"Description": "Tadalafil USP is a selective inhibitor of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP)-specific phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5). Tadalafil USP has the molecular formula C 22H 19N 3O 4representing a molecular weight of 389.41. The structural formula is:. The chemical designation is pyrazino[1′,2′:1,6]pyrido[3,4-b]indole-1,4-dione, 6-(1,3-benzodioxol-5-yl)2,3,6,7,12,12a-hexahydro-2-methyl-, (6R,12aR)-. It is a crystalline solid that is practically insoluble in water and very slightly soluble in ethanol. Tadalafil tablets, USP is available as almond-shaped tablets for oral administration. Each tablet contains 5 mg of tadalafil USP and the following inactive ingredients: croscarmellose sodium, colloidal silicon dioxide, povidone, hypromellose, iron oxide yellow, lactose monohydrate, sodium citrate dihydrate, sodium stearyl fumarate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium lauryl sulfate, talc, titanium dioxide, and triacetin."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Phendimetrazine tartrate tablets are indicated in the management of exogenous obesity as a short term adjunct (a few weeks) in a regimen of weight reduction based on caloric restriction. The limited usefulness of agents of this class (see CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY) should be measured against possible risk factors inherent in their use such as those described below.",
"Description": "Phendimetrazine tartrate, as the dextro isomer, has the chemical name of (2s,3s,)-3,4-dimethyl-2-phenylmorpholine L-(+)-tartrate (1:1). The structural formula is as follows. Phendimetrazine tartrate is a white, odorless crystalline powder. It is freely soluble in water; sparingly soluble in warm alcohol; insoluble in chloroform, acetone, ether and benzene. Each tablet, for oral administration, contains 35 mg of phendimetrazine tartrate. Inactive Ingredients: confectioner’s sugar (sucrose and corn starch), lactose monohydrate, povidone, pregelatinized starch, silicon dioxide and stearic acid. The pink, white and blue tablets also contain: FD and C blue No. 1 and FD and C red No. 3. The pink tablets also contain: FD and C red No. 3 and FD and C yellow No. 5 (see PRECAUTIONS). The yellow tablets also contain: FD and C yellow No. 5 (see PRECAUTIONS)."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Propranolol hydrochloride tablets are indicated in the management of hypertension. They may be used alone or used in combination with other antihypertensive agents, particularly a thiazide diuretic. Propranolol hydrochloride tablets are not indicated in the management of hypertensive emergencies.",
"Description": "hydrochloride(Propranolol is a synthetic beta-adrenergic receptor blocking agent chemically described as 2-Propanol, 1-[(1-methylethyl)amino]-3-(1-naphthalenyloxy)-, hydrochloride,(±)-. It’s molecular and structural formulae are. C16H21NO2.HCl. Propranolol hydrochloride is a stable, white, crystalline solid which is readily soluble in water and in ethanol. Its molecular weight is 295.80. Propranolol hydrochloride tablets, USP are available as 10 mg, 20 mg, 40 mg, 60 mg, and 80 mg tablets for oral administration. The inactive ingredients contained in propranolol hydrochloride tablets, USP are: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, sodium starch glycolate, magnesium stearate, and povidone. In addition, propranolol hydrochloride tablets, USP 10 mg, 40 mg and 80 mg contain FD &C yellow No.6 Aluminium Lake and Color D&C Yellow No. 10; propranolol hydrochloride tablets, USP 20 mg and 40mg contain FD&C Blue No.1 and propranolol hydrochloride tablets, USP 60 mg contain D&C Red No. 30 Lake."

"Description": "CELEBREX (celecoxib) is chemically designated as 4-[5-(4-methylphenyl)- 3-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl] benzenesulfonamide and is a diaryl-substituted pyrazole. The empirical formula is C17H14F3N3O2S, and the molecular weight is 381.38; the chemical structure is as follows. CELEBREX oral capsules contain either 50 mg, 100 mg, 200 mg or 400 mg of celecoxib, together with inactive ingredients including: croscarmellose sodium, edible inks, gelatin, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, povidone and sodium lauryl sulfate."

