"IndicationAndUsage": "Mesalamine extended-release capsules are indicated for the maintenance of remission of ulcerative colitis in adults.",
"Description": "Each mesalamine extended-release capsule is a delayed- and extended-release dosage form for oral administration. Each capsule contains 0.375 g of mesalamine USP (5-aminosalicylic acid, 5-ASA), an aminosalicylate. The structural formula of mesalamine is:. Molecular Weight: 153.14. Molecular Formula: C7H7NO3. Each mesalamine extended-release capsule contains granules composed of mesalamine in a polymer matrix with an enteric coating that dissolves at pH 6 and above. The inactive ingredients of mesalamine extended-release capsules are: anhydrous citric acid, aspartame, colloidal silicon dioxide, edible black ink, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, methacrylic acid copolymer, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, simethicone emulsion ethyl acrylate/methyl methacrylate copolymer nonoxynol 100 dispersion, talc, titanium dioxide, triethyl citrate, vanilla flavor. Each mesalamine extended-release 0.375 g capsule contains 0.56 mg of phenylalanine."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Clopidogrel tablets are a P2Y 12 platelet inhibitor indicated for: : 1 Acute coronary syndrome .",
"Description": "Clopidogrel is a thienopyridine class inhibitor of P2Y 12 ADP platelet receptors. Chemically it is methyl (+)-( S)-α-(2-chlorophenyl)-6,7-dihydrothieno[3,2-c]pyridine-5(4 H)-acetate sulfate (1:1). The empirical formula of clopidogrel bisulfate is C 16 H 16ClNO 2SH 2SO 4 and its molecular weight is 419.9. The structural formula is as follows. Clopidogrel bisulfate is a white to off-white powder. It is practically insoluble in water at neutral pH but freely soluble at pH 1. It also dissolves freely in methanol, dissolves sparingly in methylene chloride, and is practically insoluble in ethyl ether. It has a specific optical rotation of about +56°. Clopidogrel tablets USP for oral administration is provided as either pink colored, round, biconvex, film coated tablets debossed with “CI” on one side and plain on other side containing 97.875 mg of clopidogrel bisulfate which is the molar equivalent of 75 mg of clopidogrel base or pink colored, oval, biconvex, beveled edged, film coated tablets debossed with “CL” on one side and plain on other side containing 391.5 mg of clopidogrel bisulfate which is the molar equivalent of 300 mg of clopidogrel base. Each tablet contains colloidal anhydrous silica, hydrogenated castor oil, low substituted hydroxypropyl cellulose, lactose monohydrate and microcrystalline cellulose as inactive ingredients. The pink film coating contains hydroxy propylmethyl cellulose, iron oxide red, lactose monohydrate, titanium dioxide and triacetin."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Atomoxetine is a selective norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor indicated for the treatment of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). (1.1).",
"Description": "Atomoxetine is a selective norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor. Atomoxetine hydrochloride is the R(-) isomer as determined by x-ray diffraction. The chemical designation is (-)-N-Methyl-3-phenyl-3-(o-tolyloxy)-propylamine hydrochloride. The molecular formula is C17H21NOHCl, which corresponds to a molecular weight of 291.82. The chemical structure is. Atomoxetine hydrochloride is a white to practically white solid, which has a solubility of 27.8 mg/mL in water. Each atomoxetine capsule intended for oral administration contains atomoxetine hydrochloride, USP equivalent to atomoxetine 10 mg or 18 mg or 25 mg or 40 mg or 60 mg or 80 mg or 100 mg. In addition, each capsule contains the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, gelatin, pregelatinized starch, sodium lauryl sulfate and titanium dioxide. Additionally each 18 mg capsule shell contains: iron oxide yellow, each 25 mg and 40 mg capsule shell contains: FD & C blue # 2, each 60 mg capsule shell contains: FD & C blue # 2 and iron oxide yellow and each 80 mg and 100 mg capsule shell contains: iron oxide red and iron oxide yellow. The capsule is printed with black pharmaceutical ink which contains following ingredients: black iron oxide, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol and shellac."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Liraglutide injection is indicated: : 1 as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults and pediatric patients aged 10 years and older with type 2 diabetes mellitus.",
