"IndicationAndUsage": "Omeprazole Delayed-Release Capsules is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) indicated for the: 1 Treatment of active duodenal ulcer in adults (1.1) , 2 Eradication of Helicobacter pylori to reduce the risk of duodenal ulcer recurrence in adults (1.2) , 3 Treatment of active benign gastric ulcer in adults (1.3) , 4 Treatment of symptomatic gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in patients 1 year of age and older (1.4) , 5 Treatment of erosive esophagitis (EE) due to acid-mediated GERD in patients 1 year of age and older (1.5) , 6 Maintenance of healing of EE due to acid-mediated GERD in patients 1 year of age and older (1.6) , 7 Pathologic hypersecretory conditions in adults (1.7) .",
"Description": "The active ingredient in Omeprazole Delayed-Release Capsules is a substituted benzimidazole, 5-methoxy-2-[[(4-methoxy-3, 5-dimethyl-2-pyridinyl) methyl] sulfinyl]-1 H-benzimidazole, a compound that inhibits gastric acid secretion. Its empirical formula is C 17H 19N 3O 3S, with a molecular weight of 345.42. The structural formula is:. Omeprazole is a white to off-white crystalline powder that melts with decomposition at about 155°C. It is a weak base, freely soluble in ethanol and methanol, and slightly soluble in acetone and isopropanol and very slightly soluble in water. The stability of omeprazole is a function of pH; it is rapidly degraded in acid media, but has acceptable stability under alkaline conditions. Omeprazole Delayed-Release Capsules meet USP Dissolution Test 2. Omeprazole Delayed-Release Capsules is supplied as delayed-release capsules for oral administration. Each delayed-release capsule contains either 10 mg, 20 mg, or 40 mg of omeprazole in the form of enteric-coated microtablets with the following inactive ingredients: crospovidone, glyceryl dibehenate, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, methacrylic acid copolymer dispersion, silicon dioxide, talc, titanium dioxide and triethyl citrate. In addition, the capsule shells contain gelatin and may contain sodium lauryl sulfate. In addition, the 20 mg and 40 mg capsule shells also contain yellow iron oxide. The imprinting ink also contains ammonium hydroxide, butyl alcohol, black iron oxide, isopropyl alcohol, propylene glycol and shellac glaze. The ink may also contain dehydrated alcohol."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Dapagliflozin and metformin hydrochloride extended-release tablets are a combination of dapagliflozin and metformin hydrochloride (HCl) extended-release, indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Dapagliflozin, when used as a component of dapagliflozin and metformin hydrochloride extended-release tablets, is indicated in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus to reduce the risk of. Sustained eGFR decline, end-stage kidney disease, cardiovascular death, and hospitalization for heart failure in patients with chronic kidney disease at risk of progression. Cardiovascular death, hospitalization for heart failure, and urgent heart failure visit in patients with heart failure. Hospitalization for heart failure in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and either established cardiovascular disease (CVD) or multiple cardiovascular (CV) risk factors. Limitations of Use. Dapagliflozin and metformin hydrochloride extended-release tablets are not recommended for use to improve glycemic control in patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus [see Warnings and Precautions (5.2)]. Because of the metformin HCl component, the use of dapagliflozin and metformin hydrochloride extended-release tablets is limited to patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus for all indications. Dapagliflozin and metformin hydrochloride extended-release tablets are not recommended for the treatment of chronic kidney disease in patients with polycystic kidney disease or patients requiring or with a recent history of immunosuppressive therapy for kidney disease. Dapagliflozin and metformin hydrochloride extended-release tablets are not expected to be effective in these populations. Pediatric use information is approved for AstraZeneca AB’s Xigduo® XR (dapagliflozin and metformin hydrochloride) Extended-Release Tablets. "Description": "Dapagliflozin and metformin hydrochloride extended-release tablets contain: dapagliflozin, a SGLT2 inhibitor, and metformin HCl, a biguanide. DapagliflozinDapagliflozin is described chemically as (2S,3R,4R,5S,6R)-2-(4-Chloro-3-(4-ethoxybenzyl)phenyl)-6-(hydroxymethyl) tetrahydro-2H-pyran-3,4,5-triol. The empirical formula is C21H25ClO6 and the formula weight is 408.87. The structural formula is. Metformin HClMetformin HCl (N,N-dimethylimidodicarbonimidic diamide HCl) is a white to off-white crystalline compound with a molecular formula of C4H11N5HCl and a molecular weight of 165.63. Metformin HCl is freely soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, and is practically insoluble in acetone, ether, and chloroform. The pKa of metformin is 12.4. "Description": "Orphenadrine citrate is the citrate salt of orphenadrine. It occurs as a white, crystalline powder having a bitter taste. It is practically odorless; sparingly soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol. The chemical name of orphenadrine citrate is (±) -N,N-Dimethyl-2-[( o-methyl-α-phenylbenzyl)oxy]ethylamine citrate (1:1) having molecular formula C 18H 23NOC 6H 8O 7and molecular weight of 461.51. It has the following structural formula:. Each tablet for oral administration contains 100 mg orphenadrine citrate. Each Orphenadrine citrate extended- release tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, lactose monohydrate and magnesium stearate."