"Description": "The chemical name for dabigatran etexilate mesylate, a direct thrombin inhibitor, is β-Alanine, Ethyl 3-[[[2-[[[4-[[[(hexyloxy)carbonyl]amino]iminomethyl]phenyl]amino]methyl]-1-methyl-1H benzimidazol-5-yl]carbonyl](pyridine-2-yl)amino]propanoate. The molecular formula is C34H41N7O5·CH4O3S and the molecular weight is 723.86 (mesylate salt), 627.75 (free base). The structural formula is. Dabigatran etexilate mesylate is a white to yellow powder. It is freely soluble in methanol and dimethyl formamide, slightly soluble in 2-propanol and sparingly soluble in ethanol. Dabigatran etexilate capsules are supplied in 75 mg, 110 mg and 150 mg strengths for oral administration. Each capsule contains dabigatran etexilate mesylate as the active ingredient: 150 mg dabigatran etexilate (equivalent to 172.95 mg dabigatran etexilate mesylate), 110 mg dabigatran etexilate (equivalent to 126.83 mg dabigatran etexilate mesylate), or 75 mg dabigatran etexilate (equivalent to 86.48 mg dabigatran etexilate mesylate) along with the following inactive ingredients: acacia, dimethicone, hypromellose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, talc, and tartaric acid. The capsule shell is composed of carrageenan, hypromellose, potassium chloride, and titanium dioxide. Black edible ink contains black iron oxide, butyl alcohol, dehydrated alcohol, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, and shellac."

"IndicationAndUsage": "TOPAMAX is indicated for: 1 Epilepsy: initial monotherapy for the treatment of partial-onset or primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures in patients 2 years of age and older (1.1); adjunctive therapy for the treatment of partial-onset seizures, primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures, or seizures associated with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome in patients 2 years of age and older (1.2), 2 Preventive treatment of migraine in patients 12 years of age and older (1.3).",
"Description": "Topiramate is a sulfamate-substituted monosaccharide. TOPAMAX® (topiramate) Tablets are available as 25 mg, 50 mg, 100 mg, and 200 mg round tablets for oral administration. TOPAMAX (topiramate capsules) Sprinkle Capsules are available as 15 mg and 25 mg sprinkle capsules for oral administration as whole capsules or opened and sprinkled onto soft food. Topiramate is a white crystalline powder with a bitter taste. Topiramate is most soluble in alkaline solutions containing sodium hydroxide or sodium phosphate and having a pH of 9 to 10. It is freely soluble in acetone, chloroform, dimethylsulfoxide, and ethanol. The solubility in water is 9.8 mg/mL. Its saturated solution has a pH of 6.3. Topiramate has the molecular formula C12H21NO8S and a molecular weight of 339.36. Topiramate is designated chemically as 2,3:4,5-Di-O-isopropylidene-β-D-fructopyranose sulfamate and has the following structural formula. TOPAMAX Tablets contain the following inactive ingredients: carnauba wax, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate 80, pregelatinized starch, purified water, sodium starch glycolate, synthetic iron oxide, and titanium dioxide. TOPAMAX Sprinkle Capsules contain topiramate-coated beads in a hard gelatin capsule. The inactive ingredients are black pharmaceutical ink, cellulose acetate, gelatin, povidone, sodium lauryl sulfate, sorbitan monolaurate, sugar spheres (sucrose and starch) and titanium dioxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Tamoxifen citrate tablets are effective in the treatment of metastatic breast cancer in women and men. In premenopausal women with metastatic breast cancer, tamoxifen is an alternative to oophorectomy or ovarian irradiation. Available evidence indicates that patients whose tumors are estrogen receptor positive are more likely to benefit from tamoxifen therapy.",
"Description": "Tamoxifen citrate tablets USP, a nonsteroidal antiestrogen, are for oral administration. Each tablet contains 10 mg or 20 mg tamoxifen (equivalent to 15.2 mg or 30.4 mg, respectively, of tamoxifen citrate, USP). Each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, lactose (monohydrate), magnesium stearate, polyethylene glycol 400, povidone, corn starch, and titanium dioxide. Chemically, tamoxifen is the trans-isomer of a triphenylethylene derivative. The chemical name is (Z)2-[4-(1,2-diphenyl-1-butenyl)phenoxy]- N, N-dimethylethanamine 2-hydroxy-1,2,3- propanetricarboxylate (1:1). The structural formula, empirical formula, and molecular weight are as follows:. Tamoxifen citrate has a pKa' of 8.85, the equilibrium solubility in water at 37°C is 0.5 mg/mL and in 0.02 N HCl at 37°C, it is 0.2 mg/mL."