"Description": "Liraglutide injection contains liraglutide, an analog of human GLP-1 and acts as a GLP-1 receptor agonist. The liraglutide is produced by a solid phase synthesis and is 97% homologous to native human GLP-1 by substituting arginine for lysine at position 34 and attaching a C-16 fatty acid (palmitic acid) with a glutamic acid spacer on the remaining lysine residue at position 26. The molecular formula of liraglutide is C172H265N43O51 and the molecular weight is 3751.2 Daltons. The structural formula (Figure 1) is. Figure 1: Structural Formula of Liraglutide. Liraglutide injection is a sterile, aqueous, clear, colorless solution for subcutaneous use. Each 1 mL of liraglutide injection solution contains 6 mg of liraglutide and the following inactive ingredients: disodium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, 1.42 mg; phenol, 5.5 mg; propylene glycol, 14 mg; and water for injection. Liraglutide injection has a pH between 8.0 and 8.4, hydrochloric acid or sodium hydroxide may be added to adjust pH. Each prefilled pen contains a 3 mL solution of liraglutide injection equivalent to 18 mg liraglutide (free-base, anhydrous)."

"IndicationAndUsage": "ADAKVEO® is indicated to reduce the frequency of vaso-occlusive crises (VOCs) in adults and pediatric patients aged 16 years and older with sickle cell disease.",
"Description": "Crizanlizumab-tmca is a P-selectin blocker humanized IgG2 kappa monoclonal antibody that binds to P-selectin. Crizanlizumab-tmca is produced using recombinant DNA technology in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells. It is composed of 2 heavy chains, each containing 448 amino acids, and 2 light chains each containing 218 amino acids, with a theoretical molecular weight of approximately 146 kDa. ADAKVEO (crizanlizumab-tmca) injection is supplied as a sterile, preservative-free, clear to opalescent, colorless to slightly brownish-yellow solution for dilution and subsequent administration by intravenous infusion. Each 10 mL vial contains 100 mg crizanlizumab-tmca, citric acid (5.4 mg), polysorbate 80 (2 mg), sodium citrate (50.5 mg), sucrose (753.3 mg), and water for injection with a pH of 6."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Clopidogrel tablets are a P2Y 12 platelet inhibitor indicated for: : 1 Acute coronary syndrome .",
"Description": "Clopidogrel is a thienopyridine class inhibitor of P2Y 12 ADP platelet receptors. Chemically it is methyl (+)-( S)-α-(2-chlorophenyl)-6,7-dihydrothieno[3,2-c]pyridine-5(4 H)-acetate sulfate (1:1). The empirical formula of clopidogrel bisulfate is C 16 H 16ClNO 2SH 2SO 4 and its molecular weight is 419.9. The structural formula is as follows. Clopidogrel bisulfate is a white to off-white powder. It is practically insoluble in water at neutral pH but freely soluble at pH 1. It also dissolves freely in methanol, dissolves sparingly in methylene chloride, and is practically insoluble in ethyl ether. It has a specific optical rotation of about +56°. Clopidogrel tablets USP for oral administration is provided as either pink colored, round, biconvex, film coated tablets debossed with “CI” on one side and plain on other side containing 97.875 mg of clopidogrel bisulfate which is the molar equivalent of 75 mg of clopidogrel base or pink colored, oval, biconvex, beveled edged, film coated tablets debossed with “CL” on one side and plain on other side containing 391.5 mg of clopidogrel bisulfate which is the molar equivalent of 300 mg of clopidogrel base. Each tablet contains colloidal anhydrous silica, hydrogenated castor oil, low substituted hydroxypropyl cellulose, lactose monohydrate and microcrystalline cellulose as inactive ingredients. The pink film coating contains hydroxy propylmethyl cellulose, iron oxide red, lactose monohydrate, titanium dioxide and triacetin."

