately active ulcerative proctitis.",
"Description": "The active ingredient in Mesalamine suppositories, USP 1000 mg is mesalamine, also known as mesalazine or 5-aminosalicylic acid (5-ASA). Chemically, mesalamine is 5-amino-2-hydroxybenzoic acid, and is classified as an aminosalicylate. Each Mesalamine suppository, USP contains 1000 mg of mesalamine, USP (micronized) in a base of hard fat. Mesalamine, USP (micronized) are light tan to pink colored, needle-shaped crystals. Color may darken on exposure to air. It is odorless or may have a slight characteristic odor. It is slightly soluble in water; very slightly soluble in methanol, in dehydrated alcohol, and in acetone; practically insoluble in n-butyl alcohol, in chloroform, in ether, in ethyl acetate, in n-hexane, in methylene chloride, and in n-propyl alcohol; soluble in dilute hydrochloric acid and in dilute alkali hydroxides. The molecular formula is C7H7NO3, representing a molecular weight of 153.14. The structural formula is."

Each mL of Haloperidol decanoate injection, 50 mg/mL for IM injection contains 50 mg haloperidol (present as haloperidol decanoate, USP 70.52 mg) in a sesame oil vehicle, with 1.2% (w/v) benzyl alcohol as a preservative. "Description": "Ivabradine tablet contains ivabradine as the active pharmaceutical ingredient. Ivabradine is a hyperpolarization-activated cyclic nucleotide-gated channel blocker that reduces the spontaneous pacemaker activity of the cardiac sinus node by selectively inhibiting the If current, resulting in heart rate reduction with no effect on ventricular· repolarization and no effects on myocardial contractility. The chemical name for ivabradine hydrochloride is 3-(3-{[((7S)-3,4-Dimethoxybicyclo[4.2.0]octa-1,3,5-trien-7-yl)methyl] methyl amino} propyl)-1,3,4,5-tetrahydro-7,8-dimethoxy-2H-3-benzazepin-2-one, hydrochloride. The molecular formula is C27H36N2O5, HCl and the molecular weight (free base + HCl) is 505.05 (468.59 + 36.46). The chemical structure of ivabradine is shown in Figure 1. Figure 1. "IndicationAndUsage": "Cisatracurium besylate injection is indicated: 1 as an adjunct to general anesthesia to facilitate tracheal intubation in adults and in pediatric patients 1 month to 12 years of age, 2 to provide skeletal muscle relaxation in adults during surgical procedures or during mechanical ventilation in the ICU, 3 to provide skeletal muscle relaxation during surgical procedures via infusion in pediatric patients 2 years and older.",
"Description": "Cisatracurium besylate injection USP is a nondepolarizing skeletal neuromuscular blocker for intravenous administration. Compared to other neuromuscular blockers, it is intermediate in its onset and duration of action. Cisatracurium besylate USP is one of 10 isomers of atracurium besylate and constitutes approximately 15% of that mixture. Cisatracurium besylate USP is [1R-[1α,2α(1'R*,2'R*)]]-2,2'-[1,5-pentanediylbis[oxy(3-oxo-3,1-propanediyl)]]bis[1-[(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)methyl]-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-6,7-dimethoxy-2-methylisoquinolinium] dibenzenesulfonate. The molecular formula of the cisatracurium parent bis-cation is C53H72N2O12 and the molecular weight is 929.2. The molecular formula of cisatracurium as the besylate salt is C65H82N2O18S2 and the molecular weight is 1243.49. The structural formula of cisatracurium besylate USP is. The log of the partition coefficient of cisatracurium besylate is -2.12 in a 1-octanol/distilled water system at 25°C. Each mL in the single-dose vials contains either 2 mg or 10 mg of cisatracurium (equivalent to 2.68 mg and 13.38 mg of cisatracurium besylate; respectively), and benzenesulfonic acid as pH adjuster in water for injection. The pH of cisatracurium besylate injection, USP is between 3.25 and 3.65."
