"IndicationAndUsage": "Clindamycin is indicated in the treatment of serious infections caused by susceptible anaerobic bacteria. Clindamycin is also indicated in the treatment of serious infections due to susceptible strains of streptococci, pneumococci, and staphylococci. Its use should be reserved for penicillin-allergic patients or other patients for whom, in the judgment of the physician, a penicillin is inappropriate. Because of the risk of colitis, as described in the BOXED WARNING, before selecting clindamycin, the physician should consider the nature of the infection and the suitability of less toxic alternatives (e.g., erythromycin). Anaerobes: Serious respiratory tract infections such as empyema, anaerobic pneumonitis, and lung abscess; serious skin and soft tissue infections; septicemia; intra-abdominal infections such as peritonitis and intra-abdominal abscess (typically resulting from anaerobic organisms resident in the normal gastrointestinal tract); infections of the female pelvis and genital tract such as endometritis, nongonococcal tubo-ovarian abscess, pelvic cellulitis, and postsurgical vaginal cuff infection. Streptococci: Serious respiratory tract infections; serious skin and soft tissue infections. Staphylococci: Serious respiratory tract infections; serious skin and soft tissue infections. Pneumococci: Serious respiratory tract infections. Bacteriologic studies should be performed to determine the causative organisms and their susceptibility to clindamycin. To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of clindamycin hydrochloride capsules USP and other antibacterial drugs, clindamycin hydrochloride capsules USP should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria. When culture and susceptibility information are available, they should be considered in selecting or modifying antibacterial therapy. In the absence of such data, local epidemiology and susceptibility patterns may contribute to the empiric selection of therapy.",
"Description": "Clindamycin hydrochloride USP is the hydrated hydrochloride salt of clindamycin. Clindamycin is a semisynthetic antibiotic produced by a 7(S)-chloro-substitution of the 7(R)-hydroxyl group of the parent compound lincomycin. Clindamycin hydrochloride capsules USP contain clindamycin hydrochloride USP equivalent to 75 mg, 150 mg, or 300 mg of clindamycin. Inactive ingredients: corn starch, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate and talc. Composition of empty hard gelatin capsule shells: For 75 mg strength-size ‘3’: FD&C Blue 1, D&C Yellow 10, gelatin and water. For 150 mg Strength-Size ‘2’: titanium dioxide, FD&C Blue 1, D&C Yellow 10, gelatin and water. For 300 mg Strength-Size ‘0’: FD&C Blue 1, titanium dioxide, gelatin and water. The empty hard gelatin capsules are printed with TekPrint SW-0012 White Ink. Composition of imprinting ink [TekPrint SW-0012 White Ink] utilized for printing on the capsule shell are presented below: Shellac–NF, Dehydrated alcohol–USP, Isopropyl alcohol–USP, Butyl alcohol–NF, Propylene glycol–USP, Strong ammonia solution–NF, Purified water–USP, Potassium hydroxide–NF, Titanium dioxide USP. The structural formula is represented below: The chemical name for clindamycin hydrochloride is Methyl 7-chloro-6,7,8-trideoxy-6-(1-methyl- trans-4-propyl-L-2-pyrrolidinecarboxamido)-1-thio-L- threo- α-D- galacto-octopyranoside monohydrochloride."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Tamsulosin hydrochloride capsules are indicated for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) [see Clinical Studies(14)]. Tamsulosin hydrochloride capsules are not indicated for the treatment of hypertension.",
"Description": "Tamsulosin hydrochloride is an antagonist of alpha1A adrenoceptors in the prostate. Tamsulosin hydrochloride is (-)-(R)-5-[2-[[2-(o-Ethoxyphenoxy)ethyl]amino]propyl]-2-methoxybenzenesulfonamide, monohydrochloride. Tamsulosin hydrochloride is a white crystalline powder that melts with decomposition at approximately 230°C. It is sparingly soluble in water and methanol, slightly soluble in glacial acetic acid and ethanol, and practically insoluble in ether. The empirical formula of tamsulosin hydrochloride is C20H28N2O5S HCl. The molecular weight of tamsulosin hydrochloride is 444.98. Its structural formula is. Each tamsulosin hydrochloride capsule, USP for oral administration contains tamsulosin hydrochloride USP 0.4 mg, and the following inactive ingredients: methacrylic acid copolymer,sugar spheres, dibutyl sebacate, magnesium stearate, talc, ammonio methacrylate copolymer, copovidone, colloidal silicon dioxide, and hard gelatin capsule. Sugar spheres contain sucrose and starch. Gelatin capsules contain edible ink, titanium dioxide, gelatin, D&C red No. 28, D&C yellow No. 10, FD&C red No. 40, and FD&C green No. 3. The capsule imprinting ink Black SW-9008-/SW-9009 contains strong ammonia solution, black iron oxide, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, and shellac. This product meets USP Dissolution Test 2."

