"IndicationAndUsage": "AMJEVITA is a tumor necrosis factor (TNF) blocker indicated for: : 1 Reducing signs and symptoms, inducing major clinical response, inhibiting the progression of structural damage, and improving physical function in adult patients with moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis. (1.1), 2 Reducing signs and symptoms of moderately to severely active polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis in patients 2 years of age and older. (1.2), 3 Reducing signs and symptoms, inhibiting the progression of structural damage, and improving physical function in adult patients with active psoriatic arthritis. (1.3), 4 Reducing signs and symptoms in adult patients with active ankylosing spondylitis. (1.4), 5 Treatment of moderately to severely active Crohn's disease in adults and pediatric patients 6 years of age and older. (1.5), 6 Treatment of moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis in adult patients. (1.6)Limitations of Use: Effectiveness has not been established in patients who have lost response to or were intolerant to TNF blockers., 7 Treatment of adult patients with moderate to severe chronic plaque psoriasis who are candidates for systemic therapy or phototherapy, and when other systemic therapies are medically less appropriate. (1.7), 8 Treatment of moderate to severe hidradenitis suppurativa in patients 12 years of age and older. (1.8), 9 Treatment of non-infectious intermediate, posterior, and panuveitis in adults and pediatric patients 2 years of age and older. (1.9).",
"Description": "Adalimumab-atto is a tumor necrosis factor blocker. Adalimumab-atto is a recombinant human IgG1 monoclonal antibody with human derived heavy and light chain variable regions and human IgG1:k constant regions. Adalimumab-atto is produced by recombinant DNA technology in a mammalian cell (Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO)) expression system and is purified by a process that includes specific viral inactivation and removal steps. It consists of 1330 amino acids and has a molecular weight of approximately 148 kilodaltons. AMJEVITA® (adalimumab-atto) injection is supplied as a sterile, preservative-free solution for subcutaneous administration. The drug product is supplied as either a single-dose, prefilled SureClick autoinjector, or as a single-dose, 1 mL prefilled glass syringe. Enclosed within the autoinjector is a single-dose, 1 mL prefilled glass syringe. The solution of AMJEVITA is clear, colorless to slightly yellow, with a pH of about 5.2. Each 80 mg/0.8 mL prefilled syringe or prefilled autoinjector delivers 0.8 mL (80 mg) of drug product. Each 0.8 mL of AMJEVITA is formulated with L-lactic acid (1.7 mg), polysorbate 80 (0.8 mg), sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment, sucrose (67 mg), and Water for Injection, USP, pH 5.2. Each 40 mg/0.8 mL prefilled syringe or prefilled autoinjector delivers 0.8 mL (40 mg) of drug product. Each 0.8 mL of AMJEVITA is formulated with glacial acetic acid (0.48 mg), polysorbate 80 (0.8 mg), sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment, sucrose (72 mg), and Water for Injection, USP, pH 5.2. Each 40 mg/0.4 mL prefilled syringe or prefilled autoinjector delivers 0.4 mL (40 mg) of drug product. Each 0.4 mL of AMJEVITA is formulated with L-lactic acid (0.9 mg), polysorbate 80 (0.4 mg), sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment, sucrose (34 mg), and Water for Injection, USP, pH 5.2. Each 20 mg/0.4 mL prefilled syringe delivers 0.4 mL (20 mg) of drug product. Each 0.4 mL of AMJEVITA is formulated with glacial acetic acid (0.24 mg), polysorbate 80 (0.4 mg), sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment, sucrose (36 mg), and Water for Injection, USP, pH 5.2. Each 20 mg/0.2 mL prefilled syringe delivers 0.2 mL (20 mg) of drug product. "IndicationAndUsage": "Aripiprazole oral tablets are indicated for the treatment of: 1 Schizophrenia [see Clinical Studies (14.1)] , 2 Treatment of Tourette’s Disorder .",
"Description": "Aripiprazole is a psychotropic drug that is available as aripiprazole tablets. Aripiprazole tablets, USP are chemically designated as 7-[4-[4-(2,3-Dichlorophenyl)-1-piperazinyl]butoxy]-3,4-dihydro-2(1H)-quinolinone. The molecular formula is C23H27Cl2N3O2, and molecular weight is 448.39. The chemical structure is as follows. Aripiprazole tablets, USP are available in 2 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, 15 mg, 20 mg, and 30 mg strengths. Inactive ingredients include corn starch, FD&C Blue #2/Indigo Carmine Al, ferric oxide red, ferric oxide yellow, hydroxypropyl cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate and microcrystalline cellulose. FDA approved dissolution test specifications differ from USP."