"IndicationAndUsage": "VAFSEO is indicated for the treatment of anemia due to chronic kidney disease (CKD) in adults who have been receiving dialysis for at least three months. Limitations of Use: 1 VAFSEO has not been shown to improve quality of life, fatigue, or patient well-being., 2 VAFSEO is not indicated for use: As a substitute for red blood cell transfusions in patients who require immediate correction of anemiaIn patients with anemia due to CKD not on dialysis [see Warnings and Precautions (5.6)].",
"Description": "VAFSEO contains vadadustat, a hypoxia-inducible factor prolyl hydroxylase (HIF PH) inhibitor. Vadadustat is 2-[[5-(3-chlorophenyl)-3-hydroxypyridine-2-carbonyl]amino]acetic acid. Vadadustat has a molecular weight of 306.70. The empirical formula is C14H11ClN2O4. The chemical structure is. Vadadustat is a white to off-white solid that is practically insoluble in water. Vadadustat is formulated as a film-coated, immediate-release tablet for oral administration. VAFSEO is available in 150 mg, 300 mg and 450 mg strengths. Inactive ingredients include: colloidal silicon dioxide, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, and sodium starch glycolate. The tablet film-coating contains polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol (PEG) and talc. Colorants include:150 mg tablet - titanium dioxide300 mg tablet - titanium dioxide and yellow iron oxide450 mg tablet - titanium dioxide, iron oxide red and ferrosoferric oxide."

"Description": "Risperidone tablets USP contain risperidone USP, an atypical antipsychotic belonging to the chemical class of benzisoxazole derivatives. The chemical designation is 3-[2-[4-(6-fluoro-1,2- benzisoxazol-3-yl)-1-piperidinyl]ethyl]-6,7,8,9-tetrahydro-2-methyl-4H-pyrido[1,2-a]pyrimidin-4-one. Its molecular formula is C23H27FN4O2 and its molecular weight is 410.49. The structural formula is. Risperidone USP is a white to slightly beige powder. It is practically insoluble in water, freely soluble in methylene chloride, and soluble in methanol and 0.1 N HCl. Risperidone tablets USP are for oral administration and available in 0.25 mg (orange), 0.5 mg (orange), 1 mg (white), 2 mg (yellow), 3 mg (orange), and 4 mg (brown) strengths. Risperidone tablets contain the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, propylene glycol (except 1 mg), sodium lauryl sulphate, sodium starch glycolate and polyethylene glycol (1 mg). Tablets of 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, 2 mg, 3 mg, and 4 mg also contain talc and titanium dioxide. 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, and 3 mg tablets contain FD&C Yellow # 6 aluminum lake, the 2 mg tablets contain yellow iron oxide; the 4 mg tablets contain iron oxide red."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Hypothyroidism. Levothyroxine sodium tablets are indicated as a replacement therapy in primary (thyroidal), secondary (pituitary), and tertiary (hypothalamic) congenital or acquired hypothyroidism. Pituitary Thyrotropin (Thyroid‑Stimulating Hormone, TSH) Suppression. Levothyroxine sodium tablets are indicated as an adjunct to surgery and radioiodine therapy in the management of thyrotropin-dependent well-differentiated thyroid cancer. : 1 Limitations of Use:, 2 Levothyroxine sodium tablets are not indicated for suppression of benign thyroid nodules and nontoxic diffuse goiter in iodine-sufficient patients as there are no clinical benefits and overtreatment with levothyroxine sodium may induce hyperthyroidism [see Warnings and Precautions(5.4)] . , 3 Levothyroxine sodium tablets are not indicated for treatment of hypothyroidism during the recovery phase of subacute thyroiditis.",