Each tamsulosin hydrochloride capsule, USP* for oral administration contains tamsulosin hydrochloride 0.4 mg, and the following inactive ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, methacrylic acid copolymer dispersion, talc, triethyl citrate, FD and C blue # 1, FD and C red # 40, FD and C yellow # 10, titanium dioxide, gelatin, shellac, dehydrated alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, butyl alcohol, propylene glycol, strong ammonia solution, black iron oxide and potassium hydroxide.*USP dissolution test is pending."

Eletriptan hydrobromide is a cream to pale brown powder that is freely soluble in dimethylsulfoxide and sparingly soluble in methanol. Tamsulosin hydrochloride is a white to almost white powder that melts at approximately 227° to 228°C. It is slightly soluble in water, freely soluble in formic acid.The molecular formula of tamsulosin hydrochloride is C20H28N2O5SHCl. The molecular weight of tamsulosin hydrochloride is 444.98. Its structural formula is. Each tamsulosin hydrochloride capsule, USP* for oral administration contains tamsulosin hydrochloride 0.4 mg, and the following inactive ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, methacrylic acid copolymer dispersion, talc, triethyl citrate, FD and C blue # 1, FD and C red # 40, FD and C yellow # 10, titanium dioxide, gelatin, shellac, dehydrated alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, butyl alcohol, propylene glycol, strong ammonia solution, black iron oxide and potassium hydroxide.*USP dissolution test is pending."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Lamotrigine extended-release tablets are indicated for: : 1 adjunctive therapy for primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures and partial-onset seizures with or without secondary generalization in patients aged 13 years and older. (1.1), 2 conversion to monotherapy in patients aged 13 years and older with partial-onset seizures who are receiving treatment with a single antiepileptic drug. (1.2) .",
"Description": "Lamotrigine, USP, an AED of the phenyltriazine class, is chemically unrelated to existing AEDs. Lamotrigine's chemical name is 3,5-diamino-6-(2,3-dichlorophenyl)- as-triazine, its molecular formula is C 9H 7N 5Cl 2, and its molecular weight is 256.09. Lamotrigine USP, is a white to pale cream-colored powder and has a pK a of 5.7. Lamotrigine USP, is very slightly soluble in water (0.17 mg/mL at 25°C) and slightly soluble in 0.1 M HCl (4.1 mg/mL at 25°C). The structural formula is:. Lamotrigine extended-release tablets USP, are supplied for oral administration as 25 mg (yellow), 50 mg (green), 100 mg (beige), 200 mg (blue), 250 mg (purple) and 300 mg (gray) tablets. Each tablet contains the labeled amount of lamotrigine, USP and the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, macrogol, magnesium stearate, methacrylic acid copolymer dispersion, polyvinyl alcohol, talc, titanium dioxide and triethyl citrate. The 25 mg tablets also contain D&C Yellow No. 10 and FD&C Yellow No. 6. The 50 mg tablets also contain FD&C Blue No. 2 and iron oxide yellow. The 100 mg tablets also contain iron oxide red and iron oxide yellow. The 200 mg tablets also contain FD&C Blue No. 2. The 250 mg tablets also contain FD&C Blue No. 2 and FD&C Red No. 40. The 300 mg tablets also contain black iron oxide. Lamotrigine extended-release tablets, USP contain a modified-release eroding formulation as the core. The core tablets are coated with an enteric coat and have pore forming ingredient in the coat to enable a controlled release of the drug in the acidic environment of the stomach. The combinations of the modified-release core and the enteric coat are designed to control the dissolution rate of lamotrigine over a period of approximately 12 to 15 hours, leading to