Acetaminophen, 4'-hydroxyacetanilide, a slightly bitter, white, odorless, crystalline powder, is a non-opiate, non-salicylate analgesic and antipyretic. It has the following structural formula. Each Hydrocodone Bitartrate and Acetaminophen Tablet USP contains. "IndicationAndUsage": "SedativeAnticonvulsant – For the treatment of generalized and partial seizures.",
"Description": "The barbiturates are nonselective central nervous system (CNS) depressants that are primarily used as sedative-hypnotics. In subhypnotic doses, they are also used as anticonvulsants. The barbiturates and their sodium salts are subject to control under the Federal Controlled Substances Act. Phenobarbital is a barbituric acid derivative and occurs as white, odorless, small crystals or crystalline powder that is very slightly soluble in water; soluble in alcohol, in ether, and in solutions of fixed alkali hydroxides and carbonates; sparingly soluble in chloroform. Phenobarbital is 5-ethyl-5-phenylbarbituric acid. Phenobarbital is a substituted pyrimidine derivative in which the basic structure is barbituric acid, a substance that has no CNS activity. CNS activity is obtained by substituting alkyl, alkenyl, or aryl groups on the pyrimidine ring. It has the following structural formula:. Each phenobarbital tablet contains 15 mg, 16.2 mg (1/4 grain), 30 mg, 32.4 mg (1/2 grain), 60 mg, 64.8 mg (1 grain) 97.2 mg (11/2 grain), or 100 mg of phenobarbital. In addition, each tablet contains: colloidal silicon dioxide, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose and sodium starch glycolate."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Gabapentin capsules are indicated for the management of postherpetic neuralgia in adults.",
"Description": "Gabapentin capsules, USP are supplied as imprinted hard shell capsules containing 100 mg, 300 mg, and 400 mg of gabapentin. Each capsule contains the following inactive ingredients: corn starch and talc. The empty hard gelatin capsule shell consists of gelatin, titanium dioxide, and sodium lauryl sulfate. In addition 300 mg also contains yellow iron oxide and 400 mg also contains yellow iron oxide and red iron oxide. The capsules are printed with edible ink containing black iron oxide and shellac. Gabapentin is described as 1-(aminomethyl)cyclohexaneacetic acid with a molecular formula of C. 9. H. 17. NO. 2. and a molecular weight of 171.24. The structural formula of gabapentin is. Gabapentin is a white to off-white crystalline solid with a pK. a1. of 3.7 and a pK. a2. of 10.7. It is freely soluble in water and both basic and acidic aqueous solutions. The log of the partition coefficient (n-octanol/0.05M phosphate buffer) at pH 7.4 is –1.25."