Metformin hydrochloride, USP is freely soluble in water and is practically insoluble in acetone, ether, and chloroform. The pKa of metformin is 12.4. The pH of a 1% aqueous solution of metformin hydrochloride, USP is 6.68. Metformin hydrochloride Tablets, USP contains 500 mg, 850 mg, or 1,000 mg of metformin HCl, USP. Each tablet contains the inactive ingredients povidone, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium and magnesium stearate. In addition, the coating for the 500 mg, 850 mg, and 1,000 mg tablets contain polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide, talc, gum acacia, maltodextrin, propylene glycol and natural flavors."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Lisdexamfetamine dimesylate chewable tablets are indicated for the treatment of. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in adults and pediatric patients 6 years and older [see Clinical Studies (14.1)]. Moderate to severe binge eating disorder (BED) in adults [see Clinical Studies (14.2)] . Limitations of Use. The use of lisdexamfetamine dimesylate chewable tablets are not recommended in pediatric patients younger than 6 years of age because they had higher plasma exposure and a higher incidence of adverse reactions (e.g., weight loss) than patients 6 years and older at the same dosage [see Warnings and Precautions (5.5), Use in Specific Populations (8.4)]. Lisdexamfetamine dimesylate chewable tablets are not indicated or recommended for weight loss. Use of other sympathomimetic drugs for weight loss has been associated with serious cardiovascular adverse events. The safety and effectiveness of lisdexamfetamine dimesylate chewable tablets for the treatment of obesity have not been established [see Warnings and Precautions (5.2)] .",
"Description": "Lisdexamfetamine dimesylate chewable tablets, a CNS stimulant, are for once-a-day oral administration. The chemical designation for lisdexamfetamine dimesylate is (2S)-2,6-diamino- N-[(1 S)-1-methyl-2-phenylethyl] hexanamide dimethanesulfonate. The molecular formula is C 15H 25N 3O(CH 4O 3S) 2, which corresponds to a molecular weight of 455.59 g/mol. The chemical structure is:. Lisdexamfetamine dimesylate is a white to off-white powder that is soluble in water (792 mg/mL). Information for lisdexamfetamine dimesylate chewable tablets: Lisdexamfetamine dimesylate chewable tablets contain 10 mg, 20 mg, 30 mg, 40 mg, 50 mg and 60 mg of lisdexamfetamine dimesylate (equivalent to 5.8 mg, 11.6 mg, 17.3 mg, 23.1 mg, 28.9 mg and 34.7 mg of lisdexamfetamine). Inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, guar gum, magnesium stearate, mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, N-C fresh strawberry flavor and sucralose."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Venlafaxine extended-release tablets are a selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) indicated for: 1 Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) (1.1), 2 Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD) (1.2).",
"Description": "Venlafaxine extended-release tablets are extended-release tablets for oral administration that contain venlafaxine hydrochloride, USP a structurally novel antidepressant. Venlafaxine hydrochloride,USP is a selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI). It is designated (R/S)-1-[2-(dimethylamino)-1-(4-methoxyphenyl)ethyl] cyclohexanol hydrochloride or (±)1-[α- [(dimethylamino)methyl]-p-methoxybenzyl] cyclohexanol hydrochloride and has the empirical formula of C17H27NO2 HCl. Its molecular weight is 313.87. The structural formula is shown below. Venlafaxine hydrochloride, USP is a white to off-white crystalline solid with a solubility of 572 mg/mL in water (adjusted to ionic strength of 0.2 M with sodium chloride). Its octanol:water (0.2 M sodium chloride) partition coefficient is 0.43. Venlafaxine extended-release tablets are formulated as extended-release tablet for once-a-day oral administration. Venlafaxine extended-release tablets is a matrix with reservoir drug delivery system. It contains hydrophilic polymers surrounded by an insoluble, but permeable coat. When administer orally, the soluble component of the coat gets dissolved and fluid from the gastrointestinal tract enters in the tablet through the porous coat and hydrates the polymers to swell. Drug