a gradual increase in serum lamotrigine levels. "IndicationAndUsage": "Pravastatin sodium tablet, USP is an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (statin) indicated as an adjunctive therapy to diet to: 1 Reduce the risk of MI, revascularization, and cardiovascular mortality in hypercholesterolemic patients without clinically evident CHD. ( 1.1) , 2 Reduce the risk of total mortality by reducing coronary death, MI, revascularization, stroke/TIA, and the progression of coronary atherosclerosis in patients with clinically evident CHD. ( 1.1) , 3 Reduce elevated Total-C, LDL-C, ApoB, and TG levels and to increase HDL-C in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia. ( 1.2) , 4 Reduce elevated serum TG levels in patients with hypertriglyceridemia. ( 1.2) , 5 Treat patients with primary dysbetalipoproteinemia who are not responding to diet. ( 1.2) , 6 Treat children and adolescent patients ages 8 years and older with heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia after failing an adequate trial of diet therapy. ( 1.2) .",

"IndicationAndUsage": "Pravastatin sodium tablet, USP is an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (statin) indicated as an adjunctive therapy to diet to: 1 Reduce the risk of MI, revascularization, and cardiovascular mortality in hypercholesterolemic patients without clinically evident CHD. ( 1.1) , 2 Reduce the risk of total mortality by reducing coronary death, MI, revascularization, stroke/TIA, and the progression of coronary atherosclerosis in patients with clinically evident CHD. ( 1.1) , 3 Reduce elevated Total-C, LDL-C, ApoB, and TG levels and to increase HDL-C in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia. ( 1.2) , 4 Reduce elevated serum TG levels in patients with hypertriglyceridemia. ( 1.2) , 5 Treat patients with primary dysbetalipoproteinemia who are not responding to diet. ( 1.2) , 6 Treat children and adolescent patients ages 8 years and older with heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia after failing an adequate trial of diet therapy. ( 1.2) .",

"IndicationAndUsage": "To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain effectiveness of doxycycline hyclate and other antibacterial drugs, doxycycline hyclate should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria. When culture and susceptibility information are available, they should be considered in selecting or modifying antibacterial therapy. In the absence of such data, local epidemiology and susceptibility patterns may contribute to the empiric selection of therapy.",
"Description": "Doxycycline hyclate is an antibacterial drug synthetically derived from oxytetracycline, and is available as doxycycline hyclate (doxycycline hydrochloride hemiethanolate hemihydrate) capsules and tablets for oral administration. The chemical designation of this light-yellow crystalline powder is alpha-6-deoxy-5-oxytetracycline. Doxycycline has a high degree of lipoid solubility and a low affinity for calcium binding. It is highly stable in normal human serum. Doxycycline will not degrade into an epianhydro form. Doxycycline hyclate has the following structural formula. Each capsule for oral administration contains doxycycline hyclate equivalent to 50 mg or 100 mg doxycycline (anhydrous). Inactive ingredients for capsules are: anhydrous lactose, croscarmellose sodium, D&C Red #28, FD&C Blue #1, gelatin, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, and titanium dioxide. Each tablet for oral administration contains doxycycline hyclate equivalent to 100 mg doxycycline. Inactive ingredients for tablets are: anhydrous lactose, carnauba wax, croscarmellose sodium, D&C Yellow #10 aluminum lake, FD&C Red #40 aluminum lake, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate 80, and titanium dioxide."