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Doxycycline hyclate delayed-release tablets are a tetracycline-class drug indicated for: Rickettsial infections (1.1) Sexually transmitted infections (1.2) Respiratory tract infections (1.3) Specific bacterial infections (1.4) Ophthalmic infections (1.5) Anthrax, including inhalational anthrax (post-exposure) (1.6) Alternative treatment for selected infections when penicillin is contraindicated (1.7) Adjunctive therapy in acute intestinal amebiasis and severe acne (1.8) Prophylaxis of malaria (1.9). UsageTo reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of doxycycline hyclate and other antibacterial drugs, doxycycline hyclate delayed-release tablets, should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by bacteria. (1.10).",
"Description": "Doxycycline hyclate delayed-release tablets, USP, contain specially coated pellets of doxycycline hyclate, a tetracycline class drug synthetically derived from oxytetracycline, in a delayed-release formulation for oral administration. The structural formula for doxycycline hyclate is. with a molecular formula of C22H24N2O8, HCl, ½ C2H6O, ½ H2O and a molecular weight of 512.9. The chemical name for doxycycline hyclate is [4S(4aR,5S,5aR,6R,12aS)]-4-(dimethylamino)-1,4,4a,5,5a,6,11,12a-octahydro-3,5,10,12,12a-pentahydroxy-6-methyl-1,11-deoxonaphthacene-2-carboxamide monohydrochloride, compound with ethyl alcohol (2:1), monohydrate. Doxycycline hyclate is a yellow crystalline powder soluble in water and in solutions of alkali hydroxides and carbonates. Doxycycline has a high degree of lipid solubility and a low affinity for calcium binding. It is highly stable in normal human serum. Doxycycline will not degrade into an epianhydro form. Each tablet contains doxycycline 75 mg, 100 mg, 150 mg or 200 mg (equivalent to doxycycline hyclate 86.6 mg, 115.4 mg, 173.1 mg or 230.8 mg). Inactive ingredients in the tablet formulation are: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose; sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium chloride, hypromellose phthalate, hypromellose, triethyl citrate, anhydrous lactose, crospovidone, stearic acid, magnesium stearate. The tablets also contain opadry 03K29121 clear, which contains: hypromellose and triacetin. Each doxycycline hyclate delayed-release tablets 75 mg tablet contains 4.8 mg (0.208 mEq) of sodium, each doxycycline hyclate delayed-release tablets 100 mg tablet contains 6.4 mg (0.278 mEq) of sodium, each doxycycline hyclate delayed-release tablets 150 mg tablet contains 9.6 mg (0.417 mEq) of sodium, and each doxycycline hyclate delayed-release tablets 200 mg tablet contains 12.8 mg (0.556 mEq) of sodium. "IndicationAndUsage": "Pravastatin sodium tablets is indicated: To reduce the risk of myocardial infarction, myocardial revascularization procedures, and cardiovascular mortality in adults with elevated low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) without clinically evident coronary heart disease (CHD). To reduce the risk of coronary death, myocardial infarction, myocardial revascularization procedures, stroke or transient ischemic attack, and slow the progression of coronary atherosclerosis in adults with clinically evident CHD. As an adjunct to diet to reduce LDL-C in adults with primary hyperlipidemia. As an adjunct to diet to reduce LDL-C in pediatric patients ages 8 years and older with heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HeFH). As an adjunct to diet for the treatment of adults with: o Primary dysbetalipoproteinemia. o Hypertriglyceridemia.",
"Description": "Pravastatin sodium tablets is a statin, an inhibitor of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl- coenzyme A (HMG-CoA) reductase. Pravastatin sodium is designated chemically as 1-Naphthalene-heptanoic acid, 1,2,6,7,8,8a-hexahydro-β,δ,6-trihydroxy-2-methyl-8-(2-methyl-1-oxobutoxy)-, monosodium salt, [1S-[1α(βS*,δS*),2α,6α,8β(R*),8aα]]-. Structural formula. Pravastatin sodium is an odorless, white to off-white, fine or crystalline powder. It is a relatively polar hydrophilic compound with a partition coefficient (octanol/water) of 0.59 at a pH of 7. It is soluble in methanol and water (>300 mg/mL), slightly soluble in isopropanol, and practically insoluble in acetone, acetonitrile, chloroform, and ether. Pravastatin sodium tablets for oral use contain 10 mg, 20 mg, 40 mg, and 80 mg pravastatin sodium, which is equivalent to 9.46, 18.97, 37.94 and 75.88 mg of pravastatin, respectively. Inactive ingredients include: colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, dehydrated alcohol, dibasic sodium phosphate anhydrous, ferric oxide brown, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, and sodium lauryl sulfate."