gets slowly released from the tablet in to the system by diffusion process and erosion of the polymeric matrix resulting in robust drug release. Tablets contain venlafaxine hydrochloride, USP equivalent to 75 mg, 150 mg and 225 mg venlafaxine. Inactive ingredients consist of colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, hypromellose and microcrystalline cellulose. Imprinting ink contains ammonium hydroxide, black iron oxide, isopropyl alcohol, N-butyl alcohol, propylene glycol and shellac. "Description": "Venlafaxine extended-release tablets are extended-release tablets for oral administration that contain venlafaxine hydrochloride, USP a structurally novel antidepressant. Venlafaxine hydrochloride,USP is a selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI). It is designated (R/S)-1-[2-(dimethylamino)-1-(4-methoxyphenyl)ethyl] cyclohexanol hydrochloride or (±)1-[α- [(dimethylamino)methyl]-p-methoxybenzyl] cyclohexanol hydrochloride and has the empirical formula of C17H27NO2 HCl. Its molecular weight is 313.87. The structural formula is shown below. Venlafaxine hydrochloride, USP is a white to off-white crystalline solid with a solubility of 572 mg/mL in water (adjusted to ionic strength of 0.2 M with sodium chloride). Its octanol:water (0.2 M sodium chloride) partition coefficient is 0.43. Venlafaxine extended-release tablets are formulated as extended-release tablet for once-a-day oral administration. Venlafaxine extended-release tablets is a matrix with reservoir drug delivery system. It contains hydrophilic polymers surrounded by an insoluble, but permeable coat. When administer orally, the soluble component of the coat gets dissolved and fluid from the gastrointestinal tract enters in the tablet through the porous coat and hydrates the polymers to swell. Drug gets slowly released from the tablet in to the system by diffusion process and erosion of the polymeric matrix resulting in robust drug release. Tablets contain venlafaxine hydrochloride, USP equivalent to 75 mg, 150 mg and 225 mg venlafaxine. Inactive ingredients consist of colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, hypromellose and microcrystalline cellulose. Imprinting ink contains ammonium hydroxide, black iron oxide, isopropyl alcohol, N-butyl alcohol, propylene glycol and shellac. Dapagliflozin when used as a component of dapagliflozin and metformin hydrochloride extended-release tablets, is indicated in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus to reduce the risk of: 1 Sustained eGFR decline, end-stage kidney disease, cardiovascular death and hospitalization for heart failure in patients with chronic kidney disease at risk of progression., 2 Cardiovascular death, hospitalization for heart failure and urgent heart failure visit in patients with heart failure., 3 Hospitalization for heart failure in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and either established cardiovascular disease (CVD) or multiple cardiovascular (CV) risk factors.",
"Description": "Dapagliflozin and metformin hydrochloride extended-release tablets contain: dapagliflozin, a SGLT2 inhibitor, and metformin HCl, a biguanide. Dapagliflozin. Dapagliflozin is described chemically as, (2S,3R,4R,5S,6R)-2-(4-chloro-3-(4-ethoxybenzyl)phenyl)-6-(hydroxymethyl) tetrahydro-2H-pyran-3,4,5-triol. The empirical formula is C21H25ClO6 and the formula weight is 408.88. The structural formula is. Metformin hydrochloride. Metformin hydrochloride (N,N-dimethylimidodicarbonimidic diamide hydrochloride) is a white crystalline powder with a molecular formula of C4H11N5HCl and a molecular weight of 165.6. Metformin hydrochloride is freely soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, and is practically insoluble in acetone, and methylene chloride. The pKa of metformin is 12.4. The pH of a 1% aqueous solution of metformin hydrochloride is 6.68. The structural formula is. Dapagliflozin and Metformin Hydrochloride Extended-Release Tablets. Dapagliflozin and metformin hydrochloride extended-release tablets are available for oral administration as tablets containing 5 mg dapagliflozin and 500 mg metformin hydrochloride, 5 mg dapagliflozin and 1000 mg metformin hydrochloride, 10 mg dapagliflozin and 500 mg metformin hydrochloride, or 10 mg dapagliflozin and 1000 mg metformin hydrochloride.