"Description": "Levothyroxine sodium tablets, USP contain synthetic crystalline L-3,3',5,5'-tetraiodothyronine sodium salt [levothyroxine (T4) sodium]. Synthetic T4 is chemically identical to that produced in the human thyroid gland. Levothyroxine (T4) sodium has an empirical formula of C 15H 10I 4N NaO 4 H 2O, molecular weight of 798.86 (anhydrous), and structural formula as shown:. Levothyroxine sodium tablets, USP for oral administration are supplied in the following strengths: 25 mcg, 50 mcg, 75 mcg, 88 mcg, 100 mcg, 112 mcg, 125 mcg, 137 mcg, 150 mcg, 175 mcg, 200 mcg, and 300 mcg. Each levothyroxine sodium tablet contains the inactive ingredients microcrystalline sodium, light magnesium oxide, sodium starch glycolate and sodium stearyl fumarate. Levothyroxine sodium tablets, USP contain no ingredients made from a gluten-containing grain (wheat, barley, or rye). Table 6 provides a listing of the color additives by tablet strength. FDA approved dissolution test method differs from the USP dissolution test methods."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Metoprolol succinate, is a beta 1-selective adrenoceptor blocking agent. Metoprolol succinate extended-release tablets, USP are indicated for the treatment of: : 1 Hypertension, to lower blood pressure. Metoprolol succinate extended-release tablets, USP have been formulated to provide a controlled and predictable release of metoprolol for once-daily administration. The tablets comprise a multiple unit system containing metoprolol succinate in a multitude of controlled release pellets. Each pellet acts as a separate drug delivery unit and is designed to deliver metoprolol continuously over the dosage interval. The tablets contain 23.75, 47.5, 95 and 190 mg of metoprolol succinate equivalent to 25, 50, 100 and 200 mg of metoprolol tartrate, USP, respectively. Its chemical name is (±)1- (isopropylamino)-3-[p-(2-methoxyethyl) phenoxy]-2-propanol succinate (2:1) (salt). Its structural formula is:. Metoprolol succinate, USP is a white crystalline powder with a molecular weight of 652.8. It is freely soluble in water; soluble in methanol; sparingly soluble in ethanol; slightly soluble in dichloromethane and 2-propanol; practically insoluble in ethyl-acetate, acetone, diethylether and heptane. Inactive ingredients: sugar spheres, povidone, ethyl cellulose, polyethylene glycol, hydroxypropyl cellulose, triethyl citrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, titanium dioxide, polydextrose, hypromellose, and triacetin."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Propranolol hydrochloride tablets are indicated in the management of hypertension. They may be used alone or used in combination with other antihypertensive agents, particularly a thiazide diuretic. Propranolol hydrochloride tablets are not indicated in the management of hypertensive emergencies.",
"Description": "hydrochloride(Propranolol is a synthetic beta-adrenergic receptor blocking agent chemically described as 2-Propanol, 1-[(1-methylethyl)amino]-3-(1-naphthalenyloxy)-, hydrochloride,(±)-. It’s molecular and structural formulae are. C16H21NO2.HCl. Propranolol hydrochloride is a stable, white, crystalline solid which is readily soluble in water and in ethanol. Its molecular weight is 295.80. Propranolol hydrochloride tablets, USP are available as 10 mg, 20 mg, 40 mg, 60 mg, and 80 mg tablets for oral administration. The inactive ingredients contained in propranolol hydrochloride tablets, USP are: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, sodium starch glycolate, magnesium stearate, and povidone. In addition, propranolol hydrochloride tablets, USP 10 mg, 40 mg and 80 mg contain FD &C yellow No.6 Aluminium Lake and Color D&C Yellow No. 10; propranolol hydrochloride tablets, USP 20 mg and 40mg contain FD&C Blue No.1 and propranolol hydrochloride tablets, USP 60 mg contain D&C Red No. 30 Lake."

