"IndicationAndUsage": "OTEZLA/OTEZLA XR, an inhibitor of phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4), is indicated for the treatment of. Adult patients with: 1 Active psoriatic arthritis (1.1), 2 Plaque psoriasis who are candidates for phototherapy or systemic therapy (1.2), 3 Oral ulcers associated with Behçet's Disease (1.3).",
"Description": "The active ingredient in OTEZLA/OTEZLA XR tablets is apremilast. Apremilast drug substance is non-hygroscopic. Apremilast drug substance is practically insoluble in water and slightly soluble in alcohol. Apremilast is a phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) inhibitor. Apremilast is known chemically as N-[2-[(1S)-1-(3-ethoxy-4-methoxyphenyl)-2-(methylsulfonyl)ethyl]-2,3-dihydro-1,3-dioxo-1H-isoindol-4-yl]acetamide. Its empirical formula is C22H24N2O7S and the molecular weight is 460.5. The chemical structure is. OTEZLA (apremilast) tablets are supplied in 10 mg, 20 mg, and 30 mg strengths for oral administration. Each tablet contains apremilast as the active ingredient and the following inactive ingredients: croscarmellose sodium, iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow (20 and 30 mg only), iron oxide black (30 mg only), lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol, talc, titanium dioxide. OTEZLA XR (apremilast) extended-release tablets are supplied in a 75 mg strength for oral administration. Each tablet contains apremilast as the active ingredient and the following inactive ingredients: cellulose acetate, colloidal silicon dioxide, ferrosoferric oxide, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose acetate succinate, hypromellose, iron oxide red, magnesium stearate, mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polyethylene oxide, sodium chloride, titanium dioxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "STEGLUJAN® is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Limitations of Use: 1 Not recommended for use to improve glycemic control in patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus [see Warnings and Precautions (5.1)]., 2 Has not been studied in patients with a history of pancreatitis. It is unknown whether patients with a history of pancreatitis are at increased risk for the development of pancreatitis while using STEGLUJAN [see Warnings and Precautions (5.2)].",
"Description": "STEGLUJAN (ertugliflozin and sitagliptin) tablet for oral use contains ertugliflozin L-pyroglutamic acid, a SGLT2 inhibitor, and sitagliptin phosphate, a DPP-4 inhibitor. Ertugliflozin. The chemical name of ertugliflozin L-pyroglutamic acid is (1S,2S,3S,4R,5S)-5-(4-chloro-3-(4-ethoxybenzyl)phenyl)-1-(hydroxymethyl)-6,8-dioxabicyclo[3.2.1]octane-2,3,4-triol, compound with (2S)-5-oxopyrrolidine-2-carboxylic acid. The molecular formula is C27H32ClNO10 and the molecular weight is 566.00. The chemical structure is. Ertugliflozin L-pyroglutamic acid is a white to off-white powder that is soluble in ethyl alcohol and acetone, slightly soluble in ethyl acetate and acetonitrile and very slightly soluble in water. Sitagliptin. Sitagliptin phosphate monohydrate is described chemically as 7-[(3R)-3-amino-1-oxo-4-(2,4,5-trifluorophenyl)butyl]-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-3-(trifluoromethyl)-1,2,4-triazolo[4,3-a]pyrazine phosphate (1:1) monohydrate. The empirical formula is C16H15F6N5O∙H3PO4∙H2O and the molecular weight is 523.32. The structural formula is. Sitagliptin phosphate monohydrate is a white to off-white, crystalline, non-hygroscopic powder. It is soluble in water and N,N-dimethyl formamide; slightly soluble in methanol; very slightly soluble in ethanol, acetone, and acetonitrile; and insoluble in isopropanol and isopropyl acetate. "IndicationAndUsage": "SEYSARA® (sarecycline) tablet, is indicated for the treatment of inflammatory lesions of non-nodular moderate to severe acne vulgaris in patients 9 years of age and older. Limitations of UseEfficacy of SEYSARA beyond 12 weeks and safety beyond 12 months have not been established. SEYSARA has not been evaluated in the treatment of infections [see Clinical Studies (14)]. To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria as well as to maintain the effectiveness of other antibacterial drugs, SEYSARA should be used only as indicated [see Warnings and Precautions (5.6)].",