"Description": "Tamsulosin hydrochloride is an antagonist of alpha1A adrenoceptors in the prostate. Tamsulosin hydrochloride is (-)-(R)-5-[2-[[2-(o-Ethoxyphenoxy) ethyl]amino]propyl]-2-methoxybenzenesulfonamide, monohydrochloride. Tamsulosin hydrochloride, USP is a white crystalline powder that melts with decomposition at approximately 230°C. It is sparingly soluble in water and methanol, slightly soluble in glacial acetic acid and ethanol, and practically insoluble in ether. The molecular formula of tamsulosin hydrochloride is C20H28N2O5S HCl. The molecular weight of tamsulosin hydrochloride is 444.98. Its structural formula is:. Each tamsulosin hydrochloride capsule intended for oral administration contains tamsulosin hydrochloride 0.4 mg. In addition, each capsule contains the following inactive ingredients: black iron oxide, D&C yellow # 10, FD&C blue # 1, FD&C red # 40, FD&C yellow # 6, gelatin, methacrylic acid copolymer dispersion, microcrystalline cellulose, polysorbate 80, talc, titanium dioxide, triacetin and yellow iron oxide. The capsule is printed with black pharmaceutical ink which contains black iron oxide as a coloring agent."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Tetracycline is indicated in the treatment of infections caused by susceptible strains of the designated organisms in the conditions listed below: 1 Upper respiratory tract infections caused by Streptococcuspyogenes, Streptococcuspneumoniae and Hemophilusinfluenzae. Note: Tetracycline should not be used for streptococcal disease unless the organism has been demonstrated to be susceptible., 2 Lower respiratory tract infections caused by Streptococcuspyogenes, Streptococcuspneumoniae, Mycoplasmapneumoniae (Eaton agent, and Klebsiellasp.), 3 Skin and soft tissue infections caused by Streptococcuspyogenes, Staphylococcusaureaus. "Description": "Tetracycline is a yellow, odorless, crystalline powder. Tetracycline is stable in air but exposure to strong sunlight causes it to darken. Its potency is affected in solutions of pH below 2 and is rapidly destroyed by alkali hydroxide solutions. Tetracycline is very slightly soluble in water, freely soluble in dilute acid and in alkali hydroxide solutions, sparingly soluble in alcohol, and practically insoluble in chloroform and in ether. Each capsule, for oral administration, contains tetracycline hydrochloride 250 mg or 500 mg. Inactive Ingredients: Lactose, magnesium stearate, and sodium lauryl sulfate. The 250 mg capsule shell contains D&C Yellow No. 10, FD&C Yellow No. 6, gelatin, sodium lauryl sulfate, and titanium dioxide. It may also contain benzyl alcohol, butylparaben, D&C Red No. 22, edentate calcium disodium, methylparaben, propylparaben, silicon dioxide, and sodium propionate. The imprinting ink for the 250 mg capsule contains pharmaceutical glaze, and synthetic black iron oxide. It may also contain D&C Yellow No. 10 (aluminum lake), dimethylpolysiloxane, distilled water, ethylene glycol monoethyl ether, FD&C Blue No. 1 (aluminum lake), FD&C Blue No. 2 (aluminum lake), FD&C Red No. 40 (aluminum lake), lecithin, n-butyl alcohol, propylene alcohol, and SDA-3A alcohol. The 500 mg capsule shell contains D&C Yellow No. 10, FD&C Blue No.1, FD&C Red No. 40, gelatin, sodium lauryl sulfate, and titanium dioxide. It may also contain benzyl alcohol, butylparaben, edetate calcium disodium, FD&C yellow no. 6, methylparaben, propylparaben, silicon dioxide, and sodium propionate. The imprinting ink for the 500 mg capsule contains titanium dioxide. It may also contain dimethyl polysiloxane, distilled water, ethyl alcohol, ethylene glycol monoethyl ether, pharmaceutical glaze, pharmaceutical shellac, and soya lecithin. The structural formula is represented below. C22H24N2O8 Molecular Weight: 444.44. The chemical name for tetracycline hydrochloride is 4-(Dimethylamino)- 1,4,4a,5,5a,6,11,12a-octahydro-3,6,10,12,12a-pentahydroxy-6-methyl 1,11-dioxo-2-naphthacenecarboxamide monohydrochloride."