"Description": "Prednisone Tablets, USP are available for oral administration containing 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg and 50 mg of prednisone, USP. Each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium starch glycolate. Prednisone Tablets, USP contain prednisone which is a glucocorticoid. Glucocorticoids are adrenocortical steroids, both naturally occurring and synthetic, which are readily absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. The chemical name for prednisone is pregna-1,4-diene-3,11,20-trione, 17,21-dihydroxy-. The structural formula is represented below. Molecular Formula: C21H26O5. Molecular Weight: 358.44. Prednisone is a white or almost white crystalline powder. It is slightly soluble in acetone, ethanol, ethylacetate and methanol."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Linagliptin and metformin hydrochloride tablets are indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.Limitations of Use Linagliptin and metformin hydrochloride tablets are not recommended in patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus. Linagliptin and metformin hydrochloride tablets have not been studied in patients with a history of pancreatitis. It is unknown whether patients with a history of pancreatitis are at an increased risk for the development of pancreatitis while using linagliptin and metformin hydrochloride tablets [see Warnings and Precautions (5.2)].",
"Description": "Linagliptin and metformin hydrochloride tablets for oral use contain: linagliptin and metformin hydrochloride.Linagliptin Linagliptin is an inhibitor of the dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) enzyme. The chemical name of linagliptin is 1H-Purine-2,6-dione, 8-[(3R)-3-amino-1-piperidinyl]-7-(2-butyn-1-yl)-3,7-dihydro-3-methyl-1-[(4-methyl-2-quinazolinyl)methyl]- The molecular formula is C25H28N8O2 and the molecular weight is 472.54 g/mol. The structural formula is. Linagliptin is a white to yellowish, not or only slightly hygroscopic solid substance. It is very slightly soluble in water (0.9 mg/mL). Linagliptin is soluble in methanol (ca. 60 mg/mL), sparingly soluble in ethanol (ca. 10 mg/mL), very slightly soluble in isopropanol (<1 mg/mL), and very slightly soluble in acetone (ca.1 mg/mL). Metformin Hydrochloride Metformin hydrochloride (N,N-dimethylimidodicarbonimidic diamide hydrochloride) is a biguanide. Metformin hydrochloride is a white to off-white crystalline compound with a molecular formula of C4H11N5HCl and a molecular weight of 165.63 g/mol. Metformin hydrochloride is freely soluble in water and is practically insoluble in acetone, ether, and chloroform. The pKa of metformin is 12.4. The pH of a 1% aqueous solution of metformin hydrochloride is 6.68. The structural formula is. Linagliptin and Metformin Hydrochloride Tablets. Linagliptin and metformin hydrochloride tablets are available for oral administration as tablets containing: 2.5 mg linagliptin and 500 mg metformin hydrochloride (equivalent to 389.93 mg of metformin) 2.5 mg linagliptin and 850 mg metformin hydrochloride (equivalent 662.88 mg of metformin) 2.5 mg linagliptin and 1,000 mg metformin hydrochloride (equivalent to 779.86 mg of metformin) Each film-coated tablet of linagliptin and metformin hydrochloride tablets contains the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, copovidone, corn starch, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, meglumine, povidone, propylene glycol, titanium dioxide, talc, yellow iron oxide (2.5 mg/500 mg; 2.5 mg/850 mg) and/or red iron oxide (2.5 mg/850 mg; 2.5 mg/1,000 mg)."

"Description": "The topical corticosteroids constitute a class of primarily synthetic steroids used as anti-inflammatory and antipruritic agents. Each gram of Amcinonide Ointment USP, 0.1% contains 1 mg of the active steroid amcinonide in a specially formulated base composed of Benzyl Alcohol 2%, (wt/wt) as preservative, White Petrolatum, USP, Emulsifying Wax, and Antioxidant Blend (Propylene Glycol, Butylated Hydroxyanisole, Propyl Gallate and Citric Acid). Chemically, amcinonide is. Pregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione,21-(acetyloxy)-16,17-[cyclopentylidenebis(oxy)]-9-fluoro-11-hydroxy-, (11β, 16α)."

The molecular formula of gabapentin is C9H17NO2 and the molecular weight is 171.24. The structural formula of gabapentin is. Gabapentin, USP is a white to off-white crystalline solid with a pKa1 of 4.72±0.10 and a pKa2 of 10.27±0.29. It is freely soluble in water and both basic and acidic aqueous solutions. The log of the partition coefficient is -1.083±0.235 at 25°C temperature. Each gabapentin capsule contains 100 mg, 300 mg or 400 mg of gabapentin, USP and the following inactive ingredients: pregelatinized starch (maize), and talc. The 100 mg capsule shell contains gelatin, sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) and titanium dioxide. The 300 mg capsule shell contains gelatin, titanium dioxide, FD&C Red 40, D&C Yellow 10, and sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS). The 400mg capsule shell contains gelatin, titanium dioxide, sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), D&C Yellow 10, and FD&C Red 40. The imprinting ink contains shellac, dehydrated alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, butyl alcohol, propylene glycol, strong ammonia solution, black iron oxide, and potassium hydroxide. Each gabapentin tablet contains 600 mg or 800 mg of gabapentin, USP and the following inactive ingredients: poloxamer 407, mannitol, magnesium stearate, hydroxypropyl cellulose, talc, copovidone, crospovidone, colloidal silicon dioxide and opadry white (03F180003). Opadry white (03F180003) contains hypromellose, titanium dioxide, polyethylene glycol and talc."