Sarecycline hydrochloride is chemically described as (4S,4aS,5aR,12aS)-4-(dimethylamino)-3,10,12,12a-tetrahydroxy-7-[(methoxy-(methyl)-amino)- methyl]-1,11-dioxo-1,4,4a,5,5a,6,11, 12a-octahydrotetracene-2-carboxamide monohydrochloride with an empirical formula of C24H29N3O8.HCl and a molecular weight of 523.96. The structural formula is represented below. SEYSARA tablets contain 64.5 mg, 107.5 mg, and 161.2 mg of sarecycline hydrochloride equivalent to 60 mg, 100 mg, and 150 mg sarecycline respectively. Inactive ingredients in the tablet formulations are: microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, sodium starch glycolate, and sodium stearyl fumarate. The yellow film coating contains D&C yellow #10 aluminum lake, iron oxide yellow, methacrylic acid copolymer type C, polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol, sodium bicarbonate, talc, and titatnium dioxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "SEYSARA® (sarecycline) tablet, is indicated for the treatment of inflammatory lesions of non-nodular moderate to severe acne vulgaris in patients 9 years of age and older. Limitations of UseEfficacy of SEYSARA beyond 12 weeks and safety beyond 12 months have not been established. SEYSARA has not been evaluated in the treatment of infections [see Clinical Studies (14)]. To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria as well as to maintain the effectiveness of other antibacterial drugs, SEYSARA should be used only as indicated [see Warnings and Precautions (5.6)].",
"Description": "SEYSARA (sarecycline) tablets are a tetracycline class drug for oral administration. Sarecycline hydrochloride is chemically described as (4S,4aS,5aR,12aS)-4-(dimethylamino)-3,10,12,12a-tetrahydroxy-7-[(methoxy-(methyl)-amino)- methyl]-1,11-dioxo-1,4,4a,5,5a,6,11, 12a-octahydrotetracene-2-carboxamide monohydrochloride with an empirical formula of C24H29N3O8.HCl and a molecular weight of 523.96. The structural formula is represented below. SEYSARA tablets contain 64.5 mg, 107.5 mg, and 161.2 mg of sarecycline hydrochloride equivalent to 60 mg, 100 mg, and 150 mg sarecycline respectively. Inactive ingredients in the tablet formulations are: microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, sodium starch glycolate, and sodium stearyl fumarate. "IndicationAndUsage": "I. Vasospastic Angina. Nifedipine Extended-release Tablet is indicated for the management of vasospastic angina confirmed by any of the following criteria: 1) classical pattern of angina at rest accompanied by ST segment elevation, 2) angina or coronary artery spasm provoked by ergonovine, or 3) angiographically demonstrated coronary artery spasm. In those patients who have had angiography, the presence of significant fixed obstructive disease is not incompatible with the diagnosis of vasospastic angina, provided that the above criteria are satisfied. Nifedipine Extended-release Tablet may also be used where the clinical presentation suggests a possible vasospastic component but where vasospasm has not been confirmed, e.g., where pain has a variable threshold on exertion or in unstable angina where electrocardiographic findings are compatible with intermittent vasospasm, or when angina is refractory to nitrates and/or adequate doses of beta-blockers. II. Chronic Stable Angina (Classical Effort-Associated Angina). Nifedipine Extended-release Tablet is indicated for the management of chronic stable angina (effort-associated angina) without evidence of vasospasm in patients who remain symptomatic despite adequate doses of beta-blockers and/or organic nitrates or who cannot tolerate those agents. In chronic stable angina (effort-associated angina) nifedipine has been effective in controlled trials of up to eight weeks duration in reducing angina frequency and increasing exercise tolerance, but confirmation of sustained effectiveness and evaluation of long-term safety in these patients is incomplete. Controlled studies in small numbers of patients suggest concomitant use of nifedipine and beta-blocking agents may be beneficial in patients with chronic stable angina, but available information is not sufficient to predict with confidence the effects of concurrent treatment, especially in patients with compromised left ventricular function or cardiac conduction abnormalities. When introducing such concomitant therapy, care must be taken to monitor blood pressure closely since severe hypotension can occur from the combined effects of the drugs (see WARNINGS.). III. Hypertension. Nifedipine Extended-release Tablet is indicated for the treatment of hypertension. It may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents. Nifedipine Extended-release Tablet is indicated for the treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions. These benefits have been seen in controlled trials of antihypertensive drugs from a wide variety of pharmacologic classes including Nifedipine Extended-release Tablet. Control of high blood pressure should be part of comprehensive cardiovascular risk management, including, as appropriate, lipid control, diabetes management, antithrombotic