It has the following structural formula. C18H21NO3H3PO4½H2O M.W. 406.37. Each Acetaminophen and Codeine Phosphate Tablet, USP (300 mg/15 mg) contains:Acetaminophen, USP...........................300 mgCodeine Phosphate, USP.......................15 mg. Each Acetaminophen and Codeine Phosphate Tablet, USP (300 mg/30 mg) contains:Acetaminophen, USP...........................300 mgCodeine Phosphate, USP.......................30 mgEach Acetaminophen and Codeine Phosphate Tablet, USP (300 mg/60 mg) contains:Acetaminophen, USP...........................300 mgCodeine Phosphate, USP.......................60 mg. C 8H 9NO 2 M.W. 151.16. Codeine phosphate, USP, 7,8-didehydro-4,5α-epoxy-3-methoxy-17-methylmorphinan-6α-ol phosphate (1:1) (salt) hemihydrate, a white crystalline powder, is a narcotic analgesic and antitussive. It has the following structural formula. C 18H 21NO 3H 3PO 4½H 2O M.W. 406.37. Its molecular formula is C28H36N4O2S·HCl and its molecular weight is 529.14. The chemical structure is. Lurasidone hydrochloride is a white to off-white powder. It is very slightly soluble in water, practically insoluble or insoluble in 0.1 N HCl, slightly soluble in ethanol, sparingly soluble in methanol, practically insoluble or insoluble in toluene and very slightly soluble in acetone. Lurasidone hydrochloride tablets are intended for oral administration only. Each tablet contains 20 mg, 40 mg, 60 mg, 80 mg, or 120 mg of lurasidone hydrochloride. Inactive ingredients are mannitol, lactose monohydrate, pregelatinized starch, croscarmellose sodium, povidone, anhydrous citric acid, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide and Polyethylene glycol. "Description": "Celecoxib is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, available as capsules containing 200 mg celecoxib USP for oral administration. The chemical name is 4-[5-(4-methylphenyl)-3-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl] benzenesulfonamide and is a diaryl-substituted pyrazole. The molecular weight is 381.38. Its molecular formula is C 17H 14F 3N 3O 2S, and it has the following chemical structure:. Celecoxib USP is a white to off-white powder with a pKa of 11.1 (sulfonamide moiety). Celecoxib USP is hydrophobic (log P is 3.5) and is practically insoluble in aqueous media at physiological pH range. The inactive ingredients in celecoxib capsules include: gelatin, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, povidone, sodium lauryl sulfate, hydroxypropyl cellulose, crospovidone and titanium dioxide. The imprinting ink of capsule shell of the 200 mg capsule contains the following inactive ingredients: shellac, propylene glycol, strong ammonia solution and yellow iron oxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride tablets, USP are indicated as an adjunct to rest and physical therapy for relief of muscle spasm associated with acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions. Improvement is manifested by relief of muscle spasm and its associated signs and symptoms, namely, pain, tenderness, limitation of motion, and restriction in activities of daily living. Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride tablets, USP should be used only for short periods (up to two or three weeks) because adequate evidence of effectiveness for more prolonged use is not available and because muscle spasm associated with acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions is generally of short duration and specific therapy for longer periods is seldom warranted. Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride tablets, USP have not been found effective in the treatment of spasticity associated with cerebral or spinal cord disease, or in children with cerebral palsy.",
"Description": "Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride, USP is a white to off-white crystalline powder with the molecular formula C 20H 21NHCl and a molecular weight of 311.9. It has a melting point of 217° C, and a pK aof 8.47 at 25° C. It is freely soluble in water, in alcohol and in methanol, sparingly soluble in isopropanol, slightly soluble in chloroform and in methylene chloride and insoluble in hydrocarbons. If aqueous solutions are made alkaline, the free base separates. Cyclobenzaprine HCl is designated chemically as 3-(5H-dibenzo[a,d] cyclohepten-5-ylidene)-N,N-dimethyl-1-propanamine hydrochloride, and has the following structural formula:. Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride tablets, USP are supplied as 7.5 mg tablets for oral administration. Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride 7.5 mg tablets contain the following inactive ingredients: corn starch, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, polyethylene glycol, pregelatinized starch, talc and titanium dioxide."
