"Description": "Meloxicam tablets USP are a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Each tablet contains 7.5 mg or 15 mg meloxicam for oral administration. Meloxicam is chemically designated as 4-Hydroxy-2-methyl-N-(5-methylthiazol-2-yl)-2H-1,2-benzothiazine-3-carboxamide-1,1-dioxide. The molecular weight is 351.4. Its empirical formula is C14H13N3O4S2 and it has the following structural formula. Meloxicam is a pale yellow powder, practically insoluble in water, soluble in dimethylformamide, very slightly soluble in ethanol. Meloxicam has an apparent partition coefficient (log P)app = 0.1 in n-octanol/buffer pH 7.4. Meloxicam has pKa values of 1.1 and 4.2. Meloxicam is available as a tablet for oral administration containing 7.5 mg or 15 mg meloxicam. The inactive ingredients in meloxicam tablets USP include colloidal silicon dioxide, crospovidone, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose and sodium citrate dihydrate."

"IndicationAndUsage": "DUOPA® is indicated for the treatment of motor fluctuations in patients with advanced Parkinson’s disease.",
"Description": "DUOPA is a combination of carbidopa, an inhibitor of aromatic amino acid decarboxylation, and levodopa, an aromatic amino acid. Carbidopa is a white, crystalline compound, slightly soluble in water, with a molecular weight of 244.2. It is designated chemically as (2S)-3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-2-hydrazino-2-methylpropanoic acid monohydrate. Its empirical formula is C10H14N2O4H2O, and its structural formula is:. The content of carbidopa in DUOPA is expressed in terms of anhydrous carbidopa which has a molecular weight of 226.3. The 4.63 mg/mL of anhydrous carbidopa is equivalent to 5.0 mg/mL of carbidopa. Levodopa is a white, crystalline compound, slightly soluble in water, with a molecular weight of 197.2. It is designated chemically as (2S)-2-Amino-3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl) propanoic acid. Its empirical formula is C9H11NO4, and its structural formula is:. The inactive ingredients in DUOPA are carmellose sodium and purified water."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Carbidopa, levodopa and entacapone tablets are indicated for the treatment of Parkinson's disease. Carbidopa, levodopa and entacapone tablets can be used: 1 To substitute (with equivalent strengths of each of the three components) carbidopa/levodopa and entacapone previously administered as individual products., 2 To replace carbidopa/levodopa therapy (without entacapone) when patients experience the signs and symptoms of end-of-dose “wearing-off” and when they have been taking a total daily dose of levodopa of 600 mg or less and have not been experiencing dyskinesias. .",

Carbidopa, levodopa and entacapone tablets are supplied as tablets in 6 strengths. Carbidopa, levodopa and entacapone tablets: 12.5 mg of carbidopa, 50 mg of levodopa and 200 mg of entacapone. Carbidopa, levodopa and entacapone tablets: 18.75 mg of carbidopa, 75 mg of levodopa and 200 mg of entacapone. Carbidopa, levodopa and entacapone tablets: 25 mg of carbidopa, 100 mg of levodopa and 200 mg of entacapone. Carbidopa, levodopa and entacapone tablets: 31.25 mg of carbidopa, 125 mg of levodopa and 200 mg of entacapone. Carbidopa, levodopa and entacapone tablets: 37.5 mg of carbidopa, 150 mg of levodopa and 200 mg of entacapone. Carbidopa, levodopa and entacapone tablets: 50 mg of carbidopa, 200 mg of levodopa and 200 mg of entacapone. Inactive Ingredients: corn starch, croscarmellose sodium, glycerol 85%, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, mannitol, polysorbate 80, povidone, sucrose, red iron oxide, and titanium dioxide. Tablets containing 12.5 mg of carbidopa, 50 mg of levodopa and 200 mg of entacapone, tablets containing 25 mg of carbidopa, 100 mg of levodopa and 200 mg of entacapone, and tablets containing 37.5 mg of carbidopa, 150 mg of levodopa and 200 mg of entacapone also contain yellow iron oxide."