"IndicationAndUsage": "AllerNaze is indicated for the treatment of the nasal symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis in adults and children 12 years of age or older.",
"Description": "Triamcinolone acetonide, the active ingredient of AllerNaze, is a corticosteroid with the chemical name, 9α-Fluoro-11β,16α, 17, 21-tetrahydroxypregna-1,4-diene-3, 20-dione cyclic 16, 17-acetal with acetone (C24 H31 FO6 ). Its structural formula is. Triamcinolone acetonide, USP, is a white crystalline powder, with a molecular weight of 434.51. It is practically insoluble in water, and sparingly soluble in dehydrated alcohol, in chloroform and in methanol. It has a melting point temperature range between 292° and 294°C. AllerNaze is a metered-dose manual spray pump in an amber polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle with 0.05% w/v triamcinolone acetonide in a solution containing citric acid, edetate disodium, polyethylene glycol 3350, propylene glycol, purified water, sodium citrate, and 0.01% benzalkonium chloride as a preservative. AllerNaze pH is 5.3. After initial priming (three sprays) of the AllerNaze metered pump delivery system, each spray will deliver 50 mcg of triamcinolone acetonide. If the pump was not used for more than 14 days, reprime with 3 sprays or until a fine mist is observed. Each 15 mL bottle contains 7.5 mg of triamcinolone acetonide to deliver 120 metered sprays. After 120 sprays, the amount of triamcinolone acetonide delivered per spray may not be consistent and the bottle should be discarded."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Predialysis Patients. Rocaltrol is indicated in the management of secondary hyperparathyroidism and resultant metabolic bone disease in patients with moderate to severe chronic renal failure (Ccr 15 to 55 mL/min) not yet on dialysis. In children, the creatinine clearance value must be corrected for a surface area of 1.73 square meters. A serum iPTH level of ≥ 100 pg/mL is strongly suggestive of secondary hyperparathyroidism. Dialysis Patients. Rocaltrol is indicated in the management of hypocalcemia and the resultant metabolic bone disease in patients undergoing chronic renal dialysis. In these patients, Rocaltrol administration enhances calcium absorption, reduces serum alkaline phosphatase levels, and may reduce elevated parathyroid hormone levels and the histological manifestations of osteitis fibrosa cystica and defective mineralization. Hypoparathyroidism Patients. Rocaltrol is also indicated in the management of hypocalcemia and its clinical manifestations in patients with postsurgical hypoparathyroidism, idiopathic hypoparathyroidism, and pseudohypoparathyroidism.",
"Description": "Rocaltrol (calcitriol) is a synthetic vitamin D analog which is active in the regulation of the absorption of calcium from the gastrointestinal tract and its utilization in the body. Rocaltrol is available as capsules containing 0.25 mcg or 0.5 mcg calcitriol and as an oral solution containing 1 mcg/mL of calcitriol. All dosage forms contain butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) and butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) as antioxidants. The capsules contain a fractionated triglyceride of coconut oil, and the oral solution contains a fractionated triglyceride of palm seed oil. Gelatin capsule shells contain glycerin, and sorbitol, with the following dye systems: 0.25 mcg - FD&C Yellow No. 6 and titanium dioxide; 0.5 mcg - FD&C Red No. 3, FD&C Yellow No. 6 and titanium dioxide. The oral solution contains no additional adjuvants or coloring principles. Calcitriol is a white, crystalline compound which occurs naturally in humans. It has a calculated molecular weight of 416.65 and is soluble in organic solvents but relatively insoluble in water. Chemically, calcitriol is 9,10-seco(5Z,7E)-5,7,10(19)-cholestatriene-1α, 3β, 25-triol and has the following structural formula. The other names frequently used for calcitriol are 1α,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol, 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3, 1,25-DHCC, 1,25(OH)2D3 and 1,25-diOHC. CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY. Man's natural supply of vitamin D depends mainly on exposure to the ultraviolet rays of the sun for conversion of 7-dehydrocholesterol in the skin to vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol). Vitamin D3 must be metabolically activated in the liver and the kidney before it is fully active as a regulator of calcium and phosphorus metabolism at target tissues. The initial transformation of vitamin D3 is catalyzed by a vitamin D3-25-hydroxylase enzyme (25-OHase) present in the liver, and the product of this reaction is 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 [25-(OH) D3]. Hydroxylation of 25-(OH) D3 occurs in the mitochondria of kidney tissue, activated by the renal 25-hydroxyvitamin D3-1 alpha-hydroxylase (alpha-OHase), to produce 1,25-(OH)2D3 (calcitriol), the active form of vitamin D3. Endogenous synthesis and catabolism of calcitriol, as well as physiological control mechanisms affecting these processes, play a critical role regulating the serum level of calcitriol. Physiological daily production is normally 0.5 to 1.0 mcg and is somewhat higher during periods of increased bone synthesis (e.g., growth or pregnancy)."

"Description": "Captopril tablets, USP are a specific competitive inhibitor of angiotensin I-converting enzyme (ACE), the enzyme responsible for the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II. Captopril is designated chemically as 1-((2S)-3-mercapto-2-methylpropionyl)-L-proline (MW 217.29) and has the following structural formula. C9H15NO3S. Captopril is a white to off-white crystalline powder that may have a slight sulfurous odor; it is soluble in water (approx. 160 mg/mL), methanol, and ethanol and sparingly soluble in chloroform and ethyl acetate. Each tablet for oral administration contains 12.5 mg, 25 mg, 50 mg and 100 mg of Captopril. In addition, each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide NF, croscarmellose sodium NF, lactose monohydrate NF, magnesium stearate NF and microcrystalline cellulose NF."

"Description": "Celecoxib capsule is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, available as capsules containing 50 mg, 100 mg, 200 mg and 400 mg celecoxib for oral administration. The chemical name is 4-[5-(4-methylphenyl)- 3-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl] benzenesulfonamide and is a diaryl-substituted pyrazole. The molecular weight is 381.38. Its molecular formula is C 17H 14F 3N 3O 2S, and it has the following chemical structure:. Celecoxib USP is a white or almost white crystalline powder with a pKa of 11.1 (sulfonamide moiety). Celecoxib USP is hydrophobic (log P is 3.5) and is soluble in ethanol and in methylene chloride, practically insoluble in water. The inactive ingredients in celecoxib capsules include: croscarmellose sodium, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, povidone and sodium lauryl sulfate. The empty hard gelatin capsule shell contains gelatin and titanium dioxide. The capsules are printed with ink containing black iron oxide, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol and shellac."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Demeclocycline hydrochloride tablets USP is indicated in the treatment of infections caused by susceptible strains of the designated microorganisms in the conditions below. Rocky Mountain spotted fever, typhus fever and the typhus group, Q fever, rickettsialpox, and tick fevers caused by rickettsiae; Respiratory tract infections caused by Mycoplasma pneumoniae; Lymphogranuloma venereum due to Chlamydia trachomatis; Psittacosis (Ornithosis) due to Chlamydia psittaci; Trachoma due to Chlamydia trachomatis, although the infectious agent is not always eliminated, as judged by immunofluorescence; Inclusion conjunctivitis caused by Chlamydia trachomatis; Nongonococcal urethritis in adults caused by Ureaplasma urealyticum or Chlamydia trachomatis; Relapsing fever due to Borrelia recurrentis;Chancroid caused by Haemophilus ducreyi;. Plague due to Yersinia pestis;. Tularemia due to Francisella tularensis;. Cholera caused by Vibrio cholerae;. Campylobacter fetus infections caused by Campylobacter fetus;. Demeclocycline hydrochloride tablets USP is indicated for treatment of infections caused by the following gram-positive microorganisms, when bacteriologic testing indicates appropriate susceptibility to the drug. Upper respiratory infections caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae;. Skin and skin structure infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus.