therapy, smoking cessation, exercise, and limited sodium intake. Many patients will require more than one drug to achieve blood pressure goals. For specific advice on goals and management, see published guidelines, such as those of the National High Blood Pressure Education Program’s Joint National Committee on Prevention, Detection, Evaluation, and Treatment of High Blood Pressure (JNC). Numerous antihypertensive drugs, from a variety of pharmacologic classes and with different mechanisms of action, have been shown in randomized controlled trials to reduce cardiovascular morbidity and mortality, and it can be concluded that it is blood pressure reduction, and not some other pharmacologic property of the drugs, that is largely responsible for those benefits. The largest and most consistent cardiovascular outcome benefit has been a reduction in the risk of stroke, but reductions in myocardial infarction and cardiovascular mortality also have been seen regularly. Elevated systolic or diastolic pressure causes increased cardiovascular risk, and the absolute risk increase per mmHg is greater at higher blood pressures, so that even modest reductions of severe hypertension can provide substantial benefit. Relative risk reduction from blood pressure reduction is similar across populations with varying absolute risk, so the absolute benefit is greater in patients who are at higher risk independent of their hypertension (for example, patients with diabetes or hyperlipidemia), and such patients would be expected to benefit from more aggressive treatment to a lower blood pressure goal. Some antihypertensive drugs have smaller blood pressure effects (as monotherapy) in black patients, and many antihypertensive drugs have additional approved indications and effects (e.g., on angina, heart failure, or diabetic kidney disease). These considerations may guide selection of therapy. Nifedipine Extended-release Tablet may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents.",
"Description": "Nifedipine is a drug belonging to a class of pharmacological agents known as the calcium channel blockers. Nifedipine is 3, 5-pyridinedicarboxylic acid, 1, 4-dihydro-2, 6-dimethyl-4-(2-nitrophenyl)-, dimethyl ester, C 17H 18N 2O 6, and has the structural formula:. Nifedipine is a yellow crystalline substance, practically insoluble in water but soluble in ethanol. It has a molecular weight of 346.33. Nifedipine Extended-release Tablet, USP is formulated as a once-a-day extended-release tablet for oral administration designed to deliver 30, 60, or 90 mg of nifedipine. Inert ingredients in the formulations are: black iron oxide; cellulose acetate; colloidal silicon dioxide; hypromellose; lactose monohydrate; magnesium stearate; microcrystalline cellulose; polyethylene glycol; polyethylene oxide; polysorbate; povidone; propylene glycol; red ferric oxide; sodium chloride; titanium dioxide; triacetin. System Components and Performance. Nifedipine Extended-release Tablet is similar in appearance to a conventional tablet. It consists, however, of a semipermeable membrane surrounding an osmotically active drug core. As water from the gastrointestinal tract enters the tablet, pressure increases in the core of the tablet, releasing drug through the precision laser-drilled tablet orifice in the one side of the tablet. Nifedipine Extended-release Tablet is designed to provide nifedipine at an approximately constant rate over 24 hours. This controlled rate of drug delivery into the gastrointestinal lumen is independent of pH or gastrointestinal motility. Nifedipine Extended-release Tablet depends for its action on the existence of an osmotic gradient between the contents of the tablet core and fluid in the GI tract. Drug delivery is essentially constant as long as the osmotic gradient remains constant, and then gradually falls to zero. Upon swallowing, the biologically inert components of the tablet remain intact during GI transit and are eliminated in the feces as an insoluble shell. USP Drug Release Test 5."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Directions FOR USE IN THE EAR ONLY. Adults and children over 12 years of age:. Tilt head sideways and place 5 to 10 drops into ear. Tip of applicator should not enter ear canal. Keep drops in ear for several minutes by keeping head tilted or placing cotton in the ear. Use twice daily for up to 4 days if needed, or as directed by a doctor. Any earwax remaining after treatment may be removed by gently flushing the ear with warm water, using a soft rubber bulb ear syringe. When the ear canal is irrigated, the tip of the ear syringe should not obstruct the flow of water leaving the ear canal. Children under 12 years: consult a doctor."
